Great location close to other nice beaches, Seafar Resort beachfront is perfect for family with small children to swim. Great breakfast selection for everyone. Free water, coffee, tea, and toast & jam all day. Reception ladies speak great English and were very helpful. Free welcome drink, which was refreshing after a long day of traveling from Pattaya. Motor bike rental on site starts at 350 tbh- 450tbh/ day. Very lovely resort to stay at and relax.

Amazing beach, comfortable rooms, nice swimming pool and lounge area. Broken lock on my door which was annoying. I know I didn’t goon holiday to watch tv but 50 channels of Thai only TV is excessive. The option to watch a movie would have been nice.

They have a toast , tea, coffee and chocolate all day which I thought was great.
Make sure if you get beach front villa you ask for units 1-2 or 3 before booking.

Disappointing stay
Everything about the hotel seems unfinished which is rather disappointing. The rooms are very basic and unfinished with incredibly ugly decor and ceilings. There is no kettle or facilities in the rooms but they do offer free tea and coffee in the reception area. I’m not sure if it was because we stayed during the Christmas period but the hotel is very overpriced for the quality. There is no atmosphere in the hotel, the only evening that was enjoyable was Christmas Eve when they actually made an effort. One of the neighbouring hotels serves good food and has live entertainment. There is one lady on reception that is helpful but the other staff are not. The food at the barbecue on an evening is ok but everything else that we tried was terrible. The breakfasts were reasonable and a good selection to choose from. Don’t waste your money upgrading to the beach front properties as they are on the ugliest part of the beach so the view is very disappointing. The hotel is located on a nice beach so has the potential to be good if they trained the staff and made an effort.

We enjoyed five nights at the Sea Far resort of peace and quiet. It is situated on a lovely beach front, but also has a wonderful pool for times when the surf is big during the rainy season. We really enjoyed our coconut grove cottage and thought they were great value for money during the low season. Breakfast was great with lots of Thai and Western choices. We also ate all of our lunches and dinners at the resort. The highlight was hot pot! The only issue may have been ants in the bathroom forced inside by the heavy rain. Go to Koh Kood for some relaxed beach and island time and enjoy Sea Far Resort. As the Lonely Planet says you will have a hard time raising yourself from your hammock!

staff couldnt have been more helpful or friendly. The hotel was on a beautiful beach and has a lovely pool. The room was spacious and big comfy bed. we rented scooters to go around the island and located a few near by restaurants. The hotel did a great bbq on an evening. would love to come back!

Right on the beach - great place to stay.
A lovely place to stay on this island, right on the beach where the sea is clear and warm. The boat dropped us off right on the beach of the hotel. Staff are really helpful. The pool at the back of the hotel is great if you want an alternative to the beach. Mopeds are cheap to rent direct from the hotel and the roads are pretty quiet in case you're not confident on a moped. We went for a bungalow without seaview but were really happy with our choice. I'd definitely recommend and happily stay here again.

We really liked our stay there. Nice bungalow, nice beach and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is ok and you can rent a motorcycle if you want. Everything a little overpriced. One thing thing was really bad. At night one dog came to our veranda, blood was running out of his mouth. Somebody was poisoning him. We can't help him anymore . Half an hour later he died. But this was the only bad thing what I can say about this resort. We stayed 5 nights in the coconut garden.

Nice pleasant stay.
Lovely location next to the sea. Nice welcome from the lady at the front desk and introduced us to some of the sites around the island. Very friendly and helpful, as a result we booked a snorkling day trip through her. The food was good at the hotel although the kitchen didn't have everything that was on the menu. This could've been due to the low holiday season however that should be irrelevant. The service for food wasn't up to the standard of the hotel, although polite you had to work to grab their attention if you needed them.

Am Boden auf der Fensterseite vorm Bett unzählige Miniameisen ( wir hatten null Lebensmittel mit uns ) die es sich nicht nehmen ließen vereinzelt durchs Bett zu laufen.

Wir hatten einen Beachfront Bungalow mit Whirlpool. Der Bungalow hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Direkt am Strand, mit eigener Terasse und Liegen, eigene Kaffeemaschine und der schöne Whirlpool im Bad. Der Strand, das Meer und die Insel sind ein Traum. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Restaurants und man kann sich direkt am Hotel einen Roller mieten.
Der einzige wirkliche Negativpunkt ist das Frühstück. Es gibt nur Filterkaffee und der ist meist leer und wird nur auf Nachfrage widerwillig nachgefüllt. Allgemein könnte das Personal beim Frühstück zuvorkommender sein.

Kleines Hotel an einem wunderschönen Strand, aber die Zimmer (Garten Bungalow) sind wirklich sehr abgewohnt und das Bad eigentlich eine Frechheit. Das Frühstück ist nicht besonders gut und teilweise stehen die Sachen den ganzen Tag in der Wärme (Butter/Marmelade).

Hotel liegt für uns am schönsten Strand von Koh Kut. Anlage ist eigentlich super. Nur die Beachfront Bungalows sind doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und den Preis nicht wert. Hier bezahlt man vorallem Lage und Aussicht.
Das ist aber auch der einzige Kritikpunkt. Ansonsten war alles für uns perfekt. Hervorzuheben sind auch die super netten und jederzeit zuvorkommenden Angestellten. Waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal für eine Woche dort und wir werden wieder kommen.

Super Lage am großen Strand, Kajaks, Schnorchel und Motorroller sind zum Ausleihen vorhanden. Die Bungalows sind geräumig und haben bequeme Betten. Hatten eine super Zeit. Ein paar Details hätte ich zu bemängeln: z. B. Es gibt an den Fenstern oder an den Betten kein Moskitonetz, außerdem sollten bei einem Doppelbett an beiden Seiten eine Nachttischlampe vorhanden sein, finde ich.

Located at 15 km from the port a nice area with aquarium fishes and coral ! food And drinks could be less expensive and better prepared ( grilled fish ) but the overall is good ( service / infrastructure etc ) and u are by the sea nezrly on the beach nd its quiet

Super freundliches Personal. Tolle Anlage, sehr schöner und gepflegter Strand. Die Bungalows am Strand sind zwar schon in die Jahre gekommen, aber allein wegen der Lage zu empfehlen. Toller Ausblick. Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Jeden Abend wurde gegrillt. Die Strandbar bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre, zu jeder Tageszeit. Es empfiehlt sich einen Motorroller zu mieten, wenn man das Resort verlassen möchte um z.B. Abends wo anders essen zu gehen. Da es allein zur Hauptstraße fast einen Kilometer ist. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren 10 Tage in diesem Resort und uns hat es einfach super gut gefallen. Wir hatten einen Gartenbungalow. Zweckmäßig eingerichtet aber sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist traditionell thailändisch/ amerikanisch. Ansonsten war das Essen aber super lecker. Wer auf Schnitzel mit Pommes wartet ist hier falsch. Das Personal dort ist unheimlich nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einmal eine Rollerpanne und uns wurde sofort ein Ersatzroller gebracht.
Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht der ist in diesem familiären Resort bestens aufgehoben. Der Strand ist wunderschön!! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir würden immer wieder hinfahren!!!

Könnte besser geführt werden
Leider hat ein Unwetter den "Strand" weggespült. Es wäre schön, wenn der Strand, der zu keinem Resort gehört, gereinigt werden würde. Es gibt keinen Mangel an Angestellten. Wenn man kein Thaifrühstück mag, ist das Gebotene sehr dürftig.
