Very friendly small resort . We felt welcomed, seen and waited on. Kayaking, fire dancing and other activities were offered free. Great stay close to Natadola golf course; which was an exceptional experience. We were rained out after 13 holes and they gave us a rain check. We came back and played another 18 with great rental clubs!!

We spent 2 weeks at Yatule Resort. It was excellent. The staff are fantastic. The food is excellent - loved the Japanese restaurant. It is on a beautiful beach - a shirt walk to snorkeling. Ww love a small resort because of the opportunity to meet other travelers. Our beachfront bure was very nice - great bed and linens. Definitely recommend Yatule.

We went during the off season so it wasn't as busy. Everything from the room to the staff to the location was fantastic. If I were to nit-pick at something, it might be the selection of foods, ie the menu. I wished it had more options for local cuisines. It was nice that there were basics like pancakes and hamburgers, and some better yummies like curries and steak... but I really only saw 2 items that were considered local. Again, this is only if I were to look for something to complain about. :) The best naan I had ever eaten was here. It was amazing. Sooo good. I think I could have just eaten naan here and be happy.
The room was comfortable - bed, air conditioning, TV, bathroom, and floor space. If you wanted to sit down, it was on the patio. We brought a chair inside to sit not on the bed.
The staff made the resort welcoming. A ready smile and joke.
The beach was gorgeous. Don't forget your sunblock. Yikes. They gave us a scoop of soothing lotion for our burns. It smelled wonderful.
As you walk on the beach, locals may approach you to offer massages and horseback riding. The cost is much cheaper than the resort, according to another patron we talked with. But I went with the resort massage and left happy.
One note: We reserved the Ocean View Bure. It just meant that if we walked outside and turned right, we can see the ocean. If you want to see the ocean from your room, it's the beachfront bure. Mis-leading and disappointing, but we let it go and enjoyed.

Great location, perfect relaxing spot if you don’t want to stay close to Nadi or Port Denaru. The staff were super friendly and keep your spirits high making sure you are having a great time throughout the stay.
Big points for the ocean view Bure. Your eyes won’t tire looking at the ocean the whole day. The Spa was very relaxing too. Can keep doing on about this but a great experience overall at Yatule resort.

Our stay at Yatule Resort and Spa was fantastic in November 2025.
The resort was spotless. The room was comfortable and clean and overlooked Natadola Beach. The staff were super accomodating and friendly. They knew us by name by the second day of our stay.
The resort pool was excellent and the activities run by the resort were so much fun!

The food was fantastic!! No need to eat anywhere else!

I absolutely had the best stay- gorgeous views, serenity & a rainy day, swim serenade was the best send off. What a gem of a spot. Just needs stand up paddles and boogie boards and purified water filter- bring/buy big bottles of water. Many venakas- loved this spot.

The beach was excellent as was the snorkelling just a few minutes or swim away.

We enjoyed our stay enormously and would say it is the best hotel we have stayed in for a while. Ticked all our boxes. Staff were lovely, very friendly and hospitable. We especially enjoyed the welcome and leaving songs, and in the mornings too! Room had everything we needed and comfy beds. Peaceful and quiet. Good food choices. Activities to join in if felt inclined, 2 swimming pools to choose from and a great beach. Airport transfers and a fabulous day out to an island easily arranged by the efficient and helpful tours lady. We left feeling very relaxed.
If i would comment on anything, the food and drinks we thought, were on the expensive lside, and a little shop on site would have been good for snacks etc. as nothing else around. Also, as an older person with a few joint issues, i found the pools difficult to get in as the steos are quite deep and no ladders which would have been easier.
We'll be back for sure. Vinaka

We had 4 nights in a Beachfront unit, with great views of the beach, modern rooms and friendly staff.
The two restaurants had 4 menus, and we particularly enjoyed the Japanese restaurant and interaction with the chef and other guests. All food was wonderful.
We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere compared to the nearby, much larger and busier Intercontinental Hotel.
The beach is beautiful, clean and great for long walks, and the sound of the waves was very relaxing.
We had massages at the spa which were great and at reasonable prices.
We will definitely be coming back to stay.

The staff at Yatule Resort and Spa were just exceptional. We were welcomed like family and so well looked after. It was a great experience of living in a more traditional village. I loved the variety of food and drink, especially the local cuisine. We were serenaded by local musicians daily and the location was just magical. Only a few steps to the ocean. I highly recommended Yatule especially if you want a more peaceful and relaxing escape

We found the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. Three staff members, in our opinion, stood out. Remi and Soni were outstanding servers. Both these staff members provided outstanding attention to our needs, were cheerful and respectful of our space. Luke was an amazingly knowledgeable snorkel guide for our daily snorkel tour. He helped us use rock sponges to prevent mask fogging and he consistently directed us to areas on the reef where we could see many varieties of ocean life. We saw manta rays, octopus and a huge clam. The property could use some maintenance on the pool deck. Overall, our 8 nights (Sept 22 to 29) there were wonderful. We would definitely go back.

What an incredible stay! This resort is truly the best small boutique getaway right by the beach. The beach itself is absolutely spotless, perfect for relaxing walks or just soaking in the ocean views.

The food was absolutely delicious — special shoutout to Chef Sundeep for his amazing tandoori dishes that we couldn’t get enough of! Luke and Penny were fantastic at planning and running the resort activities — they made every day fun and memorable. And Nani was so patient and helpful with booking our day trips, always going above and beyond for us.

The InterContinental is just a short walk down the beach from the resort, and we did have dinner there once — unfortunately, the food was terrible compared to the amazing meals at Yatule. If you’re looking for a quiet, laid-back atmosphere, Yatule is the place to be.

We’ve truly fallen in love with the people and the beautiful Fijian culture. We already miss the staff and can’t wait to come back next October! 🌺

From the very first ‘Bula’ to the very last ‘so long, farewell’ - friendliness, kindness and humour is right at the heart of Yatule and its staff and we couldn’t have felt more welcome. Fijian hospitality is second to none!

The resort facilities are well maintained, and kept spotlessly clean by the wonderful housekeepers, the food & service in both restaurants is fabulous, and the scenery is simply stunning.

The beach front bure provided a relaxed position to sit quietly and admire the views, and nature seemed in perfect harmony. Watching the sunset each evening with the backdrop of birdsong and soft Fijian melodies will forever have a special place in our hearts.

Yatule is absolutely beautiful! It has a great location on Natadola Beach. The infinity pool view is gorgeous, especially during sunset. Breakfast buffet was delicious and abundant, you have many options to choose from, and you can also order 1 a la carte dish per person. I also loved the live music during breakfast, super relaxing vibe! The staff was the friendliest people ever! The bedroom had a great size and the bathroom was very nice too. Next time I'm in Fiji, I'll book my stay again at Yatule.

The perfect place to end our stay in Fiji! We were coming from some beautiful but more basic/rustic resorts in the Yasawa Islands, and everything here felt like a step up in luxury. The location is stunning and the accommodation and facilities are great. Our bure looked fairly traditional from the outside, but felt like a nice modern hotel room from the inside, with a very comfy bed. The food was delicious and it was nice to have so much choice after some (understandably) more restricted menus in the more remote locations. We particularly enjoyed the new Japanese restaurant. The staff were friendly, with a special shout-out to Remi at the bar, who is such a sweetheart. I also had a truly excellent massage from Tia. Vinaka and we will see you again!

oh, so the week long stay at Yatule was very pleasant.
there is some room for improvement in the maintainece and food arears but overalll pretty good.
The rooms are clean and pretyy well maintained. the shower grate in our room was 6mm lower than the floor , so the shower was a bit unrelaxing having to place your feet awkwardly over it. The A/C was somewhat doisy and vibrates through the room - not a big deal unless you need to sleep with it on at night. A ceiling fan maybe a good option.
The food was not to bad , but lacked some variation and quality for breakfast. Far to many sweet items which appears to be quite common in Fiji.
If We ever go back to Fiji ,We would stay again. The Staff were absolutely wonderful.

Beautiful location and the service provided by staff is exceptional especially by Remi, Liku and Bu. Recommend dining in the restaurants as there is a variety of menu options and the food is cooked fresh and tastes delish. The drinks we ordered were always refreshing. There are 2 pools and the picture perfect white sandy beach. We were there for a relaxing holiday and thats what we got, even with families with small children. This resort is for everyone. Best time in Fiji time.

If I get an opportunity to visit this gorgeous paradise again I will definitely want to stay here again.

The staff have all been so friendly and professional and the property is maintained and kept in impeccable condition.

Got one of the best massages ever in their spa and found it hard to even want to leave to see more of Fiji because it was so beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable.

Every meal I had was also very delicious. Even though I rarely eat breakfast I found myself looking forward to their breakfast because of the variety and quality of the food that was yummy!

Loved the feel of this place-very authentic. Beautiful outlook and very friendly staff. Had an excellent Japanese restaurant too. Unfortunately we had a mouse (or possibly something larger) visiting our room every night! So very disruptive sleep… The staff tried to get rid of it by boarding up a hole but it didn’t seem to make much difference. Regardless, would definitely visit again.

Yatule did not communicate in time!

Unfortunately, Yatule cancelled our stay while we were in route to Fiji even after much communication from both parties. Very sad and disappointing as we were unable to choose a new place prior to leaving from USA. Everyone was kind to us but it was quite a jolt!

This was a more intimate stay. Everything was easy to find. A friendly arrival welcome. Comfortable beds, good AC and the waves on the shore were soothing.
At 10:30 am absolutely go snorkeling with Luc. This way you know where the best spots are, the currents are and he shows you amazing things.
They way way way overcharged $12 for bottled water. This should be free and unlimited if the tap is not clean.
Cleaning staff didn’t show up until very late in the day and only did our room once in 4 days.
It was sad maintenance repairs were behind and poorly done but the hotel was going to shut down completely to be refreshed and staff were sad about not going to have jobs.
The renovation should connect the side and front deck. Deck door was old heavy and needed repair. The screen was sort of tacked on with big nails.
There were very few guests. The location is very beautiful and it’s a place to relax.
The road in was very bad deep potholes.
The food was just okay.
There was a guitar player who sang that was at the bar. He was very talented.
They also had a free fire dancers one night.
The activity board should show the whole week not just the day so everyone can plan.
We enjoyed this relaxing stay.

The facility is old and in dire need of renovation. The restaurant menu is not diverse and food was terribly overpriced for the quality level. Of course, the scenery is lovely (it's Fiji!), but the rooms need a facelift and there was even an insect problem in our room! I hear they are soon to remodel....hopefully, these issues are resolved.

Our only concerns were the state of disrepair of some amenities, cleanliness of beach lounge chairs and the garbage that washed up onto the beach not being picked up daily.

Tbh place was extremely terrible in terms of zero privacy and locals seem to evade all privacy at all times . No place to sit and benches had nails all open and very dangerous. Zero breakfast expectations with saying “breakfast include “ be aware breakfast only has bread and fruits and if you want real food be ready to pay . Place has zero levels of medication- fell sick at place and hotel didn’t even have basic paracetamol on site - shows there is nothing at hotel except when you throw money . Locals harass to the point to buy this buy that it was peaceful to stay inside the room .

My family and I really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Yatule Resort. The staff were incredible, so helpful and friendly. The food and drink options were great and the prices were very reasonable. The staff organized a birthday cake for my Mum, who had her 80th while we were there, and they sang for her which was amazing! Yes the accommodation could be refreshed a little but for us it was no big deal!!!! Afterall we only slept there! The lovely ladies that service the rooms did a great job and asked us daily if we needed anything. We are already planning our next trip to Yatule xx

The beach is absolutely the best beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is the best place if you are only here to relax for 3 days. Perfect place to chill.
Very inconvenience, too far from town and airport, no taxi around so you have to book from the tour desk if you wanted to go out. No restaurants in the area, only Intercontinental and you have to purchase a pass for $65 a day so you can access the facilities, restaurants...The restaurant at Yatule is very good, nice foods but very limited, we ate almost the same foods for 7 days, no varieties. Hope they will change and have more in the menu, more nightly activities to entertain the guests as it is too far from town.

The most positive aspect of staying at this hotel was the kindness of the Fijian staff. They went above and beyond regarding customer service. On the other hand, our bedroom had some issues that needed maintenance, including some loose cabinet doors in the bathroom and broken furniture.
When informed, the staff couldn't solve the issue as the administration was not committed to the hotel's functioning and maintenance. The beach was dirty with some rubbish that negatively impacted the Fijian experience.

Quiet and cosy, could hear only the waves at night. The aircon temp indicator was too bright, Woul prefer a tap outside to wash away sand before entering the bure to keep sand out.

We are beach people so we chose this resort for it's location. The Beach is walkable and beautiful. Snorkeling right out in front of Bures. The most charming feature is the staff. This is a Fijian resort. It has Fiji staff and an island vibe. It is what we were looking for.

Yatule Resort was absolutely wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and yet professional and always with a big smile. They accommodated us at a few occasions (arriving early, late breakfast etc...). The manager was fabulous as well.

Unique Fijian operated property that was beautiful and not sterile high end like the property next door. The staff went out of their way to make sure all the guests were happy and well looked after. The pool was great. Unfortunately we only were able to snorkel one day before the cyclone came but still enjoyed the big waves and storm watching.

The staff is very friendly. I could not get used to the semi private bure with connecting door which offered no sound proofing. It is unfair to expect the guests to sort it out themselves. However, I understand this is the same at other resorts. I was next door to a honeymooning couple from Newzealand. Thankfully they were very kind n understanding. Anyone who is booking a bure in a resort should be aware that there r 2 adjoining rooms per hut. No sound proofing. Buyer beware😀

Yatule looks great in photos, but the reality is much different. This resort has so much potential, but it has not been kept up. Everything could do with a little more upkeep. The rooms are small and walls are paper thin, can hear neighbors conversations. The wifi situation is horrible, they only have free spotty service at reception. We were told it would be $25 FJ per day for service in our room and only for a max of 2 devices. The pool is small and the pool bar was not in service. The staff was nice enough, but seemed to be lazy and no one is in charge, lack of management. No "extras" when it comes to customer service. The best part of Yatule is the beach. I would consider this a 2-3 star resort and not worth the current pricing.
