The bathroom in our room needed a little more care in cleaning the toilet and the door knob mechanism interfered with the bathroom door closing smoothly. Both of these issues could be fixed in less than 30 minutes!

- Breakfast was a bit underwhelming
- The keycard system just doesn't work. Had to go to front desk to get new cards twice in my 12 hour stay. Even the front staff were complaining about it. Seems like corporate/management needs to really approve that investment to replace security for the guest rooms.
If next time I was to stay in Vernal for a few more days to fully explore the surrounding area, I would stay at a newer/nicer place.

We also had door key problems - initially only one of 2 keys worked, then the next day BOTH keys no longer worked.

Only one elevator working - the other elevator slot is a gaping hole.
There were stains on the bedding of one of the 2 beds.

Overall very disappointing for the price.

The internet sign up was a bit convoluted and once connected, very slow. Cell service in the area wasn’t good so hotspot didn’t really help.

It was fine. This was just overnight and it met our needs. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was fine. The hotel is an older facility but it was clean. There was no plug for the tub so that bugged. I had a sore shoulder I wanted to soak but it was late when we got in so I just didn't care. No place to plug phones in to charge. We had our cords but no wall plug as we travel quite a bit, this was the first time in a long time that there weren't charge stations by the clock or lamps, somewhere. The Maverik next door said they sell quite a few plugs to hotel stayers so have your electrical plug charger if you are going to stay here. We would stay again.

Quality Inn, Vernal, was not bad IMO. It is an older property and that is clear. To be fair to though, most of the properties in town are older. The newer ones are at least 50% more expensive.
It was clear to me that the staff and ownership are trying to do their best with an older property to make it comfortable for guests. Breakfast was good. Waffles, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, juice, coffee, hot cocoa, fruit, as well as burritos and sausage biscuits to warm up. Pretty comprehensive from a nice little buffet.
Additionally, there is coffee and hot water for hot cocoa in the lobby so guests can access this outside of breakfast hours of 7-10 am.
Walking in I noticed that there were buckets with windshield washing fluid and cleaners. A nice touch for sure showing the intent of the management to think of their guests.
Rooms were pretty standard. Nothing special. Good TV with nice selection of channels. You could see the age of the property in the bathroom, but I didn't find it to be bad. Completely acceptable for the price point. Also, our room did have a balcony which was nice for a standard room.
Our a/c unit did not work well. When it would come on it was nice and cool, but it was not accurate regarding the thermostat in the unit.
Pool and hot tub were nice. They are indoor and were both great temps. Jets worked in the hot tub as well. Because it is indoor it can get loud, but luckily it was not crowded for us.

Staff was friendly checking in, room was clean, good size, bed was comfortable, hot tub was great, breakfast was okay not the best but okay. Our only issue and complaint was that the room was very hot and the cool air wouldn’t stay on the fan stayed on but didn’t cool the room down at all, the cool would run for a little bit then shut off. We tried to have the window open to cool down the room but it was way too loud being right next to the road. We couldn’t sleep with blankets since it was so hot and were drenched in sweat other than that it was great.

Our two-night stay at Quality Inn Vernal was very pleasant. Check in was a breeze, and the staff very friendly. The room was clean (although dated), and the mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice, with several choices. The only issue we had was the floor was noisy in the room above us at 1:30 the first morning. Overall, a great stay! We would definitely stay here again.

It was dirty, so dated and really just patched together. It showed as “9” in your stars? You’ve got to be kidding me! The photos are the stains on the comforter and sash, the side door that never locked so people came in and out whether they stayed there or not, the soap you’re given for the weekend, the brown stains on the ceiling. Just disgusting. There is no “Quality” in this place.

Only thing we did not like: the walls and floors are very thin, so we heard the room next door taking a shower at 4:45am.

Cons - Dated rooms, ours had musty smell. Had to have our card reset multiple times each day. Doors had a big gap on bottom. Walls are super thin, you can hear everything in halls and adjoining rooms.

This hotel was great. Room was very comfy and beds were fabulous. The restaurant at the hotel was great and very convenient. Im giving them a 4 on service just because they didnt have a guest laundry area on site in that big ol building and we had to go about a mile down the street to wash clothes. We were on a 2 week trip on motorcycles. They were very accommodating and great with check in and any questions we had. Great place overall.
