Overall our stay at Livris was quite nice. It's in a quiet neighbourhood that is still very accessible for getting to other areas of the city, both walking and taking transit. The room was large, clean, and modern. The only minor issues we encountered were the satellite TV didn't work in our room, so we only had the few local channels, which wasn't a big deal as well weren't in the room much anyways. The other issue was when we can back and didn't know the heat had been turned on, so our room was quite warm initially until we opened the windows to cool it off. Minor issues though, otherwise we really enjoyed our stay, staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Definitely recommend!

Everything was great. My only recommendation would be to install hooks near the door to hang coats in the winter months.Our last morning the heater worked too well in our room. I touched the thermostat to see what temperature it was set on and it continued to get hotter. I mentioned it at the desk and also mentioned about a small note above thermostat about not adjusting it. Everything else was wonderful. We enjoyed the room refrigerator for cooling drinks. I’d stay here again.

This hotel is excellent. Great location for coming by bus as it is near the bus station. It is also good when coming from the airport as there is a bus from the airport to the bus station. Superb breakfast (I liked that there was variety and portions were small sized so I could taste everything without wasting food). there is a tram to Banja Jelacica.
This hotel has single rooms which makes a perfect choice for solo travellers as they are cheaper.

I really disliked the room. It was TINY. Hardly any space to leave your things and the tv would be in the way of the wardrobe. The sink was tiny. Breakfast was the only thing that I liked and the staff were polite. glad I only stayed here for 1 night.

Location of the hotel is great for the guests with a car. It is close to Slavonska Avenue, where all of the big shopping centers are and even IKEA was 13 minutes away. Yet, you can be on the Ban Jelacic square within minutes as well.

Onlyvthing we were not crazy abour was the fact that nothing much to do around the hotel area if yiu just wanted ti have a chill day without agenda during travels. Stay here!

We loved our stay here. If you have the chance to stay in the junior suite, absolutely do it. Staff was courteous and the room was incredibly comfortable. This hotel is not in city center, but it’s no more than a 5 minute walk from the tram that will take you right into the heart of city center in around 15 minutes. Highly, highly recommend!

There was no complimentary bottle of water in the room. Was woken up at 7 am by the reception call (got the wrong room). One person came in room while I was in the toilet without knocking. There was hair on my sink. They didn’t replenish the shampoos on my second day.

This hotel was very cute and stylish. I was pleasantly surprised by the large breakfast buffet which had a few vegan and vegetarian friendly options such as muesli, oatmeal, breads, spreads, fruit, fruit salad, and non-dairy milks.

The room was small but perfect for one person. The fridge was fully stocked.

The area is practical if you are coming or going from the bus station but otherwise it is not cute and there isn't much to do. I would stay closer to the centre.

Location was in a family neighbourhood. There was a great bar nearby and we had dinner in a nearby restaurant. Both walking distance. There is a bakery cafe next door open until 11pm. Area felt safe, across from a primary school - lots of kids and families. Groceries and tram walking distance. We liked the included breakfast. We would stay here again and would recommend it.

Staff did not recognise EXPEDIA VIP status on checkin, but rectify it immediately with an apology and a bottle of wine and a Croatian chocolate. A very nice gesture. Staff amazing, friendly, smiling.
Great variety of food at breakfast which was included in the price. Coffee from the espresso machine for free!
I would definitely recommend this place, and would stay there again.

Lovely stay out of the centre

I we enjoyed the clean cut style of this hotel. The little touches like chocolate, bottled water and tea getting the kettle to fit under the small sink's tap was a challenge. The single bed is a little smaller than normal but comfortable nonetheless.

Breakfast had cute shaped eggs, bacon and sausages, along with the continental and a range of dried and fresh fruit to go with yogurt. They kindly prepared a doggy bag when I had to leave earlier than breakfast service.

The location is 10 mins' walk from the bus station and around 39 mins from the train station and the start of town. It was initially a little disorientating to find in the dark as it's next to the motorway and the roads look the same around there. There's not much in the local area so you do need to eat dinner elsewhere.

Service was very efficient and effective. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

I stayed in an economy single room which was small but had everything I needed (apart from a safe in the room). There was a kettle, tea and coffee, fridge and mini bar, complimentary bottled water and snacks, bathrobe and slippers and free toiletries. I don't know why it was called an economy room! There was only 1 bottle of water, one each day would be better but I was pleased to get one at all!
The thermostat in the room is controlled by reception and the room could have been warmer. The reception staff were very pleasant, they offered to change my room if I felt cold in the room but it wasn't necessary. My only complaint is that there needs to be additional shelves in the bathroom as there is nowhere to put anything.

Extremely helpful staff! Every employee I met there were so friendly which I really appreciate! I guess the management of the hotel has provided an excellent training program to them. Good job! And I want to give my special thanks to the person in front desk ( his name seems Marc, a very tall guy) who helped me to book a Uber so I was not late for my concert:-). I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again if I re-visit Zagreb!

Everything was great except the AC doesnt work apparently until summer months which is from June as per one receptionist. When I told him that our room is very hot and we cant sleep he just said to open the window which is loud as the room is right on the street and he cant help any further which was unfortunate. Otherwise all the other staff was very helpful and breakfast was amazing as well. Thanks

Small things changed !!

Almost everything was good
But when I checked out,they asked local tax fee 15kuna
I didn’t expect but I had a left change and was not big money ,so I paid and got a receipt in a envelope
But when I came home and cleaned up all travel stuff ,open envelope
It was 10kuna they charged
Why the reception guy got 15 kuna instead 10kuna?

Hotel Livris had great breakfasts and amenities.

Very old and beautiful city. People were courteous and the countryside haunting. Train transport in the City was great. Hotel Livris staff and brochures did not say airport transport cost $200 Kuna. To find out upon arrival to the airport is not helpful.

The rooms were very clean, the amenities were top-notch, the breakfast was excellent and the location was very convenient.

The best part though was how friendly and extremely helpful the staffs were. We checked in late at night (around midnight) without prior notice because of severe flight delay, but the staff in the lobby was very courteous and welcoming.

Also, we had to check out at 4 a.m. to catch an oddly timed flight, and the staffs at the hotel made us packed breakfast consisting of very delicious sandwiches, muffins, apples and yoghurt.

I would for sure recommend this hotel to everyone. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable!

The Livris Hotel was perfect for us, excellent room comfort and breakfast. Within easy walking distance of bus station with our luggage, quiet area near restaurants and bars. Close to tram stop for cbd. So new and comfortable, great stopover in Zagreb.

The hotel is nice and had a good breakfast spread. We got there early and was happy they were able to accommodate an early check in.

Two things I wasn’t happy about:

1) we were only given one room key as they ran out. At one point my boyfriend thought he lost is so they were going to charge us. I have never been charged for a too key so this was new. Good thing is he found it.

2) There was no blanket sheet which I found odd. I’m assuming they wash their blankets after each booking but I don’t know if that’s the case

We booked two single rooms to stay at Livris Hotel and they were both lovely - in immaculate condition, on the small side (which is to be expected) but somehow still very comfortable, equipped with everything you might need. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable as well as unfailingly polite. I will definitely stay with them again if I am ever in Zagreb!

Pleasant city stay, located about 25 min walk from main city square and 5-10 minuets from the main bus depo. Well kept hotel with very comfortable facilities, enjoyable cooked breakfast with moderate selection of food.

Can’t fault service however if you want to stay closer there are other hotel options but you may have to pay more

The Livris is a small, charming boutique hotel in a quiet area about a 20 minute walk from the city center. The staff was very friendly and professional, and the room was excellent. The morning breakfast layout 7am-10am) was amazing...fruit, eggs, bacon, meats and cheeses, pastries, etc, plus a coffee bar. One recommendation would be to get some local money from the ATM upon arrival at the airport, then have a currency exchange or bank break it into smaller bills for tips.

Fabulous pastry shop next door.Room was compact but had everything we needed, was very quiet with comfortable bed and pillows.Room and hotel were very clean and the breakfast buffet was very good.
Overall we were very pleased and would recmend it for staying in Zagreb!
