Perfect place. Clean and right in the beach. Multiple different styles of room to accommodate. Prices super reasonable which allowed us to add a extra day stay. Indoor and outdoor pools and all kinds of extras for Incase you get a rainy day the kids aren't stuck in the room. Always something to do no matter the weather

The best part was the proximity to the beach. No ice machines. No housekeeping. As a guest you are responsible for bringing your own towels down each day to get clean ones. You would be better off staying somewhere else. Oh and the rooms were not clean, yikes.

I recently stayed at the North Shore Oceanfront Hotel in Myrtle Beach and overall had a good experience. The biggest highlight was definitely the oceanfront view and easy beach access. The location is convenient, close to restaurants, attractions, and shops, while still feeling relaxing enough for a beach. I also enjoyed the pools, lazy river, and family-friendly amenities. The staff was friendly during check-in and helpful whenever we had questions. It’s a great spot for families, especially if you’re looking for something affordable right on the beach.The hotel does show some wear in certain areas and could use a few updates, but for the price and location, it was still worth it. If you’re looking for a fun, budget-friendly oceanfront stay in Myrtle Beach with beautiful views and easy beach access, North Shore is a solid option. One thing my kids absolutely loved about North Shore Oceanfront Hotel was the indoor water park area. It kept them entertained for hours and was perfect for families traveling with children. Between the pools, lazy river, and kid-friendly water features, there was always something fun for them to do even when we wanted a break from the beach. The beach access was also super convenient, and the oceanfront views were beautiful. Overall, it was a fun and family-friendly stay in Myrtle Beach that I would definitely recommend for families with kids.

Unfortunately it took us over an hour past our check in time to actually get set up in a room, check in is 4pm and they said our room was not ready yet and will call us, it was around 5pm we got a call, not really anywhere to change if you were going to hang around to wait for check in. The room was okay, beds were not that comfortable. The pool is small and the water park and lazy river are in a different area than where we were staying. Good if you have small kids, we don’t. We made the best of it though

The area and amenities were fantastic. The staff was great. The room floor could have been cleaned better for check-in, but it is the beach and getting the sand out is not easy. The rooms are being refreshed so there are some spotty areas, but it was well worth the price and all the extras made for a great vacation. Lord willing we will be back. Pools, hot tubs, view, family fun areas were all you need. You don't have to leave the property to have plenty of fun.

We enjoy this hotel. The location is awesome and the pool area is nice especially with little kids! They have a one foot deep pool that was very accommodating for toddlers ! Personally would have liked to be a bit higher level we were on second floor but it was ok! My room had smudge marks on the wall, an old hair tie holding the drapes up and the toilet kept needing fixed in order to flush. Also fridge was freezing our food and the freezer was messed up. Beds super comfortable!!

This Hotel is very misleading. One thing to keep in mind is that the waterpark is only open Thursday-Sunday 11-6 PM. I would stay somewhere else that the waterpark is open every day. The indoor pool was filthy. We went to the indoor pool me my wife and two young children and an employee and a woman were doing nasty things in the hot tub. The woman had her top down in the hot tub and the employee had his pants down outside of the hot tub. No one should have to see that especially children. The room was clean but a bit outdated. Also had to take own trash out to the end of the hall. Different not worth the extra money for the amenities. You would be much better off going to the sea crest.

Nice clean hotel. Nice pools. Funny policies on debit/credit card. They would not allow my wife (who was with me and had her ID) pay the resort fees of on her card.

This led to overly complicated check-in and might prevent us from staying in the future. We have never had this problem with Ocean Reef down the street.

Also, someone kept ding dong ditching our door in the middle of the night. Security being more present would have prevented this

Overall not a horrible stay but probably wouldn't return to this location

Room was ocean view so not bad but was right over the restaurant so all we could hear was there fans. Room floor needed a good mop. Found a dirty shirt someone else left. Tub was so slippery i fell stepping in. The hot tub was nice only half the jets was working. The indoor pool needs a cleanning it was green. Playing in the new arcade it was fun just dont expect any prizes unless you play alot. There is no daily room service. You have to take your own trash out an get fresh towles an such. This is the 4th time i have stayed here an it seems the room quality is getting worse an worse. The staff is friendly an helpful.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone.

The room was clearly not cleaned properly. The floors were dirty, the sink had visible grime, and I even found leftover items from a previous guest, which is completely unacceptable. It made the entire space feel unhygienic and poorly maintained.

On top of that, the room had a strong, unpleasant odor that never went away during my stay. To make matters worse, the noise levels were terrible—constant disturbances made it very difficult to relax or get any rest.

Overall, this stay fell far below basic expectations for cleanliness and comfort. I will not be returning.

I would not recommend staying here with children..room out dated n old smells tricky , bathroom dirty,stains, and sticky, toilet have scratches and stains, wash sink rustic and has an odors , pool dirty ,hair floating no smell of chlorine, arcade closed at 7pm, lazy river shorts, water park ok ,lots of seating in the pools area, receptionist rude and un professional, beach lovely, for a beach front hotel the need to do better, they houses keeping used a shopping carts as a cleaning cart 😀 the worse i have seen, oh not forgetting sink clogs

My family was very disappointed with the beds. It was like you were sleeping on the springs themselves. They did not allow us to sleep very well. We was expecting more from the room and the bathroom. As a man I could not raise my arm do to the low ceiling. The TV could have been better. Truly if this is called a quality stay just to relax and hear the sound of the ocean, this is an overrated stay. Never stayed at a hotel where you have to take out your own trash. We were really very disappointed for the money.

We had partial beach view, but it was still stunning. Our only complaint was how soft the beds were. We are used to a firmer mattress, so our sleep wasn't as good. With the dredging that has been done, we were delighted to find LOTs of sharks teeth lying on the white sand, didn't even have to go to the water to find any.

Kind of a gross resort. Check-in was late and the front desk staff snippily said check in “starts” at 4, not guaranteed to be ready at 4. The common areas were gross and dirty and smelled poorly. Amenities closed earlier than advertised. Room was quite dirty: a man’s swim trunks in the safe, skittles on the floor. Telephone didn’t work, remote for tv was missing, those these were fixed after I managed to get through to front desk.

Great location and views of the ocean, though.

There are certainly better resorts for a similar price in MB; this one was just fair/poor.

I would say I stay wasn’t terrible it was definitely a good trip. I think for that much money a night for one day the pictures on the website is not the actual hotel. Everything is so out dated in that hotel. I feel the owners are making enough money to update that hotel. The staff was cleaning and very nice it was clean it’s just oldddd and the ac in the rooms are horrible it’s so much stuff on it that looks bad. The lady in the front with braids was so nice and friendly. My only complaint is the place need to be updated VERY badly if you going to charge that much an day

The floor in the room was so dirty and hairy!!! My sister stayed 3 doors down and hers was the same, but she also had some mud on hers. Clearly they were not swept nor mopped. I asked for a mop, but was told its dirty because of the type of floor it is (that was new to me!!). There were 3 in my room but only 1 washcloth in bathroom. Asked for more and was told we can only get 4 the next day (good thing I always pack some) but they should have been provided! I don't reuse without washing them at home, don't feel I should on vacation either. The freezer in our room was filled with ice, like frozen over- we couldn't use it at all. There was hair and 2 stains on the sheet on one of the beds. The headboard is a wipeable \"plastic\" material but it was dirty/stained to the point where I refused to touch it. We were only on a 2 night stay but I have absolutely NO plan of ever staying here again!

Could have been a lot better. Way overpriced for the service you get. No house keeping unless you ask for it and then they add an extra charge. When we left we had to take our trash out to the trash bin on the floor we were staying on. Last night was bad. The people in the the room next to us were extremely loud. Yelling and cussing at kids and each other and vice versa for almost 3 hours. Will not stay there again!
