Not sure how I feel about this place,I stayed with family of four and chose it for everything to do in the facility since weather was cold and rainy ….The price during poor weather or winter months is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT…( water park closed for season should have been posted on site at least not that I saw during my booking search)) arcade,golf,and indoor pool was available (cost not a lot but still more money) breakfast buffet (again more money) was smaller then most continental breakfast and in completely different buildings.
STAFF AND CLEANLINESS WERE THE ONLY THING I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT.
DO GO TO THE NAIL SALON DURING YOUR VISIT VERY GREAT PRICES AND WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

Very rude front desk employee that was uninviting, on her phone instead of greeting us, made a comment about not finding the correct parking lot, and could not properly explain booking information. Manager was called in (she was very friendly) and was able to provide clarity and actually answer questions with a smile.

Staff is very courteous. Nobody came into clean the room the 4 nights that I was a guest. The room is adequate. Quite Spartan. Also the TV never worked. I haven't seen snow on a TV from interference since I had rabbit ears on my old TV. The location was great for the conference I was at. I will stay again next year at the same conference but the accommodations are mediocre.

The room lost power in the morning i went down and they gave me a new room i switch rooms the new room for some reason only had hot water .went down explain I had a 1 and a half year old and we didnt want her to get burnt they said they could not switch rooms since we switch I said ok I would like a refund .well that changed things .they called security witch I thought was insulting and had them take me to 2 rooms to verify the conditions well to there surprise security came back and said it only has hot water we then went to two more rooms we did find a room with cool water.with all that being said we mist the sun rise witch was why we wanted to go.That after noon I went down to talk with the manager and she said since i used hotels.com there was nothen they could do for me.To say the least ai wasted my whole weekend.

Booked & paid ahead for oceanfront. Did not get oceanfront. Went to store. Arrived back to find we had been locked out of our room. Front desk attendant said she locked us out because initial check in attendant ad given us the wrong room. I told her I paid for oceanfront & wanted oceanfront. She just handed us new keys to the wrong room. People across the hall smoked weed in the building, which made the experience even worse. This is an annual trip, and we will be staying elsewhere going forward.

Weekend in Myrtle Beach @ North Shore Resort

My family arrived on Friday and stayed until Sunday!!! Wow!!! What a fantastic 3 day weekend!!! Carmen and Joy (Manager) definitely went well above and beyond on making our visit AMAZING!!! We shared 3 rooms - including 1 bedroom Penthouse!!! Ask about the Penthouse it was very roomy!!! Thank you again!!! Lazy pool, indoor and outdoor pools were great!!! Karaoke on Saturday night was fun!!! Beach Front and Ocean Views made it memorable for my entire family- we will definitely come back again!!! The Harris Family and friends.

The only thing I wish we were told at check in was that that was the only day the waterpark would be open. We stayed Saturday -Tuesday. All the website says it open seasonally with no dates. Otherwise room was clean with a great view of the ocean!

My wife and I arrived on Sunday.. next day we sent to sit and enjoy the lazy river... at about 4;30 someone threw a rock the size of a tennis ball, hit her on the left side of her head... her head swelled and started bleeding... went to the first aid shack but the life guard was chatting up a girl lifeguard.. security came, asked our room number, that was it. Lifeguard brought ice in a bag and paper towel... EMS called and checked her out... she did not pass out, had a terrible headache and bleeding for two days....

NO ONE FROM the Hotel bothered to check on her, even though I told Crystal from guest services about he incident the next day... she said someone would check on her.. NO ONE BOTHERED TO CHECK ON HER OR APOLOGIZE...maybe a lawyer or tv station can get one from North Shore... absolutely discusting and no excuse...

The outdoor pool was great. I wish the kiddie pool had been a hot tub. Indoor hot tub made me dizzy from the chlorine. Still don’t understand where/how to access the waterpark so was disappointed to miss the lazy river. Loved the view from our room. Seemed like a good value for the proximity to the ocean. The overall feel was dated and in need of a revamp. We were on the 3rd floor and the only floor that the ice machine worked was the 7. Which I found out after spending 30 min going from floor to floor with another guest doing the same thing. The front desk was unable to direct me toma working one. Her suggestion was to check around. The one hot tub was occupied by the same group of people the entire stay. Pool towel cabinets were empty the entire stay and had to go to the desk for them each time.

Check-in was easy. Very informative. Getting my bags to my room was a bit frustrating. The doors are not automatic and they do not swing back and fort, so you have to have someone hold them open. Pushing the cart and trying to hold the door open was a bit much. The ice machine(only one) was on the 7th floor all the way on the other end. I stayed on the 4th floor. The mattress was hard, and there was no comfortable chair in the room. The staff was nice. Location is great. And the waterpark was enjoyable. Oceanfront room, loved it.great balcony view.

We had an Oceanfront room with usable balcony & comfy beds! Restaurant on site & more great restaurants nearby! Outdoor waterpark, pool and seating around firepit in front of the Restaurant that also had live music at night. There was an indoor pool, hot tub & Arcade. Security was riding around on golf carts monitoring things. Location was nice! It was a short drive to some amazing places to eat, shopping & attractions but not in the center of Myrtle Beach so it was much less crowded and more quite! I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

The first impression wasn’t bad as the staff was extremely friendly and kind, however once we got into our room, the floors were so dirty that my children’s socks turned black with filth. I called the front desk who had their cleaning staff come to mop, but even after her mopping, the floor was still gross. I noticed that as soon as anything white would hit the floor it would automatically have a black stain on it. I was told this was because of the floors themselves. Either way. It made us Leary and we immediately left and purchased sandals to wear around the room. The property does have a water park “splash pad” and lazy river which we enjoyed. The outside pool was nice but the inside one was absolutely disgusting and with damaged floors that felt extremely dangerous considering their were puncture holes on the floors in random places that could have cut a foot if stepped on. The paint on the floor was peeling off, leaving a grit below your feet that just grossed me out. I instructed my children to keep their sandals on in this area as well. We only went in here a second time so I could show our oldest son and his friends where this was and to get into the hot tub which was also in the same condition. We did their game room activities & mini golf which was enjoyable. However the worst part of the entire trip was the level of discomfort I experienced on their mattresses. They cheaply, had zero padding. We couldn’t sleep and had pains because of this. Lastly Roaches came out.

One suggestion I have is about the pool, I realized that the pool always had bugs, plastic, cigarettes, and hair. They need to pass the pool net daily and also add a bit more chlorine. Another recommendation I have is that the hotel should remove the carpet for the hallways to the rooms because they are outdoor and always get wet due to weather and also people coming from the beach or pools. This caused a weird stench in certain parts of the hallways. They should also check the piping for the bathrooms because there was smell coming from the sinks and toilet. Other than that everything was great and I enjoyed my stay !

This property is on the beach - within a 5 minute walk. That is the plus side. Overall, the property is old and not well maintained. Our room had water damage on the ceiling, stains on the wall, stains on the comforter and bed linens, mold on the curtains, and rust in many places including the tub and sink. The mattresses are so thin that you can feel the springs in your back when you move. The mini fridge door was off its hinges and did not close properly. The “water park” looks amazing in the photos online, but in reality it is small and also run down. The front desk staff was ok. When we told them about the room issues, they offered to bring up new linens but would not make the bed. It was a busy weekend for them, so no opportunity to change rooms.

Parking is limited. There is a parking structure for overflow but it is the worst layout - super small levels with sharp turns; lots of backing up in the structure so other cars can get out. Stress inducing to say the least.

There is a restaurant onsite that we did not try and a pizza counter. Otherwise, you have to drive to get to other options.

Will not be staying here again.

After seeing some reviews online I was concerned about staying at this property but I took the chance and I am happy I did. While the resort rooms may need to be updated, they are clean and accommodating. The resort staff was ALWAYS cleaning the premises to stay on top of the sand and moisture of being on the beach. They were all very friendly. While the room didn't have as many towels or pillows as we would have like, whatever we needed they provided for us. The water park is not directly in front of the hotel like the pictures may suggest but its next door and a short walking distance. It was perfect for my 5 and 6 year old cousin. The breakfast buffet is at the associated hotel next and good for the value. On Fridays, they do a Bluey breakfast buffet. The restaurant in the hotel is newly opened and with its chic interior almost looks misplaced for a family friend hotel. The food was delicious! I think if your expectations are realistic for a family friendly hotel on the beach with good value, good kid amenities that just hasn't been renovated in a while, you won't be disappointed. I wasn't. Its a good location of Myrtle Beach too!

It was great that there were multiple pools, both indoor and outdoor that the depth levels were different so every type of swimmer had a pool for their comfort. There were options for babies starting at 2 feet all the way to 9 feet. The Waterpark was a great option with the lazy river. The beach added yet another option and experience.
My only complaint was that houes keeping needed to service rooms daily to maintenance the sand and need for fresh towels. Seems like were were constantly trying to get towels or clean our floor . Also the toilet and shower in the bathroom is a very tight space be prepared to squeeze in

1) The pics on the internet of the rooms look like brand new rooms. Our deluxe queen rooms were definitely not new or even remodeled. Floors were dirty. 2) Water park looked huge with slides big enough for entire family to enjoy. The slides were definitely for preteen children. Also, was told that North Point \"owned\" water park but had to walk through the Dunes who actually owned park. 3) Limited parking spaces due to hotels parking being used for restaurant for outside guests. We had to circle around parking lot one of the times for about 10 minutes until a space came open to park our vehicle.

Our stay was not as good as we was expected.. our first night we had a little boy pee at our door .. the staff didn’t take care of the situation and we had to deal with stinky pee smell when we would go in and out of our room .. We never ever got any towels when we would tell them we needed them .. we also had to call and complain of someone one fighting and had security and a police office to check it out so we didn’t have a very good time on our hotel stay .. I feel my trip and my payment was a waste of time and hated the whole trip ..

The lazy river was a plus. The property was run down and needs a face lift. Our shower curtain had black mold spots on the bottom. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable. The restaurants within walking distance were good. Mimosas, blueberry grill and lombardos were great. Salt and Lime on the property waa pricey and small portions. The food was ok. The pizza and ice cream from the pizzeria were great. The walk to the beach was easy. Pools had plenty of seating and were well maintained.

Overall the stay wasn't bad but upon arrival to our room, the room had used towels on the bed and in the bathroom along with a used dirty coffee cup still in the bathroom. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned and the floor was covered in crumbs and debris. Upon bringing this to the attention of the reception desk we were given a poor attitude as if it was a problem we were upset about being placed in a very obvious dirty room. Everything else was nice but the state of the room and attitude given from stating being in a dirty room is my only complaint

There was a restaurant on site, drinks were good but on the expensive side, Room was dirty i literally had to clean food stains off the table and counter , there was hair in the shower and left on the hair dryer, microwave was filthy…!! I was too scared to mention something to the front desk because once i got there i checked other reviews and saw the staff or management was never helpful plus i had this trip booked for months for my kids birthday, So i ended up buying lysol spray/wipes and prayed we wouldnt get sick

Would stay again!

Room was very small and not really any extras in the room itself but the inclusion of the beachfront, waterparks, pools, and arcade were great!

The staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived 6 hours early and they let us have access to everything except our room. They also gave us access all day after check out since our flight wasn’t until late evening. It was perfect especially with a young kid to entertain in the heat.
