The room was extremely cold when we came, and the noisy heater took more than five hours to warm up the room.
When we turned the heater to a lower fan it kept on blasting out air at the same speed and noisiness.
We had to choose between sleeping next to an airplane taking off or freeze. Needless to say that we did not have a good night.
We were moved from a suite to a standard room because we had dogs with us. Yes. The property takes dogs, but you have to call and ask them politely.
Morning staff was not professional.
Would not stay there again.

Dinosaur Inn is the best-run hotel I have visited this year. The suite was perfect. The furniture in the suite looked like it was new. The entire facility was clean and organized. The staff served a variety of breakfast items from their menu. It felt like home away from home. We plan to book again the next time we visit Vernal, Utah.

Very serviceable but overpriced

I am a budget traveler but I sprung for this place because of reviews. I was expected a lot more given the reputation. The rooms have been remodeled in a haphazard fashion. The light bulbs were mismatched and the lighting very ugly. Bed was comfortable which is very important to me. Breakfast was very forgettable. Would have been a good value for 70% of the price. The front desk person also was going to charge me for the room twice. Fortunately she double checked and saw that we have prepaid.

This is an older hotel that has been completely remodeled and is a nice place to stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is good, the breakfast was good, the place seemed well kept, except the floor in our room was just dirty. The floors are hard surface which I like, but it was like they just vacuum and never really clean the floor. I suggest they start cleaning the floors between guests. The dirty floor marred an otherwise good experience.

Check in was easy and straightforward, friendly staff. We had a jacuzzi room, really large room with plenty of space. Jacuzzi was a two person, nice and relaxing after a day of hiking. Room was very clean, somewhat dated but nothing broken. Great bed, very comfortable. Shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was continental with a waffle maker. Location is great for food, lots of options within a 5 minute walk. Very close to the highway so easy to get around. We highly recommend staying at the Super 8.

Normally I will stay at a Marriott property due to their loyalty program. However, when looking at Marriott options, they were about $100 per night more than the Dinosaur Inn, and since the reviews were very good of the Dinosaur Inn, we gave it a try. We were very, very happy with the whole experience. Check-in was fast and within a minute we were going to our room. The room was large, beds comfortable, towels were thick, there was also a sink and mirror in a separate room outside of the bathroom. Tile floors and walls in the bathroom. We ate breakfast there, and it was very good. I cannot say enough good things about the place.

The room was clean, however there was no shampoo in the dispenser nor conditioner. The air conditioner/heater was very noisy when it kicked on. It was hard to sleep through that noise.
The complementary breakfast was OK, for the price I paid for the room, I think amenities could’ve been better. I would not stay here again. I do believe I could’ve got a room for half the price and had a better experience.

We had to go the the front desk twice requesting toilet paper and tissues. Plastic cups weren't replaced. Refrigerator was very noisy and made it difficult to sleep. The bathroom fan was extremely loud when turned on (like the bearings were worn out) and had poor aid flow. This was our third year to stay. Unfortunately we will stay somewhere else the next time we come to town. Sorry. ☹️

This hotel has the best location for a festival in Downtown Vernal. It is walking distance from all the fun activities in the evening and just generally a great place to stay. It's really comfortable and has free breakfast in the mornings.

I enjoyed my stay here. The executive sleep was roomy, the tub was large, the bed was comfortable. My only complaints that the TV did not allow me to connect and watch from my streaming accounts. The only thing on the TV were old reruns and the home shopping network. My room was situated right next to the 4 lane major street. Truckers and traffic started at 7 am and lasted all day. Next time I would ask for a different room. I tried but they couldn't accommodate me as I booked with a 3rd party. Lesson learned.

They have a 1 Am cut off for check in which is great. We didnt have the breakfast but it did smell good. Room was clean and they had pleanty of towels. And morning and night staff was very nice. Only (tiny) complaint was the door handle stuck on the room. If my husband hadn't been with me I don't think I could have gotten in the room.
