The Lux worked great for us. We had a pup with us, so they placed us near the exit. We liked the location. We spent 3 days exploring the area around Seneca and Cayuga Lake. It was comfortable. We liked that there was a restaurant attached where we ate dinner a couple nights. I will be passing through the area again in a week and am planning on staying there again.

I can't say enough about my stay here. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by a front staff employee with an amazing personality and smile. She was very helpful explained where everything was and gave maps and handouts for all the fun things to do in the area. Housekeeping staff, kitchen staff and pool staff were very friendly as well, passing by them in the hall, in the breakfast and pool area they also greeted us with a smile and hello. Breakfast was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this hotel. I simply can't say enough positive things about our stay. I will definitely stay there again.

Chicken was good. The staff was friendly. The room was basically clean. Around 10:30 p.m. The noise around our room became excessive. It was impossible to call the front desk as the phone did not work. We had to use our cell phone and call through the 800 number. Finally, around 12:30 it quieted down. The next morning desperately needing coffee. After a night of little sleep we found the coffee maker did not work. Not a good stay

The place is a renovated Quality Inn, but they did a fantastic job. Clean, comfortable, and the young lady who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant was a little on the pricey side, but the food was good. I'll definitely stay here again.

Haley at the desk during check-in was terrific. And everyone else was friendly as well. My upgraded suite was nice but way more than I needed. There were several small maintenance/housekeeping issues which I told them about at check-out like finding old food in the freezer. Breakfast was adequate but pretty basic. Overall a comfortable stay but not one to rave about.

Way ok expensive for what it is! And over rated. It’s clean but don’t be fooled by the pictures it’s an old hotel by the side of a highway. You hear your neighbors and people in the hallway, if you are not up at 6 there is no breakfast, the coffee was water, the toilet was running all the time unless we giggled the handle and no screen on our window, Plus this area stinks because of a dump near by!

I booked this hotel because it had good reviews and was close to our destination. Photos looked nice too. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its ratings. We had 2 rooms and both locks on the doors did not work. Yep, did not work! Rooms were not vacuumed; drilling dust was around the baseboards. Breakfast was included but not much of a choice or appealing. They are definitely in need of a new toaster. I should have gotten my money back because of the doors not locking.

The bed was very comfortable as other reviewers have mentioned, which I was very happy about. The restaurant onsite for dinner was spectacular. A good variety of options to include gluten free options as well. Service was excellent and very accommodating. However, the breakfast was a very big let down comparing to my experience at other hotels in the past. Coffee was barely warm and hot water for the oatmeal was the same. No fresh fruit like apples and bananas were available, comparing to what I normally see at other places. Everything else was good otherwise. We would stay here again but maybe go to a diner nearby for breakfast instead.

My wife and I stayed for 4 days , but he first night we had a small problem with the room and spoke to Megan the next morning … she immediately gave us a new room. The next morning I came out and maintenance was in the room fixing the problem ! Megan was extremely helpful and friendly! Unfortunately, we were not made aware that the property was under construction. The window in our room was completely boarded up with no natural light. In addition, the bathroom mirror light was out, which made it pretty dark in there. At 4 AM there was a group of Laude guests that were talking right outside of our room and then in rooms adjacent to ours. We could hear them loudly talking and making noise throughout the early morning hours. Aside from that, the room was very clean and the staff were pleasant. Breakfast was a nice addition.

The hotel is in a pretty ideal location for vineyard hopping. Wish they had a list of preferred restaurants. Our phone in the room did not work and they said they put in a work order but no one came for the 4 days we were there. The restaurant and grill also closed Monday and Tuesday which gives very few choices to eat in the area.

This is a clean hotel with spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, and friendly staff members, which in my opinion makes this a good hotel.
However, this hotel is definitely showing some signs of its age. Some of the decor is a little dated. In other words, it’s not the Ritz Carleton, but if you’re looking for a good hotel at an affordable price, it’s is definitely a good option.

It was dirty in the room. The bathroom was dirty - I wore flip flops in the shower. It didn't look like the bathroom was mopped and stuff was under the sink. Windows were filthy. When I went to check out, all staff was outside on a smoke break so I waited, then gave up and left my keys on the check out counter. The check in person Saturday was very nice, but the only good thing about the hotel.
