I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for, so I don’t expect too much when you pay budget prices in central London, but for a one night stop close to Euston this hotel is ok. It is a clean and tidy no frills hotel. You can here a fair bit of noise from the hallways and fire doors and we found the water was only Luke warm at 9 am!

Staff were excellent, check in very simple and room was ready half an hour early so we were able to drop off our bags and a quick freshen up before heading back out! Location is very handy, 8 mins walk from Euston. Bed super comfy and we were very pleased to find the Chromecast option for the TV later to enjoy after our many steps around the city. Would come again

The location is fantastic, the bed is very comfortable, the room is quiet and its size is good. The only downside is that some of the pastries looked and tasted a bit dull and sad. The selection of the food could be better. After all, it was a nice stay and I will definitely come back.

Very helpful polite staff and room comfortable and clean. This hotel is very safety concious in that they dont put room number on your key so that if it gets into the wrong hands nobody can access your room and steal your things.
They also very thoughtfully notify you if you leave belongings behind on checkout. This hotel cares for its guests and i can recommend also walking distance to Euston station

On the whole the Wesley is an incredibly underwhelming hotel. 4 stars just isn't realistic the room is incredibly basic with no bedside tables, lack of storage space and no fridge in the room. The bathroom was tiny and not expected for the package offered. Overall for a basic hotel its fine to sleep but not somewhere to relax for a few days in the city.

Staff were fairly helpful assisting with digital check in. The room was clean and tidy and a decent sized comfortable bed. The only issue was the heat in the room which had no a/c and we couldn’t open the window. This made for less comfortable sleep and by morning condensation had built up on the window.

Greated with just pointing to the self check in machines, no welcome or hello.

Hotel itself is very tired and dated. Corridors smelled of stale vomit.

Room was very basic, our room had no windows that we could see out of or open and the air con didn't work so slept in a hot and stuffy 25° room. Very annoying green ceiling light meant a difficult nights sleep as no way to turn this off.

Only positive is it's close proximity to Euston state. 2/10 would not recommend.

By far THE WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in, & have stayed in 300 or so in N America, UK & Europe. Safe doesn’t lock, backed-up plumbing (already like that when I arrived) even after their plumber ‘fixed it,’ WiFi off & on (& think hack was attempted), elevator button didn’t work so elevator didn’t come, at bedside had to unplug lamp to charge phone, low water pressure in shower couldn’t get soap out of my hair-worst of all staff made it clear THEY DO NOT CARE! Don’t bother to call front desk cuz they don’t answer! I had broken foot & when asked what to do for toilet issue I was told to go from my 3rd floor room to lobby then up a flight of stairs. If u don’t drink tea or coffee good luck, I bought a soda elsewhere but had to wait 15 minutes in their ‘cafe’ for to-go cup 1/2 full of ice, also needed ice for swelling in foot (join us in 21st century & provide ice). Were even more problems. Chose it for location by Euston but access is blocked & staff thought me & my broken foot should walk alone at nite thru deserted maze thru construction zone. (I’m female & in my 60’s). Did I mention THEY DO NOT CARE? They were given chances to address all these issues but couldn’t b bothered cuz THEY DON’T CARE! Why their rating is ‘good’ is a mystery! One final thing: THEY DO NOT CARE!!! FYI: I have videos of every 1 of these problems…but of course they don’t care.

Convenient location for access to Euston-Kings Cross St Pancras. Price for a Monday night is competitive. Comfortable and clean. However, the decor is looking a little worn and dated. Helpful staff. Quick check-in and out. Breakfast bar offers a wide range of foods.

The gym was great - very well equipped indeed and to be honest one of the best hotel gyms I've found, certainly in central London.

The massive negative for me: I'd booked a Superior Room, but the room didn't actually have any windows! I'd have thought that would be a basic expectation in a Superior Room - some natural light. I'd suggest there should be two tiers of this level of room: Superior Room (no windows) and Superior Room (windows), and the former should be cheaper than the latter.

Overall though, not too bad and a decent price for central London. If I go back, it'll be for the gym, not the room!

Hotel was excellent in terms of cleanliness. I liked that it was very close to the Euston train/subway station so it's easy to get anywhere from the Hotel. The only concern I had was that guests and cleaning staff kept coming and going on my floor and the corridor/hallway doors kept slamming so I had a difficult time sleeping from 7am on.

HS2 work drove me insane !

The rooms are good in a whole and I have stayed here a number of times. This visit however was a challenge as the building work for HS2 is going on 24 hours a day and I could barely get any sleep due to the noise and vibrations on the windows etc . It drove me mad and I stayed for two nights with no more than an hour sleep each eve and it really annoyed me . So until the work has stopped or is more limited would I ever consider staying again . Sorry as it’s a great hotel

Bloody HS2 noise all night long

I do stay here quite often as it is a good hotel BUT whilst the work for HS2 is on I had noise all night long and it vibrates the hotel and I go little to no sleep. I am here again this eve and dreading it to be honest. But it’s not the fault of the hotel but I would not be running back until this work is nearing completion which is a shame

The roads around the hotel were blocked off which made the convenient location not as convenient (although, not the property's fault). There was only one elevator which took a long time, so I had to walk from the top floor to reception a few times, which was fine except that I had luggage.

We were given a room withiut AC ..ALTHOUGH AC ROONS WERE AVAILABLE and it was very very hot and humid inside the room we couldn't even sleep .. the lifts were not working and we had to take bags up the stairs ..
The safe in the room was not working althought I have asked for it to be fixed .. but even after fixing it was still not working .
The sink was also draining very slowly and stops on and off
There was no food in the hotel they said kitchen is under renovation. So no room service you have to go out to eat .
The area is isolated and feels unsafe to return at night with small kids .
The room was smaller that what the ohoto looked like .. The only positive is that it is close to underground .
For the amount of money we could have got much better

The room was small but very cosy and stylish. There were some nice restaurants and cafes in the side streets around the Wesley Euston. The staff were very friendly and helful. They've got a small community garden which was lovely to sit in. It's hard to believe how close you are to Euston station. It was really peaceful around there in the evenings. Will definitely stay there again.

A very hot and uncomfortable nights sleep

The room was very small, had no air con although a fan was provided. We didn't spot this in the listing. Bed was very uncomfortable and had a dip in the middle so we kept rolling into it during the night. Bathroom was not as clean as other hotels we have stayed in. For the price we paid, we would've expected it to feel more comfortable.

Despite completing the pre check in information, i was asked all the same information on the check in machine then it didnt even work and the staff had to step in to do it manually (and ask all the same questions again!)

Generally, staff were very friendly.

Lifts need servicing, they were very very slow to respons once buttons were pushed.

Hotel was fine and so was breakfast. Expensive for what it is. The area around the hotel is majorly under construction so accessing the property was difficult and not mentioned in any communication. Garbage all over the street in the area and the neighborhood felt unsafe. If you don't really need to leave the hotel it would be fine.

We really appreciated the lack of strong smelling laundry soap used for the linens. That was fabulous! The bed was comfortable, sheets were good quality, and the room was clean. However, It was very surprising to not have a window in the room or outlets in the bathroom. Also, the fire alarm went off repeatedly at 4am, which was unfortunate (as there was no fire). It was easy to hear our neighbors, which was also unfortunate. Staff was friendly and helpful at check in.

Complimentary ‘bottled’ water in the room had limescale around the neck and was not sealed, so I guess it was refilled with tap water. Photo of Superior room on website did NOT match the room we were given, again very misleading. Hotel location and breakfast were both fine.
