Ive known the warick since it was known as the Hyatt. So its been around for a while.
And rooms and property has been maintained to to high standard for its age.
The staff are great as per usual.

Love this resort the staff are beautiful especially Ame, sarleen, wame, Sala ratu,the porters are all so friendly these people make me come back every year which I just got back for the 8th time. Daniel near the gym is so friendly aswell kids love him his fun and joins in with the game area good vibe.
The cocktails and food are all so good but pricey same as Australia sometimes more.
The renovated rooms are beautiful glad they started to renovate the rooms.
The spa is so beautiful they do the best massages I’ve ever had very expensive but relaxing I get every year for our anniversary with hubby in a couples room.
The sports bar looks amazing with a big screen inside which is awesome as us from Australia love watching the footy every Thurs Friday sat and Sunday night. The only thing I suggest to the boss is to put the singers back to infront of the sunset bar again as there more visible everyone can see them outside when walking around the resort they can get a drink from the bar and listen to there beautiful voices not hidden away inside the sports bar as not everyone goes inside here.

To the owner of the resort I recommend highly the singers to go back and sing infront of the sunset bar as more people are walking past there and will see them more instead of having them inside of the sports bar infront of the big screen there that looks amazing and us from Australia love watching the footy Thurs Friday and sat nights and can’t as the singer is right in front of the screen.
Love the renovated rooms they look so much better and smell better less mould then the old rooms.

The employees were wonderful! Can't say enough about how friendly everyone was, especially Ma at the Bar, Chelly, the whole staff at the Wicked Walu, and Kini who cleaned our room. Only issue we had was at the Japanese restaurant both times we ate there. 1st night they forgot 2 people's entrees. We had to ask 3 times for them. 2nd night they delivered our drinks and appetizer after we finished our entrees. We ordered water and some cocktails. We were getting ready to leave. There was no apology, just a blank look from the head cashier. I would recommend never eating there, food was also sub par. Everything else was great.

We turned up and it took over an hour to check in because there was an issue with our room. Once in our room, the bathroom was dirty with hairs and sticky smudge marks and the joining room had some sort of spilt milk all over the floor making the room smell foul. After discussing with staff we were moved but lost the joining rooms and were placed in separate rooms on different sides of the hallway, which was a problem as we were travelling with4 kids, 2 small kids and an older daughter with autism made it tricky with separate rooms. My husband and I ended up having to be in separate rooms .This definitely left us feeling disappointed, especially on a family holiday.

Food was so overpriced and very average.

Pool water was dirty and our daughter ended up watching the a staph infection.

Staff were absolutely beautiful. Duty manager Seru was amazing. Restaurant staff were happy, kind and always helpful .

The beach was beautiful, absolutely stunning.

overall good and nice place to stay although I would recommend that people go full board as the food and drinks are very expensive and unless you hire a car there is not much choice locally within walking distance, otherwise it has most things you need. Servicing the rooms was a bit slow but it might have been to short staffing over xmas. All the staff are friendly.

The whole facility was dated and falling apart, every chair I sat on felt like it was about to collapse and loads of broken and loose tiles in the kids pool which is dangerous, food very mediocre and massively overpriced for what it is, definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

We enjoyed relaxing around the pool and upstairs bar. The activities provided were awesome to spectate and enjoy.

The gym facilities were top quality. The air hockey could do with renewing it's showing age and wear and tear.
The professionalism and friendliness of the staff was exceptional and this alone will encourage us to return again.

Everything was perfect. Rooms spacious and clean, lots of activities, beautiful scenery.....
All the staff were amazing and would do anything to help.
The only feedback I have is please get the cats desexed and flea treated and wormed.
The lovely dog too. I spent a good few hours stroking it.
I could go on but really there was nothing to fault at all.

The balcony had a beautiful view over the gardens to the sea. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with many many choices. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There were many activities available if you chose like weaving, tie dying… and during the evening most evenings a show, like island dancing, fire dancing, island singing… and… I really liked it was quiet by 10pm.

The resort was nice, snorkelling was amazing and the staff were very friendly. It is a bit of a drive from the airport (2 hours) and not easy to do day trips from as Port Denarau is an hour and half away. They were renovating the adults only section which did not have any impact to us. The only fault we had was the beds were terrible very uncomfortable and need to be updated.

Please note it is a 2 hour taxi from the airport but the Coral Coast is amazing.
As of Aug 25 the resort is being renovated (which it needs) but the facilities and staff were fab.

Bar and dining is very expensive. Air conditioning in the room very noisy. The lounge chair cushions are dirty. Jacuzzi not hot enough and the water was brown and a bit smelly. The speakers at the pool bar were in poor condition resulting in a lot of distortion when the music was loud. All small things but otherwise a very nice resort and we will definitely like to come back.

the Wicked Walu seafood restaurant is a must do, food is excellent and location divine. if you don’t want an organised day out local express buses stop at the top of the entrance drive on the roadside and are great value. for adults there is an adult only pool and three happy hours a day on offer

This is not a 5-star hotel.

I never normally do reviews. Before I do, I just want to say that the staff were great and tried their very best.

This is a management/ownership issue, the resort is tired and run down. This was a family holiday with 12 of us split over 6 rooms.

1. Booked 6 x rooms (3 x Qu/Sgl + 3 x Dbl/Dbl). This was important because of the people we had travelling. We also requested in advance that two of the rooms to be interconnecting which was confirmed that this would be planned into the scheduling. Arrived (1am) to learn we had 5 x Queen/Single, 1 x Double/Double, no interconnecting rooms and spread all over the resort, not near each other. Told fully booked, nothing could be done. Too tired to argue.

2. We ended up getting shifted after two days to an interconnecting room (took us a couple of goes to get that sorted). Later that day, had to be shifted from that interconnecting room to another interconnecting room as that one had plumbing issues. The second interconnecting room had no hot water and had to get that sorted out too.

3. Multiple rooms without TV channels working.

4. Multiple instances of having to go up and order because no one was serving us or around to take our order.

5. Some of our other rooms had plumbing issues.

6. Apart from teppanyaki and wicked walu had to pre-order our dinner meals for the restaurants. On arrival, it all came out straight away (entrees and mains) and most instances overcooked.

Not 5-star hotel standard.

The hotel is nice but already a bit old and needs some maintenance for a five star resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a great beach with a separate snorkelling area where you can discover a lot of colourful fish.
The breakfast buffet is average, the dinner buffet is expensive for what you get and the drinks at the bars as well.
In total it was okay for us and the kids.

A pleasant location to lie on a sunbed for a couple of hours staring out at the reef break. Everybody is friendly and remembers names.
The hill hike was great. My room was ocean view...decent size and a 45 deg outlook over the pool to the water. Steakhouse was a fave dining spot. Absolutely no hassles and had an enjoyable time.

The pools are also not so clean especially the family pool area where it seems to be the most fun, but the pool was so dirty. The restaurants are amazing, the lobby and everything outside are so nice but deceiving because the rooms are disappointing

The resort was AMAZING! Such lovely friendly warm people working there. In particular Pita and Stefano at the front to assist and welcome.
Staff at adults pool bar were lovely. Adults pool was beautiful and quiet and a great side to stay. Renovations will look great and did not impact our stay with noise etc, all being done well. Only complaint is the reservations supervisor on 20 May when my partner and I tried to check out. The process took over an hour and he would have to be one of the most arrogant, rude and disrespectful people I’ve come across. I had 2 reservations in my name, one for myself and partner for 10 nights, one for a friend and her partner for 7 nights. At checkout he acknowledged the 2 bookings but said my friends checked out 3 nights early and we overstayed by 3 nights. We explained numerous times our friends that checked out after 7 nights as per one booking and we were checking out after 10 nights as per the second booking. He insisted his claim of the early check out and over stay. Something which was so obvious to anybody he would not listen to. It took over an hour before he finally acknowledged what had occurred yet at no time offered an apology for the manner in which he treated us. Such a huge disappointment to what was otherwise a fantastic holiday

Absolutely enjoyed my trip and my stay at the Warwick. Beautiful resort and location. Rooms were a little tired but accurately reflected in photos when booking so not complaining. In the process of being renovated so no doubt will look great. Adult only pool was lovely and quiet to relax and enjoy the break. Staff were beautiful, friendly and helpful with the exception of the reservations supervisor on 20 May. Our check out experience has left a very bad memory on what was a great holiday. I had 2 rooms booked in my name, one for 10 nights for my partner and I and one for my friends for 7 nights. We clarified this at check in and paid our bills accordingly. It came to our attention half way thru we had been put in the wrong rooms which we thought we fixed with reception. When checking out on the 20th we were told we overstayed 3 nights and had additional charges. The supervisor acknowledged the 2 bookings but insisted the other couple checked out early and had a credit on their account and we overstayed and had to pay extra. He blamed external booking for making the incorrect bookings. It took over an hour for him to see what we were explaining about the 2 bookings and the mistake was the Warwick and not Expedia. At no time were my friends informed of this apparent credit. It was lucky we had time before our transfer to the airport to sort it but it was still extremely frustrating. Even when the mistake was realised and corrected no apology was offered for the inconvenience.

The staff at the Warwick Fiji are second to none!! Extra friendly & helpful with huge smiles at all times. We stayed in a renovated room, it was lovely, roomy & clean, & air conditioned too.The food was great, especially at the Steakhouse & Wicked Walu. Beautiful location for swimming in the lagoon, lots of trips to take part in or relax of you prefer. We went in scholl holidays so the adults only pool was a haven from out of control children but did notice the activities staff putting on heaps of things to keep the kids entertained. The hotel also held a moving ANZAC ceremony attended by the local police. Would absolutely stay again!!! Bula!!
