Beautiful private beach, our beach bungalow was steps to the beach. Great spot for snorkeling with a variety of sea life. Food was excellent with very good prices. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Great spot.

Lovely resort. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Our booking was for 2 VIP seafront places. Where we were put was at the back of the beach area. The 2 rooms were next to each other. Looked like a shack instead of like the photos. Old tatty jacuzzi on front porch of our room. Very disappointing, so went to complain. The next morning they did move us further along. These rooms were much better, but still not like we had booked.

I had a wonderful stay at A-Na-Lay Resort Koh Kood. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow right on the shore, and waking up to the sound of the waves every morning was magical. The room was cozy, clean, and perfectly placed for a peaceful holiday.
Special thanks to Terk at the reception — always kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything. And a big compliment to Nam, the waitress, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. She made every meal feel warm and personal.
The atmosphere, the staff, and the perfect beachfront location made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

I was greeted by a very friendly staff and stayed in a very clean and modern bungalow located on one of the best beaches on the island , I would recommend it and will definitely be back ! Some the best snorkeling on the island is located at that beach and it’s a great beach for paddle boarding and swimming

Amazing looking resort,but so disappointing.Entrance surrounded by building rubbish, whole place in need of care. Room in great situation on the beach but in bad state of repair. Plug sockets hanging off the wall, leaking sink. Bedcover a small duvet but without a cover. Two towels each, neither very big and no beach towel. Pool green around the edges. Plus side one helpful receptionist . The worst place so far on a month of vacation.

Nice bungalow on the beach, a little worn off though. The location on the island is convenient as well since all the cool stuff is a short motor drive away. The food in the restaurant is good, but there are also a lot of great restaurants in the proximity. Breakfast was plentiful, but it would be nice if there was a bit more diversity - after a few days of eating the same breakfast it gets a little boring.

Pretty location that will not break the bank

We returned here after staying here 4 years ago. We really liked it then, and still like it a lot. Really nice location with comfortable bungalows, helpful staff, a lovely setting and a bit of snorkeling too.
But we are in Thailand, so of course \"same same\"! Still so much broken and old stuff lying everywhere, even at the entrance of the resort /-:

We had some difficulty initially trying to communicate from Canada that we wanted to shift our dates by two days. We arrived 2 days after we had initially booked. The manager had made the changes and instead of losing two night we were booked for the correct length of time. We ended up extending our stay by 5 days. The staff were all wonderful, helpful, friendly and attentive.

As others have said the resort is tucked away in a private bay with the opposite side being completely undeveloped. Great snorkelling and swimming with kayak rentals. Snorkel gear can be rented from BB Divers.

The food in the restaurant is good and there are lots of other options fairly close by.

We rented a scooter from A Na Lay which made exploring the island much easier.

Nice place, will stay again

This place has a lot of potential (as many reviews indicate) , but we liked it well enough to stay again. The beach is lovely and there's also some nice snorkeling straight from the beach.
Staff were all friendly and helpful too, so let's try and forget about the rubbish/broken equipment lying all over the grounds ): Difficult to understand why they don't just do a good clean-up.

My Fave Spot in The Island

We really had a great time here in this resort. Its a very nice spot with a pri ate bay hidden from the crowd and is enough for all the guests of the property even if they're fully booked. Overall great service and relaxing stay in the island and they're part of it. I actually call this property the Lil Hawaii of Thai IG:mikosgallery

Das einzig Positive ist die Lage des Strand, der Rest ist leider die reinste Katastrophe. Überall Müll hinterm Bungalow und am Strand. Der Bungalow war ganz schrecklich. Im Schlafzimmer weder eine Möglichkeit die Koffer zu platzieren. Ein Schrank für Kleidung war garnicht vorhanden. Die Kissen im Bett hart wie ein Brett. Ich habe 4 Tage als Kissen mein Strandlaken genommen, was bequemer war. Im Bad Schimmel. In den Pflanzbereichen nur vertrocknetes undefinierbares Gestrüpp, keine Möglichkeit Utensilien abzustellen. Ich habe mir mit dem Nachtisch aus dem Schlafzimmer einen Notbehelf errichtet, von der Sauberkeit des Waschbeckens ganz zu schweigen. Reinigung des Bungalows und Handtuchwechsel (1Duschtuch)nur alle 2 Tage. Das Frühstück hätte okay sein können, wenn die Schalen und das Besteck mal aufgefüllt würden. Sorry. aber das war echt die schlimmste Unterkunft die wir je hatten und dafür zu teuer.

Es war überall Müll, Matratzen, WC,
alte Badewannen direkt hinter dem Bungalows, stehendes Brackwasser,daher viele Moskitos,
beim Frühstück unaufmerksames Personal,schimmliges Toastbrot,das nur an den Seiten abgeschnitten wurde nachdem ich was gesagt habe.
Bungalows stark renovierungsbedürftig,vor allem das Bad.
Nicht sein Geld wert!!!

Der Bungalow war grenzwertig, insbesondere die sehr schmale Flügel Zugangstür und das Badezimmer. Beim Duschen stand das ganze Bad unter Wasser, da keinerlei Abtrennung in dem tiefergelegten Minibad war und somit Waschbecken und Toilette ebenfalls unter Wasser standen.
Treppe runter ins Bad sehr hoch.
Generell sind etliche Zeiten in der am Berg gebauten Anlage sehr hoch.
4 Kleiderbügel im offenen Schrank, kein safe im Zimmer.
Keine Möglichkeit Wäsche zum Trocknen aufzuhängen.
Frühstück einfach gehalten und sehr überschaubar

MAIS, l'environnement de l'hôtel très mediocre, pas entretenu, vegetation non entretenue, poubelles par endroits, les pontons sont entièrement à revoir. Car dangereux .
Les accès aux bungalows sont très difficiles,
périlleux pour des personnes d'un certain âge.
Par contre le personnel est disponible, serieux et agréable.
Très mauvais rapport qualité prix...

Vi var 2 par som rejste sammen og havde de to sammenhængende hytter yderst på stranden. Fantastisk udsigt og meget roligt. Værelserne var en fin størelse og en dejlig terrasse. Morgenmaden var rigtig god, dog ikke de store varianter, super god kaffe.
Maden på restauranten var middelmådig. Men der var en lille by med flere små restauranter og en shop en kort gåtur derfra. Det var muligt at snorkle fra stranden og der var masser af fisk og lidt koraler ved klipperne.Fantastisk ø og fantastiske strande.Lejede en taxi og kørte øen rundt, 6 timer for 16000 bath.

God beliggenhed og dejlig morgenmad

Ved første øjekast ser det skidt ud, men det vinder ned nærmere bekendtskab. Værelset pænt stort men kun 1 håndklæde pr.person,ingen håndsæbe ved vasken, der bliver kun gjort rent hver anden dag. Sengen er lidt hård, aircondition larmer. Terrassen er lækker med god udsigt, poolen er nogenlunde men mange knækkede fliser i kanten som er lidt farlige. Dejlig strand og god morgenmad. Der står at man får bøder for mange ting, men så det ikke ske.

Für den Zustand zu teuer

Bei der Ankunft wird man vom Bauschutt begrüßt. Anlage schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Teilweise wird aber bereits renoviert. Ist aber auch schon sehr notwendig. Unser Bungalow war von außen gut, innen aber sehr abgewohnt und nicht mehr Zeitgemäß. Lage super. Frühstück top!!

La plage à proximité de l'hôtel est fantastique, la personne à l'accueil est formidable, aimable et attentive à nos besoins. Tout le personnel est très attentionné avec les clients.
Les bungalows nécessiteraient peut-être une rénovation mais tout le reste est formidable.
Le prix est un peu élevé pour le niveau de l'hébergement.

Il resort è affacciato su di una baia splendida ,tranquilla, con un mare trasparente dove nuotare. Questo mi fa arrabbiare ancora di piú, ci vorrebbe davvero poco perché fosse un posto magico. Il giorno dell’arrivo insieme ad una signora francese abbiamo raccolto 2 enormi sacchi di plastica sparpagliata sulla spiaggia.
Fin da quando si arriva si vede plastica, pezzi di auto arrugginite , vecchie travi di legno ,insomma una discarica a cielo aperto che in un posto così bello lascia ancora di più l’amaro in bocca.
Altro appunto sulla colazione , scarsa di frutta, yogurt e di qualsiasi cosa per chi non mangia salato o bacon fritto a colazione….abbiamo anche ricevuto un’appunto dalla proprietaria perché secondo lei avevamo preso troppa marmellata …..

Gute Lage, gutes Personal, gutes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Ich habe ein kostenloses Upgrade auf das Zimmer mit dem Jaccuzzi auf der Terasse bekommen. Der Staff ist hilfsbereit und spricht gutes Englisch. Alles in allem ein sehr zu empfehlendes Hotel.

Hotel by potřeboval investici do vybavení. Děravé povlečení a plíseň v koupelně jsou jen malá část problémů tohoto hotelu. Hotel stojí na krásné pláži a zasloužil by svědomitější majitele.

Fin beliggenhed, men det er kun bungalows ved stranden, som er værd at bo i, morgenmad meget sparsommelig, en del brædder på broen der forbinder hotellet med stranden var løse, så man var ved at ryge i vandet, hvis man fik trådt på et løst bræt.det var ikke 900 kr pr overnatning værd, og der var kun rengøring hveranden dag. Det kunne blive et rigtig fint hotel, hvis personalet gjorde lidt i forhold til at holde rent i udendørsarealerne

Værelsernes og hotellets tilstand kan man Kan ikke anses som værende optimal. Mange små skader, utætte hytter, fugtskader og rådne planker.

Men, som så mange andre steder i Thailand, må man leve med det. Omgivelserne er
idylliske, de små hytter og den rolige strand, gør det et en dejligt sted at bruge sin ferie.
Vil derfor klart anbefale stedet til andre, man skal dog ikke forvente et luksus Resort.

Morgenmaden består af: toast, forskellige morgenmadsprodukter, omelet bar, frugt og nogle thailandske retter. Ikke det store.

Som en ekstra lille ting
- så er der ikke strandhåndklæder, så man skal selv have et med hjemmefra ellers må man klare den uden. Heldigvis er der solsenge nok.

Idyllisk resort

A-Na-Lay ligger idyllisk til ved en vakker nokså liten strand, hvor det alltid er god plass. Bungalowene er bygget svært vakkert inn i landskapet. Bygningene kan virke noe slitte, men er fortsatt rene og komfortable. Frokosttilbudet er meget godt. Jeg reiste mye rundt på øya, og det finnes resorts av både bedre og dårligere standard, men jeg fant ikke noe sted jeg opplevde som like idyllisk.

Wir waren 2 mal da, dazwischen eine Nacht im Horizon nebenan, weil nix mehr frei war. Beide Male hatten wir die günstigeren Bungalows ohne Meerblick. Beide waren unterschiedlich, aber gut ausgestattet, alles war in Ordnung, die Betten bequem, das Bad thailandüblich einfach, alles war funktional und auch sauber. WLAN und Strom war nicht 24 h sicher da, ja mei, dafür ist es noch nicht so überlaufen auf der Insel. Bevor man im Horizon bucht sollte man schauen ob hier was frei ist, drüben ist es teurer und weniger ansprechend! Das Restaurant bietet solide Thaiküche und anderes zu sehr akzeptablen Preisen, beim Frühstück gibt’s nix zu meckern, alles da und reichlich. Strand und Pool sind auch super, Schnorcheln an den Felsen bietet viele bunte Fischerl.

Riktigt bra.
Förstår inte dom som skriver att det är så dåligt att det inte finns stigar till rummet.
Detta är ju en ö inte inne i stan.
Bra hotell med kanon Strand och en underbar brygga med kristallklart vatten.
En av de finaste stränderna på ön då vi kollade de flesta.
Ligger även bra till inte så långt bort från allt som många andra hotell.
Fina rum också , vi hade garden view.
Jag skulle lätt åka tillbaka.

Hôtel en décrépitude, restaurant sale et dégageant une odeur forte désagréable …Piscine à éviter. Les photos ont été prisent il y a dèjà plusieurs années et ne reflète pas le resort aujourd'hui. L'hôtel n'est pas entretenu, quel dommage car le cadre est magnifique ! Mauvais rapport qualité-prix pour 50 € la nuit
