There were many high quality features to this hotel, the room was very spacious with nice fittings and furniture.

I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet that had interesting and tasty items to choose from.

The staff were also excellent, and I had especially good service from Lucie who had great English and provided a lot of helpful information about things to see and do around the hotel.

Loved Lucie at the front desk who was such a lovely person, helping to organize the car rental out to Hue!

The reason for the lower rating was being located in front of the ballroom which lasted until 10 pm for most of the time I was there. Had to go out of the hotel during that time.

Nice hotel with clean, spacious and modern rooms and a great pool. Breakfast was decent, with a good rotation of daily options and local staples. The location is fine, but not the best to explore Danang - most nearby restaurants were closed around lunch time, and pretty much all major attractions (except for the dragon bridge and cruises departure point) are not within walking distance and require guests to take a grab/taxi to get to. Our biggest complaint about our stay has to be the staff whom, while always polite, quite agressively tried to get us to book overpriced tours and private transports around the city (the receptionist texted me twice on Whatsapp to ask if we would like to book a tour and lobby attendants asked what our plans were and if we wanted to book something through them or have them make a reservation for us at Madame Lân every single time we arrived at/departed from the hotel, which got tiring very quickly). The waitress at the restaurant also cleared out my table and let someone else sit in my spot the SECOND I got up to grab some fruits during breakfast on my second day. Overall quite pleased with our stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Everything was nice about this property but what stands out the most was our host and concierge Mya and Lucie who were very hospitable and warm since before we came to the property. From airport pick up until our last day, they took good care of us like family. I couldn’t give more praise for their service.

This hotel is a bit of a catfish. It’s obviously old there seems to be a lot of construction. There is no sound perfect can hear all the noise either from the street or any movement by the workers in the surrounding area. It is certainly not a four star hotel.

This was by far the nicest hotel that I stayed at. My room was very modern and clean. I’m shocked that this isn’t a 5 star. The breakfast was also really good and the area for breakfast was very clean and had beautiful views of the city. I also appreciated the concierge who helped me find a restaurant that served the one dish I wanted to try!

The hotel is beautiful and very well kept. Their rooftop bar and restaurant offers beautiful city scape views making it a relaxing place to have a drink after a long day. What stood out about my experience was the customer service from the ground floor staff especially. Mya and Lucie helped make our stay so convenient and put our mind at ease. They helped arrange private car rides and reservations for us, which was so appreciated during a short 2-day trip. The bellboys were so friendly and kind. 11/10 customer service experience!

Great stay even greater staff.

Lucie by herself has earned a 10/10 with her level of customer service. She offered trip excision ideas and options. Food recommendations and even walked me to view a couple of room options before I chose one.

The rooms are nice and modern on par with the bigger brands found in Marriott.

All of the staff were super kind and welcoming.

I’ll definitely come back I visit Da Nang.

Check in was a breeze and the hotel staff like Mya and Rose are super friendly and provided very clear information. Mya helped to book the transport for us to Ba Na Hills and even waited by the car and provided a bottle of water for each of us. She was always available to help when we needed it. Rose was another gem of the hotel. She provided us lots of info on where to visit and eat and guided us to the various types of coffee in Da Nang like coconut coffee and egg coffee which is available only at cafes (no instant coffee). She also gave us a photo of her father’s swear-by coffee which turned out to be 1 of the most the popular brands of coffee produced in Vietnam land it was really good.
We were so impressed that all the counter staff were friendly and speak very clear English and the doorman was also very helpful.
Tje rooms are clean and relatively spacious except that we got a low floor which overlooks the swimming pool so it gets noisy on weekends when the hotel is more crowded.
Breakfast spread is very good too.
The location of the hotel is very central and usually takes less than 10 mins by taxi to go anywhere except for faraway attractions like BaNa Hills and marble mountains. We use grab.
I will definitely stay here again if I visit Da Nang.

Me and my brother stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. We enjoy the service they provided to us and the kindness of the staff towards the guests are just exceptional. I would like to highlight a staff member (Rose) who helped us with the process with everything including transport to and from the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and I would encourage everyone to try this hotel.

Beautiful Hotel on the Han River

This hotel is nicely located near the Han River......night club next door which did keep us awake for two nights late into the night - that was unfortunate as the room was wonderful and the bed a delight! Oh well. My favourite part of the hotel was the staff. The Vietnamese are welcoming and apparently trained well in hospitality. There were three from the staff that seemed to go the extra mile and they were Rose, Felix and Hoa (spa) and Hoang (7th floor restaurant). But, honestly, the staff was memorable and such always makes for a pleasant stay. My wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and the hotel knew and decorated our bed upon arrival and gave us a delicious anniversary cake. It's the human touch that always makes a difference. We recommend this hotel - but, ask for a room in the back if you are concerned about the nightclub activity. Thanks all!

Really great property to stay in, the staff were very friendly and great. Best part of the hotel is their wide variety of breakfast selection (which tasted great). We spent the beginning of tet lunar with this hotel so it was great to see the preparations for the new year. Unfortunately I did not get to use much of their amenities but enjoyed staying the hotel itself. The room was quiet and the bed soft, the only downside to the hotel is the property’s location other to that I would strongly recommend this hotel.

The room was very well appointed and the bathroom was very spacious with a tub and shower. The hotel was new and had a beautiful floral scent. There was a glass floor around the breakfast buffet which made eating at this restaurant a very unique experience. Most of all, I felt supported and looked after by Rose. She contacted me before the trip with ideas on how to spend my few days in Danang. I was very unorganized but when she was able to book me activities and tours even on late notice. She arranged for early check in and even met me at the hotel entrance as soon as we arrived on the property. She was so amazing that even on very short notice, she managed to have a personalized birthday cake made and delivered to our hotel. Rose was so kind, genuine and helpful. She helped me even late into the evening to help prepare our itinerary for the next day. She made my stay in Danang so memorable as I never had anyone stay in touch with me the entire stay. I highly recommend this hotel and one would be so lucky to meet Rose and have her look after you.

I stayed here overnight as a break from taking the rail from Hanoi to Saigon. November isn't the best time to visit Danang as it was pouring down rain the entire time, but the hotel was a great experience! The breakfast on the top floor is fantastic and it has a great view of the city around it. The pool looks like a tropical oasis (even if it was cold to swim in). I did use the hotel car service to visit Hoi An, which was quite magical, even in the downpour, and to travel to the train station.

Pretentious, but vacuous, large hotel

After staying in an average of 90 hotels a year for some time, it was dissappointing to have to award this one as most patronising and condescending. We were treated with contempt and utter indifference by most staff from the moment we arrived. The vibe we got from the restaurant sent us across the road to a great little barbeque place. A private party was being prepared on the top floor, which we couldn’t access to assess for future stays, which of course will never happen.

I love the new orient hotel in Da Nang. From the moment you walked into a new hotel, you have a fear and doubt and want to verify that all the reviews are true to the fact. My personal experience prove that is true. New orient hotel is five star experience: staffs in the lobby is very kind and caring. They provided umbrella in rainy days. They opened the car doors with other hands making sure I do not hit the frame of the car when I hop in. Staffs in the second floor is kind and efficient. Especially a staff named Rose provided the chat/texting assistance service throughout my stay in hotel. She took care of me daily from if the room is feasible to my stay, travel maps, best time to visit han market, etcs. O was especially moved when she changed my room to a better location and place when I complained about the noise from party. She originally gave me a higher floor and shifted to a same level with quiet atmosphere. I think she provided me with the very best attitude. She represents what the new orient hotel is about. Last time, I stayed in vin-pearl waterfront. But I like this new orient hotel better in luxury room, cleanness, staff service, etc. i will come back next time to stay here again.

Great stay! It’s right off the river so it’s not super busy but still accessible. It is a quieter area which we liked because we travelled with a child. Walkable to a great restaurant Madame Lan. Within 5 min taxi to markets and malls nearby. Breakfast and and service here was excellent! They also had a great spa and nail salon just a couple doors down. If you don’t want too much hussle and bustle then this is the hotel for you. We upgraded to the suite and also received free airport pickup and spa vouchers. The spa was so great we visited twice!

My mrs was going to be much harsher in her review somi said leave it to me please for the hotels sake.here goes i will do my best to be fair.
Clean yes, building looks good in and out but here “looks are deceiving”
This hotel is safe, overall friendly check in and lobby staff good. the stay was ok the views good and lake view also good.
Semi indoor pool was freezing my mrs was not happy. Not a soul at the pool i wonder why???
Indoor pool side service = 0/10…not even at the bar with nothing in it to buy lmao.. 0…
Rooftop pool closed 7/7 days,0/10. Rooftop Bar area closed 5 out of 7 night a week.
Rooftop service when open slow and sad, not happy to be there the 2 nights they are open. 4/10..
We stayed 5 nights and we wouldn’t stay there again for more than 1 night sorry. Felt like skeleton crew with phones in front at all times.
We paid just under $200 aud a night and got much better 5* hotels with grand service for less in our 1 month stay in vietnam. This hotel was the biggest disappointment for us out of 6 5* hotels. I must be honest sorry.

Also, something beeped in the room when I checked in then on the second night the AC started to make noise, I couldn’t sleep well. The staff was very friendly and helpful though.

Stayed here 5 nights with family in 2 rooms and totally enjoyed our stay. Hotel is walking distance to a few really nice restaurants serving Vietnamese and other Asian food. It’s also close to the Han River ferry terminal, if you plan to see the Dragon Bridge from the water on weekend. All the hotel’s staff are especially friendly and helpful, particularly Felix and Johnny at the concierge’s desk. Front desk’s staff were very helpful when we asked to change our rooms after the first night due to noise from the night club downstairs. Breakfast buffet has a wide selection and changes daily. We rented motorbikes through hotel to go to My Khe beach and the way is straight forward over the Dragon Bridge. City is motorbike friendly and it’s more fun than using rideshare. We highly recommend this hotel but request rooms away from the night club.

This is a good value hotel, nicely designed and in good condition. The downside is that it is a bit out of the main shopping area, and the beach is also about a 4km taxi ride away.
During our stay there was very loud club music with the beat felt into the room, but at least it stopped around midnight.

If you are not going to have all day beach time and plan to visit attractions around Da Nang, you need to book this hotel. The restaurant offering breakfast offers good scenery and beautifully design interior. Staff are nice with acceptable English.

A wonderful overall experience.

Fantastic place! The hotel and amenities are amazing. We were upgraded to a 9th floor room as we were staying a week and it was perfect-beautiful view, comfy bed, balcony. Staff were so friendly and wanting to please and a few became like friends. The breakfast restaurant was very stylish and the food was very good. They also make very good coffees and don’t charge extra for them. Concierge very helpful. SkyLounge on the roof was very very cool - the music a bit loud but it is really a bar for young people. Very attentive staff though and cheap cocktails! In a nice quieter part of town where not so frenetic and easy to walk to restaurants. Lovely river views and views out to the hills inland.

Beautiful, Clean Hotel & Amazing Staff!

The highlight of my trip to Da Nang, Vietnam would have to be staying at the New Orient Hotel for over an entire week. The entire staff was beyond accommodating, our loft was spacious and spotless, the free breakfast buffet was delicious, and the spaces inside the hotel are BEAUTIFUL! The spa was relaxing, very clean and sanitary, and the masseuse are very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Da Nang.

I enjoyed my iverall stay at this hotel. The only thing i am dissapointed is the leaundry service. They brought the clothes back dirty as how it was. Paid expensive rate per peice for laundry and recieved dirty stained clothes. Very dissapointed with this.

Fabulous Place

Great hotel from the first minute to last. Everything was exceptional. The breakfast is 2nd to none. Our family thoroughly enjoyed it. We had to tried the “authentic Chinese menu” was delicious But with the moda of small portions for the money; so we tried and then went out for more local foods👍 Don’t forget it is connected to the biggest dance club in SE Asia l, so donprepare for some low level boom-booms at night.

The staff are so friendly, hotel in great condition newly built and clean!! Most important is I got additional bed for 3 of us (adult) staying in a twin room! Highly recommend to my friends! The breakfast is so good too!!

Unfortunately the public areas need s good clean

For a new hotel we were very disappointed with the overall cleanliness, particularly the public areas. Restaurant floors, corridor walls and doors all dirty.
There is also no hot water in showers or bath, just mildly warm. We complained and staff sent staff to investigate but no change. Staff were very kind and apologetic.
Overall the stay was ok but if it were not for the great service provided by the staff we would not stay there again.
On leaving I recommend that management take a walk throughout the building and check the cleanliness

New modern hotel with amazing Sky bar

This is a new modern hotel located near the town. The staffs are all very friendly and helpful, especially the front office staff and their guest relation officer. They were very helpful in terms of making our stay comfortable. The room is pretty spacious, with a beautiful bathroom.
Just be careful if you are booking for superior double room, if there are windows in that room. In the website it came with windows but in reality they have only 1 of that room with windows. We ended up with the room adjacent with the pool as it has a patio and a window. Luckily we were not in the room that often , so was not disturb by any noise made in the pool. The other problem was the noise coming from the downstairs club during the night. It didn't disturb me but affected my partner a little as it took him some time to fall asleep. The hotel do recognise the problem and provided their guest with ear plugs.

The breakfast is served in the hotel's Italian restaurant. Tastefully setup. Breakfast is pretty decent, with an average range of selections. Not bad if you are just staying for a couple of nights.

The best thing about this hotel is their SKY BAR. Really plush bar with a great view of Danang. There is a good band playing. Do go up there for a drink. The staff service is also very good.

Loud and somewhat uncomfortable

Pros:
- check in was quick
- concierge was helpful and friendly
- F&B captain during breakfast was nice and went above and beyond. She was a pleasure to talk to
- area is relatively convenient and walkable

Cons:
- NOISY. The hotel is next to a nightclub and we heard loud music every night, late at night. It was impossible to get a good night’s sleep
- rooms next to the pool were loud as well. We could hear the pump from the pool and asked to switch rooms
- hotel staff couldn’t find a room key when they were moving our stuff to the other room even though we left both in the room just as they asked us to. We came back after being out all day and the receptionist asked us about the key in a very accusatory tone which we didn’t appreciate. Same thing happened when we were checking out. They asked about the key again even though we had already told them we didn’t take the key. Why would we want to keep it? It’s not worth anything to us. Why would we lie about it? Ridiculous.
- used the same tone to ask about a missing face towel which we had borrowed for the day since it was hot out.
- noisy no matter which room we were in. We could hear sounds coming through the walls and ceiling, as if furniture was being dragged around. This was late at night, after 1am. Had to call the reception to complain but still heard the noise afterwards
- not a lot of options at the breakfast buffet. Omelette and pho stations were closed by 9 even though breakfast is until 10

Overall it’s an average experience

Room is comfortable and clean. However it could get really noisy at night due to the club next door. Don’t like the rooms facing the pool on lower floors as there is lack of privacy.

Great hotel friendly staff!!!

We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel has recently opened so some facilities like the spa and one restaurant are still not operational. But it didn’t matter as there were lots of great places to eat nearby. Special thanks to the staff at the hotel for making it a memorable stay. Specially thuy, quyen and Kha for the amazing hospitality and many jokes we shared

Amazing hotel close to the river

I had business trip for 2 weeks in Da Nang, and I stayed 3 hotels. This hotel was the best with new facilities, trending decor, nice staffs, good location and beautilful swimming pool. I felt really enjoyed during the time I stayed here. Strongly recommended.
