Singular's White property is absolutely beautiful, including the views and pool, and our guest room was unique and quiet, and had a very very comfortable bed (and we also got the room with the big tub - which was special!). The staff is truly excellent; they accomodated us on any special requests and provided great recommendations. The food was tremendous, both at the White property and its sister SB resort (compliments to the chef!), as were the friendly and hard-working servers (particularly at White, where we stayed). The location of White is convenient to many attractions via short car rides, so we recommend renting your own car (which we did and loved the experience and freedom) or otherwise coming prepared to pay for all of your rides around the island (i would note that there were a couple of beaches close to White which may have been walkable, but we did not visit them ourselves since beaches were not on our agenda - however, if you prefer a beach on location, you could check out the sister SB resort).

The only ding I can think of is that there were a few dead insects found in our room throughout the stay; this was not an issue for us personally - since they were dead and we understand the reality of them being from SC, USA - but it is possible that a particularly demanding guest might whine about it.

A lovely small complex where the staff are very friendly and are very helpful. They provide advice and information to get the best out of your visit. The location was quiet though still close to Ponta Delgada. It is right on the sea front with great views out to see. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious.
Sao Miguel is a beautiful island with many great locations to visit.

We had an amazing stay at White from Jan 31st to Feb 4th. The service was excellent. We were provided with a mobile phone to communicate with the hotel staff when off the property. The included breakfasts were delicious. The ocean view from our room was stunning and the sound of the waves had us very relaxed.

Staff and the hotel were great. However being an adult only property, we were woken up by a baby and had to have breakfast with a family was not the quiet morning I was looking forward to. The staff explained its because the sister property was closed. This felt like their upgrade was my downgrade for what I paid for.

A delightful hotel with wonderful staff, rooms, food, and incredible views. The magical sounds of the ocean crashing into the shore were the perfect lullaby. Sao Miguel is amazing and the people of the island are lovely. We came tired but left relaxed and energized. From start to finish we loved our stay at the White Exclusive Villas. Sara welcomed us excellently, we felt immediately relaxed yet amongst nature. The breakfast was outstanding, we also had an evening meal there and we loved the food. When we come back to the Azores, we will stay here.

A place that lives up to its positive reviews!

I stayed here for a solo trip, and I was extremely pleased. The hotel rooms have been recently renovated and are spacious and aesthetically pleasing. My hotel room was cleaned thoroughly everyday. My room (including most - if not all) opened out onto the deck overlooking the sea.

Breakfast was included with a nice selection.

Staff were friendly and super helpful every step of the way. Some nice additional touches include:

1) A cell phone was provided with my room to use during my visit. Daily suggested trip itineraries were texted to the phone.

2) Grey towels were provided for use at the hot springs.

3) Breakfast was packed for my early morning flight.

I definitely recommend staying here! The capital is only a 15 min taxi ride away.

The view of the property was breathtaking . Staff were very friendly . Quality of breakfast was good but very careful with the serving portions. We were staying at junior suite , room was very small and very inconvenient, the side tables were a block , no drawer .

Amazing experience. From the unbelievable setting, to the gorgeous property and incredible food, it was the stay of a lifetime. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Sao Miguel, stop looking and book this property. I cannot say enough good things about it. From the first moment we got there, the customer service is unmatched.

The food was delicious, breakfast is included and was our favorite part of the day. Room was clean, comfortable, and included everything we could possibly need. Staff was extremely friendly and helped us plan where we should go during the day. We stayed a week and it was hard to leave this beautiful property! We went in the winter (January), so the weather wasn’t ideal but they have space heaters on the patios/heat the pool etc to make it more comfortable. We will be back!

This property is truly one of a kind. Stayed 8 nights and it wasn’t enough. There are only 10 rooms so felt quite exclusive. We stayed in the villa and it’s definitely our top 3 resort stays and we travelled a lot. The ambiance of the place should be 10 stars. The great service started before we arrived. The manager João and receptionist Heloise were exemplary and made sure we had the welcome we desired. We were always happy to see Heloise beautiful and welcoming smile. Joao was always around checking in to ensure you were having a memorable stay. Marlene, Flavia, Andre were servers who helped in making our stay memorable. You get my point. The staff is amazing. There is a lovely lady at front desk wears glasses (can’t recall her name) loved her as well. This hotel is wasaaaaaaay more exclusive, ideal and beautifully appointed that you can imagine. The photos do not do it justice. You will not be disappointed.

Stayed here for six days for our honeymoon and absolutely loved the island and the hotel. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions for things to do and restaurants. Our room (ocean suite) was lovely and so comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant once and highly recommend it. Overall, it was an amazing stay!

Amazing hotel, well located in Sao Miguel Island. Close to Ponta Delgada and only a short drive from other tourist destinations throughout the island. Staff was helpful, food was incredible. The view, amazing. Brand new hotel. We loved falling asleep to the white noise of the ocean crashing on the rocks. What a lovely hotel!

The customer service was excellent! It was a good location and you can tell they take pride in what they do! It was some of the best customer service we’ve had on our trip. One area of concern though, was the price of the dinner. Make sure you confirm the price of the meal and drinks before you let them serve you. They are happy to do so without telling you how much it costs, but you may regret not getting a meal from town for a 1/4 of the price. That was our only negative in the whole experience. Though, a costly one for sure!

We could not get enough of this hotel, and our only regret is not staying longer. Our check-in was personalized and so helpful. The room was beyond beautiful, and we were so happy with the view. The pool and patio area with the firepit was just gorgeous, and we spent every night out here enjoying the ocean views. The cocktail menu was so yummy, and there was one drink we could not stop ordering which I can’t remember the name of, but had orange in it. We did participate in the special dinner that had 5 courses and it was also delicious and the chef was so accomodating with our food restrictions. We also loved the location. It was close to everything , and parking was also relatively easy. We will tell anyone we can that THIS is the place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful in every way. Restaurant is a very private ‘in-house only’ experience with no set menus ..... BUT the resident chef is outstanding and creates different dishes on a daily basis with only the freshest and local ingredients including specialities from the other islands. Just let receptionknow in the morning if you would like to dine in that night.
Definitely need to hire a car to see this beautiful island and all the different experiences it offers. Excellent team work from the best staff. Would return without a doubt.

Really friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The view of the Atlantic ocean is gorgeous and the location is convenient to exploring the island if you have a car. We stayed in the villa that had a private hot tub overlooking the ocean, which was extremely nice on some crisp November evenings. There are not many restaurants nearby (although there is a restaurant onsite), so we often drove to Ponta Delgada (~15min drive) for dinner outings. Overall a very nice experience!

This is a beautiful lication by the ocean in Lagoa. Friendly staff, non-intrusive, and efficient. Our room stayed clean, and stocked with the best smelling towels! The ocean outside our door was awesome, and we could walk into Lagoa for dining or groceries (think awesome port!). This was a great launch pad for our drives and hikes, but would be excellent just to stay and relax by the ocean. No complaints, a”it was ideal.
