Perfect location! I was able to walk back and forth from the hospital to visit my family member. Everything needed was within walking distance, restaurants, grocery store and of course the hospital as I mentioned. I highly recommend this hotel for that reason. Besides that, it was clean, quiet, staff was friendly and breakfast was included, with many selections including fresh fruit, bagels and eggs

We have used this Hyatt at least once a year for a number of years on our way to New Jersey because we like Fredericksburg and in previous visits we have enjoyed our stay.
Unfortunately, this year we were awakened at 1:00AM by the sound of dogs barking and children shouting and again at 7:00AM for the same reason. When we commented to the front desk, we were told that the second floor was for children and pets. Being in our 70's we had neither.
The only remedy we were offered was a note in our file for future stays not to put us on the 2nd floor. Not much of a remedy for the inconvenience.

The room was OK, with a lot of room. TV and Internet were good. Parking was a problem. I had to park rather far away across a busy street. But the main problem was at night I could not find this Hyatt and had to drive all over the place until I finally got to the Hyatt with help from my GPS. The problem is that the hotel's sign (\"Hyatt\") was way up in the air, where I don't usually look. I should be able to see the name of the place by looking straight at it. Instead when I look straight I don't see Hyatt; I see instead Beltone. I needed a place to stay; I already have hearing aids that I use.

I loved staying at this hotel. Great location close to downtown. Friendly staff and clean facilities. I used the gym and the weights were all new, there was refillable water, and the treadmill worked. A lot of places will cut corners on these things. Also enjoyed the tea bar and coffee in the room.
