After a few small issues in our stay, the general manager, Ms Le and her team went above and beyond to make things right. I was really happy with the level of service and all the efforts made by the resort to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and safe. Stylish stay with great amenities but Slight wait

The place was clean and luxurious. The room was in great condition, and the staff were friendly and professional. I really liked the food at the restaurant, the pool, and the lounge for departing guests. The only downside was that it felt a bit crowded, so when I made requests at the lobby, the response was a little slow, which was a bit inconvenient.

Location and proximity to airport is amazing. Staff does strive and can sense they try to put in effort though there is much areas such as a) language skills - being more conversant in English b) more attentiveness and thoughtfulness in service. A for effort but poor execution c) food quality can be improved for a IHG property. We ended up having all of our meals (aside from breakfast) in the sister property next door d) service during breakfast which is rush hour was manic and often we have to follow up for our beverage orders. Perhaps consider adding more staffing to cope with the guest capacity

The beach/pool/resort component was nice. The staff was super SLOW--no urgency, coffee at breakfast takes 15 minutes and refills take longer. Upon arriving hungry at 9pm I was counselled my only dining option was barfood on the roofbar with blaring loud music. The restaurants advertise to be open until 10pm, but I guess they really close at 9pm. Also breakfast beginning at 7am is actually quite late. It would be nice to have a coffee option starting at 6am. It would be nice to have a filtered water station allowing guests to refill water bottles vs. always supplying more plastic. Overall, it was just okay for the price and my expectations of an Intercontinental.
Also, the music blaring in the evenings was super loud & not a welcome playlist.
Room & common areas were clean.

Outdated 4* resort in Phu Quoc

The building area (lobby, pool area, …) is outdated. Our room with garden view is clean, spacious but outdated. No chair service at the beach.
The restaurant for breakfast is very busy and noisy with Korean guests. The food at breakfast is only 2* and is not fresh, not comparable with other 5* resort. Coffee is terrible!
In overall we rate the outdated Intercontinental resort in Phu Quoc as 4*- or 3*+, but does not by far deserve 5*.
The staff (front desk, room service) is very helpful though.

I had a wonderful dinner at LAVA for my birthday, the team upon knowing it was a special celebration were extremely attentive and caring. In particular, I would like to thank the Assistant Manager Le Cat Thuong for taking special care of us during our dinner, she took the time to explain all the dishes in detail and shared about the restaurant and hotel's history. Was a truly magical evening and a special thanks to the team for making it an incredible evening. We had the tomahawk and it was cooked to perfection.
Thanks to Le Cat Thuong and the team again, wonderful attentive service, would definitely recommend this restaurant to other people and would definitely come back.
Next, many appreciated to Mr. Canh Huynh, Sora & Umi Assistant Manager and Miss Maris, the services crew during the breakfast buffet time. They showed their enthusiasm and actively introduced the nearby tourist attractions. Very Impressive.

This resort is stunning, but still in it's infancy, with quite a way to go.

The rooms are stunning & we had a residence room for one night & ocean view for 6 nights.
Much preferred the layout of the ocean view room & tower.
I have just cleaned the glass on the balcony, to be able to see the beautiful sunset. It was not clean when we got here & not been cleaned since. It took me a whole 4 minutes to clean the inside of it, as that is where the filth was.
Shower glass is also never cleaned & quite grotty.
For a 5 star property, house - cleaning has a long way to go.

Breakfast was great, buffet dinner was extremely average for the price.

Yes would recommend, but have a little way to go. In-line with what has happened in the would the last few years, i am happy to be a little forgiving, but this needs to change.

Also, quite isolated, so awesome if you want to do nothing.

If you want to venture out, you will need a cab every time.

I sincerely hope they iron out some of these issues, as it really is a stunning property, with awesome staff.

A nice resort with high roof for sunset viewing

It is a nice resort with wonderful deck pool. The environment is tranquil and relaxing. The roof top bar for sunset viewing is nice as read and being verified when i was at the bar at evening. Personally felt the music sound at the bar is a little too loud when i was there.

Very nice modern resort which has been open for about 2 years. The resort management did struggle during the peak period over XMAS, and due to this there was a lack of service.

We also had a couple of maintenanance issues with the room such as bath leaking. There is nothing in the nearby surroundings, other than lots of construction, so you will need to go to town which is around 20 minutes by taxi at a cost of around 180000 VND.

Overall a good stay, but improvements are needed from a service angle.

Beautiful property - majority staff very nice — but one incident that was not cool.

I ordered calamari in their 19th floor club 2 different nights. Club with 4 people each night. I think 10 families were staying at the whole resort.

One night I got the real thing and the second night 1/2 were onion rings. The excuse - that it comes with onion rings as garnish. Item was obviously removed from the bill but how dishonest could you get? 390k I think was the price too for simple bar food.

Visited end of October and Phu Quoc was a ghost town - with what seemed to have a 100 new massive building projects happening at the same time.

Waterfall advertised - dried up.

Next time I’ll wait a month and go to Thailand.

The food cost at this place was ridiculous. We are talking higher than Western prices.

Beach was white imported sand. Looked like bay water.

Huge disappointment overall. Nice pools - but very warm.

Night Market 20 minutes a way was just a big old tourist trap.

The only down side to this property is the amount of rubbish in the ocean and on the beach. The squid fisherman that are fishing overnight throw all their rubbish overboard. The resort cleans their section of the beach every morning, but if you want to walk further along the beach it is literally like walking through a rubbish tip on the edge of an ocean. It is so disappointing to see such a beautiful coastline covered in rubbish. And while the resort cleans their section of the beach each morning, if you go for a swim in the ocean during the day, you are constantly dodging new rubbish just waiting to wash up on shore. Whilst this is not any fault of the resort, the lack of care by the locals to the environment is very disappointing on many levels.

Excellent service. Spacious room with walk in closet and bathtub. There's also a soundbar you can connect your music to. Pools are large and perfect. Kids pool are on the other side of the resort so the adults pool is nice and peaceful. Reckon the hotel brought in their own sand for a white sandy beach. Harnn Heritage spa was heavenly. Gym is very well equipped.

The rooms are amazing.. but they are not cheap so I would expect the rooms to be nice.. the food is ridiculously expensive.. it’s a new hotel, I would of thought they would have some discounts somewhere... they charge you to pick you up from airport and the price is really ridiculous when a normal taxi150k from airport to hotel.. it seems like it was 5% full when all the other hotels around the area are 80% full.. I’m wanted to check out the ink 360 skybar but it was closed for two days and for the rest of the week they were doing filming so basically almost everything else was shut.. Apart from the nice room and the nice pool I would never stay there again, it’s just ridiculously expensive and they charge you for every little thing and considering that it was quiet there you think they would have some promotion or some discount. Not even a free airport shuttle or free breakfast.. never again..!!!

Worst Experience at Any IHG Hotel

I have stayed at countless Intercon hotels, globally, and this was the worst. The design of the hotel was terrible. There was excess water from rain throughout the hotel, including the entrance to the rooms and restaurants. It was so bad that when I went to have breakfast, the staff tried to seat me at a table where there was visible water leakage (the staff tried to force me to sit at a table where rain was leaking on the table). There was rain water leaking into the buffet tables, which in most countries would be a health hazard. The F&B facilties were lacking in selection and the service was just lousy. In my opinion, I have stayed at local hotels with better service. No way should this be rated a 5* Hotel.

空港からタクシーで17分と近い。バス停も近くにあります。高齢者は60円。部屋の前にプール、海、庭があり移動に便利で綺麗です。課題は部屋の設備が少し古く、メンテナンスがあまり良くありません。シャワー室は排水が悪い、冷蔵庫の扉はシッカリ閉まらない。しかし静かで清潔、ゆっくり1週間滞在しました。

クラシックルームバルコニーオーシャンビューに宿泊しました。部屋からの眺めも良く。掃除も行き届いており、シャワーの圧力なども申し分なく、快適に過ごすことができました。スタッフの皆様の対応もとてもよかったです。ただプライベートプールの敷地内で営業しているOPツアー業者が実はホテルとは関係が無く、現金決済のみなので、いちいち部屋に戻らなくてはならなかったので、貴重品の預かりサービスをしてくれると嬉しかった。いずれにせよ、最高のホテルでした。

실망스러운 경험

너무 기대가 컸을까요. 체크인/체크아웃/식당 서비스가 좋아서 별 5개를 남기지만, 솔직히 이 가격에 어울리는 숙소는 아니었습니다.
TV 너무 작고 ott 지원 안되구요, 방에 객실키를 넣어서 전원을 켜는 시스템이 아니어서 외출시에 냉방과 냉장고가 자동으로 꺼집니다. 외출 후에 돌아오면 냉장고 안의 음료수가 미지근해져있구요.

프론트에 연락하니 테크니션이 오셔서 세팅을 바꿔주십니다. 이후에는 외출 다녀와도 냉장고 온도와 냉방이 유지되네요. 조치가 되어서 불만은 없지만, 아마도 컴플레인 없으면 주니어스위트룸을 쓰면거 온도조절/냉장고 온도조절을 마음대로 못하실지도 모릅니다.

설상가상으로 마지막날 조식 먹은게 뭔가 문제가 있었는지 와이프가 장염을 심하게 앓아서 고생하느라 비행기를 놓쳤습니다.. 2박3일동안 인터컨티넨탈 리조트 안의 식음료 말고는 먹은게 없었습니다.
가성비 최악, 별로 좋은 기억이 없어서 다시는 오고 싶지 않습니다. IHG 체인도 이용 안할거 같네요.

대기도 순서대로 제대로 안받고 자꾸 다른식당으로 가라고 푸쉬하고
결국 저희는 못먹고 나왔습니다
기분이 상해버려 좋은이미지는 깍이고 다음에는 또 가고싶지 않아요

Un hotel hermoso, ofrece un servicio excelente. Conserje Hannah muy amable y experimentada. Su spa es soñado, las terapias excelentes. Actividades como clases de yoga, meditación y Thai Chi hicieron que la experiencia sea aún mejor.

部屋が広く快適で使いやすい。スタッフの対応もグッド！ゲストは中国系と韓国。日本、欧米は少数派。
近隣の宿泊施設に小さいナイトマーケットがあり夕食に使ったが人が少なくて寂しい感じ。ミニコンビニもあり。
往々にして快適に過ごしました。

A disappointing 6 nights family trip

Came here for a family trip for 6 nights with an open mind despite all the reviews. But soon I understand why those visitors felt that way... The five star hotel could have provided more, it felt as though the staff ate lack of training, service was not top notch. Breakfast time is unacceptable, service was super slow and one time we had to wait for an hour for a high chair and self service ourselves with water. The kids enjoy the kids club and the kiddie pool. But that's just kids being kids, to me the hotel lack of ambience, it doesn't feel luxurious. Beach should be combed, water was polluted and there are a lot of rubbish. We were lucky enough to be offered club lounge access after spoken to resort manager about our experience. Club lounge was great, food was great compared to the rest of the hotel, we appreciate their quick reaction and it did make us feel a lot better. But overall, we came looking forward to a luxurious tropical holiday, but left a bit disappointed.
