Jenny and Chien great personal service in dining room. Two Filipino servers with “trainee” on their name tags also gave us great service. Breakfast amazing and varied so not bored even there 2 weeks

Victor makes great drinks both from menu and creating delicious new ones if you tell him what you like.

Room always clean.

Beach love cation excellent with wide sand and chairs under 4 rows of trees for shade if you want it.

Bus service to okd town works well.

This was our first time staying here and it was a wonderful experience. The resort is right next to a clean and beautiful sandy beach with comfortable warm water. The staffs are friendly and courteous. We booked two rooms but our sons couldn't make it due to bereavement and it was passed the deadline for cancelation. The management totally sympathize with the situation and help us to get refund for the second room. We are very grateful.
The resort is located within 10 minutes from the airport and they have free shuttle to and from the airport. Our return flight was real early and they even packed box breakfast for us. Will come back again in the future.

Island in the sun…

Nice pool on the beach, adequate gym and two restaurants. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere. This resort is near the airport but it doesn’t spoil your stay. Getting around the island is easy by taxi or grab. Not far from town and the night market.

Excellent stay, lovely hotel, gorgeous pool, nice food. Night market was about 10 min by grab. I was deciding whether to stay in town but glad we went with Dusit. By the way the Vercilles Mud Baths are right next door & was fabulous & Salinda Resort is on other side of Baths. I didnt know this when deciding out of the 2 hotels.

You won’t be disappointed staying at the Dusit Princess. The staff are warm and friendly. The staff are always checking to see if you need information or suggestions of where to visit. The Thai restaurant delivers great food and the pool and bar was a most welcome place to relax by. Rooms were spacious and clean. A free shuttle bus to the airport was also well received after a long flight.
I highly recommend a stay here and “My” the customer service manager was so lovely and accommodating.

Really enjoyed the hospitality-facilities and location-staff were great! Very hospitable. Just one point happy hour is buy 2 get 1 free which is a little tricky to get your head round! But such a nice place to stay! Pool and beach options too-ample breakfast.

Vietnam Island vacation 8 out of 10!

Nice place, but has a few shortcomings. Out side the property it’s rather slummy. The ocean looks inviting but it’s full of sea-lice. I guess the large pool is great for families. Our (expensive, $248 night) room was spacious and clean, but a horrible smell from the kitchen below and the sewer system 👹 Would we come again, no. Staff at this property- 10 out of 10. Today it’s 35 and little humidity. Check in is 2pm, check out 12 noon. Food predominantly Asian. 😜 At the moment too many Soviets here.

Very nice resort, beautiful pool. Staff is very friendly and the AC works amazing in the rooms. Not a 5 star resort, but very nice. Right on the beach. The gym was small and they never kept the AC on in there. Breakfast was decent, nice selection.

Great location close to airport and right on beach. Gorgeous pool, restaurants were tasty, good breakfast included. Staff at front desk were helpful. Walkable out of resort with shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Comfy beds, nice balconies and bath tub in room. Can tell is an older resort, but well taken care of. Stairwells and windows in common areas could have been cleaner, and loungers around pool and on beach weren't very comfy, could use padding. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The beds are comfy, the rooms are big and the balcony was great. Small thing but rather than making the bed, they folded the bedding. You’d walk in and put your dirty stuff down on the sheets that you were going to be sleeping in.
Breakfast was very good. The pool and beach are both lovely. We didn’t enjoy the live music most nights, sometimes you want to enjoy the sunset with the sound of the waves and kids playing.
The restaurant was overpriced.
The staff went overboard trying to be nice.

Our experience at Dusit was above and beyond. All the staff catered to all our needs and always greeted us with a smile. My son LOVED this kids pool, play area and beach. We, the parents, enjoyed the spa and gym. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a ton of variety! Overall a great experience!

This venue was very comfortable and relaxing with the infinity pool and swim up bar, with access to the beach directly in front. The two restaurant choices were fantastic, specifically the Thai restaurant. The hotel suites were immaculately clean and well designed and had everything we needed. The only negative thing I could think of was that there was only one bar we could order from and drinks took a while to be made.

Absolutely amazing place to stay whether with family or solo like myself .

Staff were so kind and professional and went above and beyond . The rooms are well kept and modern and very clean . The resort itself isn’t too far away from attractions . You can higher a driver to take you for under 40$ USD or Canadian . The food in the morning which is included is full of options and freshly made . If you choose to eat at the resort the restaurant has a huge menu . My stomach is usually sensitive when I travel, I never once got sick with the resort breakfast or dinners. The spa at the resort is a must and very reasonably priced. The tours that they offer are great value and worth it . I am usually a solo traveller that prefers air bnbs but I am very happy I stayed here . It has a homey touch but also is luxurious… it doesn’t feel like a compound though like resorts in Mexico . I still felt like I experienced the reality of the island and the culture .

Relaxing Tropical Beachfront Hotel (Great Food)

Stay here for a 3 day weekend. It was very relaxing, as the hotel made every accommodation for us to be comfortable . Check out time was 12pm but our flight did not leave until 6pm. We were allowed to use the facilities (pool, showers, towels, etc.) until we left at 4pm.

We loved it.
The breakfast was nice, the pool was great and the room very comfortable.
The restaurant had good club sandwiches and salads and they gave us coupons for discounts.
There are a free buses that run up and down the island but we couldn’t get much info on them - a posted map & schedule would be a good idea.
A seat in the shower too.

unpleasant smell from the mattress in the room, very poor cleaning of the room every day, the public beach nearby is in the way. The breakfast is simple but tasty, dirty dishes take a long time to be cleared away. in the evening the dinner is delicious but the waiters work poorly. the pool is nice and warm. Water was always brought upon request. The smell of the mattress is terrible, this is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel!!!!!

Warm fresh breakfast with variety choices. Friendly staff and customer service. They worked very hard to meet customers needs. My room was nice and clean. You could pick up free Vinbus transportation nearby to Grand World and Safari. The only thing I don’t like, was my bed. I couldn’t sleep because the bed sinked in the center and hurts my back. The pool is great and you can step straight onto a great beach with clam sea. The 2 restaurants had a lot of options to choose from. Loved the Thai restaurant. Breakfast was good and a nice peaceful location in the early morning before the crowds. Great pool bar.

I also had the best massge I've had in a long time here. Its not cheap but it was worth it with very nice facilities.

Exterior of the building is outdated and worn looking. The interior of the room with king size bed with garden view is quite large and modern. The room curtains are old and have stains. Staff quickly corrected the problem with stained bedsheets once reported. They also installed an infuser to mask the musty smell inside the room. They were apologetic and provided complimentary fruit plates with handwritten apology note. It was disappointing that the walkway to our room was overlooking an abandoned property which give an appearance of unkempt and neglected feelings walking to our room each time. Mosquitoes were plenty as the abandoned building next door have ponds of standing water. Breakfast buffet provided a wide variety of Vietnamese and American dishes. Credits given to serving staffs and chef’s managing the restaurant. Properties built very close to the beach and you definitely can enjoy a beach side meals at most of their restaurant sites. Waves were very strong during our 4 -night visit so we use the infinity pool instead.
Excellent customer service throughout; however, the hotel needs a facelift as it is old and appeared dilapidated.

Nice place shame on end bill

Be careful opening hotel glass shampoo bottle in shower when they’re jammed. One fell on my foot, broke into a thousand pieces and I bled the room out. Staff cleaned mess quickly and charged me 250,000 VND for the privilege!

However amazing outdoor pool.

Dry much enjoyed our 4 night stay. My issues were eco related. Cannot you find glass water bottles for the rooms. Need more garbage containers around the resort with recycling options ie plastic, paper, glass. The grounds were meticulously maintained but not so the beach in front. Many cigarette butts and everyday I gathered styrofoam, plastic bags and straws etc from the beach in front of hotel. Should be cleaned daily. I realize things float in by the sea but guests shouldn’t be picking it up.

The staff, from food and beverage, front desk, housekeeping moved heaven and earth to make sure we had a FABULOUS time at the Dusit Moonrise. The manager, Ron, went out of his way to check in with us every day to make sure all was well. Gorgeous oceanfront resort very peaceful and relaxing. Loved it.

Spectacular and will take your breath away

The resort was absolutely gorgeous and everything we had hoped for after travelling extensively throughout Vietnam. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful in securing reservations for us at other local establishments during our stay. Our only complaint was that sadly, we lost a 1/2 day of pampering & beach indulgence due to a local flight that was cancelled. Would love to return to this part of the world.

Loved our stay at this hotel. Beautiful hotel and bedrooms so spacious and stylish. Gorgeous pool and right on the beach. Appreciated the beautiful gardens and lush green plants. Breakfast was fantastic everyday. Good gym. Bed was huge and comfy. Only criticism was the amount of mosquitoes in the hotel including the bedrooms, perhaps some sort of spray needs to happen. Music played at pool was depressing until happy hour.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel great rooms would definitely return. Very small problem they need to clean the pool more 1/2 an hour each evening was not enough. They may have repeated this earlier morning we didn’t see. Would be a good idea to have hand hygiene gel or similar in the gym. We had nothing to clean machines down after use.
