Great hotel for value and location

Excellent location being right on the main full moon street, but far enough that you don't hear the music. Room was really nice for the value. AC worked well. Only minor negative points - lots of mini ants in the room (can't do much though with how the door slides), pool could have been cleaned better, and the single beds are very single... Otherwise highly recommend if you're during the full moon party.

For the price it was great. I’m not sure if this is a lot of the hotels on the island but you could only charge items when in the room with a special card attached with the key that would allow electricity to work, which was a bit of a nuisance. The sitting area outside the room was nice. Decent beds. Excellent location.

Good location, helpful receptionist, clean rooms

The receptionist was really helpful throughout our stay, they provided advise and assisted with a few of our bookings.
We went for the full moon party and this hotel is prefect as it is far enough that you can't hear the noises from the beach but still close enough to walk to the beach which is only a few minutes away (no hills!!).
The rooms, towels, sheets are clean.

Decent no frills hotel

Decent no frills hotel. Rooms are basic and bed is reasonably comfortable. Locations is really good; 2 minutes walk to the beach but not right in the crowd of things. The Halls of the hotel are loud when people are talking. Ac is strong bit is not regulated as the rooms get quite cold. Equipped with fridge, 2 bottles of water and towels. Soap and shampoo provided. Pool is ok. Daily housekeeping upon request. Front line staff very friendly and can book tours and boat tickets

Decent, but not a delight

We stayed here for the full moon party, so of course we would expect the room to be expensive. In fact it was the most expensive room during our stay in Thailand, even three times for costly than our room in Koh phi phi. That being said... it's right on the beach where the party is, you just exit the hotel and cross the pathway and you're there. Many restaurants and shops around. Laundry service is fairly cheap and the hotel staff were wonderful. The room itself is basic. Don't be fooled by the online pics and expect anything fancy. It's basically a cement box with two beds and an air conditioner. The bedding seemed like it was clean but we slept in our travel sheets anyway. The plumbing seemed stressed out. Whenever I showered it would stop draining and flood the bathroom. Then suddenly there would be a loud sucking noise and the water would drain and there would be a horrible smell. Overall it wasn't a bad place to stay though and the breakfast was impressive. Made fresh when you order and the coffee was very good. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Me and my partner arrived see that the room was locked via padlock and key. Very disappointed as it doesn't seem very safe due to high amount of glass paned doors and windows in room. Immediately left and stayed elsewhere.

Perfect Location

Hotel doesn't look like much from the outside and the first impression of the room wasn't that great, BUT, very friendly staff and location definitely made up for it!

Room was tidy with king size bed and amazing AirCon (much needed), only let down was the small size of the bathroom and the plumbing wasn't 100% (flushing of toilet due to recent flooding), but you get over that rather quick.

Location is amazing, 1min walk to everything you could possibly need (shops, beach, bars, restaurants, markets, etc)

Breakfast was surprisingly great. Every morning I Ordered the American breakfast with scrambled eggs and toast, (The eggs.. omg.. I swear, got better and better everyday).

Full Moon Party: situated just far enough away that you won't have to 'try' sleep through the chaos on the beach but close enough that you could come back, grab something/drop something off and not miss anything.

If the facility's and rooms were upgraded a bit, no doubt the Star rating for this place would go up substantially.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would return again. Thank you Delight Resort, you were amazing!

Nice staff, but uncomfortable rooms

The staff were nice and the location is great for the full moon party and the beach. Unfortunately, the rooms were not very comfortable and the WiFi was awful too. It almost ruined our perfect honey moon.

Adequate hotel for the full moon

Hotel was ok. Close to the beach for the full moon party, but we found it was far enough away that we couldn't hear anything. The room was nice enough, simple, but it gets the job done. There is a pool, it is simple but great for a dip. The hotel is close to everything in Haad Rin and the access to the beach is down a laneway across the road.
Breakfast is simple, but it gets the job done and satisfies your hunger.

Had an awesome trip with my friends and also the neighbours were welcoming as well. Made a few friends and also partied together and the hotel was a safe area. Glad to be staying at the hotel and hopefully we will come again real soon.

Full Moon Party

Went for the Full Moon Party and this was the perfect location. Just a 2min walk to the center of the party. The room was clean and comfortable. Pool was right outside my room and looked inviting but I was always at the beach. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

great place for great price

This was an excellent room for the price. We are younger and wanted to be in haad rin because it tends to be nice and lively for drinking in the evenings. We had a great stay in the hotel and the free breakfast was pretty nice every morning. I would say that it was very quiet and suprisingly slower durring the nights we were there. I like that Delight was by the dock for our boat and there were all sorts of services and eateries super close. Only thing that was annoying was that we did not have a tv for the rainy mornings and the air conditioner took a long time to cool the room down after returning. I would reccomend this place for couples or singles looking to stay on the \"wilder\" side of the island. Would be GREAT location for full moon party!

Great hotel for staying in this high touristic area. We stayed in low season, so will be much different during full moon. Great personnel, breakfast and pancakes. If you're looking for more quiet area, look for secret beach on the west or anything close by.

No complaints, great staff!

The staff here are amazing and tended to our every need politely. They spoke good English, and arranged anything and everything you could imagine (tours, ferry tickets, scooter rentals). We paid for an extra fold-out bed and it was very cozy.

We arrived a week prior to the full moon party and found it very difficult to sleep with all the music playing very late. Ear plugs were useless to muffle it. Be prepared for that.

Oh, and they block Facebook on their \"free guest wifi\" probably so guests have to pay to use their paid service in the lobby.

The restraunt at the resort had amazing ice cream shakes, but the food was mehhhh.

Best food we found on the island was at the Green Peace. As you leave the resort make a right and its two doors down. And, they have free wifi that doesn't block Facebook.

Close to the beach..

Well, my initial thoughts while walking down the street to the delight resort were.. Wow this place looks nothing like the pictures posted. The staff were very nice upon entering the reception and kindly showed us to our room. The wifi only works in the restaurant and reception area. The room was... Different. It wasn't dirty..but not great. I'm pretty picky on where I stay and honestly, this room has enough in terms of what you need, but don't expect extras. There was really good water pressure, and the air conditioning was good. There were no bugs, so that was a plus. The pool is ok, hits the spot after a long day at the beach which is located about a 5 min walk directly across the street. Overall a 3.5/5. Also- the restaurant food at hotel is pretty bad... Just a tip.

Decent hotel, not on the beach, but close enough

Arrived Haad Rin the day after Full Moon Party (accidentally). The beach was filthy from the party the night before, but the village was still quite busy, after everyone woke up in the afternoon. Only stayed one night, then headed to quieter parts of Koh Pha-ngan. Hotel was nice, not great, and pool was very nice.

A delight to stay at!

Delight resort is basic and clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Resturant is brilliant such a varied menu and the food is lovely. The resort is perfect location for full moon party. The hotel is a little pricey but i think you pay more for the location because of the full moon and how close it is! Would stay here again :)

El hotel está muy bien y cumple con todo lo necesario para una estadía cómoda. Es un poco antiguo pero esta bien. Nos hospedamos tres noches durante la época de la Moon Party y todo estuvo muy bien organizado.

Está ubicado en Haad Rin, justo donde se realiza la fiesta: salís directamente a la calle peatonal y esta a 100 metros de la playa.

La habitación era amplia, limpia, con aire acondicionado, ventilador, heladera pequeña y servicio de toallas para la playa. No tenía ventana, pero sí extractor de aire y un espacio exterior privado con dos sillas y mesa.

El hotel ofrece además alquiler de moto y venta de nafta. Cuenta también pileta y zona de solarium con reposera.

Como detalle, la noche de la fiesta se escucha gente pasar por el pasillo, algo totalmente esperable por la cantidad de visitantes.

Muy buena relación precio calidad

En resumen: excelente ubicación, servicios prácticos y personal atento. Volvería sin dudas.

Wir waren zur Fullmoonparty im Resort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist alles per Fuß zu erreichen und die Lage ist toll. Das Resort ist zwar schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles sauber und das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es war die perfekte Unterkunft für uns und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Beskidt hotel, men tæt på fullmoonparty

Værelset var ret beskidt, især badeværelset lignende ikke et der var blevet gjort ordentligt rent længe. Poolen var heller ikke ren.

Personalet var søde og hjælpsomme.

Meget dyrt sted at bo når der er fullmoonparty, ift hvad man ellers får for pengene i Thailand generelt.
Tilgengæld lå det lige ved stranden hvor festen er, så der var dejlig nemt at gå frem og tilbage.

Hotellet var väldigt bra. Hade ett stort enkelt rum. För er som vill se ut från rummen så ska ni veta att det fanns två små fönster, men det var ett sånt glas så man inte kan se ut. Men det störde inte mig någonting. En minut från stranden vilket var underbart och låg bara någon minut från 7Eleven åt båda hållen. Nära till restauranger och små butiker. Poolen var också härlig! Väldigt fint vatten och lugnt då jag aldrig såg någon vid poolen när jag vad där.

Huone puhdas, mutta thai tyyliin kun ei korjauksia juuri tehdä, niin pinnat oli jo vähän huonossa kunnossa. Sänky iso ja mukava. Hotellissa uima-allas, mutta ranta oli lähellä, joten allas meidän tapauksessa turha.

일단, 풀문파티를 하러 가기엔 최적의 장소였어요!!

Sehr schön . Waren zur Fullmoon Party dort . Perfekt davor da nur 1 min von Party Strand weg . Dennoch meint man bei betreten der Anlage die Party steigt wo ganz anders. Perfekt zum Ausruhen vor und nach der Party .auch im toll angelegten Pool . Frühstück war lecker

Hotel organizado e bem localizado.

O hotel é organizado, limpo e bem localizado, fica na parte mais agitada da ilha, próximo de onde ocorre a Full Moon Party e das festas à noite, além de diversos bares, restaurantes e 7 eleven. O staff é muito solícito.
