GREAT place to stay, we have stayed here atleast 4-5 occasions and it’s always good, The staff super friendly with Hasina taking care of us along with her staff. Rooms are clean and with plenty of space for family of 4-5. Huge pool and they just opened a chill restaurant at the hotel w/drinks available for all. Close by pizza, stir fry, gas station and covient supermarket. It’s a relax spot to hang out for a day or 2, btw there is a jetty within walking distance to getup close for viewing fish,,,,,
Well worth the money!!!!

excellent staff services, friendly, the property is in good conditions, pool is clean, room are spacious, need some renovations, restaurants and market in walking distance, access to the beach and club requires cross the road, conditions of both are poor, dirty, dogs and horses around, not recommended to visit.

Amazing value. The pool is huge! The unit was also large. Easily accommodated 12 for dinner (we travelled with extended family and had 3 units but got together for some meals) and bedrooms were very spacious. Everything was really clean. Lots of food options close too - we enjoyed the West Grill, Diner, Chinese, coffee shop and waffle place (who made my daughter's birthday very special), and used the supermarket and vege stall too. Stay away from the indian place down the road opposite the pier. We walked to the beach across the road and down the stream and then along the beach to snorkel off the pier. The Pink Spa was also great - between the group we had braids, manicures, pedicures, massages - all great value.

A lovely and well presented set of villas right next to spa, dining, groceries and fuel. Across the road from beach with some additional on beach facilities. Nice big pool and quite deep. Great for tall people but requires watchful eye on kids. A very nice balance of local and tourist community.

This was a lovely self catering place to stay with an elderly person. Accommodation was very clean and nothing was a problem if we asked for it. Would recommend to anyone wanting quiet, self catering options although the restaurants and the spa facilities were great too.

The Villas aren't perfect. I'm sure with any place there are things you can find that make you in particular happier (kittens to play with) or unhappy (not really on the beach, no internet in apartments). But, for the price it's a full apartment with amazing people and everything you need.

The only thing I'd really put that was somewhat negative is check-in wasn't smooth. I had to find the person in the back, and then was told I needed the deposit in cash immediately and she would bring me to the ATM, which was a little un-Fijian considering we were hot after a long car ride.

Have just got back from a short stay here with the family for two days. Whenever we visit Sigatoka we usually book a hotel however as there were a few of us, we decided on a villa style apartment.

The villas themselves I would recommend for a short stay. They have everything you will need if wanting to cook , cooker microwave fridge and cooking pot pans and utensils. There is a tv and clean towels are provided daily. I have to mention there is no WiFi within the villas however the villas are next to a diner which does provide WiFi, this is open until 8pm. Although the villas themselves are in a quiet setting there is a supermarket and petrol station as well as a spa/beauty parlour next door to the villas.

We were greeted by some really amazing staff. The property manager Hasina was extremely courteous and helpful throughout our entire stay. She was always checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed and was able to accommodate any requests we had. She was a pleasure to meet and made us extremely comfortable throughout our stay.

We would also like to thank Elenoa for her hospitality and kindness during our stay. Again nothing was too much to ask for and she always ensured we were ok and would check up on us regularly. The staff here are some of the kindest and most friendly we have met and for that reason we would consider returning here for another short stay.

This property surprised me on how beautiful and comfortable it was. It’s near the ocean and near supermarkets. I really enjoyed my stay here. Enjoyed my morning tea on the balcony. Would highly recommend it.

The villa is spacious and clean. We really appreciated having a separate bedroom for our child and a kitchen to prepare some of our own meals to save some money. The gardens are beautiful, and the pool is in a lovely garden setting which is easy to access with lounges and umbrellas. The staff are very helpful. Plenty of parking. The beach on Maui Bay is close by and very picturesque with lots of tropical fish to see in the shallow water. Very convenient to have the supermarket and an Italian restaurant so close.

A great place with the self contained villas/units, just like a 2brm flat, large lounge/kitchen area plus the balcony overlooking the pool.Very spacious, 5 of us (all adults)stayed there.Does have a fantastic beach-side bar and club which we missed out on trying out, for lack of time.Next time! Driven past it many times before, should have stayed here!Will stay again.Nice staff-all of them.Food at the Diner is delicious.You gotta try this place.

Great local spot outside the typical tourist resorts. The staff were lovely - we had use of the on site pool, and a beach front pool as well. Great spot to spend 10 days. Would recommend a rental car to allow for easy exploration.

Incredible personal service and well maintained.

My family stayed with Blue West Villas for Christmas and we were treated to the most amazing day of feasting, dancing and cultural celebration. Kids and adults all spending a wonderful time together hosted by the gorgeous staff.

When a cyclone prevented us from leaving we felt very safe and well taken care of for the extra three days. My family felt safe and were even treated to some lessons on home cooking of local produce in our own villa. Staff treated us like family and we were sad to say goodbye.
Thank you Blue West staff for our very special Christmas.

By far and away, the staff is superb. Kinny and Loma and Micah and truthfully I could list everyone by name and I would run out of space... Suffice to say, they are the VERY perfect example of Fijian hospitality. Furthermore: The reef is a short walk across the street to the clubhouse/beach house where there is a second pool and lounge, the pools are sparkling clean, the grounds are manicured neatly and very well kept, the rooms are stocked with everything you would need (just bring your own food, clothes and personals), air-con is cold, stove and fridge are great, hot water always available, we wanted for nothing. If I HAD to have something added...I would have wanted bigger coffee mugs and larger bowls (for soups and curries that we made). Oh, and I wish the kitchen wasn't being remodeled when we were there, because the breakfast we did have was great, so I am sure the full menu options which \"will be\" available by the time this is posted...will be awesome. =)

We booked this property because of the layout of the apartment. As a small family traveling for a few months we wanted a bit of space. We also liked the Maui Bay Area, a nice beach within a 5 minute walk, snorkeling right off the beach, a nice little grocery beside the hotel. WE WILL NOT RETURN to this hotel though as there are no regulations on how many people stay in a two bedroom unit. We saw as many as 14 people staying in the unit beneath us and 10 beside us. Showing up with 5 cases of beer each night and ridiculous levels of noise and partying all throughout the night. There was no one monitoring the property to keep things from getting out of control. People sent up stereos and yelled and partied at the pool even past 4 in the morning. We brought up the issue at the front desk and we’re told “oh so sorry, we’ll take care of that.” But the reality is that nothing was done to remedy the issue it’s just the kind of place they run. We we’re especially bothered by the drunk local men that gathered around the pool and in-front of the units in the early hours of the morning. Definitely did not make us feel safe. We were woken all throughout the night with yelling and left exhausted. Other issues that were of concern - the pool tiles were coming up and sliced up our feet, and we felt like we were reacting to mold in the AC units.

We had an overnight stay at Blue West Villas on our way from Nadi to Suva. Ben and the rest of the staff looked after us very well, including arranging horse riding for my sister, providing excellent advice on where to eat, and providing fins for snorkelling. We would have liked to stay longer!

we spent 2 days in this hotel, the rooms are quite clean and well equiped , the pool is really a big one.. You will have real Windows in your room , so you can sleep in the morning even better using Aircon ( not so commun in fiji). value for price ratio is good . The wifi works well .
The area is not so perfect , hotel is near gas station and a supermarket and you have a road to cross to go to the beach so during the day it is a bit Noisy, small problems not really anoying.

Was following directions to access beach through a sister property when ordered by the racist owner to use this beach as it was a private property. I was the only one asked if I stayed there , the only colored person present when none of the other guests (all white)were. I noticed the manager who was totally apologetic but the damage was done. Clonclusion . Ok place if you are white but stay away if local or colored.

Lovely stay with good snorkeling.

We had a great stay at the Blue West Villas. We stayed for 7 nights and were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a grocery store right next door which was super convenient. We opted to have their continental breakfast every morning delivered to our room.

The bed was very comfortable; not too hard. There was a good selection of tv channels that came in very clear. We did have our kitchen sink back up once and the power cut out once, but these were quickly fixed.

One description I read says the beach is right across the road. This is not quite true. There is a wall right across the road. To get to the beach, you have to go to an opening in the wall about 1 block down. Then, you will walk about 5 houses further and you will come to a club house. You can access the beach through the club house. The club house is available for use and it has its own swimming pool. We used the pool at the club house more than the one at the villas because the villas' pool is 2 deep.
Anyway, there is good snorkeling at the beach. The tide is high in the morning and noon, and goes out (low) on the evenings. When it gets low, you can't snorkel. But, during high tide, the water is crystal clear and there are many fish and coral formations to look at. Also, you can go to the pier, about a block further, and swim and snorkel off the end of that. There are stairs that go down into the water.

Maui Bay is a nice quiet location. Plenty of local transport to Sigatoka town. Good coffee and cheap restaurant in town.very friendly and hospitalable locals. Warm ocean waters and sunny paradise.

Remote location but spacious rooms

Rooms and villas very large and spacious. Perfect for families. Pool was great. Great views from the balcony. Cleanliness a little questionable with the odd cockroach. The hot water was inconsistent and annoying.

Fairly remote but amazing location so better if you have a rental car, we used public transport which stops out the front (just travel time to get anywhere is longer). Has a supermarket and service station out the front which was handy.

Would stay again as it was good value and stunning location with out the hustle of the cities.

This review need room for suggestions. I would like to highly recommend more hooks behind doors and towel rails in bathroom. I would also like some bowls to eat out of as the current ones are far too small and some more cooking implements eg small and middle size bowls, a whisk and a cake tin
It would be good to understand what duties the cleaning ladies are supposed to do each day and when they will come. A list would be very useful.
