Bedarra Beach Inn is a gem! The property is small, but well maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a great view of the beach and pool. However, what made our stay so special and perfect was the outstanding staff who made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The staff truly elevated our experience!

The Bedarra Inn is located in a quiet area. There are restaurants within walking distance and the Outrigger Resort is just down the beach. You can also easily take a bus into town.

I recommend the Bedarra Beach Inn if you are looking for a quiet place on the Coral Coast. The staff will make you feel like the Bedarra Inn is your home away from home!

Everyone was so friendly and kind. Excellent staff. Unfortunately, the day spa advertised as open 7 days a week was not available. Beautiful beach front area to enjoy cocktails in the evening. Easy walk down the lane to a couple of restaurants. Would be even better if the staff provided a Kava ceremony in the evening for guests. Lovely location.

We had the best 10 days at Bedarra Beach Inn and were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff greet you with a smile and remember your name, the service by each and every one working there is exceptional. If you're looking for a chilled experience then you can't beat the Bedarra. The beach is clean with plenty of coral and fish. There is ample space on the grassed area to relax on the sun lounger under the umbrellas. Happy hour from 5-6 daily with 50% off on beer wine and cocktails. The food is delicious with plenty of options. The outrigger is within walking distance if you fancy a change of pace or food options. There are other food options close by (crab shack, beachside bar and grill and Sinbad Pizza). Overall we were made to feel at home and it was a extremely relaxing and comfortable stay. Special thanks to Vinni and Cecil for being so lovely to us, but everyone a massive shout out to the whole Bedarra Crew for your hospitality and service. Will absolutely be back again in the future!

BULA BULA! The staff here are AMAZING They make everything better. The large room with balcony, the amenities, the service, the happy hour, the restaurant, the pool, the grounds, the beach, the reading room, are all better because of them. VINAKA TO EVERYONE. This is not the Marriott or the Outrigger but it is cozy and charming. The staff are proud of what they do.The food is top notch and you would need reservation for dinner since many clients if near by hotels come there to eat.

We enjoyed our 7 night stay at Bedarra. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and decorated nicely. The bathroom needs a little maintenance but is functional. The reef is right out the front of the resort and you can borrow reef shoes, snorkelling gear and kayaks from reception. Bedarra is in walking distance to many restaurants if you choose not to eat meals all the time at the resort. Catching the local bus into Sigatoka is easy and only costs $1.45FJD each. Great place to stay and we will be coming back.

A magic spot on the Sunset Strip.

While Bedarra Beach Inn is an older motel, it is well maintained. It is on the waterfront with a manicured park like area immediately adjacent to the lagoon. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Meals at the restaurant were large, varied, and enjoyable.

Its got a bit of rustic charm to it for sure , initially they tried shoving me in a room just off reception which was laughable because in no way was it suitable to be a guests room

I complained and they moved me after that it was better , the food is hit and miss the curry was very good and pancakes were good too

I think its a bit overpriced for what it is but when you have the monolith that is outrigger a few ft away it actually looks ok value

I probably wouldn't go back but then I found Fiji in general very underwhelming

This is a smaller resort, but don't let that fool you. Staff are more attentive as there is fewer guests. But the service is 5 star. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Quiet restful days are spent here. In the mornings I sat on the Balcony and read with the staff saying friendly Bula or Yandra as they came to work. This is our second time here and the only place we want to stay in Fiji.

We enjoyed this inn with its beautiful beach, sunsets and snorkeling right out front. It was quiet and very clean. The meals were delicious and there were so many choices! The staff were very nice! We enjoyed taking the local bus to town which was only 15 mins away. We stayed 8 nights and it was thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing!

I travelled to Fiji with my two kids, age 4 and 7. I was making an adventure for us in addition to being invited to a friends wedding. We stayed at the Bedarra Beach Inn for 6 nights. March 28-April 3. It was beautiful. I loved everything about this location, the room, the staff were amazing, it was quiet, the photos online of the beach and grass area don't do it justice, it's perfect. If we find ourselves in Fiji at another time, we will for sure stay here again. As a Mom traveling alone with her two kids, we felt safe and super welcomed. There are a few restaurants to eat at just a short few minutes walk along the road, access to the Outrigger Beach Resort was a couple minutes walk down the beach... perfect!

Great Start to a Multi-Country Trip

Although it is an older property, it is well maintained and clean. The staff is extremely helpful and the food was great! In fact, the food was so good, service personable and prices reasonable, we ended up eating every meal there, except one. It is a ways from Nadi airport but worth the travel, with their shuttle (actually a taxi). Check out the fire walkers (surprisingly it included a kava ceremony) at the Outrigger Hotel or culture center.

The steak was so chewy that my partner nearly choked on it - we sent it back and said we weren’t prepared to pay for it, to which the reception staff were very rude with us and we had to get the waiter over to confirm it wasn’t edible and remove it from our bill which took a good 20 minutes of back and fourth. Couple behind us had the exact same problem. Didn’t dare eat there in the morning for breakfast for the filthy looks that the staff gave us, for fear that they would spit in our food!

We have just stayed for 6 wonderful nights at Bendarra. From the very beginning the staff have been amazing - So friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Our room was tidy and big! Bed was comfortable, bathroom was big and quite modern, and the aircon (which was very much needed in the Fiji humidity) was fabulous.
Our friends stayed at the Outrigger which is bigger and more suited for children and activities, however it was only a short walk away along the beach to visit our friends who were staying here. We always enjoyed coming back to the Bendarra as it was quieter and very relaxing vs a larger, louder and busier resort. There is a lovely beachfront set up with loungers and chairs to sit in.
The food was great and service amazing (thank you Vinnie) with other options within walking distance.
We have thoroughly enjoyed Fiji, fallen in love with the friendly people, and the beautiful coral coast. I’ll miss the beautiful welcoming smiles and “bula’s!!!!” Every time we see someone. The hospitality of the people were definitely one of the highlights. You made us feel like family. What a brilliant place. Vinaka - we cannot wait to come back.

A nondescript little hotel with spacious clean rooms with great staff and an outstanding restaurant. Rooms have AC. Decent snorkeling (only at high tide, otherwise too shallow)- not a lot of healthy corals but quite a few fish that are fun to watch. Try not to get freaked out by all the snake sea cucumbers at the start, they can't move fast and are just filter feeders. Do day trips to the Sigatoka Sand Dunes and Naidiri marine biodiversity park (https://naidirimarinebiopark.org).

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at Bendarra Inn and would highly recommend. The staff were gorgeous, friendly and competent and went out of their way to make us feel relaxed and welcome.

The room was large, clean and suited us perfectly. We were not disappointed.

We relaxed by the pool, swam and snorkelled in the sea and breathed in the ambience.

We also tried quite a few of the local restaurants, which were excellent but found the food at Bendarra exceptional and value for money. Even if you are not staying here, make sure you book in for dinner.

Thanks you for such a ralxing stay, we will come back with our families!

The staff are second to none. They couldn't do enough for you. Its a lot quieter than the bigger resorts and way less kids. They now have TV'S which doesn't make much difference as we never worried about it before when they didn't. Happy hour is a good time and the coral beach out front is great. 10 to 15 dollar taxi into town ( Sigatoka) for any shopping if needed. Food is great and a spot called The Crab Shack just a walk away too. Enjoy a brilliant friendly small resort.

Nothing but positive things to say about the hotel & their lovely staff. Since we were checked in, we were greated with a nice drink and warm smiles. Spacious and clean, nice smelling room, AC worked great, good water pressure. Pool had a cool (not cold) temperature and quite a few chairs to hang around. The lovely private beach is always a plus. We used the snorkel equipment throughout our stay and the manager even lent me an adapter for my phone charger. Great customer service, book with these guys!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bedarra, ended up extending the stay a few more days. Ideally you will have a vehicle to move around (Sigatoka town is 10min drive) and not many dining options around. The bedroom was spacious, clean, and even had an extra bed. Upon checking in, we were greated with a yummy drink. Even tho the weather wasn't great (rainy, October) we still managed to do some nice snorkeling in the lagoon. They have added some safety flags so you don't reach a dangerous spot that can drag you to the ocean. We didn't try the restaurant but everything was 5 stars!

We loved our two night stay here. This lovely accomodation was beach front in a quiet location only 10 mins from Sigatoka. The service was excellent and the room was magnificent. We loved the spaciousness, especially the bathroom and the bedding was very comfortable. The garden and pool were all kept in lovely condition. A very special mention to the chef that did an excellent job of the meals in the restaurant.
Would highly recommend this place in the coral coast.

Bula fellow travellers! Bedarra Beach Inn is the perfect place to relax. It is peaceful, well-maintained and friendly. The beds and pillows are comfortable. It is SO clean. The staff know you by name by Day 2. The location, right on the beachfront, is perfect. I could look at the palm trees, that blue sky and swim or snorkel in the lagoon happily every day for the rest of the my life ( a warning about the sea snakes might have been good). It depends what you want from a holiday. It is 1.5 hours from the nearest airport,or 2 hours by local bus, so factor that in to your travel time.
Just a couple of small things. The safe in my room had a limited number of numbers available (it was dying), and the air-conditioning also malfunctioned, but was only temporarily repaired. The wifi extended all over the resort!
Free snorkel and flippers was great!
The food at the resort is very good, but for variety, there are only 4 local other options (without your own transport).
A cool breeze blows all the time, so there are no mosquitoes or flies. Heaven!
It's beauty lies in its remoteness on the Coral Coast. If you want a lot to do, then this is not the place to go, but if you want to soak up the sun, enjoy happy hour drinks with stunning sunsets, and read in peace, I can't recommend this place highly enough....

Excellent service from the woman staff and always very welcoming. The room assigned by the male receptionist was the worst i could think of. The TV and the safe did not work. The bathroom was outdated and black around the shower door and grouting. Room was very small and not enough space to move around. Spoke to the female receptionist after two days and she assigned a room to us that was good, spacious and everything worked.

The premium supreme room was spacious for our family of four. Wonderful beach view from our private balcony and we could hear the sea breeze day and night. Plenty of sea life in the sea across the quiet road from the resort. We enjoyed a walk along the beach and a beautiful sunset on our last day there. The resort is rated 3 star but I think it's more of a 4 star. Would recommend this over the big busy outrigger resort if you want a relaxing and peaceful holiday away from the big crowd.
