Paradise Bungalows—where the legendary Full Moon Party began. In 1983, on Haad Rin beach in Koh Phangan, the owner of Paradise Bungalows' Rock Bar, Mr.
Sutti, hosted a small gathering for around 20 to 30 travelers. With music, laughter, and dancing around a bonfire, the first Full Moon Party was born.
What began as a small welcome celebration now attracts crowds of 40, 000-60, 000 people every full moon evening, with the party continuing until sunrise. If you want to experience this world-famous event, visit Paradise Bungalows on Haad Rin beach and enjoy the ultimate party atmosphere.

My room was basically an old Thai home, no frills, beds were in an old box form. The blinds were filthy just like the blanket. Towels stainedand worst of all was the bathroom where the step up/down was literally 2 feet no movable step, plus slippery when exiting (this was crazy, never seen anything like that before) Bonus every night a new creature appeared in the bathroom which unit is below ground level so this screen is supposed to stop all the critters from getting in, NO!! Giant cockroach, baby centipede, small roaches, millipedes, med size jumping spider, loud ass gecko. The neighbors pretty much all around us made noise whenever they felt like it, no consideration for others. What made this place a little gem though was the weird swimming pool and the 2nd story oceanfront structure that you could just lounge off of and chill. (there might be a guy up there now that is charging people to hang up there👎!) The office ladies were pretty cool and helpful. The restaurant at

We had the family bungalow up on the hill. We stayed during the full moon party and it was quiet and peaceful with a great view. Room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The bungalow was in walking distance to food and shopping however, the hill to the bungalow was very steep so if you aren’t in great condition health wise, I would recommend staying down by the beach.

The property is located ON a beautiful Beach. There are beach parties every night. I was transferred from a bungalow up the hill with tripping hazards to a nicer bungalow by the lovely pool. The intermittent housekeeping is excellent. When you want the room cleaned you deliver your key to the office. Slightly inconvenient to be locked out until they finish cleaning at some unannounced time. The first time I delivered my key & came back 3 hours later the room still was not done.
The staff is amazing and helpful as can be. The hotel food is very good. Room had excellent A/C which is a godsend in this tropical climate. Toilet puddles is annoying. But, I loved this place so much I extended my stay for a week, I would definitely return, & I highly recommend it to others!

I'm in Thailand for 3 weeks and this was the best hotel we stay at in our whole 3 weeks vacation. Staff was super friendly and very welcoming and helped us in every way we need. U wish I could have stay there longer but my vacation is over. The food is amazing and the price for s low with a amazing pool and good vibes. We had the hill bungalows. Very basic. No fridge. Just 2 twin beds with a shower and toilet. It did have an ocean view and nice patio.
Now to the full moon. It's intense. I'd never go again. Also every night the music pumped from all around bars. If you want good location to the full moon with a nice pool this is your place. Definitely not for families

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location, the hotel backs onto the beach. However, our room had uv paint marks all over the place. The room itself is very simple and seems secure enough. The hotel offers a small locker behind reception that you can use to put your important stuff, and secure it with your own lock.

Jättetrevlig personal och bra mat på hotellet. Blev erbjudna att flytta till bättre rum efter en natt utan att själva bett om det. Hårda sängar och extremt dåligt tryck i duschen drar ner lite, men helt klart att jag skulle boka rum här igen! Party från stranden kan höras fram på morgonen så att vara där för party är en fördel.

We stayed there only one night (very short night) after visiting the halfmoon party. This is the best value for money I had in a long time. Considering the price I didnt expect much but the rrom are of good quality (not luxury but very well made)and very clean. Aircon is working well as well as hot water. I would recommend it to evryone for the moon parties or for longer stay with limited budget. Walking distance to the very nice beach. We really really liked it here !!!

När vi kom dit fick vi ett rum tilldelat till oss och redan samma kväll var rummet FULLT av kackerlackor, det var min 11 st.. När vi dödar 1-2 dök det upp 3 till.. Super äckligt. Men vi fick sova hos våra vänner den natten (som bodde på samma Hotel) och sedan dagen efter fick vi ett större och bättre rum. Ingen wi-fi på rummet vilket var ett minus för oss eftersom vi gärna vill ringa våra föräldrar på kvällarna innan vi ska sova.

Nära festen, men bättre alternativ finns.
Bodde i det billigaste rummet och det låg vägg i vägg med Same same (nattklubb driven av två danska kvinnor). Vi är inte särskilt lättsrörda men det var väldigt högljutt framför allt ju närmare fullmoon vi kom. På fullmoon var det livat fram till 8 på morgonen! I haad rin finns mer prisvärda boenden som inte ligger precis bredvid klubbarna. Det är.bättra att kolla på boende på andra sidan haad rin. Tar bara 3 minuter att tas sig ner till fullmoon-stranden därifrån.

Vi var veldig overrasket over hvor slitt, gammelt og enkelt rommet var. Det så ikke ut som bildet fra annonsen. Området var slitent og preget av festing for mange år siden. Det er ikke wi fee tilgang på rommet, kun på fellesområdet. Det var ikke strømtilgang på badet, som var ellers enkel med en dusj uten forheng og sluk under vasken. Ingen daglig rengjøring/skift av håndkle. Men det er kort avstand til en veldig fin strand, og en mer sliten partystrand.
