I booked and paid for a single queen when I got there I was put in a double twin. I asked for a price reduction for the inconvenience and was told it’s the last room take it or leave it. I’m not sure who was at fault the booking app or the hotel. Either way it’s false advertising. It was very inconvenient and uncomfortable to say the least.

Beds were comfortable and pillows were comfortable. The wall outlets in between the beds were nonfunctional.
Shower tub was in fair condition, the tub floor was peeling on the sides. Shower curtain did not fully cover tub across the shower rail. The provided safe box was nonfunctional, no way to lock the safe. Continental breakfast was not great, hotel only provided mini bagels, banana, bananas cereal, and microwavable sausage biscuits.

Our TV did not work. The phone to call the front desk did not work, so I walked down to tell them the TV was broken. She just said nobody could help. I asked for a discount on my room and she said I'd have to talk to a Manager in the morning. I was in a hurry to leave in the morning and did not see anyone at the front desk when I left the next morning.

The room smelled like fish and only got better by leaving the fan on constant. I don't think the ice cooler had ever been cleaned. There was a disgusting yellow sludge on it.

The worst stay I have ever had. At 1:45 am the person next door decided to yell and that went in until well after 3. I call the front desk and they didn’t do anything. I would never stay here again and recommend you reconsider staying here.

Yes, they welcomed pets, but we did not come with a pet!
Walking into the room, the stench was over powering! I immediately turned the fan on to get the air moving. That helped somewhat. The floors were so filthy that our feet turned black walking around the room. The next morning going for breakfast there was only a couple bananas, dry cereal, dry bagels, no coffee and a half gallon of milk sitting on the counter and a few other items.... We walked to the
nearby McDonalds!
On our second day there the shower drain backed up filling the bottom of the tub with sewage!!!! I could go on, but I won't!

I stayed in room 319. The shower mixer tap didn't control the hot/cold water properly so we never had any hot water. The wooden floor boards needed renewing as some were held down with clear tape. The breakfast selection was poor, orange juice was watered down too much, tea and coffee horrible. This is a typical 2 star \"cheap\" hotel which was comfortable for one nights stay.

Econo lodge

Stink like paint and other offensive odors . Front desk offer to change rooms, she apologized and explained she forgot the room next to mine was painted the night before that is the reason of the strong odors. Thankfully I always carry my inhalator because I was getting sick from the extreme odors. Bathtub had dirty feet marks at the bottom . I got out of three as soon the sun came out.

I travel with my 2 dogs. This motel's policy is for all pets to be on the first floor. So my 2 quiet dogs and I had to listen to barking during the night, making it a bit difficult to sleep. Plan to find breakfast somewhere else because they did not offer much. Otherwise, motel was clean, rooms are large, staff was friendly.

One of the worst places ever had to stay in, for a ridiculous price. Never slept, with the doors slamming and loud \"patrons\" all night. Felt like a welfare hotel with families and large dogs living there. Can't believe we paid $200 for one night in a house of horrors.

Friendly staff was the positive for this two night stay. They put us in the handicapped room but we did not request or need it. The bathroom was in a terrible state of disrepair. We did not ask for another room as the room itself was fine. However we had yipping dogs next to us which was noisey all night and day. There appeared to be several families that were living there on a permanent basis as they and their children were always in the lobby watching tv and kids running and playing games....but they were well behaved so not an issue. Could have been hurricane families so no compaints about that. There was not a luggage stand so had to put it on the closet shelf. Closet was in sad shape. Toilet area was not at all clean.

Sorry to say this was an absolute horrible experience for me and my family. When we arrive in the front door is open. The lobby smelled like marijuana so bad that we had to put our shirt collar up to cover our mouth got to the front desk and the person checking in before me Had a pitbull. The front desk worker was OK not very friendly just clicked around on the keyboard for a while, and then when she was done, handed us, our keys told us I brought breakfast and pointed out where the elevator was arrived on our floor as we were walking to our room we met with a disgusting smell as we got closer. There was a large pile of diarrhea all over the carpet made it to our room. Where is OK nothing great. We’re not stay here again.

FILTHY TOP TO BOTTOM

Evacuated from Melvin. The place reeks of some strong chemical cleaner, but apparently it doesn't work. It's literally crusted with filth everywhere. Ceiling drywall coming loose with black mold above the bed. Carpets in the hall visibly filthy. I wouldn't even shower. I left and rode out the storm at home instead. Now they're trying to charge me $50 for not formally checking out at the desk. I asked Joyce at the front desk to retrieve an item I had left in the room for me and that I would come in the morning to check out. She literally screamed at me, claiming there were people that needed that room. When I tried to tell her they could have it, she would not listen. She wanted double pay on that room at a extremely inflated price. I think I'm going to have a word with Ashley Moody the Florida attorney general about price gouging during the stor, and the Pasco county code inspector. Tried to add photos but app won't let me.

Great place to stay

It was absolutely a wonderful stay! I was there four days and the staff was just awesome! A homeless person came in through the pool area and Razna got him right away and sent him on this way and the next day there was another one outside with a bicycle and Heather sent him away. The carpets are a little rundown but the room was wonderful and Fernando the maintenance guy was just always happy and singing. Everything was clean the pool was nice. A location cannot be beat as your close by to all places to eat and even their Mall area . An excellent stay.

I understand that typically, you get what you pay for, but staying at the Econo Lodge takes it to another level. The rooms were smelly to begin with. The beds and pillows were also uncomfortable. Finally, there was an \"incident\" or disturbance (noted not only by me, but also by others) in which someone was banging on my door resulting in a picture on the wall falling to the floor! Enough said - I won't be staying at any Econo Lodge ever again.

I believe that I have very reasonable expectations when it comes to a value property. I just believe that this property could pay a little bit more of attention to the details and it would very easily exceeded expectations. Things like hair clogs in the shower drain, mildew, rusty, faucets, and fixtures, along with mismatch, lighting and poor lighting in the room are just a few little details that could be easily fixed and make this an exceptional value. But the property does hit the marks that are important. The beds are comfortable. The pillows are nice. The linens are nice. I found everything in the property to be clean and well-maintained with the exception of the front door. The location is very convenient to major highways and local eating places and shopping. I would stay here again.

My stay at Econo Lodge Wesley Chapel was horrible! The room next door to mine had puppies, which were left alone, cried and barked for 2 hours Saturday morning and 2 hrs that evening. When we called the front desk we were told that the tenants just ran out for dinner. The staff member (who wouldn’t give her name) knew the puppies were crying and did nothing about it.

The bed was the only decent part of the stay. The ceiling was falling apart, the refrigerator and microwave was rusted. The shower didn’t turn off and the building smelled like weed and cigarettes. Definitely not worth the amount I paid, $200 a night, should be no more than maybe $100 during peak season.

It needs a good cleaning. Updated washer /dryer. Had to go to the laundromat with wet clothes to dry on way to the airport. The staff did change our room because the first room had a mattress that made a noise if you made any connection with it. The staff was very nice and helpful. Great coffee.

I have to say that the room i stayed in this time wasnt the best. Granted, theres still interoir renovations being done. The tub faucet didnt turn off completely so the constant dripping of water was annoying, but the beds are super comfy and the staff is friendly so i cannot really complain.

So this could have been a nice place but the manager Joyce was so rude. Even when we went QUIETLY down to speak to her about a roach in our room her reply was “it’s Florida you’re going to have roaches in rooms” and then she was very inconvenienced when we asked to move to another room. We waited multiple hours for the room during this time she bad mouthed the cleaners for taking so long in rooms they were cleaning when we could see them getting so much trash out of the room. She also made us feel uncomfortable playing cards at the table in the lobby… pretty sure that’s why they are there. However I will say that the host heather was very polite and kind
