So I only stayed here one night, but it was perfect. From a spectacular view of the pool to a sumptuous breakfast, you just can’t go wrong with Daisy Resort. Also, the girl at the front desk made the checkin process trouble free. I enjoyed my stay so much that I’m sure the next time I’m in town I’ll stay here again.

Daily Village Resort & Spa

This review is for the Daisy Village Resort & Spa...see why below.

On the positive side:

- Quite hotel about 200m from the main road and 5-10 minutes easy walk to the beach
- Beautiful and large pool and pretty pool area
- Good for kids
- Very friendly staff
- Rooms were clean and a good size

However, there were a couple of issues that were annoying rather than being a disaster:

1/ We originally booked a large room (for 4 persons) at the Daisy Resort but we were later informed that our reservation has been changed to the Daisy Village Resort and Spa. The properties are right next to each other and appear to be jointly managed. The Daisy Resort is slightly higher quality. Given we had two children we therefore requested two adjoining rooms, one with double bed and one with two singles. This was all confirmed via email. When we arrived at the Hotel we were shown to our rooms which were next to each other overlooking the pool. However, a double bed in each which then proved problematic given we have boy and a girl who are approaching teens. The staff were generally very polite and friendly, but seemed a bit confused about what they should do. The room position was never rectified which means we had to change our sleeping arrangements for the 8 nights we were there.

2/ The organisation and availability of pool towels every morning was lacking. Probably 6 days out of 8 there were no pool towels in the morning and this then involved going to the other resort.

amazing stay

hotel staff is extremely kind and always ready to help. hotel is not right on the beach which can be a plus. we had the pool all to ourselves and the hotel overall is very quiet. we had to do a late check-out and they were super nice about it.
I would definitely stay here again.

Last 5 Days of Freedom

Young Lucy met us at the airport with a happy smile and settled us into the hotel quick and without fuss. This young girl made our experience memorable. We chose an Eco hotel, we loved the outside bathing facilities and our room was private and lovely. Pool fantastic as it was soooo hot!
Staff were fairly young and very attentive, we got to know them all. We celebrated our 36th Wedding Anniversary there, they put on a surprise dinner for us with balloons, cake and cocktails. What a night!
We were lucky it wasn't crazy touristy, therefore we had plenty of room at the restaurant and pool.
A bus took you into the night market, very handy.

Amazing, natural and beautiful

What an amazing place. The view is outstanding. The pool! Wow! The bathroom that is kind of outdoors is so special. I didn't have any trouble with mosquitos during my showers. The staff were exceptional and so helpful in every way. If you are after something away from the hubub of you quoc then this is your olace. Super reasonable price too!! Highly recommend!

Lovely peaceful hotel

I had a lovely 7 night stay at Daisy resort.
The staff were excellent and very friendly and when there was an issue with the power in my room they upgraded me into a bungalow at the top with fantastic views.
The swimming pool is superb, large and deep with great views. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant staff look after you. I did eat dinner at the restaurant many times and was very happy with the quality of the food which was not overpriced. The walk to the beach is a good 10min however they have a regular shuttle and also a night shuttle to the market.
I would recommend this hotel I actually did not leave the hotel much as it had everything I needed plus beautiful gardens and view.

Always made an effort to make our stay comfortable - assisting with tour planning and giving us directions, running up to us with an umbrella if it was raining... made our stay very comfortable. Nice rooms, pool, decent breakfast... convenient bus which takes you to/from the night market.

Daisy Hotel was hands down the best stop on our two week tour of Vietnam!! The rooms are spacious and very sweet, each with its own hammock. The Spa services are top notch and guests het discounts. The services were perfect, and include everything from transport to/from the airport and shuttle to/from the beach/night market, to cooking classes and happy hours. The breakfast was a great mix between western and local staples and varied from day-to-day. We chose to stay in for dinner a few nights and were never disappointed, with food on par with many other great eateries on the island. Also, the pool and view are prime! Everyone who works at Daisy was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. Lucy in particular had a huge positive impact on our experience. Not only was she attentive to our needs, but she went above and beyond to help us reschedule after a cancelled flight, even riding to the airport with us to make sure it worked out! Diamond and Elise were also extremely helpful and kind. Overall we'd wholeheartedly recommend Daisy Hotel for family/couple travel! (It may be a bit more challenging to be a solo traveler here, but happy hours and cooking classes are quite social!)

Lovely setting, nice and quiet, nice pool. Friendly staff.clean rooms. Outside toilet and shower. Which we soon got used to.walked to the beach, had a lovely coffee at a bar. The resort will take you to the night market and pick you up a couple of hrs later. Well worth a visit.

A quality oasis near all amenities

Lovely setting, nice bungalows with lots of space; lots of greenery around, not concrete. Spa, restaurant, pool, bar, happy hour, why leave? Van to take you to/from airport for free, ditto the town, the beach, market or anywhere you like within a few km. Very friendly, helpful staff, always aiming to improve the service.

Depends on what you are looking for but I'd say that the staff really tries to make you feel welcome, especially Peter. However, I feel that there's several tweaks they can make. We were looking for the best beaches to go to. The staff wasn't sure what to recommend and didn't describe any of them or what they are good for. It's pretty basic info that they didn't have readily available but that's more management's problem than the staff. The breakfast was low on some foods. They should take away empty platters vs leaving it there. Looks a bit odd when you go and see very little left. The wifi didn't really work in the room. It was very spotty at best. Was fine everywhere else on the property and the AC was not very strong.

Quirky little gem of a resort set in lush tropical greenery with fabulous pool, lovely breakfast and terrific staff who can't do enough for guests. Several staff speak very good English and will book tours or onward flight etc with pleasure. A little way from the beach and up a hill but taxis are very very cheap and plentiful.

Great setting for a relaxing time.

We stayed 4 nights at Daisy resort and had a wonderful time. The setting was picturesque with the bungalows surrounded by flowers, set on a hillside. The bungalow we stayed at was a deluxe and was spacious and comfortable. The private bathroom was partly outside which we enjoyed. However we recommend keeping the door shut to the bedroom so as to keep out unwelcome visitors.
The pool was nice, and the staff extremely attentive.

This hotel was a good price for the area. It is not on the beach but is within walking distance. The prices on the beach were at least double. There is a pool, bar, and restaurant on site. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and offered both western and Asian foods. The beach within walking distance was not the nicest but I think it is one of the more popular ones in terms of crowds. You can rent a scooter or hire a driver through the hotel to visit other beaches on the island.

Beautiful place, great pool, wonderful staff

We stayed here 2 nights and loved it! While the location is quite far from the beach, it seems irrelevant as most of the beach front in Duong Dong is monopolized by the big resorts who will not allow you to access the beach adjacent to their property. And depending on the time of year, water/current/wave conditions may not be conducive to entering the water. Daisy Resort is pretty much self-contained with a beautiful pool with a great view, restaurant with reasonably priced delicious food, spa, bar, and, movie room and even have a pool table you can use. Majority of staff speak very good English unlike other hotels where miscommunication and frustration are common. Depending on where your bungalow is situated, you may have problems with mosquitoes or background noise from clubs partying down on the main road. We have no complaints about our bungalow which was close to the restaurant. Could hear music from the clubs below, but it didn't affect our sleeping. Then again, we have a 10 month old son so we had our own noise-maker. Bonus was that the staff bought my wife a birthday cake to celebrate and didn't charge us for it!

Excellent staff and close to the beach

We decided to stay in Vietnam for an extra week, but didn't have any plans after Saigon. We found Daisy Resort and headed there for the end of our stay. It's a beautiful tropical setting, up a hill with a view of the water. The beach is a 2 minute walk away or you can rent a scooter and go wherever. We did meet a couple people who had scooter accidents do to going too fast on the dirt roads, but make sure wherever you get your ride you check the tires and general condition before heading out. The staff at Daisy is outstanding! The rooms are comfortable, except our bed was pretty hard. They could use some mattress pads or something, but everything else was excellent.

A beautiful setting

This hotel has a beautiful setting in lush gardens with a view to the sea. It is a but far from the town and the local beach is a fair walk but it is well positioned for taxis into Sao Beach, the main sightseeing points and Duong Dong town which are not expensive at all. It only cost about £1 to get to town. You can also hire bikes and mopeds from reception at a good price.
The breakfast selection is fantastic and the views from the pool are beautiful.
The staff cannot do enough for you and are really friendly.
The rooms are very big with a large comfortable bed and sofa area and the outdoor bathroom is brilliant. Just watch for bugs!
It isn't perfectly clean but it is clean enough and was just some extra dust and teabags wrappers that hadn't been picked up.
All in all this is a perfect little hotel and I would happily stay there again.

lovely small resort for personal experience

We were upgraded to a pool view room and also had a view of the sea. The room was a very spacious cottage with a little balcony and we loved our proximity to the pool where we spent some time each day. The pool is large so no one feels as if they are imposing on the other guests. It is nice to have a relaxing place to be away from the rubbish that is everywhere on this island and a personal experience compared with staying at a huge resort. We really enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and can see why it has such good reviews on trip adviser. The staff here could not do enough for us, so friendly. The pool had plenty of sunbeds and quiet despite going in high season and school holidays. The view over the sea and surrounding hills is gorgeous, perfect for sunset cocktails during happy hour 5-6pm.

I was a but dubious about the outside bathrooms, during the day i enjoyed the cool showers, the only thing i didn't like was using the bathroom at night time. The rooms are comfortable and as pictured.

About a 15 min walk to the beach but taxis are so cheap and you can also hire a moped for next to nothing. I would definitely recommend going to Sao Beach. About 40mins away.

Beautiful surroundings

We stayed here for two nights. We were picked up from the airport and since we got there just as they were finishing breakfast, we were offered breakfast at no extra cost. They checked us in while we had breakfast and were shown to our room before checkin time. The resort is set well kept and and the staff go out of their way to help. The outside bathrooms were such lovely but be prepared to get bitten though. The fruits in the room is a nice treat.

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was amazing! We hardly left the resort, the pool was big and clean. The buffet breakfast was great. The best thing about the resort was the staff. They are so helpful and lovely. We would definitely recommend this resort.

We stayed here for 6 nights and received the best service everyday. Jack, PJ, Lester, and all the other staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The resort is nice with individual huts for each room. The washroom (shower, toilet, sink) was outdoor, which we thought was a cool feature. The resort also had great food. Well worth the money

Stayed here in the Middle of December and had a great time. Staff was very friendly and the location was perfect. It's a short walk to the beach and to Rory's Bar. The night market was right down the street also, probably a 15 minute walk. Jack was the best, he was in the bar area and made sure we had everything we wanted and always greeted us by name with a smile. He went above and beyond for everything. Linx at the front desk was a sweetheart. She made sure we had everything we need when we left or entered the resort. Our garden room was like a little bungalow with all of the amenities (TV with cable, AC, WiFi, refrigerator, etc..). The outdoor bathroom was a nice change. Two showers with great water pressure. Breakfast had a good spread with fresh juices, and an assortment of western and Asian breakfast items. The omelets were delicious. There's no question that I would stay here again. This place is topnotch.

Absolutely fantastic resort in a stunning setting. The staff were incredible & couldn't do enough for us, they really enhanced our stay. The food was delicious & we took advantage of the happy hour (5-6pm) every day for 2-4-1 cocktails! The rooms were lovely & the outdoor bathroom was great. There is a shuttle bus to the beach & you can get taxis for next to nothing to get to the night market or anywhere else you want to go. We also hired scooters from the hotel & explored the island which I would recommend. There are lots of beautiful beaches that are almost deserted around the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & I can't recommend the Daisy Resort enough!

Great place to relax, nice pool, rooms awesome

Had a great stay here, so much so that we didn't leave the resort. The staff were great but possibly overworked and not enough staff, they were under the pump a few times and they seemed to be working 24 hours a day! They were very lovely and helpful.
The rooms were excellent, and the outdoor bathroom was brilliant.
If you don't like screaming kids, maybe avoid this place....there were more kids than adults. Didn't bother us though.

Small piece of paradise in Phu Quoc

The best stay ever (and we have stayed in a lot of places). Service was exceptional. Beautiful grounds, peaceful and secluded even though just a 5 min scooter ride to the centre of Duong Dong and 2 mins from Long Beach and lots of beautiful restaurants and bars. Buffet breakfast in Daisy's restaurant was comprehensive and yummy, dinner is well priced and delicious, specialising in vietnamese food. It was my wife's birthday and our anniversary and the staff went over the top to accommodate us and our plans. We would like to thank the Managers Lamp and Jasmine for upgrading to a bungalow with a private pool, and for running a great team and enabling the staff to organise a special cooking class as a present for my wife then going out of their way to organise a romantic dinner on our veranda including candles, balloons, music, wine and a cake! Special thank you to the chefs Trung Nguyen and Trung Vo who accommodated our requests while coping with a busy kitchen. Happy hour every night from 5 - 6pm. Thank you to Lester, barman extraordinaire, Mikee on reception, Yen, Diamond, Forever, Lai, Linh and all the staff. PJ and Jack customer service supervisors, without whom nothing would run as smoothly and who bent over backwards to ensure all was happy. All ready with a smile. We feel as though we have made new and valued friends. Thank you all. We would definitely recommend Daisy Resort to everyone, from families to couples to singles all were welcomed.

Have done a 2 nights. Very welcome and friendly staff with good english. The bungalow is very comfortable with all necessary items incl aircondition. The open bathroom on the air. Complimentary airport roundtrip transfer. Weclome juice. Free bicycle. Onsite rent a motobike. Breakfast is ok but not special. Very tasty Vietnamese pancakes.
Wifi is ok. the hotel located not on the first line, but they provide free shuttle on request to beach (3 min driving)
The hotel don't have the direction indicator from main road - if you riding motobike or bicycle - don't forget remember the orientation for returning to hotel, especially on evening or night time!!!

Very nice hotel. Pool was great. The food especially the vietnamese food was great. Staff were great. The hotel is a fair way from the beach but we took a taxi to a beach far away and didn't go to local beach anyway. We intend to go back to phu quoc next year and will most likely stay at daisy hotel again. The hotel also had free pick up and drop off at the airport.

Came to Phu Quoc for a 3 day getaway from Ho Chi Minh City. The Daisy Hotel was perfect. It's set up on the hill with a great view out over the ocean. Only downside is it is not on the beach, but that really wasn't a problem. It just meant walking down the hill. The staff were very friendly and always keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

I had a bad day due to personal stuffs, but after I arrive there I had great times. Super friendly staffs and manager, quiet and peaceful location and nice outdoor pool ! Plus free airport shuttle. I can't say anything bad about this resort. Don't know why this resort is 3star. It's worth 4-5 star I think. Hôtel laissé à l’abandon depuis plusieurs années. Sale. Délabré. Personnel ne parlant pas un mot d’anglais. Une honte pour Expedia d’afficher cette note imméritée. J’ai dû payer la moitié du séjour malgré que j’ai quitté après la première nuit. Terminé Expedia en Asie avec un service client inadapté. Fuyez! Arnaque!

Located conveniently central, Daisy Resorts offer tranquility, an incredibly positive, helpful, genuinely welcoming staff, who seem to enjoy working there. The pool area is great, and, unlike most of the beaches in the area, you can choose if you want music or not… If you’re in Phu Quoc solely for the party scene, this may be a tad on the quiet side, but if you want a resort where the people working there are really nice and the level of service seems heartfelt and upscale backpaker-ish…by all means stay here…I most certainly would..!!

Vi blev uppgraderade till villan med privat pool och den var underbar! Rekommenderar verkligen att lägga de extra pengarna om man har möjlighet. Överlag ett väldigt prisvärt och trevligt hotell med enkla men fina rum i bungalow-stil. Personalen var mycket trevlig och personlig - de ansträngde sig verkligen för att man skulle ha en trevlig vistelse. Frukosten var enkel men god.

海に近い山の中のホテル

飛行機の出発が深夜だったので、昼から夕方にかけて利用しました。
部屋に行くまでに階段が多いので疲れますが、荷物はスタッフの方が持ってくれます。
ホテルから徒歩五分程度で美味しピザやさんもあります。
部屋は快適に過ごせますが、シャワーとトイレが外にあるので蚊との戦いは避けられません。部屋に蚊取り線香が置いてありますが、何せ山の中なので効果は薄いです。

숲속 정원 느낌 만족한다
하지만 스텝의 의사소통과 적극성이 부족하다
숙소로 가는길에 가로등이 전혀 없다
