The rooms are clean & we always feel safe. I only gave a poor rating on amenities because the ice machine has been down every time we've stayed. The breakfast diner is a nice idea, if you don't mind having plastic utensils & Styrofoam cups for your food & coffee while everyone else has standard plates & cups. Kinda feels like you're not appreciated - just saying.
We'll continue to stay here because the price is right & the rooms are clean.

The room smelled awful. The toilet rocked when sat upon. Toilet seat was loose and shifted.The shower head was at adult shoulder level. The water basically fell out- no water pressure at all. The crowning touch was the curly hair on the ice bucket tray. I asked to be moved, and the 2nd room was a virtual twin to the first. The smell was not quite as bad; I didn’t have to tie a shirt around my head to filter the air. The property itself was in a sad state of disrepair and it was a travesty to charge me over 100$ for that room. I could not find one redeeming factor. How in the world it was rated a 7.2 is beyond me. Don’t stay there if you can help it!

The beds were comfortable. Even though the hotel is older, it was clean. There was a slight smell. Not that I was going to use it, but the microwave was like they had gotten out of a junkyard. It looked in bad shape but clean. It was not a bad stay. They did give us breakfast vouchers for the little diner that was close to the hotel. The breakfast was simple but enough.

We checked in after 10 pm and there was a loud party in the parking lot blaring spanish music.

The lady at the front desk assigned usvroom 251. I requested a downstairs room and she said she couldnt chanege the room because i booked 3rd party. Before i was out the door she was sitting back down messing on hetr phone.

We got to the room to find damage to the door frame and the inside safety lock was broke and non functional. The grab bar in the bathtub was missing, there was some type of white paint or plaster smeared on the inside of the bathroom door, and the cheap plastic toilet seat was loose and did not fit the toilet properly.
I think we were placed in a sub-par room because we booked 3rd party.

I passed this info along to the man at the desk during checkout and he he said he was sorry but really showed no signs of really caring about my concerns.

I am disappointed in Wyndham and have lost confidence in their ability to provide a safe restful experience.

I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS QUALITY INN AGAIN!

The hotel was old and run down, no water in the pool, ice machine broken, TV didn't work for 2 days, no coffee pot then they brought me one and that one didn't work. Went to the office one morning to get a cup of coffee and the coffee pot was empty. Phone in the room did not work so I had no wake up call. The shower dripped and it was very hard to turn it off. Breakfast was served across the street at a restaurant with a very limited menu. One day I had two eggs one piece of bacon and toast and that's pretty much all they offered. Another day I was 15 minutes late for their cut off for the hotel and they would not serve me unless I paid full menu price. I am a senior citizen and they did not offer me a room on the first floor so I had to walk stairs and the hotel was mostly vacant. Worst experience in my life. Because I went through Expedia I could not cancel without penalties.

The only good thing about this stay was the breakfast at Roxie’s Diner. Our ac was so loud that we couldn’t stand to run it all night. The pillows were flat and very small. The television would not change channels even after changing batteries. It stayed stuck on one channel for 2 days. Our bathtub was dirty and the water would not properly turn off. A couple of the lights in the room didn’t work. It smelled awful. Won’t stay again, but didn’t have another choice. It was non refundable and a busy weekend in town

Made online reservation. Drove around building at least 4 times looking for someone to help us check in and get a room. Knocked on office door 2 separate times. The third time we went to the office, (near 12:30am 9:28) girl came out. I did let her know how disappointed I was that we had been driving around and knocking on the door and no one came. She told me I had an attitude and why did I even want to start there if I was upset. She said she has been sitting there since 11pm. Yes, that got me upset. I let the front desk know upon check out and was told management would call me. That has not happened. I wouldn’t write this for no reason. This was mine and my daughter’s experience. The cleaning lady was nice. Upon check out spoke with Chris, he was pleasant as well.

Cant complain too much for 85 bucks. But place stank bad. Couldnt tell if is was beer soaked carpet, weed or mildew. Carpet was moist like, hopefully had just been cleaned? Room was as clean as i think was possible...the whole place had just been used and abused. Ice maker was broke and pool abandoned. Dont really care but i expect this whole place to be bulldozed within a year. Although, i did hear that half the hotels in san angelo are the same.

Old hotel not well cleaned or maintained. The lady that checked us in was nice and the water pressure was good but nothing else to say thats positive about that hotel. Definitely wont be staying there again. The pool was drained and apparently under nonexistent repair. The first room we had was dirty and smelled bad, A/C was not working and the chair was broken and leaned up against the wall. Immediately changed rooms and the second was slightly better but still not great. I highly recommend staying at the Pearl on the Concho hotel. Its just as dated but they keep it clean and better amenities. Close to the same price.

The free breakfast is a voucher for an on-site diner that serves 2 eggs, 1 sausage, and a slice of toast for your voucher. You can order more for more money. A continental breakfast would have been faster and would have been a larger portion.

The faucet in the bathtub couldn't be turned off and leaked constantly, which you could hear throughout the room with the bathroom door shut. The staff are supposedly unable to keep it fixed because someone immediately breaks it again right after it's fixed every time. One good thing to note there's a ton of water pressure and a high-flow shower head.

Floors were moist, there's no better word for it, just mildly moist, and we all had dirty feet when we left.

The TV remote doesn't work unless you stand by it and point the stand, and you have to switch the source with the button on the TV first.

The door ran out of battery in the morning, and maintenance had to open our door for us to get back in to check out.

The pillows are kinda poor but workable, the general condition of the room is ok, some peeling baseboards and such, and poor tile work, but nothing upsettingly poor.

mild staining on the sheets, cough drop on the floor, some garbage underneath some things.

A budget option, but below what I would find acceptable for even a budget option. Next time, I will pay double to stay somewhere else if I have to.

The staff were very nice, no issues at all there.

This would have gotten 5 stars had it not been for the random fire alarms in the wee hours of the morning starting at around 3 or 4 a.m. Otherwise the stay was generally pleasant. One other thing, however, was that the bed was pretty damn hard. Now I'm used to a firm bed, but it gives just a little. The bed I somewhat slept on was HARD. The room was exceptionally clean, and everything worked. Plus the management was gracious enough to allow me to get in to the room just a little early for me to have the time to get ready to attend my niece's graduation after my long travel to San Angelo. Thank you for that. I'll definitely consider staying there again.

We just need a good, safe, and clean place to sleep. It is a little noisy being on Main streets when sirens and very loud vehicles go by.

The staff was great, and the surrounding area was alright, pretty close to a lot of good restaurants. One lamp was missing a lightbulb—not a big deal. I just switched a lightbulb from another lamp I wasn't using. The room was pretty clean. The only negative is that when I went to use my breakfast voucher, the restaurant door was locked, even though it was supposed to be open. The restaurant's opening time is 6 AM, and I arrived at 6:35 AM; however, a waitress and a patron were inside.

If you like staying up until after 2:00 am, then this is the place for you. Stayed 10/31 - 11/4. Thursday and Friday nights there was a party at the hotel conference center. Tried calling the front desk, phone in room, no dial tone. Called on my cell and no answer. No Security on property to resolve issues.

It was a quick trip with the kiddos and we didn’t expect fancy. It passed an overnight stay with a convenient commute to our event for the next day. The inside isn’t Hilton. But it’s definitely CLEAN compared to many motels I’ve stayed at before. Had all the toiletries needed. The air conditioner got the room cold quickly. No complaints.

The staff was friendly but the room was not acceptable. When we got to the room it had a musty smell that lingered our whole stay. We had to purchase air fresheners to calm it down some. There was lime build up on the faucets that was gross. The toilet seat was not secured, so it shifted. There was strong water pressure in the shower but the sink had low pressure. The beds were ok. The floors were sticky so we kept our shoes or socks on the whole time. We took this deal to save money, but next time we visit, we will stay somewhere else.

A good value, but starting to show real wear

I've stayed at this hotel en route to Austin several times, and it has always been a good value; clean, comfortable, and affordable. But it is an older hotel with some wear and tear, and my room last night showed more of this wear than have the rooms on previous visits. The air conditioner needed work, and the curtains didn't close all the way so as to block outside light. This aren't unendurable problems (I jury-rigged the curtains and the air conditioner wasn't so bad that I didn't get a good night's sleep), but I'd be more encouraged to keep staying if I didn't have to deal with them.

Quietest motel ever….no noise from traffic or other patrons. Breakfast was great at restaurant next door! Only draw back was tub was filthy- at first I thought it was stained but when showering I could rub tub with my foot and clean spots in it. And the freezer needed defrosted- was solid ice!

My room was dirty and smelled dirty. The lamp shade had a horrible brown stain and the comforter had dark black stains that looked like oil and I tried to turn it there were brown stains almost like tea or urine. It was incredibly disgusting. When I attempted to call the front desk about it there was no answer and had to leave a voicemail to which I never got a callback. The morning check out attendant did apologize and said the vm would go to the manager but was good is that when I’m gone already! I will never again stay at this property and I’m still waiting on my deposit to be released! Do not recommend!

The walls are filthy, there were multiple stains on the comforters and sheets, the restroom and the doors were very dirty. the carpet had what looked like a blood stain, and needed to be vacuumed. I Lysol sprayed the sheets and blanket, wiped the door handles with Clorox wipes, as well as the bathroom counter and all hard surfaces. I feel like this property has potential to be great, with some deep cleaning. The exterior had trash everywhere, and although the staff were very welcoming and accommodating, providing extra towels and pool towels. I believe what is really hurting this hotel is the cleanliness of the rooms.
