This was a hidden gem. The breakfast buffet with the stay is amazing. Eggs to order and lots of good food. The room had a fantastic view. The staff were remarkable. Front desk lady was beyond accomodating. They even gave me an electric fan to use for the room to help me sleep. Massages were top notch at the spa! The beach was clean and very nice with great lounge chairs. I personally prefered the resort beach more than Sao Beach which was heavily polluted. I highly recommend this resort.

I paid for garden view they stuck me in front of a old dirty pond in the back with no view. I ask for another room then the put me next to a hotel that was getting remodeled that was dirty. Don't let the pic fool u because its not. The staff kept adding charges to my bill even though I know its was no taxes . They pocket the extra. Had to keep asking for my room to be clean and stuff refilled bad resort.

Beautiful property on the beach. Very relaxing . Garden setting with a great pool. Excellent food at the restaurant with excellent breakfast buffet. Some very good restaurants close by. Bungalow style rooms with good size balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful to make you comfortable. Diem, the very special lady at the front desk was so nice and even went to the airport with me to help fix a complicated problem to get me on my flight. ‘Would love to come back.

From our enthusiastic welcome to our warm send off, our stay at the Famiana Resort & Spa was superb.

From the ever smiling Loc at the front desk, to Tuyet and Diem who were always ready to help and were always so kind, our 21 night stay was beyond excellent. The breakfast staff, without exception, was always friendly helpful and Lehn at the omelette station consistently served up great eggs fried, scrambled or as omelettes. While commenting on food we must say we absolutely loved the beachfront “Sip & Heal Beach Bar” (and restaurant.) We regularly sipped there and every night, while many guests went off property to “enjoy” noisy traffic at nearby restaurants, we opted for tranquil ocean sounds, passing fish boats, stunning sunsets and later the distant green lights of the squid fishing fleet. Oh, and the meals were delicious and very fairly priced.

Rooms and housekeepers were wonderful. We had room H215 and we think it was the best room on the property. A minute’s walk leads to the beach chairs, shady palm trees and steps leading to the beach. With ocean wave patterns, the resort maintains the lounging area on higher ground while a wall keeps the ocean at a lower level. Unlike many resorts, we never noticed people “reserving” chairs or hammocks for the day. To stop beach walkers from wandering on to the property and taking over beach chairs the resort’s security staff quickly identified interlopers and moved them along.

If there is a drawback it has its own beach but because of erostion you have to go down steps to get into the water.

The location room and service are all excellent and could not fault anything but have 3 small suggestions. The breakfast buffet could offer a wider cereal or more western choices but the food available was excellent quality. Secondly as the windows have Venetian blinds the bedroom is not completely dark especially if the room is next to a resort light. So suggest an additional blackout blind. Lastly the room doors need a better seal or brush strip at the bottom as they allow small lizards into the room. I am not scared of them but some people obviously won’t want a lizard in the room. Just suggesting some minor improvements.

The room is spacious bur the beach was very disappointing. There was a wall then big slope then right to water edge. The beach was littered with garbage so ocean water was brown and had garbage floating. No way I want to go in to swim in that. Buffett breakfast was good.

We loved this place!! Clean large lovely room and bathroom with air conditioning! Best breakfast buffet!! Super nice staff, the pool and palm tree lined beach with all the hammocks and swings and 200,000 dong massages on the beach are the best!! We ended up staying one more night and very sad to leave. They upgraded our room, very accommodating, free airport service and very helpful to plan our days. atM right outside with lots of restaurants and store right next to the resort. Take a jeep tour to the north part of the island and go the cable car water park in the south. We had no idea that’s what was down there and we had the whole park to ourselves!

It in’t as we expected. Villa so simple, bath tub didn’t get sanitized, we tried to use smell very bad, the resort very quiet, boring, food at the restaurant not that great, we ordered vanilla Bday cake, but came out às chocolate . Our 1st the guests right next to our room we’re fighting yelling all night until morning. We booked 2 nights, but ended up only stayed 1 night, forfeited the 2nd came back to Saigon early. When we check out, the reception told us the hotel will contact and might refund 1 night. I waited no one contacted, I reached out to reservation manager, about 1 night unused, she been intouch w/me regularly because they screwed up our reservation, since the day we checked out, she doesn’t reply to my inquiry anymore.

Overall wonderful experience

There are certain things which I’d like to note which would greatly increase comfort. Firstly, when using the hot water on the shower, it makes the shower head shaft connecting metal piece from the extremely hot - boiling hot, actually. There was no airport shuttle at 3AM and all of taxi drivers refused to drive us to the resort. Footsteps of the stairs and the 2nd floor rooms could be heard clearly if you’re staying on a bottom floor. Overall great vibe and feel of the resort and we enjoyed our stay regardless of the issues we encountered. The best part was being reminded of our departing flight. If they hadn’t made that call, we would have missed our flight.

I had been to several hotel in Vietnam by the beach this is so far has been the best one that i have been too. Everything was so great here the staff was so friendly and the room was incredibly clean which is a plus for me because I’m ocd. We booked the famiana as we landed at the airport, when we arrived via the shuttle, the staff were exceptional and with us right away. They fully explained the hotel, the island and what you van do. We stayed in a garden view bungalow, the room was nice and the bathroom was big. We never once found ourselves wondering where anything was at the resort. The restaurant was great, the buffet was excellent at breakfast and the pool area was clean, the beach also very tidy and quiet. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again. Loved it.

Perfect stay, should have extended it further

The villa we stayed in was very clean and well-prepared for our arrival, everything down to the view was indeed accurate as advertised. Service was excellent with the staff being extremely capable and attentive. Most have a very good grasp of the english language, which was a very surprising factor given our stay at two other resorts here in Phu Quoc. Has abundant facilities that included two pools, archery and tennis and even mini golf. A definite reccomendation to travellers thinking of staying here. Also conveniently located quite near to the town, with shops and restaurants right outside. The hotel restaurant too serves very good food, for a price that wont break the bank.

The kids loved the resort activities - kayaking, tennis and archery. We received 1 hour complimentary tennis and 10 archery arrows. After this activities are charged. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. When I became sick one of the staff members obtained medication for me so that I recovered very quickly and was able to make my flight home - which I was very grateful for. Staff also recommended and booked tours and taxis for us. Breakfast was ok. The standard rooms (deluxe?) come in blocks of 4 - 2 on the ground floor, two on the top floor. They do not connect and are separated by a stairwell. If you are on the ground floor this means going outside to move between one room and the other. The beach outside the hotel is clean

Our stay at the resort was enjoyable; the facilities, beach, pool and gardens were amazing and clean. Our room faced directly into view of the construction next door with people living on the top floor of the construction site and having full view of us on entering and leaving the room. The noise from the construction site was also disturbing. The breakfast is comprehensive and the quality of the food amazing. However the food at the restaurant for dinner is heavily overpriced, forcing guests to venture out onto the main road and into the city for better food options at very affordable prices

We were happy at the beginning since we received an "upgrade" when arriving(from the garden area to the beach area), the true we found later is that they had very few guests and they didn't have enough staff for the garden area, so it was more convenient to set all the guests in the same area; still they put us as far from the beach as possible (and still few service was available, including no bar at pool or beach area)... not so much for an "upgrade". Most of the staff was not that fluent in english (in comparison to the other 3 hotels we stayed during our vacation in Vietnam), we had trouble to order the first night room service because they were not understanding "room service" (we arrived late due to flight delay and we didn't want to "explore" for a restaurant); the lady that help us almost through all types of communication with the rest of the hotel staff was the tour desk manager (our thanks to her)... The most annoying part is at the check out we apparently owed a dinner (we always try to pay immediately to avoid confusion at check out), it was the room service of the first night and we don't know if the non-english speaking guy thought the dinner payment was a huge tip or what happened, days after they still email us trying to "clarify" and they attach the bill which it was not even signed by us!...Summary it was the most disappointing hotel of our trip, the part that "saves" it was the wonderful lady in the tour desk

The hotel is a bit inconvenient in that it's "across the street" from the main resort. It's actually a bit further then it sounds: you have to call reception to have a golf cart to drive you through a dirt alley and then across the street. The cart itself is a bit awkward in which you have to sit on the back so if it rains, you have to wipe down your seat and bring an umbrella. The resort itself is nice, pool is large & clean, rooms are standard, wifi is weak. I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty certain that I got food poisoning from the morning breakfast there. I got back to my room and the rest of my trip was spoiled from there. They gave us a late checkout and the airport shuttle was convenient. Overall, I wouldn't stay there again.

We had a lovely stay here.....our room was really lovely overlooking the pool and garden...we were on the other side of the road but there was a little golf cart to take you but we walked it its not far......breakfast was outstanding!!...the beach was kept clean ......the pool was a little hot but the weather was hot also being here in May...we visited the night market (a pearl buy is a must)!...staff were always obliging and helpful....if you are at the restaurant order the coconut smoothie....the BEST in Vietnam !! ....we would recommend Famiana to all

Great Resort for Families With Toddlers

We stayed at Famiana for three nights with our toddler. It was amazing!

Famiana has a free shuttle that picks you up from the airport but somehow we missed each other. The hotel paid for a taxi to bring us to the property and then upgraded our room. Mistakes happen and they made it right.

Our toddler is turning is turning two and the resort said that they would provide a cake. When we walked into the restaurant there was a table decorated with flowers and led candles that spelled his name. It was really special.

We visited Vinpearl Land by using the free island shuttle, did archery (the instructor was great!) at the sister property, ate the delicious free breakfast every morning, swam in the toddler pool multiple times a day, and had a wonderful Swedish massage and a mani/pedi at the spa.

The internet is strong and the cable channels include kid channels. Everyone speaks English. The resort is a little ways away from the town so it's nice and quiet. The staff was wonderful and loved on our toddler every time they'd see him. The grounds are immaculate. The air conditioning worked great. The cribs were made of sturdy wood and the baby's linen was changed every day. Our toddler loved the swinging egg chairs that overlook the beach.

We had a great time and look forward to visiting Famiana again and again.

Great resort!

We enjoyed our stay at Famiana. The staff were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately there are construction works in the whole island, so it's not just Famiana that is affected by this. Our room was located very close to the construction site (they start working at 7am!). We mentioned this to the hotel manager and she kindly provided us a room that was much further from the construction site which was fantastic. Since we were there for Christmas, the hotel organised a Gala which was mostly aimed at young children. The location of the resort is great and the sea and the beach are very beautiful.

Amazing Resort- must stay here!

The resort is right on the beach with many different room types. We splurged and booked a beach villa 10 steps to the sand. Although a bit expensive, the view and convienence was worth it. It was a beautiful loft room with tons of space for two. Clean spacious room with a beachy modern feel.

Complimentary breakfast was good. Lots of choices and very friendly staff. Security guards watch the property so we felt safe.

Beach was nice. The sand around the sun hairs had lots of branches but not too much garbage. A small inconvenience but would be nice if it was raked clean every few days.

Only downside was the Internet which cut in and out very frequently and the shower drain plugs pretty quickly but overall it was the nicest place we have stayed in SE Asia so far. Very comfortable. Like home away from home! Please stay here. It's lovely.

What do you want from your trip?
Is it for relaxation or business?
If you want a quiet and comfortable rest, this is the best resort.
I stayed here for a week.
The staff treated me with the best service and kindness. I tend to use the room relatively cleanly, but they provide daily cleaning and tidying.
Be sure to include breakfast. They provide moderate and quality food.
The 2.2 meter deep swimming pool in the resort is always in good condition, and it provides a lot of fun compared to the general shallow pool. Beach towels are provided. You can return them to the staff after use.
If you are confident in swimming in the sea on a nice day, you can enjoy swimming in the sea in front of the resort.

フーコック空港から10分ほどと便利なのに、ホテル内は自然がいっぱいで、敷地内は高層の建物も無く、プールも広いのでリラックスしてリゾート気分を満喫できます。
フロント・送迎・レストラン・清掃、全てのスタッフがフレンドリーで快適、景観の管理も行き届いています。
朝食ビュッフェは、種類も多く日替りでメニューも変わるので飽きない上に、午後1時までなのでブランチや朝寝坊の方ならランチにもなりますよ。
あちこち観光に行かず、ホテルでゆったり過ごしたい方には最適だと思います。
残念な点は、バスルームのお湯の出が悪いことと、レストランのアラカルトメニューの種類が少ないことです。

靜中帶旺！酒店門口對面已經是按摩和餐廳，門口左手面第一間店是買雞河粉和鴨河粉超好吃，一直左手面沿住路很多小吃，酒店有風筒，超好用很夠熱，水溫也很夠熱， email給酒店，他們會到機場接送很貼心，私人沙灘很美麗！早餐也可以！

On vient deja vous chrrcher a l’aeroport avec un magnifique vehicule, le personnel est ensuite aux petits soins pour satisfaire votre sejour. Les chambres sont tres propres et bien agencees, la literie tres confortable. L’hotel est a taille humaine et peu de personne a la piscine. Le petit dejeuner est tres bien, tres bon cafe, croissants et plats divers. Le seul probleme est l’acces a la mer car la plage amenagee est retenue par un mur hideux et des marches. Rolig og velstelt sted

Rent og hyggelig sted, men litt personlighetsløst, med unntak av mannen med håndklærne som var veldig søt. Det er ikke strand å ligge på, du er oppe på et platå og må ta trapper ned til havet. Men fine solsenger og hengekøyer og utsikt til solnedgangen. Virker bra og trygt for barnefamilier, da området er stort og det er lekerom. AC er bra. For oss var det opptur å komme oss litt vekk, vi leide motorsykkel og å dro på snorkletur. Hotellet var behjelpelige med bookingene. Hvis du er skvetten er det greit å vite at det også er firfisler på rommet, men de kommer ikke nært deg. Butikk og vaskeri i nærheten. Bruk grab til nattmarkedet etc.

フロント、レセプションは清潔感にあふれてて、ゆったり、落ち着いてて、到着した瞬間に癒されて落ち着く事が出来る。
部屋は十分に広く、静かに過ごす事が出来て癒される。シャワールームは床の傾斜の付け方の具合で若干水が溜まってしまう部分があるのと、滑りやすいので注意が必要。
敷地内はプライベートビーチまで散歩できるくらいになっていて、こぢんまりしているがゆっくりした時間を過ごせる。
スタッフがみんな気さくで親切なので安心して過ごせた。

私は日本人です。1月の初めから4泊しました。
(良かった点)
•このエリアは人気のリゾートエリアなのでたくさんの外国人が泊まっていますが、このホテルはプライベートビーチでそこまで人が多くないのでとてもリラックスできます。
•ホテル内の植物、道、建物は常に綺麗に掃除されていて、よかったです。
•プールも浅い所から深いところは2.2メートルあり泳いでいて気持ちよかったです。
•スタッフは皆さん親切で「Xin Chào」(こんにちは)と言うと素敵な笑顔で返してくれます。
•ビーチフロントヴィラに宿泊しましたが、部屋は清潔でしっかりと掃除されており、アロマも焚かれとても快適に過ごせました。虫は室内で一匹も見ませんでした。また、部屋の掃除を頼む度にメモ書きを残しておりましたが、毎回返事のメモも残してくれていてとても親切に感じておりました。
•ミニバーがフリーで何よりお水がたくさん飲めるのがありがたい。
•私のつたない英語でも親身に聞いてくれて、スタッフの皆さんが一生懸命に滞在をサポートしてくれました。
•ピックルボール(ミニテニスのようなもの、これはぜひ試してみてください)、アーチェリー、サップ、カヤック、クッキング教室など様々なアクティビティがあり、一日ずっとホテルにいてリラックスしながら楽しめるのが最高でした。
•ビーチは引き潮の時が一番綺麗です。天気にもよりますがよく観察していると面白いです。ビーチに流れてくるゴミもスタッフが小舟で沖で回収しており、ホスピタリティを感じました。
•夕日を見るには最高です。本当に美しい。
•朝食はとても美味しく、日本人もとくに気にせず何でも食べれます。
•スパ、バーの値段も特段高いと感じることはありませんでした。お酒も美味しかったです。
•警備スタッフが一日中常駐しており、監視カメラでホテル内を見てくれているので安心できます。
•ホテルの向かいにある、「LINDA Restaurant 」はとても美味しい海鮮料理を食べれます。スタッフもホスピタリティに溢れ何より安く食べれます。日本人にもお勧めなのでぜひ行ってみてください。

(気になった点)
•ホテルの横の建物の工事が日中あり、それがうるさかった
ですが、スタッフの方が自主的に注意してくれたり、気を遣ってくれました。土日は工事はないようです。
•妻とサップを2つ借りましたが、そのうち1つのサップにフィンが付いておらず、コントロールが効かず沖まで流され少し危なかったです。この事はスタッフにも伝えましたので、きっと改善されてると思います。

このホテルは日本人でも安心して、言葉通り非日常の素敵な時間を過ごせます。
ベトナム語のスペルがわからず申し訳ありませんが、ホンさん、イェンさん、そしてその他スタッフの皆さん、素敵な時間をありがとう。またいつかぜひ宿泊したいと思います。

Buona struttura, spiaggia da rivedere

La struttura è piacevole, con tanto verde, ben curata. Abbastanza vicina (4,5 km) la Night Market, il centro della vita in questa zona.
La camere era spaziosa, con parziale vista sul mare. Purtroppo senza praticamente cassetti, solo un armadio. Colazione non particolarmente brillante.
Tutto bene… se non si viene qui per stare su una bella spiaggia e fare il bagno. La zona lettini/ombrelloni è bella, ma purtroppo situata su un terrapieno e per raggiungere il mare si devono scendere delle scale. Il che non sarebbe grave. Il problema è che il pezzettino di spiaggia sul mare è veramente stretto e ci sono (in mare, per terra, lungo tutto il muro) delle protuberanze lunghe che, mi hanno detto, servono a proteggere la struttura dalle mareggiate/onde. Non sono accettabili. Non ho fatto il bagno. Per fortuna, vicino ci son delle spiagge non male, ma la più belle (indicatami dall’hotel) è SAO beach, a una mezzoretta di auto/scooter. Ne vale senz’altro la pena.
Personale tutto molto cortese, in particolare la Manager Mrs. Vi, sempre disponibile.

3 nuits passées dans une villa en front de mer.

Points positifs :
- personnel charmant, attentif et attentionné.
- le studio est très grand, très propre, et réellement en front de mer.
- le cadre est très agréable.

Points négatifs/à corriger :
- pas de plage naturelle... un mur est actuellement en rénovation. C'est assez moche.
Du coup, nous n'avons pas l'impression d'être sur une plage !
- Des constructions de toutes parts. C'est hélas le lot de cette ile, qui n'aura plus aucun charme dans très peu d'année.
- Les villas en front de mer sont collées les unes aux autres. Ça manque énomément d'intimité !

Номер чистый, постель-полотенца - все хорошо. Смена белья регулярная. В ванной наполнение хорошее - шампунь, гель и т. д. Горячая вода - почти без проблем, сток отличный, то есть душ принять проблем не возникало.
В комнате темно. И попить чай-кофе кроме как на балконе. В комнате негде присесть.
Пляж с лежакам - норм, все устроено. Даже гамаки есть.
Завтраки нормальные. Йогурты, фрукты присутствуют. Выпечка не понравилась.Там где готовят суп фо, яйца и оладьи - все на улице и сидели мухи периодически на заготовках.

Rent hotell på Phu Quac

Hotellet var rent og pent.+ for meget fin strand ved hotellet. Elles på øya var det mye søppel. Vi har feriert i Thailand i 9 år og service er noe som mangler her....På hotellet var det bilde av poolbar, noe jeg ønsket. Denne var stengt og ser ut som har vært det stengt lenge. Bassenget er ikke tilpasset barn.( for dere som trenger dette) Stille og rolig strøk, med restauranter på utsiden av hotellet.

Super séjour les pieds dans l’eau!!

Choisir cet hôtel plutôt que le green villa qui est assez loin de la plage!
Les serviettes sont changées tous les 2 jours ( question écologie) mais ils proposent de changer les serviettes de plages tous les jours!
La plage et la piscine sont propres et le petit déjeuner est tres bon, rien de tel qu’un bon pho pour demarrer la journée !!
On y retournera!

Nice and quiet

Really nice and quiet resort. Breakfast was good and stuff was really polite. Beach is front of the resort and it was nice and clean but if you go just littele bit further the beach line there is dirt everywhere. Only minus was Minigolf it wasn't really well made. Really nice romantic hotel for couples.

ビーチのリクライニングソファがいつも取れなかったので、もう少し数があればよかったのにとは思いましたが、他にもイスはありましたので不便はありませんでした。
