There was a blood stain going through all layers of bedding on one of the beds, hair everywhere and sunflower seeds in the bathroom. I wish I was making this up.

Front desk was very nice. However, the motel is in bad shape. Stairs uneven and loose, second floor felt unsafe due to crooked beams and railing, door to the room was messed up, and there was damage to the furniture and walls within the room. We went back to the office and requested a refund, which was given to us without question. The room rate was very low, so some leeway should be given, but safety was definitely an issue.

Bathtub did not drain took about 30 minutes after a bath to drain there was toothpaste on the bathtub edge that we did not put there. There was painters tape left on the walls from previous painting. There was a sanitation warning on at the conference room so there was no breakfast Will never ever stay there again.

The front desk clerk amber was super rude called to let them know we would be arriving late I called at 10:30 she advised me that she canceled my room cause I didn’t arrive at 7pm we were on the road and had no cell service as soon as I got service I called and was super nice she was rude from the time she answered the phone told her my first name and she cut me off by saying yes Norman last name it’s been canceled I asked her if she still had rooms available or had sold out she said she has two left but by the time I get done calling booking and getting them to reinstate reservation she would be sold out I advised her i had insurance on booking and could call them later is she could just make a new reservation for me I’d give her my card info over the phone she told me no that I wasn’t listening to her and she wasn’t gonna book me another room it was canceled and that was that there was much more
To the conversation with her rudeness I could continue to go on every time I tried to speak she would cut me off or yell over me at
The end she hung up on my when I tried to call back she picked the phone up and hung it up I’m guessing they have caller id so I get my husband to call
And she did the same thing to him I then get my friend and to call and ask if she could get a second room she told

The friend she wast gonna make the reservation then went on to tell us that the hotel had half
The rooms shut down due to bed bugs.

Nobody at front desk when we arrived, waited 20 minutes and finally went to get a bite. When we came back and did get checked in got to the room to find no towels, no blankets on the beds only sheets, no bedding for the pullout. No offer to bring them to the room, had to retrieve them from the front desk. This hotel was filthy inside and out. Half the lights didn’t work, weather stripping was ripped off the door. This place needs a wrecking ball…

Very disappointing stay. The property is in very poor condition overall. Towels were extremely thin from overuse and visibly yellowed. The room smelled strongly of tobacco, which was unpleasant. The mattress was bent in the middle and very uncomfortable. The entire hotel looks neglected, with an old sign at reception saying “no breakfast until further notice.” It feels more like a rundown mom-and-pop operation than a chain hotel. This property needs serious attention and maintenance.

The rooms smelled like that haven’t been cleaned properly in years, you got one towel, the beds had a sheet and a very thin top sheet that had holes in them, the walls were dirty, the floors were dirty, the shower did not drain properly. The TV was broke, the property was dirty with trash all over, looks like there are many people who are living in this property and do not leave. The only thing that was a plus in the sweet lady at the front desk. I don’t know her name since she was wearing a regular t shirt and no name badge but she was very nice.

The hotel was chosen due to its breakfast and price, upon arrival we were advised that the kitchen was being remodeled, therefore no breakfast nor a voucher to compensate. The room was reserved for 6 people, but only had 1 bath towel and 2 wash towels. Then as we left, I noticed some red spots on my arms, neck, and face, of which I do have pictures, turned out to be bedbug bites. It was a disaster from the start, we will never go back to this hotel. If I knew how to get a refund I would have done it. We were in room 260. Thanks LRod

This hotel is extremely budget-friendly, and the price definitely reflects the overall condition of the property. While the room was decently clean considering the state of the facilities, the building itself is clearly in need of significant maintenance. Doors had visible gaps and open areas, and many parts of the property could use some care and renovation.

That said, for travelers whose main priority is paying the lowest possible rate, this place may serve its basic purpose. Just be aware that comfort and quality are very limited, and expectations should be kept in line with the price.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! This motel is a DISGRACE to the \"La Quinta\" brand. We had roaches and crickets, both alive and dead. We had no toilet paper and only one towel for our entire family. The sheets were dirty and had holes in them. We were shocked when we opened the hide-a-bed to find the sheets from the previous tenant still there and a THONG ON THE BED!! We immediately went back to the front desk to cancel. The ONLY GOOD thing was that the front desk lady was nice. On top of all this, Expedia still charged me full price for both nights, according to the total they gave me in the cancellation confirmation email.

We had a King size bed with no blanket and two pillows that were half the size of a standard pillow. The toilet paper roll was down to the very end and there was NO extra rolls in the room. The towels were clean but tiny and one of them was coming apart. One of the doors to the closet was broken and could not be opened. The bath tub was dirty and there were cheetos on the floor. There were piles of trash bags full of trash by the stairwell all day one of the two we were there as well.

1st the positive: the front desk staff was awesome and very understanding and very professional.
Now to the room I was very disappointed in the room the floors were dirty but nowhere near how dirty the tub and shower were! There was still hair in the drain and rust spots(hopefully rust spots) the toilet was exceptionally small.
The outside parking was very sketchy if you drive anything you take pride in make sure you keep an eye on it. Overall this would be the VERY LAST place I’d stay in San Angelo

3rd move was not a charm

We had to change rooms 3 times. The 1st time we walked in the room and whoosh! The odor was so horrible! It was a clash of urine and cigarettes! Had to move to a room that the hotel keys would not work. There was no tech person to fix that. By the time they were in the 3rd room we were so tired and gave up for getting a better room. This room when the air came on it smelled like cigarettes! The bed spread had cigarette burn holes in it, more than 5 different places. There were no blankets. The dead bolt locked us out when we went back down to bring up our luggage. So it was a walk back to the office to get the keys reset. The bathroom was so dirty. The shower had pink stains, maybe blood? There were roaches in there too! The one towel our family was allowed to have was stained and had oily finger prints on it! Walking up the stairs there were urine stains and a horrible smell. It looks like there are rats nests and dust bunnies in the corners of many of the stair steps. The ratings on this place looked good on the hotels.com website. I should have checked google reviews. Don’t believe any of the other ratings on this website because there was nothing any where near good about this place!

The tub was nasty. Property was dirty and unkept. Spoke with another customer who was going to stay but changed his mind because it was dirty. Told us he opened his room only to find a man lying in his bed. This is the absolute worst experience ever. I lived in this city when the property was a grear place to recommend. Ive stayed multiple times but this was the last time. I couldn't get my door to lock from.the outside with out slamming the door to get it to catch. From the inside I was not able to tell if door was locked at all. I travel alone alot and rarely feel unsafe. This time I did not. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. I booked the room at the last minute pending the birth of my first great grandchild. The front desk staff changed me from a smoking room to a non smoking. That was greatly appreciated due to being an asthmatic. On the website my selection was shown to be a non smoking but again great appreciation for the change. The property itself has definitely gone downhill since I last stayed. I wont be back though.

The pool was green, the door didn't close very good (put a chair under the handle just in case it popped open) the juice machine, waffle machine, and ice-maker all in disrepair.
