Lovely hotel in a great location, right on the beach. Nice and quiet and a 5 min stroll into the quieter end of town. Housekeeping isn’t great. They didn’t clean the room very well, left the doors wide open while they were in there allowing mozzies in, we ran out of shower gel as it wasn’t refilled etc. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Excellent, gave us a cheap upgrade because of all the stairs I could not climb. Have some snacks and welcome drinks and a free hotel shuttle to airport.

Swimming pool is good and breakfast as well, room very spacios, shower very nice, but please keep doors and windows close as there are a lot of mosquitos.

The staff & property were very good. Property fabulous location, close to airport, private beach & good selection of restaurants outside property. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed of the amount that I had to pay for late checkout. Our flight was at 5.30pm & requested checkout at 3.30 which was provided but with a cost of $1,375,000 VDN which equates to just over A$$80. This l felt to be excessive for an extra 2 hours when checkout time was 1pm. Overall a fantastic property to relax just a shame of the late checkout fee.

Room was nice, good aircon, clean, nice outdoor shower but in order to get there you have to cross the room so half the sand ends up on the floor. A bit dark the room and the TV far from the bed. Also no access to Netflix.
Breakfast nice, restaurant okay.
Sun loungers (have seen better days)wood made and the foamy topper is very thin therefore not comfortable in the long run 😕 On a small private beach, the loungers a bit close to one another but nice.
The best is the actual resort with small bungalows and lush vegetation well manicured.

Lovely stay on the beach

Small hotel with a garden on the beach. Aeay from traffic and noicy bars, but you reach a number of restaurants and cafes in ten minutes walk.
The breakfast buffet is delicious and fresh with nice coffee (and cheese and a variety of bread).
Discreet cleaning and helpful staff. Beach chairs in the shadow under palms or in the sunshine. You choose.
If you are lucky, the fellow guests are quiet - if not, well that's how it can be ;-)
We loved this place for a relaxed beach holiday. If you are lucky, there will be beautiful sunsets too.

We stayed here with our 5 month old and really enjoyed our stay. Its in a good location. Lovely views from the pool and beach area. Good breakfast selection. Rooms could do with a little update but overally very clean and had everything we needed

We booked the private villa with private pool, however our pool and the public beach is actually only separated by a fence, other hotel guest keep walking around right in front of the private pool and they can see the whole view of our outdoor area. This is not what we expected with the price that we paid for a private villa.

The property was perfect. Smaller with mostly bungalows and not a high rise building. Beach is perfect and the proximity to everything worked for our trip. The ocean in front of the property is impeccable- the beach has no rocks no sticks no garbage and you can walk out a long way before it gets deep. To the management- the late night partying by some of the Slavic guests got old really fast. Most hotels shut that down at 10pm.

\"We selected this hotel as it had a similar look/feel online as a place we treasure on another island. The view from the pool wa magnificent and it was a lovely place to hang out. This was more like that place was before it was tidied up and was a bit shabby and ripe for some TLC. Nothing dreadfully wrong but does need a significant refresh. There are areas of the decking and paving around the pool that move (when I am sure they are not meant to!) and tiles from the pool lining missing.
The room was a good size, I do think some things get lost in translation and took 3 requests and 2 days to get the requested extra pillow (generally need replacing as some have some quite nasty stains) and 2 days for housekeeping to take the cup of coffee and beer glass from our balcony. The attention to detail not quite there, When they finally did clean they took our rubber door stopper we were using for security and also to stop the door rattling in the wind LOL :-)))
Bathroom looks like there was a leak in the ceiling - grout is nasty and needs redoing - ditto silicon. Shower very old and needs replacing - once in, between the tapware and the door handle there is not much space to move without banging into either. The huge bath that takes up 1/2 the bathroom is unnecessary - especially when the water take 2-3 minutes to warm and then only runs hot for 30-45 seconds before reverting to luke warm at best. While that was ok for the shower given the hot weather, not the temperature of

This is an older resort but great value for money. Restaurant manager Xuan was fab and a great host. Food both at breakfast and night means were delicious. Bungalow room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Pool was great. There is a free bus outside the gate to take you around the island. Overall loved it and we will be back 💗

The staff was impecable in their service and attentiveness; the villa was super clean and provided everything we needed; finally, though, the one flaw was the attitude of the receptionist, as she was combative, arrogant, and, overall, unpleasant to speak to.

The issue was: I rented a motorbike and was almost charged for a period of time which I did not use it. It was not explained to me that I needed to submit the key, by a certain time, in order to not be charged.

The communication needs to be a lot better and the receptionist needs to understand that she is there to HELP the client and NOT make them feel poorly. I will reconsider going there again because of my unprofessional, unpleasant experience with this young lady.

We had booked an executive bungalow and it did not disappoint, and we loved the outdoor shower and small patio. Easy to get Grab taxis and local restaurants/shops in walking distance as well.

Very disappointing experience

The hotel size was so small, which u can't feel it from the pics displayed. The receptionist basically just a table and sofa. The swimming was very small. There is not an actually 'beach' attached. The ware and current was to strong, raining every day. The staff cannot understand proper English, very tough to communicate with them. And the way they answered were like giving command . My room air con was not cool, tools us are 1 hrs to Explain to the staff, and finally was my husband to suggest them how to fix the issue. They are stubborn and not flexible. Reluctantly to change room for me. The wash roo. Area abit smelly. Overall the room very congested. I really don't enjoy my stay at all.. the only plus point was the breakfast was acceptable.

Exceptional service and accommodation. Stayed for 6 days in a partial ocean view villa. Accommodation spacious and very clean. All food and drinks were very reasonably priced, good quality. Breakfast was amazing, many options and different choices every day. Pool area overlooking the ocean, relaxing and excellent service by bar staff. Very accommodating no request was an issue. Planning on returning with whole family soon. Highly recommend

Great resort and we had amazing time here. Rooms are big, clean with super huge and comfy beds. Breakfast is rich and food is tasty. Swimming pool isn't deep but clear and area around the pool is nice.Staff was friendly but sometimes overattentive :)
A few cons for which I am not deducting any score are :
- Wi-Fi I'm the room can be graded from extremely poor to absent, but this could be specific to my room only ;
- minor reconstruction was done during the day including painting which made it unpleasant to be in the pool area due to smell for 2 days (which I cannot physically stand). Unsure why painting is done in the morning, but this should not be the case in high season

The Anja Beach resort is aptly named, located so you literally walk out onto the beach. This is a lovely designed hotel with smaller, villa/bungalow style rooms situated amongst well kept lawns and walk ways. Its a relaxed design unlike the overbearing large building block style of hotel like the one next to it. Not the Anja's fault but this hotel next door almost infringes on the atmosphere the Anja creates by having nice, low centreded style properties that allow you to really take in its sea-view location. The staff were all friendly, professional and offered local recommendations and liased with tour operators even at very short notice. Breakfast was good, a decent amount of choice. The room was nicely designed, we had a twin room but they were happy to put the beds together creating a massive double upon arrival for us. Nothing to fault, would like to have stayed a bit longer!

Elegant bungalow. Indoor and outdoor shower. Beautiful tiles. Very comfortable beds and great pillows. Nice breakfast. Clean sandy beach. Water not clear, stopped us Aussies from swimming in it but it didn't seem to worry the Europeans. Pool has ladder access only, so not good for older people. Had dinner here twice and the food was nice. Walked out of hotel and left where there are 3 or 4 restaurants and the food there was fabulous. Can't remember the name but lots of lanterns. Pick up from airport was smooth. Took taxi to night market for 80000 dong about 4ks away. Man came along beach selling fruit at lunch time. Lovely resort. Wifi no problem.

Great Room, Location, and Customer Service

My husband and I chose Anja Resort to do our 5 years anniversary vow renewal with friends.

Room: Our group booked 3 different rooms (superior sea view, deluxe sea view,villa). We were all happy with our rooms: clean, spacious, and great view. The room is modern but still has that rustic feeling to it, which we really liked. The only downside is they don't offer ironer. This is inconvenience since it will take them at least 1 hour to return your clothes. Other than that, we loved our room!

Location: Anja resort is 10' away by car from the airport and 6' scooter ride away to the main town. The resort does offer free shuttle to and from the airport, which we appreciate. The location is great as it's in between town and airport, so we are tucked away from the noise and busy street, but still close enough to enjoy the night market/seafood restaurant.

Foods: We ate breakfast there and it had a great selection to choose from. For lunch and dinner, we adventured out to eat seafood. They do offer lunch and dinner onsite near the pool, our friend said the foods were great.

Customer service: everyone was professional and friendly, can be compared to a 5 stars hotel. We had a glitch at our vow renewal and the GM emailed us personally to apologize and offered compensation, which we really appreciate.

Other services: they offer free bike rental! or can help you rent a scooter, call a taxi, etc.

We will definitely come back for another visit! Keep up the good work Anja Resort!

Mistake or stealing?

Room description is 45 m2, once we saw the room we thought they made mistake and gave us much smaller one. Reception explain to us that actually 45 m2 is including the terrace which belongs to the room but its not private! Therefore room itself is way much smaller... :( After we checked out we realized that we forgot ipad and panthenol spray at the room. Housekeeping was already cleaning the room and said that they didn’t find anything... So we stayed at the beach till evening assuming we probably packed it in big suitcases. We ask reception in the morning, if they find it, to leave it for us on reception, but nothing was found... At the evening we moved to other hotel and once we unpacked, we found out that we must left those things at the hotel. So we called them and asked them but they said no, nothing has been found... We kept pressuring and saying that we are still in near by area and we didn’t left Phu Quoc as they probably hoped... So receptionist said she will checked and we should call back. We called and she told us that they found ipad (no cosmetics) under the bed! and housekeeping has it, so we can come and pick it up next morning. We couldn’t locate ipad anymore so we decide to pick it up immediately, not waiting till morning and we found out the reason why to come not that evening but morning. Housekeeper took it home! So we had to wait till she will bring it, obviously ipad was already off. So .... mistake or stealing?

スタッフは親切で、客室も綺麗でした。ビーチ用のタオルとバッグ、サンダルもあり気軽にビーチに行けます。滞在中にルームキーがうまく動かなくなりましたが、すぐに修理してくれました。

近くのコンビニエンスストアやちょっとした食事ができるお店、マッサージ店は歩いて行ける距離にあります。KingKongMarketやナイトマーケットに行くためにGrabを利用する場合は、ドライバーを見つけるのに少し時間がかかるので注意！
