This is a great hotel.16 nights so you can say something about it.
Very quiet place ,excellent atmosphere , good service cleanliness,evrything taken care of ,food fresh and very tasty ,not a single word about it.

The whole time I stayed at the hotel was great. To be perfectly honest, I can feel the warm hospitality from the hotel, their smiling faces are really stamp in my heart, the pool is so nice and the music band playing at the pool every night is lovely, they made the most romantic atmosphere ever. Very good service in the restaurant. Keep up the good work… will definitely come back for someday with my friends.

I totally recommend this amazing hotel. I booked Deluxe Hill View room but so kind of them, I was upgrade room with Ocean View for free. The room was very comfortable with nice view. I love it so much. Just sitting on the balcony chair, reading my favorite book and having a cup of tea makes me feel so fulfilling

We really enjoyed our stay at the Amarin. Rooms and balconies are spacious. Beach view is great. Rooms are clean, well-equiped and staffs try their best to help. The hotel has good location with plenty of ok restaurants around and great cooktail bars. Love this place so much!!

Hotel is run down - not maintained - poor food

The hotel has mostly people who don't speak English and it is run down, the breakfast is mediocre, the coffee is bad and the staff don't speak much English. We moved to Sol for eight more dollars and it is brilliant

Good stay, lovely hotel value for money

Lovely new hotel. Right on the beach, plenty of sunbeds and lovely pool area. Book the sea view rooms worth the extra money to see the beautiful sunsets every night !! Let down by pool bar and staff though. Very slow service, and minimal measures. Shame really but cannot moan about the price. Location not bad about 40 minute walk to night market on main road. Lots of restaurants bars etc on way though. A taxi costs around £2 to main town. Will return in a few years once all staff trained fully and hotel has found its feet. In saying that Phu Quoc is a very up and coming place so go now before it gets too commercialised and loses its Asian charm!

Will be great with small updates

The hotel staff are sweet and the building is clean. The location is nice for walking on the beach or floating in the ocean. We prefer the ocean so we did not use the pool, but it looks lovely. We enjoyed sipping wine in the swinging chairs and in the double lounge chairs.

They have quality pool/beach towels! BONUS!! The beach lounge chairs and umbrellas were nice and being able to order drinks or snacks from the beach was handy.

We would likely stay here again because the value is so great for the cleanliness of the building and location on the beach.

But here are the areas for improvement:
- There is often a stench outside the restaurant near the bathroom. (It's not very appetizing.)
- Somehow sound travels terribly through the thick concrete walls. We could hear a pin drop on the floor from above and some people chatting late into the night may as well have been in our room - it was that loud and clear.
- Bug screens on the sliding doors - We left our door open for about 30 minutes and had to have them come and spray the 100s of bugs on our walls. It's nice to be in a place where you can leave the doors open and turn the air conditioning off.
- They said they included an airport transfer, but they put us in a taxi, leaving us to pay. The driver was not a great communicator, couldn't show us on his fingers how much we owed him and it was a real pain, considering they were supposed to take care of us at that time.
- Rent a scooter: its a ways to activities

Nice hotel. Staff might want to work on their English skills. However, they were very friendly and service minded.
Very nice location.
Only major issue was noise from construction site next door.
They were working with heavy tool at 10:30 pm. And started bright and early.

Awesome location, beautiful views.

We spent 6 unforgettable nights in the Amarin suite. Beautiful room with a stunning view of the pool, beach and ocean from both balconies. Staff were attentive and very friendly. 5-10 mins from all the best restaurants, night market, bars etc, and a stone throw from the most beautiful beach/water. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Unfinished hotel on Expedia

We reached to hotel around 12.00 pm and we were told that check-in time is 2 pm. Totally understand and went out for lunch a bit far away. When we were back to hotel, time was close to 4 pm but room was not ready yet. The worst thing is there were no more double bed room. We had a couple of argument with staffs that if there was no such room available why they did not tell us in the beginning. We are very reasonable but what made us became super angry customers is even that single bed room was not ready yet and had to wait 10~15 more mins. Actually that was my second impression with this hotel.

First impression was the moment we saw the hotel, straight away know this is unfinished hotel. Contractors were still working outside. Garden is not complete yet. Key card system still has problem. Staffs are not even trained properly as they don't even remember rooms yet. No safe box too.

Next, funny thing is they have room service but literally needed to go down for orders. After that they will deliver to room. If you do not tell hotel staff, there is no daily room cleaning at all. The first night we ordered room service. Next day, of course we went out for beaches but when we were back to our room, room were just like before we left at the morning and foods were already started having those smell. Really needed to call twice to get cleaned.

This hotel and services are no way near to 4 stars. My last question is why did Expedia allow such unfinished hotel listed on their site.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at!
Where do I even start, there is literally nothing good to say about this hotel.

For starters it was dirty, loud and staff was pretty rude and not at all helpful. My room smelled like old salami, I asked the reception to sort it out, which they didn’t.

The beach was not very nice, tiny and sun chairs packed next to each other and people chain smoking next to you.
The pool area I guess was okey, only you could never get a chair there unless you didn’t go up at 06.00 to reserve one.

The pool area and beach bar was also playing super loud music, often Russian, which made it very unpleasant to be there, anything but relaxing.

The room was dirty and full of dust.
The Mountain View that I had booked, really was a view over a dumpster

Could I give a negative 10 star I would! My advice book somewhere else, there are much better hotels in same price range nearby.

I should also add, I’m not that hard to please so for me to give a bad review, it has to be that bad

Gym was okey for being a hotel gym

Area is fine though if you like to be in the middle having easy access to the entire island. But if I would go again I would stay up north, less crowded and much nicer beaches

Great place to stay

My wife and I stayed at Amarin for 6 nights. Spacious room with ocean view. The hotel has easy access to different parts of the island by taxi or grab. Big pool located right next to the beach.
The breakfast buffet was a very pleasant surprise. Had a lot of variety and options.
Hotel staff was excellent in all domains. Friendly, helpful and professional. The area also felt safe.

Big, nice hotel by the beach. Has a nice outdoor pool, bar and sundeck. Nice room. Spa treatments were not actually part of the hotel which I had believed, but provided by Galina spa next door, so you need to talk to them to book treatments. Great treatments and plenty of time slots. Hotel also assists in renting scooters which was very convenient! Also offers free transfer to/from the airport, I was perhaps a little late to apply for it before the visit so I did not get any reply in time, but the transfer to the airport afterwards was smooth. All in all, great hotel!

水回りのトラブルでオーシャンビューの部屋が急遽マウンテンビューに変わりました。ホテルのマネージャーが丁寧に説明して、リカバリーも示してくれました。真摯にまた誠実にトラブルに対応してくれたのが良かったです。レストランやマッサージ店、小さいですがスーパーも近くにあります。

Room: The room is very comfortable, big and clean. You can see the blue sky and ocean from the window. Very relaxing! Great location: 10 minutes away from the airport and the main town. Service was great as well, staff is very helpful, friendly and you get served a fresh drink as soon as you arrived. The hotel has a nice outdoor swimming pool for a sunny day.

Amarin có vị trí khá thuận lợi với sân bay và khu trung tâm. Đồ ăn ngon, vừa miệng và đồ uống cũng rất tuyệt. Mình rất thích tiệc trà chiều tại bể bơi. Vừa nằm đọc sách vừa nhâm nhi tách trà và bánh ngọt, lại được nghe nhạc du dương thật sự rất tuyệt vời. Nhân viên cũng rất thân thiện. Phòng nghỉ rộng rãi, sạch sẽ và tràn ngập ánh nắng. Nhất định sẽ quay lại đây khi có cơ hội du lịch Phú Quốc

오션뷰 전망은 좋았구요.5층 이상 추천.해변과 가까워서 좋았음.조식은 늦게 가면 많이 없어요. 리필 잘 안해줌.메뉴도 별로. 매트리스도 푹꺼져 있어서 허리 아플수도 있습니다. 2박이상은 비추입니다.

チェクイン時にオーバーブッキングしているからと、近くのホテルに案内されました。
そこの立地はオンザビーチのコテージで素晴らしかったのですが、古過ぎて…再びフロントへ行って交渉し、予約時のガーデンビューの部屋にしてもらえました。
が、この部屋は入り口がとても重く、カーテンが一部レールから外れていました。そこが残念でした。

これ以外は、スタッフはフレンドリーで親切！朝食のビュッフェも美味しい。プールからアクセスできるプライベイトビーチも快適でリゾートを楽しむ事が出来ました。

Rất tốt , nhân viên thân thiện nhiệt tình, phục vụ rất chu đáo, hồ bơi thoáng mát sạch sẽ , thức ăn sáng ngon , và nhà hàng phục vụ ăn trưa và tối cũng rất ngon , giá cả hợp lý , chỉ thiếu chút xíu là KS hoàn hảo ( chỉ nói riêng với KS không cần đăng lời góp ý này, tôi mong rằng, Quản lý KS nhớ thường xuyên kiếm tra khâu vệ sinh phòng , vì trong phòng tắm và tấm màn che gương không được sạch sẽ )

Lækkert hotel, men ikke god nok service

Hotellet var rigtig lækkert, og det vat en dejlig strand. Men personalet er simpelthen ikke godt nok trænet. De kan ikke snakke basisk engelsk, hvilket gør det svært at kommunikere, når man skal have hjælp.

Mycket trevligt och rent hotell som har ett fantastiskt läge direkt vid stranden. Rummen var fina med en panoramautsikt över havet, frukosten hade ett stort utbud av olika sorters bröd, pålägg, frukt mm, kocken stod och lagade omelett efter önskemål.
Bra service i receptionen. Rent och snyggt överallt.

Väldigt trevligt.

Riktigt trevligt hotell för bra pengar. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal i receptionen. Snabb städning på morgonen under tiden vi åt frukost. Frukosten var jättebra med stor variation, snygga upplägg och färska juicer varje morgon. Värt att lägga ett par 100-lappar på rummen med havsutsikt. Stranden bara ett par steg ut från hotellet var jättefin och ren och det fanns tillräckligt med solstolar och ingen trängsel. Polområdet var också rent och välskött. Om man kan klaga på något så var det barstolarna och barborden vid poolbaren, de var fruktansvärt obekväma. Hadevaritperfekt med lite vanliga bord när man satt och åt vid poolen.
I området utanför hotellet fanns det många bra restauranger med gångavstånd till.

Underbar och hjälpsam personal

Mycket bra sängar och stort härligt rum. Inga störande ljud. Bilderna stämmer. Mycket bra frukost. Personalen i både frukost och reception helt fantastiska och hjälpsamma. Totalt sett ett mycket bra hotell.
Det som går att förbättra är restaurang och uteservering saknas för att sitta ute och äta.

Mooi strand hotel

Amarin is een mooi hotel gelegen aan een fijn privé strand. Hotel heeft ruimekamers met uitzicht op zee en er is vriendelijk personeel en een handdoekenservice bij het zwembad .Er is alleen helaas geen shuttlebus naar het centrum, dit zou het verblijf nog aangenamer maken. Ontbijt goed en gevarieerd.
