Nice clean hotel. Nice pools. Funny policies on debit/credit card. They would not allow my wife (who was with me and had her ID) pay the resort fees of on her card.

This led to overly complicated check-in and might prevent us from staying in the future. We have never had this problem with Ocean Reef down the street.

Also, someone kept ding dong ditching our door in the middle of the night. Security being more present would have prevented this

Overall not a horrible stay but probably wouldn't return to this location

Room was ocean view so not bad but was right over the restaurant so all we could hear was there fans. Room floor needed a good mop. Found a dirty shirt someone else left. Tub was so slippery i fell stepping in. The hot tub was nice only half the jets was working. The indoor pool needs a cleanning it was green. Playing in the new arcade it was fun just dont expect any prizes unless you play alot. There is no daily room service. You have to take your own trash out an get fresh towles an such. This is the 4th time i have stayed here an it seems the room quality is getting worse an worse. The staff is friendly an helpful.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone.

The room was clearly not cleaned properly. The floors were dirty, the sink had visible grime, and I even found leftover items from a previous guest, which is completely unacceptable. It made the entire space feel unhygienic and poorly maintained.

On top of that, the room had a strong, unpleasant odor that never went away during my stay. To make matters worse, the noise levels were terrible—constant disturbances made it very difficult to relax or get any rest.

Overall, this stay fell far below basic expectations for cleanliness and comfort. I will not be returning.

I would not recommend staying here with children..room out dated n old smells tricky , bathroom dirty,stains, and sticky, toilet have scratches and stains, wash sink rustic and has an odors , pool dirty ,hair floating no smell of chlorine, arcade closed at 7pm, lazy river shorts, water park ok ,lots of seating in the pools area, receptionist rude and un professional, beach lovely, for a beach front hotel the need to do better, they houses keeping used a shopping carts as a cleaning cart 😀 the worse i have seen, oh not forgetting sink clogs

My family was very disappointed with the beds. It was like you were sleeping on the springs themselves. They did not allow us to sleep very well. We was expecting more from the room and the bathroom. As a man I could not raise my arm do to the low ceiling. The TV could have been better. Truly if this is called a quality stay just to relax and hear the sound of the ocean, this is an overrated stay. Never stayed at a hotel where you have to take out your own trash. We were really very disappointed for the money.

The stay was okay… the only thing is when it’s time to just chill in the room you can’t change the tv channel to connect your game and play and also we had a very hard time finding a park we paid for the parking permit but couldn’t park in the right area because they had other people with out a parking pass park in the area and also the waterpark DO NOT look as pictured overall the stay was okay the view was beautiful!!!

We had partial beach view, but it was still stunning. Our only complaint was how soft the beds were. We are used to a firmer mattress, so our sleep wasn't as good. With the dredging that has been done, we were delighted to find LOTs of sharks teeth lying on the white sand, didn't even have to go to the water to find any.

Kind of a gross resort. Check-in was late and the front desk staff snippily said check in “starts” at 4, not guaranteed to be ready at 4. The common areas were gross and dirty and smelled poorly. Amenities closed earlier than advertised. Room was quite dirty: a man’s swim trunks in the safe, skittles on the floor. Telephone didn’t work, remote for tv was missing, those these were fixed after I managed to get through to front desk.

Great location and views of the ocean, though.

There are certainly better resorts for a similar price in MB; this one was just fair/poor.

I would say I stay wasn’t terrible it was definitely a good trip. I think for that much money a night for one day the pictures on the website is not the actual hotel. Everything is so out dated in that hotel. I feel the owners are making enough money to update that hotel. The staff was cleaning and very nice it was clean it’s just oldddd and the ac in the rooms are horrible it’s so much stuff on it that looks bad. The lady in the front with braids was so nice and friendly. My only complaint is the place need to be updated VERY badly if you going to charge that much an day

It only worked the last day we was there so the kids didn’t get to enjoy it like they should’ve. That part really suck because we came so far just for it to be down.

The floor in the room was so dirty and hairy!!! My sister stayed 3 doors down and hers was the same, but she also had some mud on hers. Clearly they were not swept nor mopped. I asked for a mop, but was told its dirty because of the type of floor it is (that was new to me!!). There were 3 in my room but only 1 washcloth in bathroom. Asked for more and was told we can only get 4 the next day (good thing I always pack some) but they should have been provided! I don't reuse without washing them at home, don't feel I should on vacation either. The freezer in our room was filled with ice, like frozen over- we couldn't use it at all. There was hair and 2 stains on the sheet on one of the beds. The headboard is a wipeable \"plastic\" material but it was dirty/stained to the point where I refused to touch it. We were only on a 2 night stay but I have absolutely NO plan of ever staying here again!

Could have been a lot better. Way overpriced for the service you get. No house keeping unless you ask for it and then they add an extra charge. When we left we had to take our trash out to the trash bin on the floor we were staying on. Last night was bad. The people in the the room next to us were extremely loud. Yelling and cussing at kids and each other and vice versa for almost 3 hours. Will not stay there again!

Only ding I have and is uncontrollable on the resorts part is that the very large dredging equipment was right on the beach in front of the resort and we couldn't get to the beach by the resorts walkways, we had to walk down to the walkway in front of the next establishment.

Not sure how I feel about this place,I stayed with family of four and chose it for everything to do in the facility since weather was cold and rainy ….The price during poor weather or winter months is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT…( water park closed for season should have been posted on site at least not that I saw during my booking search)) arcade,golf,and indoor pool was available (cost not a lot but still more money) breakfast buffet (again more money) was smaller then most continental breakfast and in completely different buildings.
STAFF AND CLEANLINESS WERE THE ONLY THING I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT.
DO GO TO THE NAIL SALON DURING YOUR VISIT VERY GREAT PRICES AND WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

Very rude front desk employee that was uninviting, on her phone instead of greeting us, made a comment about not finding the correct parking lot, and could not properly explain booking information. Manager was called in (she was very friendly) and was able to provide clarity and actually answer questions with a smile.

Staff is very courteous. Nobody came into clean the room the 4 nights that I was a guest. The room is adequate. Quite Spartan. Also the TV never worked. I haven't seen snow on a TV from interference since I had rabbit ears on my old TV. The location was great for the conference I was at. I will stay again next year at the same conference but the accommodations are mediocre.

The room lost power in the morning i went down and they gave me a new room i switch rooms the new room for some reason only had hot water .went down explain I had a 1 and a half year old and we didnt want her to get burnt they said they could not switch rooms since we switch I said ok I would like a refund .well that changed things .they called security witch I thought was insulting and had them take me to 2 rooms to verify the conditions well to there surprise security came back and said it only has hot water we then went to two more rooms we did find a room with cool water.with all that being said we mist the sun rise witch was why we wanted to go.That after noon I went down to talk with the manager and she said since i used hotels.com there was nothen they could do for me.To say the least ai wasted my whole weekend.

Booked & paid ahead for oceanfront. Did not get oceanfront. Went to store. Arrived back to find we had been locked out of our room. Front desk attendant said she locked us out because initial check in attendant ad given us the wrong room. I told her I paid for oceanfront & wanted oceanfront. She just handed us new keys to the wrong room. People across the hall smoked weed in the building, which made the experience even worse. This is an annual trip, and we will be staying elsewhere going forward.

Weekend in Myrtle Beach @ North Shore Resort

My family arrived on Friday and stayed until Sunday!!! Wow!!! What a fantastic 3 day weekend!!! Carmen and Joy (Manager) definitely went well above and beyond on making our visit AMAZING!!! We shared 3 rooms - including 1 bedroom Penthouse!!! Ask about the Penthouse it was very roomy!!! Thank you again!!! Lazy pool, indoor and outdoor pools were great!!! Karaoke on Saturday night was fun!!! Beach Front and Ocean Views made it memorable for my entire family- we will definitely come back again!!! The Harris Family and friends.

The only thing I wish we were told at check in was that that was the only day the waterpark would be open. We stayed Saturday -Tuesday. All the website says it open seasonally with no dates. Otherwise room was clean with a great view of the ocean!

My wife and I arrived on Sunday.. next day we sent to sit and enjoy the lazy river... at about 4;30 someone threw a rock the size of a tennis ball, hit her on the left side of her head... her head swelled and started bleeding... went to the first aid shack but the life guard was chatting up a girl lifeguard.. security came, asked our room number, that was it. Lifeguard brought ice in a bag and paper towel... EMS called and checked her out... she did not pass out, had a terrible headache and bleeding for two days....

NO ONE FROM the Hotel bothered to check on her, even though I told Crystal from guest services about he incident the next day... she said someone would check on her.. NO ONE BOTHERED TO CHECK ON HER OR APOLOGIZE...maybe a lawyer or tv station can get one from North Shore... absolutely discusting and no excuse...
