Is a very clean and convenient places to stay at. Just a few walks to shopping malls and foods around the hotel. A2 food court has a lot of variety of foods for people who feel hungry at middle of night. Oppsite hotel also has a lot of foods carts stalls. 👍👍👍👍👍. Will book this hotel again for next trip again.

Bathroom has no space to put your additional space toiletries. If both sides of the bed able to control the lightings will be good. One side of bed power point is too low hence unable to plug in your handphone plug.
No day curtain.
Room insufficient lights.
Duty manager Mr Jumandi did a good job in service recovery.
IMO, avoid room facing GBM despite having a good view on higher floor but the dis advantage is facing afternoon sun which you need to close the curtain completely.

The in hotel spa was not good. At 10pm they rejected body massage when last booking is 11pm and they close at 1230. So we booked ourselves 60mins foot massage. They brought us to a room to lay down as they claimed there were no more seats available. Massaging foot lieing down was uncomfortable and not good. The masseuses were not skilful and they even asked for tips. Other than that the hotel environment, staff and buffet breakfast were great!!!

Worth to stay!

The location is very good, in between chinese wet markets and 2 shopping malls - BCS and Grand Batam Mall. From our hotel, we are also able to see Singapore's MBS!!! Magnificant! But the bad thing is that the breakfast was too cold, not warm at all, didnt really take the 2nd day breakfast because it was quite bad. Hope they can improve on the food. Overall good stay!

Our “Go-To” Hotel every time we come over to Batam. iHotel Baloi is conveniently located very close to Malls, Eateries and Massage Parlors. Staff were polite and attentive, both at hotel lobby and at the Nutmeg Cafe. Breakfast was great with many food offerings and choices. The Deluxe Room was spacious and the room that was assigned to us this time was generally cleaned. Only downside was that even though the room was a non-smoking one, there was still a stench of cigarette smoke smell lingering in the air. The aircon temperature selection in the room was not working. So It was either OFF & ON with unknown low temp setting. Overall, still a satisfying stay.

It was a pleasant stay. Breakfast buffet was good except the bread. It was not fresh and it was cold like just out from fridge. The bread just breaks into powder the moment you held it in your hand and when you try to fold it. Quality of bread is very poor.

Overall stay is very pleasant. However taxi (transport) charged by the hotel is too high, eg the hotel charges 70k rup to Harbourbay wherelse other neighbouring hotels charge only 30k or at most 40k rup.
Real dollar may not be much but by percentage it is very high.

I’ve stayed iBaloi many times but this trip I’m very disappointed as I was bragging with my friends about the breakfast spread, one of the best in Batam. And I was wrong, the food didn’t even deserve a thumbs up. The scrambled eggs total cold and the main spread was a disappointment 👎

It is a very comfortable stay except an issue with their room availability. I booked a non-smoking room and made the request to the hotel, however, i was so disappointed when i checked in because there all the non-smoking room is not available.

Our first stay in this hotel. Better than what we had expected. Though the hotel looks old on the outside, the rooms and corridors are seemingly new. Room is also clean and comfortable. The pool is clean and the gym has fairly new and modern equipment. The breakfast buffet range is also wide. Offers vegetarian items too.

The hotel location is great! On the left around 5 min walk is Grand/Central Batam and on its right 5 mins walk is BCS mall. BCS mall has one vegetarian restaurant which serves very nice food. Just next to the hotel is also a big open aired food centre.

Would recommend friends to this hotel.

I recently stayed at I Hotel Baloi and I must say I am very impressed with the standards of this hotel.

Firstly, the location is great, being just a 3 mins walk away from BCS Mall. There are plenty of great places to find good food around, such as the A2 foodcourt that is right beside the hotel.

There is also a bar that has a live band playing at night right beside the hotel. Massage places are aplenty around the area, and we would recommend Reborn as the place to go to with reasonable massage prices ranging from IDR 198,000 for a 2 hour massage.

The pool is normal, but the gym is great! It has all the facilities you want, such as an assisted bench machine and even a general machine that you normally only see at bigger gyms.

We were given a free drink as well as a free 15 min massage and the massage was great! It was a pity that we were quite in a rush and couldn't opt for their full spa/massage package but I think it is definitely worth trying out.

The rooms are very clean and as the hotel is very new, everything is in good order as well.

The breakfast spread is pretty good, and the food is more than serviceable. The staff were very friendly and smiley which is gives you a good feeling while being there.

To sum up, I would definitely recommend my friends to stay here if they plan to come to this area and I would come back myself in the future as well. Great value for money coupled with a great location makes this a good choice to stay at in Batam.
