Hanung, his staff, Fern, the owners and everyone was hospitable. Very friendly and made you feel like you're at home. The bungalows were very clean and the view to the ocean was amazing. I would recommend for anyone that wants a private setting or even family friendly setting this is the place. They can help you with motor bike rentals to finding you a nice relaxing massage on the beach. We went about 12 minutes on motor bike to a nice cozy restaurant called mangrove where the food was delicious and you can rent kayaks. Or enjoy a little live music at slowbar with Top the bartender. Our overall stay in Koh Kood was amazing. Will definitely visit again soon. ☺️

We stayed at the Me Dee resort for 4 nights in early January in Lodge D16.

The Lodge was mediocre. It was clean and the AC was good. The mini fridge is helpful and the beds were comfy. It lacked storage space and was located next to the road, which can be noisy. The shower was absolutely rubbish (terrible pressure), and the lighting in the Bathroom was poor. We managed to get a look of Lodge next door which annoyingly was much nicer!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate and got drinks at the restaurant on a couple of occasions and the food was good, although both food and drink were slightly overpriced.

The breakfast provider was disappointing, the only good points being the Coffee and the freshly cooked eggs you can order. It lacked a few other items though.

The beach beds / furniture need some investment. Allot of it was dated, and falling apart, which means there’s a high demand for the limited ‘modern’ beds.

I think a 3 star review is fair. What you’re paying for is the location, which cannot be beaten - the stretch of beach Me Dee is located on is arguably the best in Koh Kood. That being said, I feel the resort needs some investment here and there, which would improve my rating.

Bad value for thee money

Nice and quiet beach but this is unfortunately only one positive in this resort. We paid 125 USD per night - for this price we received poor breakfasts, bad service during breakfasts. For drinks I´m reccomending next resort on the left side, for lunch and dinner I´m reccomending resort on the right side after big pier. We tried some food also in Medee, but portions were quite small and taste of the food wasn´t good.

Overpriced. Many improvements needed.

The hotel is located in one of the best locations in the island but it's totally overpriced for its amenities during high season. I can see it's a quiet new hotel and management/owner may not have much experience in hospitality and providing good services to guests.

The room is clean and neat overall. The bed is big and comfy. But it can be much better for this price. There can be more decorations, one or two paintings will help change the whole amposthere. Bathroom can be more stylish. No hairdryer is provided which they should definitely add.

Breakfast is a quiet big issue. The quality is poor. For the price I'm paying, I'd expect a variety of food for my selection. But the choices are very limited. The best thing was the eggs. They need to add more options. And improve the tastes of everything...or I'd prefer set breakfast that I can have something tasty and fresh made if doing a bigger buffet would be an issue for the hotel.

The owner and most of the staff need to speak fluenter English. The owner may want to learn more about hospitality. Food at the restaurant is good and barbecue food for dinner is tasty. But it takes a quiet long time for the food to be ready due to lack of enough Human Resources.

The managements may want to think well how to improve the hotel better. After all, it is located in one of the best locations and it's new. It just needs more passion from the management to make their pro poetry totally like a resort.

Amazing will definitely go back!!

Great hotel it's right on the beach and the beach was so clean and nice the rooms were excellent and cheap but the food and drinks at the hotel were pretty expensive and there motorbikes were much more expensive then other places around the island but besides that a great trip!

what a let down

I stayed here 2 nights, unfortunately 2 nights was all I could stand. The beach is amazingly beautiful, however the rest was pitiful, small room, broken bedside light, toilet which stank of sewer, Patio lights not working, and they only give you one keycard which means even the fridge turns off while you're out the room, so no cold water or beer when you get back to your room, aircon took ages to cool the room. staff barely spoke english, I pointed out the broken lights and bad smell in the bathroom, nothing was done about it. breakfast was dismal, eggs on toast was all I ate as there was little else. highly overpriced for what you get. I would seriously not recommend this place unless you dont mind being ripped off.

Wonderful place to relax

We arrived at the resort on a speed boat - jumped off into the beautiful clear water with our back packs and the hotel was right there, on the very beautiful beach. Paradise! The staff were very helpful and attentive. Good breakfasts and the food in the restaurant was lovely. They catered for me as a vegetarian by kindly adapting the meals.
The bungalows/rooms are compact but clean and well kitted out.

The only gripe I have is the stray dogs 😭
They're all hungry and some had obvious wounds/sores which needed urgent medical attention. It would be nice to see the resorts getting together to help these poor animals. As an owner of a dog, I find it quite hard to see. Maybe if enough people suggest it?!? I just hope that the owners don't chase them away due to these types of comments (I.e. out of sight, out of mind) as they need all the scraps of food they can get. Poor little things.

7 jours au top !

Superbe emplacement sur la plage de Tapao, sable blanc, eau claire et transats sous les cocotiers....Les bungalows sont impeccables et la literie est bonne. Le personnel à été très sympa. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était très bien, tout comme leur menu du restaurant. Pas de piscine mais elle ne manque pas...Je recommande.

Trivsam resort med maximal relax.

Resorten ligger på en strand bland en del andra resorter. Bungalowsarna är ganska små så två personer är max. Vi hade våran bungalow längst fram så vi hade en underbar utsikt mot trädgård och strand. Städningen var ok men ganska sent på dagen. Pool som stod i beskrivningen skulle finnas fanns inte. Inget problem för oss men kan vara bra att veta. Maten var också bra. Kan tilläggas att här är det relax som gäller, finns inte mycket att göra och kvällarna avslutas väldigt tidigt.

Notre séjour au Medee resort s'est très bien passé. La situation est excellente, au bord d'une plage très belle. les bungalows sont confortables, pas très grands, la salle de bain est très bien. Chaque bungalow a une terrasse avec fauteuils et table. Nous n'avons pas été à la piscine, pas d'ombre! Les petits déjeuners n'étaient pas inclus, on en a juste pris un, assez simple. les repas sont corrects. Juste un seul monsieur qui parle anglais à la réception, il est aimable et de bons conseils. Nous avons loué un scooter à l'hotel et réservé le transfert en bateau pour Trat. Tout s'est bien passé.

Запрашивали номер с 2 кроватями, но, к сожалению, нам отказали, хотя свободные подходящие номера были. А так пляж хороший, песчаных мошек нет, еда в ресторане очень вкусная.

Kleine, saubere bungalowanlage mit schönem Strand. Etwas abseits zur Straße, Roller notwendig. Bungalow war ok, wenig Ablage, Frühstück war ok, aber nicht berauschend. Leider haben viele Fremde die Liegen belegt, dadurch war es auch relativ laut am Strand. Abends war nichts im Restaurant los. Ansonsten familiär.

Het hotel lag aan een prachtig stuk strand. De Kamers waren comfortabel, royaal en erg schoon. Erg Fijn was de veranda grenzend aan de kamer waar je lekker kon zitten. Helaas vonden wij de service erg matig, door dat het super vriendelijke personeel erg slecht Engels spreekt en slecht is getraind werd heel vaak iets niet begrepen of verkeerd afgehandeld. Verder werd er ook geen service verleend aan het strand en de zonnebedden waren erg hard. Dit zijn punten die makkelijk verholpen kunnen worden alleen wij hebben dit wel als negatief ervaren. Als laatste wil ik een opmerking maken dat je van het zwembad niks moet voorstellen. Het water was viezig en de opzet ervan bevind zich achter in het park waar je nooit gaat zitten.

Couché de soleil et Phad Thaï d’exceptions

Le lieu se trouve au bord de l’eau est à des couchés de soleil exceptionnels. Nous avons passé 4 nuits à l´hotel qui était vide. Nous aurions aimé avoir une meilleure chambre même si celle que l’on a eu ne laissait pas à désirer. Les serveurs était très serviable et gentils. La cuisine exceptionnel avec probablement le meilleur phad thaï que j’ai pu manger. Les points négatifs sont le trop grand nombre de moustiques, l’hotel gagnerait à investir dans des anti moustiques. Le manque de confort des coussins et le fait d’avoir payé des doublons pour les repas à la fin du séjour nous ont empêcher de donner une note optimal à cet endroit qui reste superbe.

Point fort la plage ... pour le reste bungalow très petit, problème de robinetterie mais pas de.changement de chambre malgré un hôtel quasi vide...petit déjeuné inexistant à 380 thb..vu manager dernier.jour...
Personnel à part.un monsieur et la cuisinière le reste parle pas un mot d'anglais....location scooter 350 thb !!!! Horriblement cher au regard de la Thaïlande...de plus si vous désirez vous déplacer en véhicule taxi on t'annonce. 600 bath mais après tu comprend que c'est le véhicule de l'hôtel donc un service au client qui vous est facturé très cher comme pour vous apporte au débarquadaire 400 thb...En général. Sur l'île tous est cher et ca casse passe 3 patte à un canard.. ou si vous voulez être au top à ko kood c soneva kiri hotel ou high sea son mais min 300 e la nuit et là la.magie de Ko kood peut opéré sinon ts les autres hotel se valent juste que nous.ne sommes pas.de.clients juste des.ATM sur pied...très déçu. .pas merci Me Dee

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen. Super Strand! Auch das Restaurant ist genau am Meer. Die Zimmer sind klein aber in Ordnung. Kein Luxus, normaler Standard.

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett, verstehen wenig englisch. Die Chefin ist jedoch etwas unsympathisch und die Mitarbeiter haben großen Respekt vor ihr, was etwas die Stimmung drückt. Ansonsten alles perfekt. Preis Leistung ist ok - koh kood ist allgemein teurer.

Schöne gepflegte Anlage, Häuschen klein

Die Anlage ist sehr schön und der Service gut. Allerdings waren die Häuschen sehr klein, so dass die Klimaanlage zwangsläufig über dem Bett ist. Die unterschiedlichen Häuser scheinen nicht mit dem gezahlten Preis besser zu werden. Wir haben das mit anderen Gästen im Preisvergleich festgestellt.

Gemütliches Hotel am Traumstrand

Traumhafter Strand, wenig Menschen, sehr ruhig. Zimmer einfach eingerichtet, aber hübsch. Tolle Anlage mit Palmen und Pflanzen. Pool jedoch lächerlich und überflüssig. Essen im Restaurant lecker und preislich ok. Das einzige, was echt genervt hat war, dass die meisten Mitarbeiter absolut null Englisch sprachen, Verständigung war teilweise schlicht unmöglich, nur 2 Mitarbeiter sprachen ausreichend Englisch. Der Strand wirklich paradiesisch.

Ohne fahrbaren Untersatz ist man sehr begrenzt

Das Resort ist überschaubar klein, befindet sich in einem gepflegten Garten und liegt am schönsten Strand der Insel. Me Dee ist nur über einen unbefestigten, etwa 1,5 km langen Schotterweg zu erreichen. Wer nicht den gesamten Urlaub in der Anlage verbringeln will, auch in anderen Lokalen essen und im Supermarkt einkaufen möchte, der ist zwingend auf einen Roller angewiesen. Einen Roller kann man im Resort für 350 Baht pro Tag mieten (Inselhöchstpreis). Man bekommt ihn an anderen Stellen im Ort auch für 250 Baht. Aber nicht nur in dieser Hinsicht ist das Me Dee teuer. Es wird auch beim Frühstück, beim Abendessen und bei den Getränken heftig zugelangt. Wir sind die meiste Zeit ausserhalb in den Thai-Lokalen essen gegangen. Das Personal ist absolut freundlich, aber zeitweise unaufmerksam. Abfalleimer in dem Resort wurden trotz sichtbarer Überfüllung tagelang nicht geleert,die Duschlotion im Bad wurde nicht aufgefüllt, die Reinigung der Bungalows erfolgte sehr oberflächlich. Apropos Bungalow! In unserem Bungalow befand sich kein Kleiderschrank, keine Kommode, nichts, wo man etwas hätte ablegen können. Es war kein Safe vorhanden, kein Wäscheständer, keine Nachtschränkchen, keine Leseleuchten am Bett. Die Stühle auf der Terrasse waren absolut unbequem. Die Abreise war chaotisch, aber das ist halt so in Thailand.

Отдыхали в феврале. Хороший пляж и море, но на этом острове пляж и море везде хороши.
1.При заселении пытались заселить в худший номер, чем был заказан.
2. В ресторане пытались обсчитать на 400 бат, перестали туда вообще ходить, тем более меню скудное и дороже, чем в соседнем отеле, еда не вкусная.
3.При выезде перепутали время трансфера, мое имя для таксиста на пирсе на материке, кое- как убедили водителя, что он встречает нас.
4. Завтраки в отеле простые и все приемлемо, кроме хлеба для тостов, который почти всегда имел резкий запах перебродивших дрожжей и это опасно здоровья.
Отель имеет 18 номеров, ежедневно в 3-4 меняются гости и не понимаю, как можно все путать при таком малом объеме информации.Видимо создание хороших условий для отдыха гостей не главная забота персонала. Отдых был испорчен основательно. Рекомендовать отель не могу ни по одному параметру.

พี่พักล้อมรอบด้วยสวน ร่มรื่น มีสระว่ายน้ำด้วย ส่วนทานอาหารริมชายหาดเลย บรรยากาศดีสุดๆ ติดทะเลร่มรื่น เหมาะกับการพักผ่อน มากๆ หาดทรายขาวสวยงาม ทะเลใส มีสะพานไม้ให้กระโดด ให้ถ่ายรูป ถ้ามีโอกาศไปอีกครั้งแน่นอน

Schönes Hotel in Strandnähe

Aufenthalt war sehr schön, ruhige Oase zum entspannen, Frühstück war gut.
Service im Raustaurant lässt zu wünschen übrig. Bei dem Standard den man angibt kommt zu wenig rüber....
