We stayed 6 nights in the beachfront bungalow. It surpassed our expectations. If you’re looking for a stress free stay on a beautiful beach this is it. The breakfast was delicious, Kim was very helpful with all our needs and always super nice. Highly recommend this place

Beachfront Bliss

Fantastic location with a beautiful vibe, situated right on the beach – you can’t ask for a better spot! We opted for the beachfront bungalow upgrade, and it was absolutely superb, with stunning views and the sound of the waves just steps away. The area has plenty of great restaurants within a short walking distance, making dining out incredibly convenient.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, offering helpful tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. While it’s not the cheapest option, the pricing feels fair considering the unbeatable location and the quality of the experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway by the sea!

Perfect if you’re looking for a small basic bungalow on the beach. Very comfortable but it’s not a traditional big hotel experience. kim and her assistants are charming and authentic. Great coffee and breakfast (delicious fruits pancakes). Kim is fluent in French and English and is generous with her time explaining details about Vietnam.

Simple but lovely bunglaows very close to the sea

Lovely simple bungalow-style rooms only a stone's throw from the beach. The rooms are simple and basic, but were very clean and well maintained (as are the lovely garden areas around the bungalows). Good size comfortable double bed - with an easy to use mosquito net. I didn't use the wife, but a nice surprise were the very extensive internet TV options. One of the best things about the property is being able to sit out in the morning enjoying the delicious breakfast (seafood rice noodle soup recommended ....) overlooking the sea. The owner, Kim, is absolutely charming and he was very helpful throughout (and before - in arranging a taxi transfer and a super-late arrival of 1am). There are number of local restaurants nearby, as well as a small café attached to the property, where they also make fresh bread and very excellent pastries. This was our first trip to this island, but after staying here both my wife and I are agreed this is the place we will return to for out next trip!

This bungalow was absolutely perfect! Me and my fiancé had a wonderful time and enjoyed the resort greatly! Staff was friendly and always available to help in every way. Great location within steps of the beach with an area sectioned for lounging on the beach. Never seen any pan handlers which is nice to avoid! Great location with many restaurants to chose from on the few streets within minutes of walking. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent location, steps from the beach!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Staff are wonderful and the location cannot be beat. The bungalow was simple and clean and each one has a porch with table and chairs. The cafe on the beach provides breakfast, which was a great start to each day. Kim does a fantastic job managing her business and makes you feel like one of the family.

A Pleasant Stay on the Beach

The beach is beautiful and swimming was great. The property is right on the beach and was perfectly located for our purposes. There were a number of restaurants along the beach that suited our need so we never left the beach area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our taxi picked us up as scheduled with no difficulty. We booked a stay for 5 nights in a superior room. The wifi didn't not work in the room - we had to go outside and the bed was hard. After 3 days, the management moved us (without extra charge) to a beachfront room which was great. A more comfortable bed and wifi was good. If you can afford the extra $$ for the beachfront, you will enjoy it.

Awesome little gem!

This hotel is an awesome little find for the price! beachfront bungalow is directly on the beach with a private patio where hotel staff will serve breakfast just for you. the accommodations are clean and have everything you need - including a small refrigerator for storing cold drinks to grab while you lounge on the beach just outside your door. hotel staff were very kind and accommodating.

Pleasant at Beachfront, Phu Quoc

When wind and surf strong, we got nervous because 15 feet from front door to ocean is too close, but when a nice day, less wind, and ocean calm, we got the front seat, with a glass of wine and food, the best room we got on the entire beach. This is a rainy season, we got 3 days of rain and lucky we also got 3days of very nice days, enjoy it.

We stayed in a bungalow right on the beach.

This is a family run group of beach bungalows. They are very friendly. Keep in mind this is a beach bungalow. The room was clean and comfortable. Tiled floor. Air conditioning (keep the bathroom door closed to maximize the ac) and fan. Comfortable bed with mosquito net. Mini-fridge. Clothes washing service available.

They have a restaurant/bar from 7 am to early evening. The free breakfast was very good. We ate dinner at the lively Dinh Cau Night Market.

There are bodega stores just outside the entrance. It is a 5-10 minute taxi to Dinh Cau. There are beach restaurants/bars within a short walk along the beach.

We were there 2 days. One day they arranged for an excellent snorkeling trip to the islands to the south of Phu Quoc. The second day we spent on the beach in front of our bungalow. Massages and pedicures on the beach. Don't miss the amazing sunsets.

Location!

Cute little 2 star place with easy access to the beach and many choices for eating. Their little restaurant is easy and good for breakfast and drinks can be ordered through the day. As we mentioned to the owner, friendly staff, good to get clean towels and beach towels daily but the bed was uncomfortable. We heard the same from other guests so we hope they do something about this.

Hibiscus lathered bungalows by the beach

We really enoyed our stay in this family run establishment. Kim is super friendly and very helpfull, we stayed to more days than we inniatily booked in the end. You have all you need for a comfy stay by the beach. Plenty of restaurants around and a beach bar and if you need some tips of what to do or where to go just ask the host. Oh and you should try the home made sorbet ice cream , delicious!

Great location for good price

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is a very short walk to the beach, although the rooms aren't actually on the sand, but walk down a lovely garden path and he ocean is right there. It's in a nice area of long beach with lots of restaurants and a great feel. The owner, Kim, is extremely nice and helpful, she speaks excellent English and French as well. All of the Phu Quoc hotels seem to higher priced than other hotels in Vietnam, so I think it is good value for money and I would definitely stay again!

Kim is a fantastic host but the rooms are for the budget minded and very basic. Breakfast again very basic with little choice but what they cook is good.Overall a reasonable stay but as they say you get what you pay for.

I really enjoyed the Stay in the hotel. They were really helpful, they have laundry service, different tours and motorbikes (you can only drive if you have an international driver's license, but they have someone that can drive you wherever you want). They also take credit card for all the things you need to pay, and the hotel is close to the airport, it has air conditioner, and is located right in front of the beach, with the best sunsets you will ever see. (the only thing I didn't like that much is that phu quoc has a lot of garbage in the beaches, but at least the front of the hotel is pretty clean). I would stay there again.

Great little bungalow just a few steps away from the beach. The room was nice and clean and the service was good. The owner/manager helped us find some great day tours on the island and the staff at the restaurant/bar even cooked the seafood we bought at the market for our group.

The location is directly on the beach and the hotel staff very helpful. However the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
The food at the beach restaurant was not too good but breakfast was OK. The restaurant/bar was not open in the evening which was disappointing so had to use bar next door which had better good anyway.

Mixed due to bad room 1st night, room # 24. The AC did not work and lots of mosquitoes. The 2nd night in room # 22 was OK. We would stay again in this room. Ms Kim who owns and runs the hotel is excellent. She made arrangements for our taxi to the pier and take away breakfast. The location is good, on the beach and near an alley full of restaurants.

I was only there for a few days but I enjoyed it. I was a bit surprised at the room for what I paid, but it seems to be normal for the island. The rooms are pretty standard and the bed is quite firm. Personally, I like Vietnamese mattresses, but most foreigners do not. The room was clean and the shower was warm. There was a TV but I never turned it on. I only ate once at the restaurant, for breakfast, and it was pretty good. For me it was worth it for the location. My bungalow, was about a 30 second walk to the beach. If you want to be close to the beach I say go for it. I doubt you will find much cheaper. However, if you want to save money you can stay further from the beach and rent a bike. Or pay the same amount of money and get a better room. But, for me, being close to the beach was worth 53 USD a night.

Pleasant, friendly place

We stayed 3 nights in this pleasant, friendly place. Basic by American or euro standards but good value for a beach hotel in Viet Nam. Kim is a very good hands on manager. The included breakfast allows for choice of eggs and fruit or Viet noodle soup. The beach is clean and safe (no rock or coral, no big surf).

My stay at Phuo Quoc Kim Bugalows

This hotel with its little chalets is perfect for a stay at the beach. The rooms were fairly basic but clean and comfortable and just a few meters from the beach and all the bars, restaurents and of course, the sea. One of the two large twin beds had a mosquito net which was essential for the area. All the chalets had tables and chairs outside where I could sit with a beer and a cigar in the evening. There was TV in the room as well as free Wi-Fi (I hate to admit it but I regard this as essential these days and feel it a big disadvantage when a hotel doesn't provide it).

A nice touch was a large earthenware pot of water and big wooden ladle outside each chalet to watch the sand off your feet before going into the room.

No breakfast was included in the price of the room but this could be ordered and delivered to the room or eaten in the dining area inside the reception. It's hardly a problem as there are cafes everywhere serving Asian as well as Western food.

The ambience of the place is friendly and relaxing which is a reflection of the character of the Vietnamese people. We were met with nothing but smiles and helpfulness. We were able to hire bikes right next door to the hotel with no fuss or hassle to explore the island.

My only reget is not being able to stay longer.

Great location, beach front

The staff was great- family run. I paid extra for the beachfront bungalow which allowed me to hear the waves each night. The only thing that bugged me was that I rented a moped from one of the staff members and when I asked him if he would only charge me for a half day since I was leaving for the airport he said yes but when it came time to pay they charged me a full day. They are still doing construction on the property but overall is was a great place and friendly staff.

It was very nice, we stayed at the bungalow located on the beach, simply perfect. Bungalow was spacious and clean, with mosquito net, mini-bar, and TV. Breakfast was good, served at the bungalow. We had no problems what so ever and we stayed there for a week.

An interesting experience!

I think the best word to describe this hotel is disorganised, but at worst it was almost as laughable a scene from Fawlty Towers. Booked months in advance and paid up-front for 3 nights, the hotel was meant to pick us up from the airport, but didn’t. When we called them, they kept hanging up (very grateful to a security guard at the airport for his help with the hotel). An hour later we were at the hotel, but it was clear it was still a building site and I still don’t know if the hotel had a reception or not? Anyway they tried to put my friend and I in the same room, when we had 2 separate room bookings. The rooms weren’t ready to the extent furniture including beds were brought across from other rooms in the hotel, they tried to change the room type even though I had paid up front. Staff were very helpful in a reactive way, but not very proactive. Issues: No closed wardrobe or draws, no room safe, no lamps and very little natural light when the shutters were closed, as there is no glass windows the shutters have to be closed for the air con to even attempt to work (the shutters aren’t adjustable so the rooms are open to insects and gecko’s), poor bathroom design (splash room drains towards the toilet and the waste bin). The only real disappointment was that it cost more than treble other hotels in Vietnam and it was easily the most unprofessional hotel I have ever stayed at! Pro's : On the beach, close to some nice restaurant's and the Amigo's bar :)

Lovely family boutique resort on the beach

Kim and her Boutique appartment complex is just wonderful. She is a great host, speaks fluently English, French, Vietnamese and helped us arranging trips and getting infos about people and Puo Quoc Island. Appartments are really good, very comfortable and the garden is beautifully maintained. It’s a family business in second generation hands with private terrace and sunbeds on the beach - if you are not looking for a 5 star resort, this is the place to go!

Staying at Phu Quoc Kim’s Bungalow has been nothing but lovely! As a host and person Kim is wonderful and so is everyone around her. The room was simple yet beautiful and from our garden view bungalow we could still see the beach and the ocean from our door step. Only wish we would have stayed longer and really hope we can come back for another visit soon.

This bungalow has great benefit, esp owner has sincerly heart. If couple came here u guys might be prepare bug killer, of coruse facilty little bit poor but not big matter of ur happy travel. If u hesistate ur booking, i definitely recommend this bungalow. Ocean view n safe facility r great.

한국인들을 위해서 말하자면 시설 자체가 뛰어난 편은 아닙니다. 벌레가 많고 문이 중간중간 조금씩 뚫려 있어서 잘못하면 잠자면서 음청 고통 받을 수 있습니다. 다만 벌레 기피제 + 에프킬러 하나 큰거 근처 킹마트가서 사오셔서 다 처리하고나면 몹시나 좋습니다
주인 아주머니가 영어도 잘하시고 친절함 끝판왕입니다
오션뷰도 너무 좋아요. 만약 커플분이시면 무조건 바다가 바로 보이는 2층 방을 예약하시는걸 추천해요!!
