For families, but also couples, groups a perfect get-away. A 2 hour drive from Nadi airport, but gives a good view of the land. Resort spacious and lots of extra facilities to stay on the resort for 5 days. But also options to visit surrounding by taxi, van or bus. All inclusive a blessing with kids in the peak season. But without kids, I would have chosen to order from the menu. They are working on a extension of the beach. Not great for beachlife at this moment, but taking the kayak out is also lots of fun. Swimmingpool is great!

The good:
- Friendly and welcoming staff.
- Great views around the property and accessibility to the ocean.
- Kids club and many activities for them.
- Swimming pool and bar.
- Well equipped gym.

The bad:
- The room needed a makeover. It was antiquated and there wasn't enough lighting, needed new fixtures.
- The wifi coverage was extremely poor and was barely available in certain areas around the resort.
- Drinking water bottles weren't provided and had to be purchased or filled from the bar.
- The staff were overworked and the fatigue was visible in their service.
- The buffet food options were repetitive, bland and underwhelming at times.
- There weren't many options for indoor/ outdoor games for adults.
- At one point it seemed that the resort wasn't prepared or well equipped to accommodate or facilitate a high footfall of guests.
- The coral and sunset cruises were disappointing.

Fabulous resort. Definitely coming back. Stag simply superb. Only recommendations would be to add an adults only pool and another bar somewhere on the property. Rooms immaculate. Wifi great. Comfortable and spacious. We’ve been to Fiji about 19 times and this stay was top notch.

The Naviti is on 21 acres and has beautiful grounds. But if you are looking to be able to swim and snorkel off the beach into the crystal waters, don't stay here. Options are limited. We ended up at a resort down the road which had better snorkelling right off the beach.
If you stay by the pool, be prepared for blaring music most of the time. Thank God we were at the other end of the resort as the music drove us nuts at times. Not relaxing at all.

Rooms were clean and were serviced every day. Most staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our time here but we missed the snorkelling and swimming opportunities

Coming from America I was very disappointed in this property. It was like a scam upgraded to the all exclusive and nothing was all exclusive hamburgers. You had to pay extra pizza was extra bottom shelf liquor was extra to be honest this property really is not exclusive I will not be back I had to beg for face towels everyday this property, don’t have any entertainment for adults then on top of that I would charge the extra $10 for a community fee that I was not told about!!!! at this property is not one beach chair.At all only thing I can brag about is the people in the country they are nice!! Vary disappointed!!

Highly recommend Naviti resort for your next family holiday.

The venue was catered very well for families - the kids had endless activities including pool, beach volleyball, beach, table tennis, basketball, tennis, etc.

The all inclusive package was great and there were plenty of food options for all taste buds.

The facility had a reasonable gym too. The staff were absolutely fantastic with the adults and kids.

Only thing to note is several of the activities put on by the hotel has a small cost involved which caught us out a few times.

Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and will definitely stay here again in the future.

I have only 2 things that i think a 4 star property should be albe to sort these days. Protein for vegetarians, hardly any! 2 Water filling stations. Why get people to buy plastic water bottles ?? My daughter is vegetarian. I sent an email about it before our stay, but got no reply. THere was only 1 (!) meal she could have in the restaurants ( we were all inclusive) aqnd the buffet had salad, but eating chickpeas and red beans is not really nice every day for one week. I feel they need to up their game on that. I only had hot water in my taps in the room, had to go to get my water bottle filled from the bar tap. not impossible, but it could be done much better.
If there is an all inclusive, then make it all inclusive! Have a look at Club Med and see what they do. Annoying when they ask you if you want water, you say tap ( as it's fine to dring) then you get a bottle that they have already opened and have to pay for it. If I had known the vegetarian option was so miserable, I would have not gone all inclusive for my daughter, but bought her meals . Would not recommend it if you are vegetarian as the meals can get quite expensive every day. The only thing was at breakfast, she could have eggs. Otherwise the staff was very nice, everything was clean, good gym, didn't go in the pool, too many kids... went to a beach nearby which was nice. I have given 3 stars for the non veg option, but mostly because I saw a lot of plastic bottles being sold. Bad for environment

People were lovely and friendly. The adults ocean front cabin room bathtub was old and manky - not the deep soak as described, bathroom in need of renovation. Buffet food below average, poor quality. Restaurants were nice. Adult bar was nice. No other adult only section or pool. Reflecting this resort is so far away from airport and denaru, those were long travels. Next time I would stay closer - Coral coast islands out from denaru were great to see. The staff made a good point that rather than a 3am get up , we could have stayed the night at their sister hotel closer to the airport for a more humane start to the day. Resort grounds were ok, not much to see in the glass bottom off the coast of the resort. No decent beach - mostly mud bottom in front of hotel.

The property is true to the advertised photos which is great. It's beachside and has a very relaxing vibe. There was a range of activities that you can choose to participate in if you wish too.

The pool was always too packed that you could never get a lounge chair to just relax. Possibly investing in some extra chairs would be great.

There are no locks on the bathroom door which has wooden slates (not sound proof) which makes it super awkward if you are doing a poo 💩 when someone else is in the room.

Apart from the above mentioned, great experience we would come back again.

I suspect anyone else reading reviews on this property will have been confused; they vary so wildly. Expectation management is the key here. This is not a 5* resort: think 3* Spanish all-inclusive.
The lobby area is beautiful but once around the corner heading to the rooms, it is clear Naviti is lacking renovation investment. The rooms are ok but missing bits depending on which room you get. The grounds are beautiful but the pool needs shutting and totally renovating. There is no way it would still be open in Europe with the missing cement etc. Also to run out of towels by lunchtime is unacceptable.
The all-inclusive was very average. Food was rarely piping hot and the selection was limited. The drinks were ok but the rules petty. No cocktails, but you could have all the ingredients separately. No tea or coffee outside breakfast time; no bottles of water at all. Service was also very slow with a 50min wait one night.
We tried out both adults-only speciality restaurants which were included. Service was better but still chaotic. The Chinese was significantly better than the other.
One bright note was the staff in general: they must be the friendliest people on this planet. All operate on island time but they have the biggest smiles.
From our exposure to outside the resort, the cost of living is low in Fiji, so with a turnover in the region of half a million Fiji dollars a day, the resort owners can afford to spend some money on this resort and lift it up to 4* status.

I’d look elsewhere.

Coming from the US the flights arrive early in the morning and depart late at night. With that being said, the hotel could not make any accommodations for a late check out or early check in. Be prepared for some long downtime or perhaps try to do some sight seeing or excursions during these times. The “all inclusive” plan was disappointing to say the least. Food options were buffet, grill and a restaurant that were all just ok. Alcoholic drinks are served from 10am to 10pm. Local spirits with soft drinks, orange or pineapple juice, sparking wine, a couple other wines and 2 local beers that were pretty lousy imo. You will have to sign for every drink ordered and meal consumed which makes the process a bit more tedious then previous all inclusives we have stayed at. We were there for a wedding and even a the reception we had to sign for drinks. The ocean water at the resort is brown due to a breakwater. Take a 5 minute walk outside the resort and you will find the blue water you are expecting in Fiji. Our favorite part was the staff and locals outside of the resort. EVERYONE in Fiji are so pleasant and nice. 9/10 locals would greet you with an exuberant Bula!

This is most definitely a family resort, don’t expect peace and quiet.
Staff not too friendly at check in. We had to wait quite a while for our room to be ready and they demanded a $250 deposit be paid by credit card even though there was no mention of this previously.
The Meke (Tuesday evenings entertainment) was very good but Mondays was more for the kids.
Worth paying for breakfast to be included, it was a help yourself buffet but had a great selection to choose from.
Waited over 45 minutes for our drinks at dinner, we had finished eating by the time they arrived. I had to leave my meal to find a staff member then wait for them to finish sorting someone’s bill before asking again if we could get them.
Room was of a good standard, clean enough but a long walk to reception.

My 10yo son and I enjoyed our stay, mostly using the pool. The disappointment was the all inclusive package had too many exceptions which wasn't clear before actually experiencing the resort. Combined with the long drive we wouldnt come back. The staff were very friendly and tried hard but overall we'll try somewhere different next time.

The weather stopped us from doing a couple of things, but it did not detract from our stay.
I would say all inclusive in the way forward and i would recommend this place to anyone.

the all inclusive package is a crock. not worth the money.
limited drinks, limited menu at restaurants (2). food terrible.
this is not a resort that I would like to go to again. Hardly any entertainment. One restaurant closed for renovations, Mosquitoes will eat you alive. Numerous other things not good or too long to list.
Please note I have travelled a lot around the world and this was the worst.
Paid big money and got a big 0.
Advertised as a 4-star resort. at most a 3 star and that is an exaggeration.

STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS! Stay away from this property! This property is full of scammers. It felt like they will do everything within their capacity to make sure you have a terrible experience. First, we had booked a King suite ocean view room. They had \"categorized\" a room that had no ocean view as an \"ocean view\" room. Just because it was categorized as an ocean view room in their system, they gave us the room. When we asked them there was no ocean view, they gave the option of moving to a queen ocean view room but were not willing to refund the difference in the room price. When we requested to at least give us meal vouchers during the stay to make up for part of the difference, they were not willing to do it. Additionally, the resort servicing team showed no empathy for our situation and was extremely rude in their response. The service in the restaurants were terrible. They took their own time to deliver the food. They also missed one of our food orders and try to charge us for it. Worst yet, someone else has used our room number and successfully purchased $100 worth of drinks which the resort tried to charge to us. They don't even check if people are misusing room numbers and try to pass along the charges to someone else. SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESORT! There are many good resorts in the area that provide much better service! This has got to be the worst resort in Fiji! Stay away!!!

Facilities were a bit dated and didn’t appear as nice as on the photos. The food and beverage catered to Western tastes - so no authentic, fresh Fijian food except on one night of the week. The food was cheap and highly processed. The alcohol and cocktails were cheap and practically undrinkable - full of colours and sugary additives. Wine list left much to be desired. So much noise coming from the pool and overall not a very relaxing experience.

Staff were lovely except for the older ones that never smile. Very under staffed at reception, waited so long. The rooms are very outdated and in need of a facelift. Ants were so bad near the coffee making area, in the bath all over our toothbrushes and even in our bed. Asked staff to spray but they never did. We got all inclusive buffet and drinks but there is so many things you can’t have like cocktails. I believe it should be any drinks. Food was so overcooked and very basic foods with bugs on it. Couldn’t go to the kids section because it’s not for adults. That’s wrong they had foods that I would have liked it should be for all. We had to pay an extra $80 each adults for Christmas lunch which I thought was a bit to much. Paid for all 7 of us at check in with our hotel costs. Checked a couple days later to see if our 3 room accounts were $0 they said we have to pay for Christmas lunch. Showed them the receipts and they said they fixed it up. On check out still saying we owed 7 x $80 for Christmas lunch.
I was furious by this stage. I’m home now and hoping I don’t receive a email saying we still owe. Reception are so under staff that it took 45 minutes to check out. I was so disappointed with this hotel as it was planned to have Christmas with family and everyone was so unhappy with their rooms and food. Would not recommend.

One of the best holidays ever due to our experience at Naviti. Genuinely felt like leaving family behind when we left. Beautiful grounds, great views of the ocean, reef views nearby, lots of planned complementary activities, awesome pool with swim up bar, really good food at the buffet restaurant, and the best staff- warm, friendly and caring. Great for families with kids with kids club available throughout the day and fun activities for them to look forward to every night. Great cultural performances after dinner on multiple nights during the week. Special mention to Vijay the restaurant manager who's customer service is exemplary, and also to Sera, Jo and Maria at kids club, Naomi at reception, housekeeper Mila, super warm and friendly porter Mua, Maan Singh from landscaping who got us fresh coconuts straight from the trees. The activities staff are super talented, and are instrumental in making your stay fun and worthwhile-special mention to Parma, Bless, Saki. The village behind the resort is a very convenient and cheap alternative for activities like hair braiding, massage, souvenir shopping, horse riding etc. We stayed at a couple of other 5 star resorts in Fiji as well but Naviti clearly stood out. Highly recommend and would love to go back.

Naviti Resort policy is unacceptable, as is general management and administration. It is physically a nice place, in good condition, BUT: .. Having already spent AUD$1300 to book, on arrival, they damand a FJD$250 credit card deposit. Even if/when they refund it [they say we should see our money within 7 days], we will be out of pocket due to transaction fees in both directions. On checkout this morning, close inspection of the bill included expenses from 2 WEEKS BEFORE we even checked in! Their accountant should be sacked, and manager replaced. It is a real dissapointment to a holiday, when you pay for a fancy resort, and you have to deal with incorrect and irresonsible financial issues of the establishment. I recommend travellers avoid The Naviti and Warwick Resorts.

We have been many many times and previously LOVED this resort. The new management is not improving it - it is making it worse - rooms are dated - noting has been updated in 15 years, badly understaffed, our room wasn’t serviced once - the poor housekeeping team arriving to service at 4pm - they changed out our towels but the room wasn’t cleaned once, the all inclusive has had many changes not for the better, food was very average, beautiful warm Fijians seem overworked and unhappy - heartbreaking changes to our beloved naviti!!!!

The experience for us was quite disappointing compared to the reviews we’d read…

The all inclusive package is for certain drinks; quite a lot of exclusions such as cranberry mixers, milk (for the children), and very long wait times.
Every time I went to order either my drink was forgotten, or it was a minimum 25 minutes per drink. This is a very long time with children.

The staff were grumpy.. really not very many smiles, and I was ignored at the bar & restaurant multiple times.
My children queued for icecream and were denied because they were 8 minutes past the cut off timing.
This is not the Fiji welcome or hospitality we were expecting to be honest.

The food was very basic; bones in everything, mostly slow cooker meals with the same thing repeating multiple times. There was not much on offer for the kids; no lunch menu for children provided as the package, so we’d have to find something they could eat. No chips at all (every child’s staple, surely, and very cheap and easy to provide).
Our stay was outside of school holidays and yet it was SO busy and SO crowded.
The restaurant was a chaotic noise trap with people everywhere, messy tables, no cutlery or crockery to be found, a band playing (not sure why, it just added to the chaos) took ages for staff to provide what you’d requested.
The mei meis wernt engaging and barely smiled. We asked for a different one (Aggie or Anisha) but was told we got who was available.
The grounds are nice. Pool is good for kids.

The Naviti offers a very basic resort experience, which is reflected by the price. This is not a 5 star experience, and the rooms and facilities are pretty dated and in need of renovations. The staff are lovely though, the food is reasonable, and the location is pretty. It’s a long drive from Nadi and Denaru though, so consider that if you have little kids that don’t like long drives or if you’re planning on doing day trips.

The Naviti is perfect for families with young children. Our kids love the kids club, the evening events and sports available. The new rooftop bar is a great place to hang out too.

The all inclusive package is great, but they have changed the option of putting the order through the Grill.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly the programs during the day time and in the evening were fun to do.
It was unfortunate that my daughter couldn't attend the kids club she was a few months away from being 5.
Overall it was a nice and enjoyable stay.

Great value. You truly get a lot for what you pay for the all inclusive. However, the all inclusive is not really 'all inclusive', be certain to familiarise yourself with what is and isn't included. Bar staff are very slow and this gets very frustrating very quickly. Half the staff are very friendly and the other half seem like interacting with you is a chore. Everything starts late and time is treated as more of a concept. If you know this going in you will likely have a better time as you are prepared.

The resort itself was wonderful and We had a great time. The only problem we had was with my booking with Orbitz. I booked all inclusive but when we arrived it was a standard booking. Just free breakfast. But that didn't stop us from having a great time. \"No worry, no hurry\" we were on Fiji time. Would stay there again! Vinaka!

We had a fantastic stay here! The property is lovely but the staff are the stars, always so friendly and incredibly helpful. We had an issue in our room and a staff member was over to fix it quickly and efficiently. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean, and with pools and the beach who really needs to spend time in their room?

All the activities were fun, we particularly liked the snorkelling and the kayaking. You should be prepared to ‘go with the flow’ with your activities here - things will change depending on tides, how busy the boat is, etc.

Dining options are fairly limited but don’t underestimate the night time buffet - the themes are different every night. If you do the all inclusive try to schedule dinners at the other restaurants around the buffet nights that are less exciting to you.

Overall, we had an awesome stay and plan to be back!

We had a great time at Naviti with our 2 children aged 11 and 9. Pool was great and plenty to do. The all inclusive suited our needs and while a little confusing initially, we were got the hang and details quickly. Food simple but diverse, always something to suit all our family.
Would only note we had a room close to the pool and entertainment area, where they do shows and disco most nights, so music was pretty loud until after 11. Ask for a room further from the action if you have small sleepers or want to rest early.

very disappointing

Very expensive and over rated place that really needs renovating. The all inclusive package is by all means not all inclusive and there are significant restrictions on the package and very limited menu choices. Pool in a tropical resort closes at 6pm and many other activities are not included in the all inclusive package. Food choices are very bland and we and a number of others came down with gastro during the stay. The first room we were given had a broken bed, non functioning aircon, broken TV cable - after considerable waiting and requesting we were given a second room in the \"newer\" left wing. Internet is very sporadic and works intermittently but does not work outside of the room. Local staff members are very friendly but it is very clear that the money spent for all inclusion is not good value at all considering what you can get at the Resort. Kids under 12 might stay free but this is clearly built into the cost for adults staying meaning the \"stay free\" is a bit of a con. Definitely would not stay again and experience of the resort detracts us from visiting Fiji again

Overall, a great resort. Large property in a beautiful setting. Very family friendly with activities throughout the day. Important to understand which activities/services are/are not included without all-inclusive package. Activities seem to be well distributed across age groups. Limited beach, and typical beach activities very limited depending on tide schedules, I.e., low tide = few water activities. Resort makes up for this with a large pool and pool activities throughout the day. Food is adequate and typical resort food with quiet, finer dining options available. Some scheduled activities randomly cancelled, and locations of activities not clearly posted. Rooms are dated but spacious with nice views of the beautiful gardens or ocean. Air conditioning works well, so sleeping very comfortable. Music is performed throughout the resort and throughout the day—even at breakfast! This is a great resort, especially for families with younger children.

Just returned from a fabulous holiday at Naviti Resort. Beautiful grounds, clean rooms, great activities. Staff brilliant with the kids who loves the kids club. Good food at the buffet although chips and nuggets wouldve been great for any children who are picky eaters as it is all pretty adult type fare. They do have a kids section for food but my picky eater didnt like any of it and lived on bread rolls and watermelon and we all know most kids love nuggets. Groan. It annoys us dont worry! Our other child eats everything. Very happy with our choice of resort. Drinks were great, pool was great! Definitely go for the allinclusive package!

Fantastic family holiday at Naviti. We really valued the all inclusive. Food was buffet options but changed each day with a ‘theme’ for dinner. There was always a more child friendly section with pizzas/burgers/pasta. Kids loved 3 ice creams a day!! Pool bar and main bar house beer/wine and basic spirits included. Pool is great, activities throughout the day and evening entertainment. Very much a family resort and our 6 and 9 year old really made the best of it!

Dining Options, staff friendliness, view drom the room. Sometimes you have to ask for the same things again, like room service orders, housekeeping related things, but nothing major. What ciuld be improved is that the hotel should also understand not everyone comes there for all inclusive package, as soon as you tell them you are not all inclusive, lots of confusion, different information from every staff. That was the biggest thing for us.

Beautiful location and staff were friendly most of the time. Had a pair of bathers taken with the towels on cleaning one day and was unable to get them back. Hard to get into activities in the day time and some staff weren’t as friendly because we weren’t all inclusive guests. Music was very loud at night in the room - went until 10:30/11 with kids club and resort activities.
A nice stay and great for kids! A few things to improve on.

Too much flies during breakfast and the WiFi connection is very very bad. You have to reconnect like every 15 mins and it becomes bery hard to communicate with anyone. House keeping very slow on cleaning homes and not providing enough supplies like bath towels and gand towels.

I wound never stay at the Naviti again.

I got so sick from the buffet. I had to go to hospital, and I found a number of other guests already there. I was so sick I needed IV antibiotics and fluid. The hospital staff believe it must be contaminated food. The worst part was that the Naviti resort didn’t care at all. I had to pay for my own taxi to the hospital, and I had to leave the resort due to illness that they caused, and the resort would not refund a cent. I am so traumatised by my experience here that I don’t think I will ever return to Fiji. I had been to Fiji a number of times before this and stayed at the shangri-la and loved it. I would never, ever reccomend the Naviti. Not just because I got sick, sometime these things do happen. But also because of the subsequent absolute absence of support in an international location when I was gravely ill.
