Very good price and staff is very respectful, attentive and kind. Rooms are decent, it has a mini fridge, microwave, tv, Free Wifi, coffee machine, rooms have USB charging ports, (if ppl don't steak them) Overall my experience has been good

When am up north and need a quick affordable place to rest and get going early morning, this is the place I book, there is a few stores close by too and a small bar/casino next to it....

It was Not returned. Not logged in the lost and found.

The young man who checked me in was absolutely a breathe of great l fresh air from the staff at the neighboring hotel the heritage inn. He was friendly understanding and he seemed to understand how one might be feeling getting evacuated and displaced from their home. Above and beyond to help make an extremely stressful situation as manageable as he could. He seemed genuine and wanting to help in any way he could. Understanding it was unexpected and not really an expense I could afford he even waived the security deposit so I didn't have to worry about coming up with it to just have it returned when I leave. You never forget the ones who jump in to help you when life throws you a curve ball. Compassion for his fellow humanity is the type of character i love you see working the face of a company. This property is awful. The first room they put us in, had hair all over the bed spread, the fridge was dirty, broken and full of water. The 2nd room was better, but not by much. The entire building is old and dirty. There was a homeless women hanging out in the lobby the evening we checked in. There were men doing drugs by the dumpster one morning. I do not recommend staying here. The breakfast was limited and not good.

staff gave me issue with my dog alone in the property while I was out to get a haircut. i was gone for about 20-30 min, front desk staff stated my dog was barking and neighbors were complaining. The house keeper was on the same floor and when I ask her, she stated that my dog was not barking as reported to me. my dog is well behaved and house trained, i shared this with the hotel prior to checking in. I was also not aware that i was not allowed to leave my dog alone. this policy was not shared with me before checking in. i checked in for over 2 weeks for a temporary work at the hospital. i’ve never had this issue with other hotels where i stayed for a lot longer. front desk staff also brought up to my attention that i gave their hotel a bad review due to a dirty microwave that was not cleaned before i checked in. this was true so i wasn’t sure if he wanted me to lie about it. how about insuring rooms are clean prior to having guest check in instead of harassing guest for a bad review. btw fridge was also dirty.

Pros- This was a really nice place to stay for sea feast weekend. Located right off the freeway with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. (although I take the car plenty of disabled parking available. Unfortunately, the disabled rooms were not available so I ended up in the standard room which I knew in advance. The toilet was incredibly low, but there was room to get the chair in. My son’s bed was near the air conditioner/heater and was firm. Mine was near the bathroom and I nearly sank to the floor on it was so soft. Water pressure was fine. Soap and shampoos provided. It was clean. Front desk staff was laid-back and friendly.
Cons- had to get help twice for the toilet and it never was completely flushing correctly by the time we left. In order to latch the front door you had to lift it up by the handle in order to line up the hinges so it would fit in the door frame. Made it very difficult to lock the door, but I had a 450 pound wheelchair blocking the doorway so I wasn’t too worried but definitely something I hope that can be resolved. The tall mini freezer fridge unit was completely iced over in the freezer so it made it difficult to fit anything in there, but at least I knew it got cold.

Breakfast was lots of bread, fruit, yogurt, sausages, and hard-boiled eggs and waffles. Not too shabby, considering what a lot of hotels do now. We appreciated it.

The front wss being repaired so we had to enter throught the side.Walked into the room, there was a musty smell and the carpet was dirty. Went to the front desk and requested a refund. I was informed that the policy is that they do not do refunds if requested within 24 hours of check in date. The pictures on the website did not do it justice, it looked nothing like it. It was terrible!

The Bellis Fair mall was very close we enjoyed the shopping. A very quiet place with very pleasant and comfortable rooms. We were happy that we had satellite TV with close captions including many channels. A/C and heating made our stay very comfortable. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The carpet was moist walking in, the ceiling above shower was broken. The room smelled of urine. My husband looked under bed due to door being open to check for anything and there was garbage and rolled up toilet paper under. We arrived super late and it was the last room as we were just passing by. Not worth it the beds were like laying on the floor with flat pillows.

Was very disappointed on our stay. It was only for a night, however, when we got to our room it smelled like stale smoke mixed with damp carpets. Very unpleasant.
We could hear the people above us and beside us clearly. In the morning, when the people above had a shower, the noise radiated down to our room waking everyone up. Not soundproof whatsoever. Not work the price we paid.

This is a typical you get what you pay for room. Although it was not filthy, it did not feel clean to me. Walking down the hallway there are smells of food being cooked, so I think this hotel allows long term stays. The breakfast left much to be desired, with cold cereal, waffles, and a few pastries. Road construction made it loud and tricky to get into but that is not to fault the hotel in anyway.

By far the worst stay in all my bookings. After our first room has mold and was filthy I attempted to cancel and get my money back, but the owner wouldn’t allow it. Moved rooms that had more mold, ripped tile, peeling base boards, filthy chairs, spots on the bedding, shower had a chunk of hair at the top of the shower, bugs flew out of the sink when turning on the water and a chunk of the wall was ripped under the sink. I attempted to cancel my second night and was told I am not allowed a refund because the owner said no. I would never recommend this place and honestly, hotels.com should remove it from supporting them.

The hotel is very centrally located in North Bellingham right off i-5. It's close to all the box stores and shopping. And it's only a 10 minute drive to the best downtown and waterfront Bellingham has to offer and also about 10 minutes from fairhaven. The breakfast which was nice to have available was very sparse however the coffee was delicious. The room was comfortable and fine although there was no service to change the sheets or towels. Overall we had a nice day it was quiet and safe with a great location. I just wish the breakfast could have been a little bit better.

There was construction going on outside my window until 5:50 in the morning. If I had known there was going to be construction, I would not have booked this hotel. The funny thing to was when I went for the iron someone had cut the plug-in off the cord. But Mario brought me up another one. I need to call them actually because they charged me the hundred dollars for the incidentals which I left the room and the exact shape I found it.

Quite a nice stay at Bellis Inn. As far as we could see, the cleanliness was good. The room, overall, was good, especially at this price point. The was some upkeep for the management to catch up on, especially baseboard moulding in bathroom. It was quiet despite being next to a busy street. We will return.

Staff was courteous and polite. Handled everything efficiently.

Room was better than average. Shower worked great. Door to room needed repair. Barely closed to allow security lock to engage as intended.

Breakfast had to be the worst in any hotel I have ever stayed at. Some sausages and eggs, bread options poor, cereal was okay (can’t mess that up) didn’t choose waffles. America usually takes pride in breakfast offerings. I would recommend discontinuing breakfast unless you can do it right.

Property in general could use some love and attention.

The door to the breakfast room, which required my key card, would not work and I had to get a clerk to let me in. The hotel allowed pets but there was no grassy place anywhere for pets to potty. I probably won’t stay there again.

They are conveniently close to the freeway and shopping, but the traffic coming off the freeway can cause congestion. Currently (July 2025) road work is also making some slight issues. The property itself is nice and has quiet rooms. The carpet needed cleaning in our room. Overall a good place to stay.

It is an old hotel so I was expecting some worn furniture and several layers of paint on the walls. The linens and carpet had stains, which was a little off putting but understandable. Unfortunately it was very obvious the cleaning crew didn't spend much time -if any, cleaning our room. There were no towels or soap left in the bathroom, dirty wash rag left on the floor of bathroom and a receipt found between the bed and nightstand.Even the conversation table and refrigerator had not been cleaned of previous spills. The front desk staff was very pleasant and accommodating when we addressed these issues with them, even offering us a different room. We declined because we felt the same cleaning standards would've been applied to all rooms. (The dust accumulation made it obvious this wasn't a fluke event).
Bottom-line, this is NOT the worst hotel I've stayed at but definitely not the cleanest either. The staff is friendly, the coffee's good and the location is convenient.
