Carpet in the hall on the third floor was
loose, making it difficult to wheel a suitcase. Beds are firm - good for me, not so much my daughter who prefers softer bed. Also sad that the indoor hot tub still isn’t repaired. We did like having the restaurant right there. Over all an enjoyable stay and will use them again.

I’ve been going to this hotel for over 30 years. It’s in need of an update but it’s well run and the staff is great. The 2 bedroom suite is perfect for a family.

The pool is clean and fun for the kids. The restaurant has good food and the nighttime entertainment is next level!

Pool area & hotel In general haven’t been updated in years. Ice machines didn’t work on 2,3 floor so only one for whole hotel. Electric chargers for cars didn’t work. Towels in room were dirty.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Kids were running up and down the halls for 2 days straight ALL day and no one did anything about it. The indoor hot tub was closed, the waterfalls weren’t working. Then halfway through swimming , staff shocked the pool so we couldn’t go in it. Outdoor hot tub thankfully was the highlight. Staff at Casey’s was AMAZING. Brunch, dinner and night entertainment and staff AMAZING

We stayed here last year and they had cnn, abc, nbc and cbs. Now they have none of these so a very boring t.v. when we checked in there was zero greeting. When we would come in in the evening the lady was at the desk doing nothing and zero greeting. Very, very odd for a hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights, it was okay.. nothing really stood out about the hotel. No workout facility, no morning breakfast, hot tub inside was broken. Pool doesn't allow any water toys or floatation devices.. to me that just takes away alot of the fun in a pool, especially for the price your paying to enjoy your time. Towels need to signed out and can't leave the pool area.. so your walking back to your room cold and wet in your bathing suit. Main elevator is very dated and kept stopping on random floors with no one there and no buttons being pushed. Are room was also very dated and quite dull. I expected abit more updates.. the hotel hasnt changed since I was a kid visiting my grandmother when she would come in from out of town.

Disappointing. This place used to be the place to stay in the Sault. Now everything is dated and aging. Indoor hot tub has been down for 14 months (according to locals), outdoor hot tub was cool and didn't seem clean. It used to have gas heaters on the pathway so you wouldn't slip or freeze on the way in. No longer. I expected some shampoo and conditioner dispensers. There were the tiniest containers of each... needed two for my hair and then to ask for more (very wasteful). Four of us checked in and we had three towels. The carpet \"tiles\" are dog-eared and dirty. There was hair on the chair and in the tub. The TV is so outdated, that you can't rent a movie or stream from your phone (we were waiting out a snow storm). No recycling. Three nights there and our room was cleaned partially only once. They forgot to make the beds.
I think my days off staying here for our ski trips are over!!!

Staff at this hotel have always been wonderful. It is a very clean location and close to many stores. We had to stay an extra day and the staff helped us stay in the same room during the check-out/in process for the extra day. Kids loved the pool and hot tub.

I was disappointed when I saw the empty hot-tub and \"closed for maintenence\" sign, but, lo and behold, the outdoor hot-tub was working! Hot-tub and swimming pool good temps, surprise sauna even better!

The room was clean and comfortable. Bed and pillow were very comfortable. I could have used a warmer comforter as the room was a little cool and as I turned up the thermostat it really didn't work. Some of the light bulbs in the lights needed replacing and the shades on the lamps definitely needed replacing - yellow and torn. A good spruce up of the room was needed.

The windows are old and have a huge draft. The heat can’t keep up. Also, the hot tub was not open and apparently it hasn’t been for a year but they still advertise that they have it. Also, we were unable to get food at 10 even though the restaurant was full. They said they don’t seat people after 10. Then they told us we couldn’t get food at the pub since we had a child with us. Even though there are tables outside of the pub. Also, not hot water half the time. Would recommend staying somewhere else.

When we arrived our rooms were not together but they quickly made sure that they were - They were very behind on cleaning rooms so we had to wait and did not get checked in until close to 4pm but they did give us breakfast coupons for this inconvenience and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was delicious but I am very sad about how we were treated by restaurant staff like an inconvenience because we have 4 children it was nice to see their attitudes change when they realized they are well behaved children but it was upsetting and unnecessary until this point - very happy with rooms and pool area but will unlikely use the restaurant again for our stays

Unreal how kind and friendly the staff was here...how accommodating they were with everything, even the pub and Casey's which you have access from inside...the difficult to understand room description that expedia had on the website calling the room a double room making me think it was a room with 2 beds caused me to book the wrong room...Kimberly fixed everything!!!amazing!
They even let my teens play their guitar and sing the evening away in the lobby area at night while i was resting in my room. I can't say thank you enough....we had bad neighbours above us, sounded like a herd of elephants doing aerobics at odd hours, but that's out of their control and also the beds are not very comfortable but it definitely makes up for the kindness and the above and beyond that they have displayed...will definitely stay again and 100% recommend.

The room was spectacular nice and clean a tad dated but has everything you need. This is the 3rd time staying at this location over the last 15 years.
I was really looking ford to be able to stay at the Governor Generals Suite. This is one of there nicer suites. Definitely not cheep to stay in the room just the security depoet is 600.00 and worth it as the room is really a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in size.
The apartment suite showes its age but shows a time of glamer and glory.
Down side for the price you pay you would expect better customer services. When I was checking in after a 7 hour drive to get there I asked the receptionist if the room would be avaliable for a second night as my slef and my guests my need to extend are business buy a day.
The receipt looked me over and seen a man in track pants and a a sweeter as i like to be comfortable for long drives and she replies. The room is vary expensive and as i went through Expedia i would have to come back in the morning to check the availability.
What can I say. Should I have ANNOUNCED that i work for the largest gold producers in the world to get a simple question answered like is the room avaliable for another night.
I was not expecting to be received as someone who couod not afford a room just because i went through Expedia.
And the list of customer services issues for the price you pay can go on and on but i am limited on space for this review.

I arrived @ 7Pm after a 15 hour drive, walked in the lobby and there were two people behind the desk. The gentleman was helping a guest, the second one whose name is Car, was chatting with a coworker about the nachos that coworker had just ordered from Casey’s. I stood there for a minute or two while they finish their conversation. The coworker walked away when Car looked up at me and said “Sup”

I assume that meant that she was ready to check me in, I hadn’t booked yet so I asked her if the price direct was better than the price I would get on Expedia. She told me that Expedia was a rip off always and ask me what kind of room I wanted. I asked for some pricing to compare and Expedia turned out to be $60 cheaper today. So I booked on Expedia. No problem there.

I askedHow do I get to 502 she then pointed me to the elevator said between the pillars, hit the button.

I am in Sault Ste. Marie about 15 times a year. I have always stayed at the Quattro until today. I also book rooms for my clients when I’m here as they are all from out of the country and working in agriculture means I have to bring them to the field as I can’t bring the field to them. It was just me this time.

I would be embarrassed if one of my clients told me this story. Where I put them up as a reflection on me, very unprofessional, and not at all great service.

The hot tub was out of order without notification that it would be out of order. The pool attendant was very particiular about who was in the pool area and was strict on what the children were doing. The rules are not posted on the website of what people can and cannot do, and people needed to sign a form stating the rules, however, other children were running up and down the hallway at all hours of the night. The phone didn't work to be able to call the front desk to let them know this.

When we arrived we were informed that the pool, hot tub and sauna were not available for the entire three nights. This is not acceptable. The only reason why we chose this property is to use the hot tub and sauna due to our chronic pain. It was a real disappointment and they would not reward us in any way except a few free breakfasts.

Very disappointing stay. The pool closure was spun as a short term, just happened, “might be fixed tomorrow” situation, but with time it became clear it’s been an ongoing issue. With no notice of a weeks long pool issue until check-in our hands were tied and no effort was made to compensate.
The hotel is a bit run down and dated, not bad but nothing special. We literally only chose it because of the pool. Issues, understandably, arise but the lack of honesty and transparency surrounding the main attraction to this hotel is frustrating. Would encourage future travelers to avoid until the pool is functioning as usual.

Staff and room were great. The problem is that the hallways are getting really run down and in urgent need of repair. A huge section of carpet had been torn up outside my room, but not yet replaced. The room next to mine had a piece of paper on it to show the room number. I really like this hotel, but the unrepaired damage is really affecting the tone of it.
