The location is great as the beach is the best on the island. The rooms are great size. Though most of the service staff are nice there is no consistency to how the service is provided. There didn’t appear to be any management on the property to provide much needed direction to the staff. Like others have mentioned, the price point is high for what you get. You have to accept that you’re paying for the location and the beautiful beach. If you’re looking for a resort with more professional, trained staff where the bungalows and grounds are far better maintained then I suggest taking a look at Shantaa Resort. We had an opportunity to visit them as well. Shantaa has beautiful hill top views but no beach as compared to High Season.

I would like to give a shout out to Kongtup, Nam, Valen, Chalee and Non for their wonderful service, attitude, smiles and service! Thank you!

Just got back from Koh Kood and stayed at High Season Pool Villa & Spa — truly impressed from the moment we checked in. The staff were warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home.

The villa was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for relaxing.

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Thai dishes — full of authentic flavors and cooked to perfection.

If I have the chance to visit Koh Kood again, I’ll definitely stay here again! ❤️

The key to High Season resort is its incredible beach front location and the really well designed and build pool villas. The rustic and lush exotic gardens give you a sense of relaxation. It was getting close to low season, so the staff seemed to be a bit slowed down. For a 5 star resort, we expected a bit more enthusiasm from the beach staff. Like bringing cold water on hot days and tending the beach lounges. Other than that, everyone else from front desk to room upkeep and service was great.

The property is beautiful and right on a gorgeous beach. We enjoyed daily morning walks on the beach and lounging around the beach bar area. We are not usually the type of people to spend the whole of our holiday on the beach or by a pool as we like to experience the culture of & really explore a place - but this was the end of a trip visiting various parts of Thailand & the perfect place to relax.
The only thing I would say is that the staff need more training in hospitality especially in the restaurant & shuttle service could be better - we almost missed our ferry back to Trat for various reasons.

After traveling to several of Thailand’s islands and occasionally upgrading my accommodations this place is by far the nicest villa complex I’ve ever seen in Thailand. Small number of very private villas with an outstanding beachfront. The beach bar and resort restaurant are also some of the best eating/drinking/dining/ relaxing environments I’ve ever seen. Treat yourself and stay here. You won’t be sorry but you will be ruined for further hotel stays

The hotel is amazing. The stuff is very friendly and helpful in all your needs. I loved the breakfast buffet and the Spa. The pool however should be cleaned more frequently. We had dinner in the \"bird nest\" which was also a very lovely experience. The rooms are very big, too. Overall it was a great experience. But to be honest, for this price I would expect a little bit more. We went there for a long weekend getaway, outside the main season. So the price was OK for the value you get. But I have doubts that we will go there in the main season.

The gardens leading into the villas are beautiful, they have walkways winding past hanging orchards and numerous water features, the foliage is dense and gives off the effect that you are in a manicured jungle. The villas all have thatched roofs, AC, ceiling fans, incredible bathrooms with outstanding soaps, bath scrubs and salts, your own private pool. . Breakfast was served on the first floor above the restaurant near the beach and was one of the best I've ever eaten. The staff were so friendly and kind and respected everyones privacy There was absolutely nothing we could fault.

Great rooms and beautiful beach

Beautiful location, peaceful and very nicely done hotel. Beach is small but perfect, good size pool with view over the ocean and rooms very large with their own little pools. WiFi is fast, the staff very friendly and helpful. They do have noise issues in the room though, the fridge is old and noisy. But worse was a low head piercing mechanical hum which seems to come from underneath the bungalows right below the bed. One major downside is that everything at the hotel is very overpriced and the breakfast is desperately poor. Im guessing breakfast is prepared the day before since all the fruit, cold cuts and bread etc is a bit dried out. The dinner at their Thaif restaurant is very good though. Something really annoyed me, they add 10% service on everything without giving you a choice (other places I've been to in Thailand did not). I'm happy to give a tip but find it offensive when I don't get a choice. They also have a very confusing happy hour deal all day, they don't explain that it's only from one bar and if you happen to order from wrong person it ends up charged double price.

Wonderful experience!

The resort was excellent place on the best location. Room was clean with fresh smell. Good amenities, very great smell of lemon grass. Restaurant was good taste.
Beach Spa massage was awesome! Stunning sunset at the bar. The staff were outstanding. There is an atmosphere of joy about the place, everyone greets you with smiles. You leave feeling uplifted.

Spectacular spot on Koh Kood

Stayed at High season resort with my girlfriend, and it was perfect. We were booked into a deluxe pool villa, which was just the right amount of private with close proximity to the beach.

The resort is spotless, and the staff are extremely attentive, friendly, yet not at all smothering as is the case at many five-star resorts. When you need something, they are a ring away.

The resort can accommodate private dining in your villa, or their private Bird Nest.

The beach is stunning, and by far one of the most beautiful and spotless on the island.

If you're looking for relaxation, this is your place. Can't wait to visit again!

Stunning hotel but ultimately disappointing

The hotel has a wonderful location. The first impressions were great. Very polished reception and tour. Our room exceeded our expectations. Attention to detail was obvious throughout the resort, so it's very disappointing that despite the staff being very friendly and well meaning they were poorly trained. Food and beverage was chaotic bordering on catastrophic and for that reason alone I would not consider returning.

One of The Most Amazing Resorts in the World

We just came back from a 5-night stay at High Season. We have been to many luxury hotels and resorts but I can honestly stay this was the most amazing experience we have ever had. Other luxury hotel chains that cost twice as much do not even come close. High Season has thought of everything- from a luxury lounge to make guests comfortable before boarding the ferry, to taking them to the peer and waiting for them with white towels to drive to the resort on the other side, every need one can have on this somewhat of a remote island of Koh Kood is taken care of. If you are looking for a noisy, Las Vegas style of vacation- this is not for you. If you are looking for a quiet vacation of complete relaxation with staff that goes above and beyond to meet every need you may have- that is it. It is almost unbelievable that a place like that exists anywhere in the world. I caught a cold on the plane getting to Thailand and when I called the front desk to ask where the nearest pharmacy was for example, they offered to buy the medication for me and bring it to my room or look for me by the pool or restaurant. The grounds look the garden of Eden and the staff walks barefoot in their white outfits- it feels like you have died and went to heaven. The villas are amazing. I do not want to spoil it for other guests but you cannot even imagine the things they have thought about to make people comfortable- true 5 stars and I now realize that other hotels that call themselves 5 stars are not!

One of the best hotel I ever stayed in Thailand , everything was amazing and wonderful, start from reserving to the pier until u reach the hotel.
1- staff: very friendly and very kind , and treat u like a king in the nice resort.
2- villa: nicely decorated, very clean, very big, and very comfortable.
3- housekeeping: very profissional staff , arrange and clean ur room twice a day, and suprise u at night with so many great ideas like a candle in the bathroom , snake before sleeping , weather broadcast for next day, and some flowers, in addition to close all curtain and windows for more privacy.
3- hotel facilities : pool very big and clean and nice view, gym is good , spa center is nicely decorated , beach services is great.
4- food and restaurents : everything is available, little expensive but good taste.
5- management: very friendly and helpful , hotel manager will follow u to pier to help until last minutes , with all of her staff

Simply if u want to enjoy ur life and treat ur self
Then u must try to stay in high season hotel

A garden of Eden. Beautiful location. Villas are awesome, luxurious, all villas have private pool, perfect in all details, the bed is perfect to sleeping. Swimming in galaxy pool facing the beautiful beach will remain in our memory forever. Attentive & friendly staff. Food is delicious. The bird's nest dining was perfect!

A really special hotel, everything done to a very high standard, feels very private too - get lost in your own world here. Highlight was having cocktails and dinner at sunset in their 'birds nest' - just the two of us up in the trees looking out over the water - beautiful. Enormous pool and truly beautiful beach - white sand, clear aquamarine water, and the sun sets right in front of the resort.
Very helpful and friendly staff who go the extra mile - they'll sort out anything for you.
Food is good but we didn't want to eat there the whole time - worth exploring the area as there are some great places to try - the hotel is a 5 minute walk from The Fisherman's Hut - a great spot for dinner - fun atmosphere and fresh fish. And a short walk up the beach to the 'good view cafe' - which has an amazing view & good coffee.
We would definitely go back again.

Es war unzumutbar, wir warren in drei verschiedenen sogenannten Ville und war komplett enttäuscht über den Zustand.
Die sogenannten Villen brauchen nicht nur ein neuen Anstrich, das letzte Mal das dort jemand investiert hat für die Erhaltung ist 20 Jahre her.
Von Pfledermäusen bis Übergeben war alles dabei.

Rent og pænt og daglig rengøring med frisk vand, frugt, småkager
Personalet var utrolig søde på hele resorter.
Morgenmad var udsøgt med alt hvad man kunne tænke sig - også cava som blev skænket op

Fantastiske villaer og omgivelser. Morgenmaden meget lækker.
Vi havde en enkel, dårlig oplevelse med oksekød, som smagte af lever, men ellers var maden fin. Skøn strand og solnedgang.
Desværre spolerer hotellet det magiske ved solnedgang med høj musik og en saxofonist, som spiller falsk til playback musik. Og det fortsætter ved morgenmaden.
Små ting i en ellers skøn oplevelse.

Wir waren bereits vor drei Jahren im High Season Pool Villa Resort und haben uns damals sofort verliebt – es gehörte zu unseren absoluten Lieblingsresorts. Bei unserem aktuellen Aufenthalt haben wir jedoch festgestellt, dass die Anlage insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Einige Bereiche wirken pflegebedürftig, und man hätte sich mehr Aufmerksamkeit für Details und Verarbeitung gewünscht.

Auch die Beach-Villen am Strand machten von außen einen deutlich abgenutzten Eindruck, und die Strandliegen waren teilweise schief oder wirkten nicht mehr gut in Schuss.

Die Matratzen im Zimmer sind extrem hart, was den Schlafkomfort merklich beeinträchtigt hat. Ein weiteres großes Problem waren die vielen Mücken im Zimmer – wir wurden leider sehr stark zerstochen. Hier besteht aus unserer Sicht dringender Handlungsbedarf.

Positiv hervorzuheben sind der traumhafte Strand, der wirklich einzigartig ist, sowie das qualitativ sehr gute Frühstück. Allerdings empfinden wir den Preis von rund 80 € pro Person als deutlich zu hoch.

Etwas unpraktisch ist zudem, dass im Hotel kein Geldwechsel möglich ist. Zum Glück hat der Roller-Verleih eine zuverlässige und faire Lösung geboten.

Das Personal wiederum ist absolut herausragend – durchweg freundlich, engagiert und äußerst hilfsbereit. Der Service war exzellent und zählt definitiv zu den Highlights unseres Aufenthalts.

Insgesamt hatten wir schöne Momente, doch aufgrund der genannten Punkte stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns nicht m

L’hôtel est très bien placé, à tous points de vue.

Il est probablement installé au bord d’une des plus belles plages de l’île. (
À vérifier avec celle du SONEVA)
Plage propre et très belle. Eaux cristallines.
Les jardins sont luxuriants l’ambiance très sympathique.

Le staff est aux petits soins et très disponible.
Vraiment à l’écoute et sincère. +++

Seul bémol :
je pense qu’un rafraîchissement serait nécessaire au sein de certains espaces :
mobilier de piscine dégradés / vieux, idem chaises longues de la plage, chambres sympa mais à rafraîchir, la nôtre : 321.

=> Petit manque d’entretien à mon goût pour un 5*.

Fantastisk placering ved stranden, flot klar vand. Dejlige have. Hvorfor ikke 5 stjerner? Det er de små ting, ikke mange frugter at vælge imellem til morgenmad, ingen spring rolls i fire dage en del af servetriserne er ikke oplært og snakker ikke engelsk. Gym er dårlig. Med lidt bedre oplæring af personale kunne det nemt blive et 5 stjernet hotel. NB der er masser af snorkle muligheder for enden af stranden.

Viel Luft nach oben, um 5 Sterne zu bekommen

Wir hatten Glück und unsere Grand Pool Villa war einigermaßen geschützt vor Einblicken. Bei den meisten Villen ist das nicht der Fall. Das Resort war vorab weder über die angegebene Mobile Nummer noch per Mail (Fehlermeldung: Postfach voll) zu erreichen. Als es dann gelang, per WhatsApp einen Kontakt herzustellen, war das Wichtigste für das Hotel, zu erfahren, wann wir nach 6 Nächten wieder auschecken. Selbst beim Frühstück wurden wir danach gefragt u. darauf hingewiesen, bei der Rezeption anzurufen,wenn das Housekeeping kommen kann. Das Management hatte kein Interesse, mit Gästen Kontakt aufzunehmen. Alles in allem zwar eine schöne Anlage und sehe schöne Villen, aber der Level an Servicequalität und Gastfreundlichkeit lässt für den Anspruch zu wünschen übrig.
