I was pretty disappointed in this hotel. The room smelled musty, the floors weren’t clean and the furniture is very worn. The pool and fitness center were closed for maintenance. The staff was helpful in addressing issues that were raised but the overall state of the hotel was quite bad.

I would definitely not choose to stay here again. I would say that the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, but they were dealing with situations beyond their control. We tried to check in our room at 10:30 PM and they had overbooked so they tried to get us into three different rooms that went wrong for various reasons. One we couldn’t get in the door because they hadn’t replaced the batteries on the door lock, the next one had an actual broken bed so that when my daughter went to sit on the bed flipped up in the air, this is no joke. The third one ended up being totally decent, but they hadn’t taken out the trash and it just wasn’t wonderful, it had a broken door as well so they had to let us in with a key and we didn’t get our own card keys and someone came by in the morning to fix our door for us. When there are so many other options for this price range, I would not do this one again, the staff was really helpful, I will say that much, but they were being faced with something that wasn’t great.

I recently stayed at Comfort Inn after a long day of snowboarding and specifically chose this hotel because the listing showed amenities like a hot tub, sauna, swimming pool, and fitness center.

Unfortunately, upon arrival I was informed that:
•The hot tub was broken
•The fitness center was closed due to liability issues
•The sauna was also closed due to liability issues

These amenities were a major reason I booked this property. After a physically demanding day on the slopes, I was really looking forward to recovering in the hot tub or sauna. Finding out that none of these facilities were available was very disappointing.

The front desk staff mentioned that they had contacted Expedia to update the listing but that it had not been corrected. While I appreciate the explanation, as a guest I rely on the information shown at booking time.

I would strongly recommend updating all third-party platforms to clearly reflect unavailable amenities so future guests can make informed decisions.

The stay itself was fine, but the inaccurate amenities significantly impacted my experience.

Rooms are dirty. Refrigerator was covered in mold on the inside. Shower drain didn’t work so you stand in ankle deep water while showering Hot tub and sauna advertised as an amenity online but was out of order when I checked in. Tired to get a refund for the room but the manager didn’t return calls. Frint desk employees rude and dismissive. Save your money, don’t stay at this place

The staff was great but the building is in really poor shape and the first room we were given had dirty sheets. Human hairs in the bed sheets a small bug on the one pillow. Won’t stay here again.. I do want to emphasize the staff was great!! They immediately got us a different room. Very apologetic .. Brought the key up to us so we didn’t have to take all our stuff back down to the lobby. It looks like the began renovations but then stopped ..

The room was super dingy, floor was rock hard like plywood with the thinnest carpet over it. We were told we were going in one if their nicest rooms.. the Microwave didn't work. The bathroom light was florescent with an abnoxious loud fan. No bath either. 2 stars are for the bed which was not bad comfort level and the nice staff. Would not stay here again.

This was supposed to be a non-smoking. There was obviously somebody smoking in the hallway and whenever I walk down the hallway, I had to smell cigarette smoke. Also in the elevator. It was so much that it aggravated acute bronchitis, and I had to start taking antibiotics. Going from the smell, this was probably marijuana also. I should get some reconsideration on when I paid.

The first room had a terrible smell so they gave us a new room. There was poop on the toilet seat and on the curtains! It was absolutely filthy. We are pretty sure there were drug deals going on and it smelled like pot. It was very scary being there. We packed up and left.

First room they gave us was under construction. (There was two beds one mattress and one box spring no flooring) when we returned to the desk he had to go check (like he had to make sure we weren't lying) second room was dirty (food, wrappers, used plastic utensils, even candy that ants were enjoying in the floor). When we found candy against the wall by the headboard I asked to move again

Breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast bagels juice eggs sausage waffles yougurt and dont forget the coffee. The bed in our first room was broken went and told staff without hesitation they found us a new room and it eneded up being right across the hall. The pool was warm but slick pool coating was really smooth. Hot tub was amazing besides the fact the coating was cracking and in the hot tub.

The only downside was our shower didn’t work, my husband looked at it and there was a hole in the hose. One-night stay in king room

Stayed for one night in a standard king room. The bathroom was a little run-down, but it was clean. The bed itself was, again, maybe a little old but the sheets were clean. The other two chairs in the room were decidedly not clean. The easy chair and ottoman were both stained, and the desk chair had several different types of stuff on it - some looked like food maybe?

The AC worked and was ice-cold (huge plus), there was a pretty big fridge and a small microwave in the room, and the expanded cable was nice.

I didn't have breakfast the day I checked out, but it was fairly busy - suggesting it was decent.

The standout here is the service - I actually only dealt with one young lady there for both check-in and check-out, and she was super polite, fast, and helpful. I was able to get an early check-in and extra towels without issue (obviously not guaranteed, especially the early check-in).

Ultimately, good stay and despite the sort of yucky chairs, I would return.

Staff was pleasant and check-in was easy. The buildings in good repair and overall seems fine. The room was hot and the thermostat not working. We discovered the air conditioning was unplugged from the wall and plugged it back in. While turning the air conditioning back on we noticed the filters appeared not to have been cleaned in a very long time. Once we clean the filters the air conditioning did a wonderful job. There was some dust built up in other places as well but not dirty just in need of a detailed cleaning. Attempted to attach a photo of the filters but the app won't let me.

If you want peace and quiet don’t stay here

Hotel and our room were nice however the majority of the time we were there, the staff cleaning rooms were slamming doors constantly. Around 3-7pm and then again in the morning from 8-10. Also knocking on our room door which woke us up, when there was a do not disturb sign. Wouldn’t stay here again.

By check in time we were assigned a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. Actually pretty much that whole floor hadn't been cleaned. We did get a room on another floor. Yet, instead of getting 2 queen beds, I think we got 2 full beds.

See a show and go to sleep.

We came up overnight to see a show downtown and we chose comfort in for its proximity to highway, reviews on quietness and price point. We did not make it down to breakfast because we wanted to brunch in Fairhaven. The bed is clean and comfortable with comfortable pillows. The room heat is nice. Very spartan overall. The fridge microwave are in working order and clean condition. The tv is nice and easy to operate. It was quiet through the night so we slept well. Sleeping comfortably was the most important thing so this experience met expectations.

While there ARE amenities around the property and good ones! The motel itself is poor at best! The floors in the room were dirty! When I called to have someone come check the TV not working she stated, “if you have everything plugged in, all I can do is move you to another room.” The sheets were clean and towels as well. Moving to another room wasn’t going to be an easy task. Someone not coming to check it was poor! Then the next morning housekeeping opened the door 4 times and checkout isn’t until 12pm. The pool was closed for repair. As was the workout center. I will agree one being closed, but not both at the same time! So, if you’re in hospitality, give hospitality!

I haven’t received my refund for 5 days after Comfort Inn credited and refunded to your company more than 15 days ago, and sent a confirmation email to both of us to support the approval and the refund confirmation.
Very unprofessional and unpleasant experience with your quality of customer service. My cell number is (619) 666-8800 is time to stop going around and deviate the responsibility of refunding my money back and not trying to keep my money by creating an issue by sending several emails stating unsupported excuses why you’re are basically trying to just keep my money expecting me to quit trying to get my refund.

The hotel has a single driving entry into and out of the parking lot off of a busy street so enter with care. When entering the parking lot and examining the building there are obvious signs of wear and tear. The CCTV system has been damaged or altered but looked like a blink camera put in random places. Was greeted when i entered the lobby and checkin was simple. I stayed on the 1st floor. The door to my room had obvious staining and was advertised as non smoking though a smell lingered. The latch on the window was damaged and the window opened all the way (good airflow but bad security). Trim pieces were cracked and seperating. The bed was not horrible and the linen appeared clean. The beakfast at 8 was barely adequate and the best option for me was the complimentary cereal.

Overall the hotel served its putpose but for the price there are better options out there.

Pretty good, quiet place. Located in close proximity to a number of restaurants/shops. Only downside was that BOTH the pool/hot tub were closed due to maintenance, and same with the gym. A bit of a bummer because these were all factors that led us to choose this location… I think we have learned our lesson to just call ahead to ensure amenities are ACTUALLY being offered.

Comforter has stains on it… mold, falling apart and overall gross!
They put me beside a laundry room that made vibrating noise all night long.
I came in very late with a child who went to sleep right away… she woke up at 5am asking what that loud noise was! She said the place was a 1 star!
At least she got sleep! When I complained because I couldn’t sleep they offered to move me but by then my child was sleep and I was alone with a ton of suitcases! No one to help!
Only thing good was was oatmeal and bananas with breakfast

Getting the TV to work was weird. Several sockets would not hold our chargers, curtains were wonky, rack above toilet was about to fall out of the wall. Other than those things - and they didn't really bug me. It was a comfortable room with a Jacuzzi tub that the staff upgraded us to without charge because their hot tub wasn't working. Great location too.

Room was great. Great price. We did switch because we were next to the sprinkler valve room which made a loud noise every ten minutes. They switched us no problem.
The breakfast was not good. They ran out of forks. The waffle machine for some reason did not cook the waffles. I did a second waffle and left it in for five minutes and it was very cooked on the outside but still pretty raw in the middle. They ran out of coffee and when they brewed it again, they walked away and didn’t bother to come back. My spouse had to figure out how to assemble the carafe and put it back in its holder. The staff are very close by but didn’t seem to care to check on the breakfast area even though they were not busy. The very back counters where the corners are were filthy. They don’t seem to clean the very back of the counters - too hard to reach? Eggs were ok and sausages were very dry. We will go earlier next time to get fresh food. We went at 9am.
The pool area was closed which was very disappointing.
