There are problems with the building itself that cannot be addressed even by Japanese management.
but,

Staffs were so well-trained, friendly, and helpful that I stayed there with very good feeling. Duty manager, team leader, staffs, everyone was very nice.

1. Window in the first room I got in had some gap between glass and frame so some noise from outside unit of refrigerator for hotel restaurant was a little disturbing. Then, their action was very quick. They sent an engineer to my room to fix the window problem even though it was at night. Even though he could not solve it perfectly at last, I was amazed by hotel's quick action and his nice attitude. On the second day, Ms. Kathy helped me find the most quiet room from some rooms available on the day by going around with me.

2. When my PC got power problem, male staffs at front desk were smart and found out which part had a problem. Then, they helped me find a cable for PC by telling me which shop to go and the price. Exactly at the shop, I got the one I needed.

3. A female staff at front desk kindly taught me that using taxi would be cheaper than Grab to go to and to come back from Hoian. If those staffs had not been that friendly, I would not have gotten that information.

4. All the staffs including front desk staffs, cleaners, maintenance engineers, and restaurant staffs was saying \"Xin Chao (Hello)\" to every guest whenever they saw any guest. Nice and cheerful feeling did I get by them.

5. Convenience store is just in front of the hotel.

6. Very easy to get taxi there.

My room was nicely decorated and had a big TV with BBC World. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of Asian and Western breakfast foods. I loved the silver dollar pancakes. The only thing that I didn't like was that if you want more coffee, you can't get it yourself from the buffet. You have to ask a waiter or waitress (and sometimes they're busy). A highlight of my stay was being served at the front desk by a staff member named June. She spoke good English and gave me useful tourist information, like which restaurants sell local dishes.

Good hotel and reasonable rate.

This hotel provides better breakfast. A building looks a little bit old, but not bad. The most wonderful thing that I experienced in this hotel is a massage. They offer 30% off for massage programs in the morning. Anyway, we had a great time at this hotel, and my wife is willing to stay again.

Excellent staff providing caring, warmest and sincere services and advises. We enjoyed staying in this hotel very much. The onsen and sauna are so great and clean. We enjoyed it twice a day after swimming. Besides, the location is good and we can have a leisure stroll along the riverside in every evening. Superb!

It does mention they have Airport Shuttle, but only to be restricted by a limited timetable. When I tried to book a return trip to airport, we were told to book on the day we were leaving, Yet on the day we were told there is no pre-booking or shuttle itself and suggested we take taxi directly.

Awesome place!!

Awesome place! Service is wonderful. I love that everyone says hi to their guests. The shuttle idea to their resort near Hoi an is amazing!! Loveee that place its soo nice and beautiful! The pool and japanese spa at the hotel is pretty cool. The only thing was that you can hear everything from the hallway! Either wall is too thin or people were just too loud. But overall i highly recommend!

Fantastic staff in a good hotel, central location

We had a most fantastic stay at the Grandvrio hotel. We stayed for 5 nights while we explored Da Nang and were extremely happy through out.

It started with a friendly and efficient check in (amazing staff) and then we had an ideal bedroom on 4th floor with a very comfy bed and pillows (I’m very fussy about a good mattress and this ticked my boxes)

Breakfast was good, many Asian choices but the hotel caters for many Korean tourists so that is to be expected but I was happy with egg station each day. A tip though is to go for breakfast later (after 9am) when the restaurant is calm and a relaxing place to be ..... not so at 7.30am,, Trung the catering manager was yet another great member of staff who loved his job and looked after us very well (making is special Vietnamese coffee each morning)

I used the free Japanese bath and sauna and was luckily enlightened o have it to myself.

The management should be very proud of their young but amazing team of staff

I would return to this hotel and not look at any others if I return to DaNang

Honest good hotel, strong value for money

Great confortable hotel, the staff especially Dong was very nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean, I had plenty of warm water in the showe.Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of local and continental choises, I liked the fresh fruit on on the spot egg cooking. The pool is nice but small. Very good experience, will book again.

Great hotel, spa and relaxing, poor location.

We checked into Grandvrio city for one night after having to re-arrange our schedule due to an issue with Viet trains (another story). The hotel offered an inclusive spa, onsen and a pool which came as a welcome relief as the previous hotel close to the beach at a similar price had limited facilities and poorly trained staff.

Grandvrio lifted our spirits and experience in Da Nang, from the welcome fruit cocktail, polite and helpful staff, to the international cuisine in the large breakfast area. The only downside was the location, in the city with very few amenities close by, the most interesting places (including the beach area) a short taxi ride away. If we ever visit Da Nang again this will be the hotel we will book.

This is one of the best hotels I have lived in. The entire team of people working there are so hospitality and treat you like family. They are always welcoming and do heir best to make ur stay absolutely fabulous. We loved it so much that we stay an extra 2 nights. Once we knew we were vegetarian they went out of their way to make us some local vegetarian Vietnamese food which was yumm. They even help in organising the day trips and give u very good rates for the same. The spa and Japanese bath is really good as well. look forward to going back.

The staff is friendly, from the front desk to the maids and maintenance workers. Dung at the front desk was lovely. The hotel is clean as are the rooms. There are many breakfast options and they are well prepared.

The location was perfect for our needs. There is a fantastic restaurant, rated one of the best in Danang, 2 blocks away. There are a number of ATM machines around the corner and a mini-market for extra water, snacks forgotten items like nail clippers. Taxis queue in front of the hotel. There are many moderately priced restaurants within walking distance. The water is 2 blocks away.

The hotel is on the northern edge of the more busy shopping/eating area, but is overall walkable and accessible. You can walk along the river at night.

Great place in the city center.

We checked out of another hotel that we had booked because it was not clean enough. This was a very last minute booking while sitting on the dirty couch of our original hotel.

This hotel was a huge upgrade. It was 3 times more expensive than our first hotel, and if you're coming from Saigon/HCMC Da Nang will give you a bit of sticker shock, but we found it to be well worth the cost. I felt sick one of the days and I was so glad to have a clean room, comfortable bed, and helpful staff to get through. In the lobby they have cocktails and juices. They're over priced but convenient. Free scooter parking was a plus since we rented a scooter to go up to the marble mountains. Not too far from the river. Definitely city center so if you're here for a beach vacation this is not your spot. But if you're a city person like me, this puts you right in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

Our experience was amazing! We stayed two nights here. The staff was helpful and friendly, willing to deal with our concerns and questions. The room is clean and the bed is really spacious. The breakfast was excellent as well. The only disadvantage is that it is a little bit remote from the heart of the city but overall it deserves such excellent reviews.

- Bad soundproofing, hotel was filled with Korean tour groups while we were staying for a work trip, so while they were up late having loud conversations in the corridor because they don’t actually have to work the next morning we did.
- Toilet bowl had blood in it when we returned for our second night... not sure why.... toilet smelled bad.

Beautiful hotel . Delightful staff particularly Dung who was so friendly & interested in what we did . Both Dung & Chung are such a great asset to this hotel in their friendliness & efficiency. Excellent breakfast with exceptionally friendly & helpful dining room staff . Japenese restaurant next door first class for food but wine too expensive! We have never been as well treated as we were in this hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough .

Overall an ok 3-star hotel. However, we were put in the Asian/Korean section (probably because we are Vietnamese) and we had to eat Korean type of food for breakfast for 3 days. Furthermore, the shower/Bathtub is badly designed as when and after we take the shower, the water is everywhere on the floor. This seems to be typical of the Vietnamese hotel shower/bathroom design but nonetheless, it is disturbing to have a wet bathroom floor in this hotel.

Stayed 2 nights for the Onsen!

It was nice with the use of the Japanese styled hot baths, especially great on the cold rainy days. Staff were very friendly and warm, and let me leave my bags with them when I travelled to Hoi An. Thank you for the experience. Perhaps the only improvement would be to the bathroom if it could be better ventilated as it gets a little musty smell after use.

I got my room upgraded from Junior suite to King Suite.I find the staff is friendly and helpful.Next to the hotel there is a bank and a few restaurants. The Han River is just a walking distance.
Breakfast is quite good with local fresh fruits and a lot of option to choose from.
The front desk executive is very helpful in giving me tips where to go around, eating area and where to shop.
Overall a good experience.

The staff at front desk were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable too. Situated close to the waterfront for ferry rides and an evening walk alongside the banks. Lots of fine dining restaurants and shopping outlets were in short walking distance. Breakfast spread was good but very little for vegetarians like us. Hotel has a sauna and swimming pool which we couldn’t use due to our schedule.

お風呂に期待せず韓国人の騒音気にしない人なら良いです。

スタッフさんの教育がしっかりされていてよかったです。
チェックイン時に予約がないと言われ、電話して確認したりで30分待ち、これから部屋の掃除するので１時間外出どうぞと言われました。お風呂に入りたいと言うと案内してくれましたが、外で工事が始まり工事の車で動かす音と排気ガスが充満してとてもいられなかったです。結局すぐ出て夜、翌日と再度入ったけどシャワーのお湯がでなくて、重く取ってがない桶でお風呂のお湯を汲んで洗いました。建物が中庭を囲んでいますのでエレベーターから部屋まで歩く間の会話は丸聞こえ　奥の部屋だとそこに着くまでずっと聞こえます。部屋はドア隔てたすぐが廊下なので声が響くのは仕方ないのでしょうね。夜中2時に韓国人家族と大はしゃぎの子供の声が響き、朝方からは韓国人団体で賑わいました。

Staff at rhe hotel were extremely helpful, approachable, efficient and attentive.

Breakfast selection was varied, well presented and all of the food was good quality.

Our room was well appointed with a very comfortable (large) bed; high definition TV was a welcome addition.

The shower room was spacious, well finished and well maintained.

A communal outdoor seating area and small pool was a nice touch, adding a pleasant and upmarket feel to the hotel.

Overall a pleasant stay. Location is walking distance to the river. Excellent night views of the bridges and cruise. Room size for a king sized bed a bit small. Fresh clean towels. However, the walls of this hotel a bit thin. We could hear staffs talking loudly along the corridors early in the morning and was awaken by it during our stay. Breakfast is good. Service from the front office receptionist Lind and Tuan is good. Friendly and helpful.

Worth the money even super value

Everything is cool here. We are on a business trip to Da Nang, and we would like to choose a hotel like Grandvrio city that provide us an excellent service. You will feel to be respected when you come in or go out of the hotel, staff will always be polite and helpful. Facilities are good and easy to use, they have everything you need in a hotel. In additional, they will try to meet all your needs as far as possible. Check-in and check-out process will be pleasant and won't take too long time because of their high efficiency. I recommend this hotel to everyone who travel here for leisure or work. It absolutely worth the money.

I was greeted with warm welcome when I arrived and all the staffs are attentive with a smile.
They are helpful and provided full informations for my queries.
The hotel facilities are amazing especially the Japanese style bath tub- the pool was cool and the relaxing corner was a peaceful space to be after a tired day.
Not much time to slot into the Spa but I liked the scent of the area.
As for the room is marvelous, Eco-friendly wash and the bath foams were refreshing charming and beautifying.
The bed is a wow thing to sleep in plus the room comfort which makes me feel home^^
Another wow thing is the greetings during my breakfast and every staffs are greeting warmly to welcome everyone who walks in- great service for sure!
It's value for money, great home to be at and great smile sending to you round the clock!
This lady staff was one of the sweet ones and sincerely helping me both days check in and out.

Great stay at a bargain price.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a great sandwich restaurant around the corner. The breakfast had good fresh fruit and amazing noodle dishes. The few downsides were the aircon was a bit noisy outside the window. As well as being next to the lift. The pool was clean bit they could wash the flagstines next to the pool.

All in all we got a suite two rooms joined up. For the price of a small room at a big hotel.

古めで設備の老朽化が進んでおり、ところどころ汚く見えたり、掃除が行き届いていないところがあるが安いので許せる範囲。大浴場のシャワーの水圧が弱く、サウナも熱くない。大浴場目当てで行ったので少しがっかりだが、日本ではないので仕方がない。ホテルの目の前の韓国系スパは耳かきや爪切り、シャンプー、マッサージなど90分のコースがチップ込みで48万ドンでおすすめ。

翌日の夜中のフライトだったので、念の為に数時間滞在の為だけに一泊予約しました。雨の中、夫が体調を崩してしまったので、アーリーチェックインを受け入れて貰えて助かりました。
また、日本語を話せるスタッフさんが、親切に薬の買い方や薬局を教えてくれたり、スーパーについて行ってくれて、本当に助かりました。
彼女は５つ星です！本当にありがとう！貴女の親切は生涯忘れません。ベトナムの印象が、格段にアップしました。
大浴場も良かったです。ゆっくり休めて、夫も回復して、無事に帰国する事が出来ました。

部屋の水回りから換気扇のせいなのかたまに臭いが部屋に流れてくることがあったのが少し残念でした。
ホテルの問題ではないですが大浴場を利用する韓国人のマナーが大変悪く我慢の限界でフロントにクレームを入れたところ翌日からはとても綺麗な状態で大浴場を利用できるようになりました

素晴らしいホテル

ベトナム旅行1日目に宿泊しました。
二日目は別のホテルに宿泊しましたがあまりの酷さに再度、こちらのホテルを利用しました。
日系のホテルと言うこともあり、サービスを行き届き、スタッフの対応を素晴らしかったです。
温泉もあり非常にリラックス出来ました。
ダナンに来た際はまた、利用したいです。
ありがとうございました。

日本語のスタッフいましたが、毎日はいませんし困りました。観光などの手配も簡単にできず、タクシーの運転者では、私自身のスマホ翻訳機能うまく作動せず困り果てました。大浴場、エステなどは十分満足いたしました。日本でのグランヴィリアンの佐々木さんには、色々とお世話になりました、是非またダナンに行きたいと思っています。有難うございました。

やや賑やかな場所から離れているもののスタッフが本当にいいのと、ロビーが広く、簡単な打ち合わせも可能なので仕事の時には利用しています。以前に比べ朝ごはんのグレードが落ちているのが残念です。

ホテルのスタッフは、とても親切で好感が持てました。3/9-10にロビーにいた男性&女性のスタッフには色々助けてもらいました。また、ベトナムに来て1週間ぶりのお風呂に入れ友人共々大満足でした。花亭の焼肉は，もう少し高くてもいいので美味しい肉を出してもらいたいです。

歩いて街を散策したい人にとっては街中心から遠すぎる。
年季が入った建物のようで、室内にコンセントが少ない。湯沸かしポットのコンセントも近くになく、寝台横を使った。ライトを消すのも、棚の下に潜り込まねばならない。

日系のホテルということで温泉とサウナがあり、とても快適に利用できました、長期滞在で仕事もしていたので、部屋が静かで広く、机も確保できたのはよかったです。有名レストランのマダムレンには歩いて3分ぐらいで行けます。

Nice hotel with helpful employees. There was an employee who spoke Japanese. Laundry service is available. (100,000d) There are some restaurants around. A grocery store is just in front of the hotel. Very convenient.

There were unknown white bugs in my room. (Dead?)
They were on the wall and didn’t move like forever…
