Our stay at Yadua Bay Resort was truly delightful and relaxing. From the moment we arrived, we were met with excellent customer service—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The staff’s warm hospitality made us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay.

The resort boasts a beautiful and well-maintained swimming pool, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The villas are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, thoughtfully designed to blend island charm with modern convenience.

One of the highlights of Yadua Bay Resort is the stunning natural views. Room has lizard inside very difficulty to sleep thou staff tried to get rid of it was unsuccessful she said they will change the room but it didnt happened I t was very hard to sleep that night .I have spend time in so many hotel but this was worst WONT RECOMEND ANY OF MY FRIENDS TO VISIT THIS HOTEL

We ended up staying here as the Shangri-La stuffed us around with our booking. The location is good with a good super market within walking distance. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond. We stayed in a two bedroom villa, great size and comfortable beds. Not any cooking utensils in kitchen so it made it difficult to cook and the restaurant was closed. They did offer to get the chef in if we wanted but we were the only ones staying there so we felt bad. The property overall is in pretty ordinary condition, no maintenance getting done and the condition of the pool is pretty bad. If you want peace and quiet with no one else around then it might be the place for you but I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Our recent stay at Yadua Bay Resort was profoundly disappointing and fell far short of what we expected from a resort, especially one booked through Expedia. We had two \"Seaview Villas,\" but encountered numerous significant issues that severely impacted our holiday.

Key problems included:

Major Security Flaw: The main door in one villa could not be locked from the inside, forcing us to leave it unsecured overnight until it was fixed the next day. This was a serious safety concern.

Misleading Wi-Fi & Poor Communication: Despite Expedia's promise of \"free Wi-Fi,\" it was not available in the villas. There were no working phones, forcing long walks to reception just to be told this.

Missing Basic Amenities: Hand basin towels were not provided, with the excuse that \"other guests misuse them,\" which is unacceptable.

Safety Hazards: The main entry doors had significant trip hazards due to uneven surfaces.

No Hot Water: One villa had no hot water supply for our entire stay, despite complaints. We had to use the other villa to shower, which was incredibly inconvenient.

Substandard Amenities: Irons were missing and, when provided, were in horrendous condition.

Missing AC Remotes & Property Damage: AC remotes were absent, requiring manual power-on with a chair. Our villa also had visible, unrepaired damage (like punch marks on doors/walls), which was alarming.

Overall, the resort's condition and lack of basic services were inconsistent with any reasonable standard for a resort.

The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We felt like we had a personalized experience with the fishing advice given, shown the good spots and ideas for activities. We feel we got to know the staff well and enjoyed our stay. The menu was good.
The WiFi was a little interrupted but they did their best to accommodate our needs.

As much as this place is at a very nice location the staff here are so laid back that they forget to provide even basic customer services. We stayed at Yandua for 4 nights and regretted it from day one. Firstly there is no iron or ironing board provided in the room u can get one from reception which by the way is a bit of a walk. Secondly house keeping will knock at ur door every morning asking if u need room service so you can forget about sleeping in and please do not change ur mind once u have said no to cleaning ur room coz that is such a inconvenience that u might even get that disgusting look.
Forget about getting a massage here coz the staff will not ture up and u will get tired of waiting. So overall not a very pleasant stay for us. But again the locating is very nice

7 of us waited one hour and a half for breakfast at resort restaurant. Another friend stayed there 10 days said its same every day. Well I can’t waste valuable vacation time waiting for breakfast so we will not return.

We had a great stay. They were really accommodating. We had extra towels to take with us to the beach, they helped with our transfer when a cab showed up late, they packed up breakfast the day before when we were leaving too early for breakfast, they helped me pack up the included breakfast as room service, and much else. The only negative was the internet in the room didn't work for us, but I that was a pretty standard experience when we were traveling.

It would be great if the resort had more than 1 person working in the restaurant. 1 man served everyone that was dining. On day #1, I waited 35 minutes for my dinner and in the entire restaurant there was only 6 people. If they focused more towards their restaurant, it would definitely help them gain customers. My breakfast was included in the booking however for my 2 days stay, I had to eat the same meal. They have plated servings and not buffet style which was a bit odd as 2 days in a row I had the same meal for breakfast. Overall, I was disappointed with the restaurant meals.

I didn’t like anything about this property. The road driving in was full of pot holes (gravel road), the villa was dirty, ripped curtains, no tv, no WiFi, the walls were bare and the paint was pealing. Cockroaches were present along with lizards and huge spiders throughout the villa. There were cows and horses roaming the property, so there was also cow and horse poop all over the property and the so called beach area. We truely regret staying here and even tried to get out of our rental but they wouldn’t give us a refund for the unused time. The pictures on their website have not been updated and do not look like anything that is there now. Hopefully if anyone is looking to book this property they read this post first and change their minds.

This property is primarily targeted for the \"local\" market. The room, though clean, did not have an information folder, the only phone between the beds was disconnected with no wall socket visible to connect to, the large glass window was found with large cracks. Shower and hand basins would flood and took a long time to drain.

Nice enough hotel let down by WiFi

WiFi has been complained about for 6 months in comments and was still not working. Ended up paying for mobile sims as some of us had meetings to do. Simply put, they shouldn’t be able to advertise wifi.

Beach has a reef/rock pools in front and so we ended up not swimming there. Road leading to the property is potholed and not great on car tires. Food choices in restaurant were pricy and not great value when compared to nearby Olive Tree.

Property was however clean, worn but reasonably maintained. It’s a good place if you are exploring and we used it in that way.

quiet piece of heaven

If you are after a quiet resort on the beach, just to kick back and read a book, or lounge at the poolside then this is the place for you. We snorkelled only 20m out from the beach shore and could see all kinds of tropical sea creatures in the coral. the water in the bay is clear and dense with coral and tropical fish, star fish etc. - it gets shallow enough for kids only up to adult calf height when tide out - and above waistline when tide in to snorkell/swim. This resort offers friendly and safe family holidaying in Fiji about 1 hour 10 minutes from Nadi airport. The resort employs locals from the village and our daughter was treated to taste some village experiences which she loved. Beautiful views from restaurant. 10 min from main town Sigatoka, 2 min from olive tree supermarket and restaurant, and fuel station- we had great food/drink there, 15 min from sand dunes and 20 min from Kula wildlife park. Gecko resort about 10 min away offer cultural fire dancing 3 nights per week - we visited the restaurant there one night and only paid for dinner - fire dance was complementary. we had a deluxe room on ground floor which was equivalent to an aussie motel room with kettle and bar fridge - our room had ocean views and balcony is nice place to chill. food and drink available from restaurant. Best to hire a car just because you can just up and go whenever you need - a big thanks to all the folks at Yandau Bay Resort for a relaxing and safe and friendly holiday - lovely people!!!!

A very nice small resort, comfortable stay for two nights. Justin, James and the rest of the staff were all very welcoming and super friendly. Nice pool, and decent sized rooms. Wifi was a little unreliable, but otherwise good value for money and would definitely stay again.

We rented the villa for 3 nights.There was no wi-fi, you are expected to bring your own. There is tv but no service and if u don’t have Wi-Fi you are out of luck. The slides were closed, and the beach had water snakes sun bathing. Rooms were made but toiletries weren’t replenished. Beds had sheet with no comforter or blanket, there were no irons and there was no way to contact front desk despite the landline. There was no washer to wash clothes.

Nice large room with balcony. Huge menu in the restaurant but quite expensive. No complimentary water in the room, you have to buy Fiji water from the bar. No snorkeling equipment available. Littered beach belongs to the resort which could be cleaned up by the resort. Tiles missing off pool. Nice pool, clean. Dirty and torn sunbeds that need replacing. No activities. Expensive taxi to town with tourist price, not locals price. I am not able to add photos for some reason.
