On arrival the staff was very friendly and efficient and i reached my room in no time. The room was larger than i expected and with a nice view over the city and SM right across the street. The room was fine, AC efficient, the bed perfect. The toilet room could use a new mirror but soft from that clean and fine.
I was too exhausted to go out for dinner and decided to try out the on house restaurant. I was the only guest there but the baby ribs with mashed potatoes were perfectly cooked, exactly what i was after this evening.
The breakfast was not included in my booking but it was possible to pay for it in the restaurant. The food offered was mostly, only(?), filippino, with chicken, rice and other dishes. The was brewed coffee which I think not that many were drinking because it seemed to have been brewed since time ago and been left standing. The morning coffee is important! There was also a dessert which I believe was made from coconut and like jelly. It was good.

Comfortable cozy room with a microwave, refrigerator, a small sink a queen bed and a single bed. AC worked fine. Bathroom had hot water shower and a bidet with toiletries. Room safe came in handy. It fit a small laptop. The view on the 20th floor of the city was nice. Parking was easy access. The pool was perfect for a short swim after a long humid day. The gym was small but adequate for treadmill and cycle use; no free weights.

The hotel itself is nice, Diversion road is always busy and not much sound barrier. No smoking allowed in the whole city. So if you smoke and get caught you get a fine. It makes you feel like a criminal for smoking cigarettes.

Directly across from SM City mall is super convenient. Clean and nice but the emergency light battery was dead. Breakfast was mediocre but plentiful (don't purchase with booking, it's cheaper onsite). I'm giving factual criticism, but I have no serious complaints and would be happy to stay again.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Building imoverall is clean but old and in significant need of a facelift. AC in gym was not functional and I felt like the treadmill was on its last leg. The mall and esplanade were in close proximity so that was a plus. Grab works well in Iloilo and the city is fairly easy to get around.

Didn’t make use of breakfast facilities - A/C was a little noisy, but worked adequately. Water pressure to shower and hand basin was disappointing. Staff were excellent - couple of minor issues we experienced were resolved within a few minutes. Overall, a nice hotel to stay for a few days.

The hotel is nice, clean and the staff were friendly. It’s also at a very accessible area. However the hot water machine wasn’t working although maintenance came very quickly, but it happened twice, the second time I was in the middle of showering. Apparently the thermostat is broken so the fuse kept giving up. I applaud the staff for immediately fixing it, ready for the next customer. Overall our stay was great

Title: A Comfortable Stay at Injap Hotel with Room for Improvement

On August 10, 2025, I checked in at Injap Hotel. The room I stayed in was perfect—it offered a beautiful view overlooking SM City Mall in Mandurriao, Iloilo City. The staff were friendly and approachable, and any request I made was handled swiftly and professionally.

I would like to specifically commend a staff member named Kent. He was hardworking and very accommodating, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

However, there are a few concerns I’d like to raise:

Air Conditioning: The unit in my room seemed quite old and could benefit from an upgrade to improve comfort.
Lunch Presentation: The meal I ordered was served in a typical take-away container with plastic utensils, which felt underwhelming for a hotel setting.
Reception Area: I noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet near the reception, which detracted from the overall ambiance.
Despite these issues, my stay was generally pleasant, and I appreciate the hospitality shown by the staff.

During check in time, the receptionists took a pictures to our passport from her personal phone. The reason was for the record purposes, she didn’t understand the data protection. 1. The reception didn’t ask for consent before took the picture to our passport from her personal phone.2. The facility didn’t have scanners or copying equipment for records purposes.
During booking the room I send a message possible lower floor due to my husband vertigo. The receptionist give us a room in 16th floor which my husband have a vertigo due to heights. I ask for lower floor she gives 12th floor instead. The lift take ages or very slow at least 5mintues if your are in higher floor, no any aircorn in the corridor and lift. When we enter the roomwe check, the mirror need change because the edge is fading can tell is very old mirror, the top need to change because is old already fading the chrome of the top, the shower glass need to clean properly lots of water scale need to change as well can tell is very old glass. The wall paper where the tv need to change the edge coming off. The window need to clean is very dirty outside and need to change too. The whole building must have a sound proof because by the main highway very noisy, entire stayed we haven’t slept at all. Also we can hear the next room having something *** due to no sound proof and no privacy at all. I write more about this hotel but no point. I rather not to recommend this hotel to anyone and I will never come back again.

This hotel is in a great location—very accessible to public transportation and right across from SM Mall and plenty of dining options. My room was clean and organized. It was cleaned everyday with drinking water bottles provided. And the most impressive are the staff. Very professional and friendly. They are readily available and willing to help with any needs you may have. SM City is literally across the street from the hotel and a 7/11 in the building. I highly recommend InJap Tower Hotel.

This was our second time staying at Injap Tower, and we really love the staff. They’re friendly and go above and beyond—helping with bags all the way from outside the property up to your room. The location is also unbeatable, right across from SM City with easy access to transport.

We did experience an issue with our first room, where the sink was leaking underneath and caused a strong smell of humidity due to the wooden cabinet. It was surprising that this wasn’t noticed beforehand, especially as returning guests. However, the staff quickly transferred us to another room without any hassle, and everything was fine from there.

Despite the small hiccup, the service and convenience keep bringing us back!

This was my third time staying at Injap Tower Hotel. I'm from Canada and I was in and out of Iloilo and initially only booked my first few nights there, thinking I might try a different hotel after returning from Boracay and Palawan. But I ended up coming back to Injap—because they were incredible. The staff truly stand out. They always greet you with a smile, open doors, help with your bags, and even press the elevator buttons for you. They’re alert, attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy their work. The receptionists were especially kind, friendly, and understanding throughout my stay. The rooms are on the smaller side, which made things a bit tight with our two large suitcases and backpacks, but we managed fine. One huge plus was that the concierge kindly stored our luggage for a few days while we traveled to other islands—very convenient and appreciated.

While the property could use a little refresh in places, everything was clean and fully functional. The location is fantastic—right across from SM City Iloilo—with easy access to taxis, tricycles, and jeepneys just outside the door.

I would definitely stay here again!

The wall paper was peeling off on its ends and sides and desk and counters had cracks...a shame, really that this place had been let go, as the location is very ideal and food is reasonably priced.

A basic hotel in a convenient location.

One of the first multi-story hotels in Iloilo City almost a decade ago. It is beginning to show its age now, and is consequently in need of renovation/redecoration and repair. The car parking is up a very narrow driveway and the ceiling height is too low. (The radio antenna broke off as I was reversing out of a very confined space!) The breakfast was limited and cheaply made. The main dishes for breakfast were rarely replenished as they ran low. A bonus is the view from the dining room on the 11th floor. A further advantage of this hotel is that it sits opposite SM CITY.

I like the responsiveness of the staff. Staff are very respectful and friendly.
I did not like the over used and very very old towels. The towels at one point were very very thin and obviously old. It resembled like a ready to toss rug. Towels are always late. When you need them .. staff apologize and says they are still on laundry and will be available at 5 pm.
Elevators are very slow and very hot and warm when you are inside. From ground floor to the 16th floor I am already sweating.
The desk and furnitures need to be replaced. The desk top are chipped, cracked and not level.

The Injap hotel is well located with good access to shopping and dining. The view from the dining room on the 21st floor was stunning. Hotel staff from reception desk, security personnel, restaurant wait staff and housekeeping were all very friendly, respectful and helpful with lots of smiles. The room was small, old and very basic but clean. The restaurant menu needs improvement starting with the breakfast buffet to the dinner offerings. Overall, I would stay here again mainly for the friendly staff.

The hotel is just in front of SM Iloilo and there is a bridge that you can use to cross the busy street. In front of it is also this one whole complex of restaurants for dining. The hotel is a member of 101 chains of hotels. They provide basic amenities including two pairs of slippers and dental kits. Most small hotels do not provide these items. Beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. The airconditioning system is a window type and they have a remote. The bathroom though needs some deep cleaning and repairs as it shows signs of aging. All in all, the hotel provided me a good nights rest and I will stay here again if I got the chance to visit Iloilo in my next travels to the Visayas area.

The total area of the property is all conveniently well done, I knew this is a perfect place to go around the malls. Unfortunately, the facilities and bed linens are so terrible, bedsheets are ripped, limited towels in the bathroom. I like the area so convenient, staff are amazing.
