A beautiful room with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Breakfast excellent. Close to trams so being away from the city center was not a problem - also an easy walk to Center. We walked from the bus terminal with our bags no problem - nice foot paths all the way. No cooling on air conditioning at in October but a big window can open to let fresh air into the room. Fresh paint and decor. Perfect.

First class hotel! Highly recommended!

The nicest hotel property and best breakfast during our three-week trip to Eastern Europe. We were upgraded to a deluxe room (thanks to our hotels.com status). Large and lovely. Super nice! Breakfast was incredible! The largest and most extensive offering of breakfast food that we have ever seen at any hotel. WOW! The server, Ana, was attentive and charming. All the staff was polite and helpful. The location is a little bit of a hike to the city center and sites, but the bus and tram stops are close by.

A little outside the main touristy area but still walkable - 15 to 20 minutes to main square - hotel is very clean and quiet. Stayed there twice within 2 weeks and were very pleased with both stays. They even provided a nice box lunch at no charge when we checked out at 4AM to catch our flight. If we are ever in Zagreb again we will be back

So much good but no AC

Loved so much here,- bed, foam roll, shower, location, room phones, traditional coat hangers to dry clothes, space to unpack, big window that opened, easy TV to find news in English. The front desk staff went to great lengths to help always.

Huge issue was no temperature control. It was still 80F degrees everyday. They'd turned off the air conditioning for the entire building for the season.They did provide a fan. I needed to keep the window open all nite which meant no sound proofing. They advertise having air conditioning and heating, but may not depending on the time of year. Each room should have temperature control for truth in advertising.

It all started wrong as I have reserved the room with breakfast through the hotels.com app, but when I arrived at the hotel I was informed that breakfast was not included. After chatting with Kathrine from Hotels.com app it was just confirmed to me that this is the hotel policy. Strangely though when I asked whether I did choose breakfast option I did not get an answer. Just got that this is the hotel’s policy.
Further to that my room had an issue in the bathroom where the ceiling was dripping water, after the technician came to see, he informed me that the next day we were going to change room. The hotel never informed us, we were in the room until 11am, no one called or visited. We went out in the city and when we came back our key was disabled because “you were changed room why did you not come to reception?”
Overall it is unfortunate on how hotels.com handled my reservation.

The hotel is average. The frustrating part was being there for two nights - two rooms - one room was fine but the other one had a broken AC the whole time we were there. Tried calling to have it fixed - had someone come see it twice. The very last time it turned off completely and we slept in complete heat. Hotel just said sorry about it and nothing else. No option to switch rooms - nothing. Wouldn’t recommend coming back!

Really nice hotel with clean spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. Nice cafe near lobby. The immediate surrounding area is rather quiet and a bit empty with few shops or restaurants. There are some nice cafes, but most of the city life is about a 15 minute walk away. Not too far. Botanical Garden and King Tomislav Square are a 15 - 20 minute walk. Jelačić Square is about a 25-30 minute walk.

Stayed only for one night on a much-too-short visit to Zagreb.I found the hotel to be excellent. Reception staff very helpful. Room was spacious and clean, and bed very comfortable. Bathroom was clean, modern and large. The location is good. Just a few minutes on the No.13 tram and you're right in the centre, or alternatively, an interesting 20 minute walk.
All at a great price. Definitely recommended. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Called the front desk about the air conditioning. The maintenance man told me that it takes time to cool down the room. He also told me to open up the window. The room never cooled down under 26.5 c. We had to open the window just to get a cool breeze. But then we heard the traffic. Just a horrible experience but we didn’t have time to look for something else.

The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. We were also able to check in early.

In addition, it was so convenient to have the tram stop outside the hotel, which took us into the main square in Zagreb.

Certain guests are being careless and lack respect with talking loudly,turning on TV or bashing the doors with such a force it can literally wake you up. I was not pleased how hotel is handling Covid-19 pandemic rules if they really are any. I can understand an invidiual not wearing a mask,but 6 people entering elevator at once is too much it has to be regulated.Cleaning service fails at basic form of communication I got a vague and absurd response in their defence that \"they work hard\" Such answer is meaningless and just as well desperate in order to blindly defend them. Someone will get infected there sooner or later. I barely noticed anyone wearing a mask even up close,yea its important to mention because its it is an hotel and they should act more professional indeed, tis sad I must mention these things again. I will refrain from details but let us say I am a lot less impressed than my original stay last year ,twas February -March 2019. They must not allow people to behave how they want just based on fact they \"payed\" for their night,security,health,communication is the uttermost priority.Best Regards,Duje Belak P.S. Well done for a boss ,being the reasonable one , who would not be, you wont see a single person staying at hotel for 2 weeks straight :)

Massively disappointed in hotel's cleaning service failing in basic form of communication which should not happened ,at least not for a 4 star hotel.There was a very bad small in the hallway as well and I literally saw 6 people entering tight elevator despite \"the sign of Maximum 2 people\" which raises a question Do people truly respect the rules? I think not honestly. They did offered me one extra night stay and boss was reasonable so in the end I can only think that my final review was fair,Regards

Recent guests were slamming doors a lot even in late hours. Cleaning service came in despite me telling them its not needed. During high wind the window in my room would not stop making noise , it has to be fixed, makes it very hard to fall a sleep. A lot of people in hotel are not willing to wear a mask which makes it uncomortable, excluding the staff, and worst of all not properly as well. Absolutely loved the property and the courteous nature of the staff. Would highly recommend the hotel to anybody looking to stay in Zagreb. Great value for money.

Very peaceful and quiet locality. Hotel is located a little away from the upper town, but that is more than compensated by the location of a tram station just a few metres outside the hotel.

There is limited parking outside and it is expensive . It is not walking distance to the city quite far at least 30 minutes or more . No public transport nearby except for cab. Phone service is down and can not get service unless I walk down. At least got bedroom slipper

The room was fine (WiFi, AC, etc). This hotel might have the best shower pressure of any hotel I ever stayed in: fantastic! I arrived early but wasn't allowed to check in until the 2:00 (14:00) check-in time. I didn't know there was a fireworks festival that weekend, and got to see the fireworks from my room (partially obstructed by the next building over). It's less than a half-hour walk to the big sights of the city.
