Overall very disappointing. Been travelling through the Phillipines and Vietnam for almost 2 months … staying at numerous hotels along the way and by far, this was the worse hotel to date. The staff were unhelpful at every turn - if only they paid as much attention to their customers as they do their phones. In addition, there were bugs in the room and the shower water didnt drain causing the bathroom floor to flood and creating a safety risk. Would not recommend.

Easy access to the beach Bãi Bà Kèo; the room is very clean, it has a lot of spaces, rooftop pool is excellent, nice ocean view and breakfast buffet is great with local fruits, we are really enjoying it! Definitely come back to stay next time.

Really good hotel, great location & rooftop area, pool & bar, was excellent. Staff were very helpful. Only slight negative was the bath in the room. The side of the bath was very high and if you have mobility issues this will be a problem. The shower head above the bath was low for someone over 5 feet 8 inches.

We had a rough start with a harried front desk lady - but they made amends. If you have an option - the guys at the front desk are more helpful with better English.
Our room was large, quiet and with comfortable beds and a partial ocean view. There is a small rooftop infinity pool which was nice.
We were a three minute walk to the main road with tons of restaurant and bars. There was a great little restaurant called Grandmas Kitchen just a few steps away.
A bit south of the main Duong Dong town which was great because the middle of town is noisy and crowded. The beach is a 3 minute walk cutting through beachfront resorts. There is a free electric bus that runs from the airport through town every 10 minutes which was fantastic.
The breakfast buffet was very good with something for everyone.
I do recommend Aquasun.

Lovely spot near the beach

This was our first time staying in Aquasun and we found it to be a nice clean hotel within a close distance to both the beach and the main shops and restaurants. The morning buffet was varied and tasty and the sea views from the rooftop were impressive. The pool is partly covered which means it would be pleasant to swim in the warmer months but unfortunately just a little too cold for us this time. Altogether a great place for reasonable rates and we will look to return next time on Phu Quoc

Overall we had a lovely stay at Aquasun. The hotel itself is beautiful throughout. Breakfast buffet options were fabulous, though perhaps not as many vegetarian options (which we found on Phụ Quoc generally). Staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay and experience the island. We did find the rooms somewhat noisy (adjourning rooms had families with young children and the noise woke us early). The surrounding area doesn’t reflect the high standards of the hotel, but does reflect the standards of the way of life for many locals. Lots of amazing food and nightlife options in walking distance and we felt safe wandering around the nearby streets. We had a few minor issues with the room but generally an excellent stay. We would stay again and recommend to others. Terrific value for money!

We are family of 5 - took 2 executive rooms.
Hotel staff is very kind and helpful. Assisted us with anything we needed.
For extra services (transportation, attractions) they charged as the market prices without any fees or commissions.
Food was ok, we don’t eat meat and chicken, they kindly offered us some options.
Location is walkable from the Main Street where all the restaurants and shops are.

our family of four stayed in a double queen bed accommodation. It was a convenient location for us and not far from the airport. the room was a bit small for us and our luggage. I would opt for a bigger room or separate rooms next time. the free breakfast was great for us in the mornings with many options for different food restrictions we had. the fan in the bathroom didn’t work too well, leaving the bathroom quite hot after showers. the view from the room was nice and the staff was accommodating. we requested for a safe to be put in our room as one was not already there. the cleaning service was prompt and friendly. overall, we would stay here again!

Really Awesome hotel with remarkable staffs all the front desk staffs are so caring , polite and very helpful .
Ms Van you are really wonderful recommended nice and wonderful places for us to visit and the arrangement of transport was fantastic.
Hotel also provide pick up and sending service to Airport free that extra mile service . Thumps up .

From the moment we got to the hotel, we were greeted with such kindness. The amenities were great - especially the pool. The free breakfast was very filling. If we could, we would give 10+ for Nam with “glasses” (front desk reception) and the hotel owners for going beyond of taking great care of us during our stay!!! I was sick for two days. On the third day, I called the front desk reception, Nam answered and advised us to go to the SOS clinic (prompt and thorough service) instead of the hospital (long wait) or the other clinic nearby. To our surprised when we came down for breakfast, Nam advised us that he had booked a complimentary taxi to take us to the SOS clinic. While we were having breakfast, a well mannered lady (later found out from Nam that she is the owner) noticed that I wasn’t eating all of my food on my plate and wanted to know if there was anything she can do. I told her that I wasn’t well with my throat hurting when swallowing. She said that I must have strep throat (which was confirmed later by the doctor) and asked if I have rinsed my mouth with salt water. I responded “no” and later send some up to our room. The total cost including doctor checkup, X-ray, blood test and medication was 1.5 M dong (equivalent to $82 CAD). The whole process only took 1.5 hrs which is the fastest result that I have ever experienced! Within two hrs of taking the medication my throat no longer hurts. Upon learning of our early departure at 5 AM, Nam offered a complimentary taxi to the airport and packed up sandwiches and drinks for us. We have recommended this hotel to my family and friends! We definitely will come back!!!

Don't stay at Aquasun

When we arrived, no one came out to help us with our luggage, we had to carry it up the stairs ourselves. I stood at the desk and no one acknowledged me one lady was running around and then eventually the owner offered us welcome drinks. The app for hotels.com glitched and messed up my booking so I had to pay more when I checked in. The breakfast buffet has deli meats, fruit and yogurt baking under sunlight by the window which I think contributed to the yogurt tasting spoiled for 2 breakfasts in a row and it gave me food poisoning. The shower tub is too high you need a step stool to get in and could easily slip getting out or getting into the shower. There's no shower curtain or door so water gets all over the bathroom floor and toilet after every shower. The employees don't smile at you when you leave or enter the hotel. There is no safety lock box. Before I checked out I asked a taxi driver how much a ride to the airport would cost. Compared to Grab, it would be almost the same price. When checking out I asked the hotel employee to arrange a ride to the airport. We got into the same taxi driver's car and at the airport I asked how much I owed him and he gave me a price 4 times more than what he said to me previously. I got upcharged just because the hotel arranged the ride? Just take Grab, don't take any taxi rides or rides arranged by the hotel. They are scammers. At least other hotels had my best interest in mind and would recommend Grab, this hotel only cared for money.

Overall a nice hotel in the Central-Southern part of Long Beach. A good deal for the price. Staff is very nice and helpful, service was good. The only downside for us was that it is not on the waterfront and doesn't have it's own beach. Other than that, everything was great.

I have been to many hotels not only in Vietnam but to many locations in North America and the Caribbeans. The level of service offered by the staff at the Aquasun is second to none. From the moment we arrived they have treated us like family, truly going out of their way to make sure that we are happy with our stay. My wife got ill during the trip and everyone from the front desk to the kitchen staff to the owner Mrs. Phong went out of their way to offer support for my wife. To everyone at Aquasun, keep doing what you are doing. It's the quality of service and dedication of the staff that stands you out from the rest. We will be definitely be coming back.

The room I got was very spacious,clean, and had a beautiful view. TV with access to netflix and Youtube, I like watching something on either of these, so it makes a difference in a stay for me. The beach is about a 5 minute walk, there are different restaurants on there. The town restaurants are also a close walk. If not, there are grab taxis outside waiting to drive you to wherever you want to go. Hotel breakfast was good with a variety of options. What I didn't like was the bed and tub/shower situation. The mattress was very hard, and they only provided 2 pillows. Taking a shower was a bit of a challenge because the tub is perched so high that you need a little stool to enter. I didn't dare to stand as I showered because it felt like the tub would collapse. It would have been better for them to just have a shower instead. The airport is a close 15 min drive. If you're looking for an affordable stay, the hotel is good.

- The beach is very nearby just 100m walk, Nice beach. Location is convenient just right of the center, What make us love about this location is we can enjoy a beach bar next door, very chill place to sunbath and get lazy on the bean bag :)
- Rooftop swimming pool offer very nice view with top of Phu Quoc
- Worth every penny and highly recommend Aquasun

Das Hotel ist gut gelegend, sehr ruhig. Sauber. Es gab leider Paar Mängel: Boden ist ziemlich abgenützt. Der Balkon ist zu klein und es gab leider kein Wäscheleine, keinen Stühl, kein Sonnenschutz, also gar nichts. Personal ist höfflich, aber nicht nützlich. Frühstück ist in Ordnung.

Personalen på hotellet var väldigt tillmötesgående och trevliga. Toppnotch! Hotellet anser vi är ett 3-(ej 4) stjärnigt hotell. Lite slitet och en del grejer trasiga/sönder på hotellrummet. Badkaret ej handikappvänligt då det är högt och bred kant.
Frukosten godkänd och tillräcklig. Gymmet och poolområdet på taket undermåligt och i behov av upprustning.
Hotellets läge är mycket bra, nära stranden och huvudgatan.

La chambre est grande, propre et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est varié et satisfaisant. L’accueil est bon à l’arrivée, même si les informations fournies restent limitées.
En revanche, les parties communes pourraient être améliorées : il y fait très chaud et l’hôtel manque un peu de charme et d’un accueil plus personnalisé.
Globalement, c’est un bon établissement avec un bon rapport qualité-prix, malgré quelques points à améliorer.

Ok hotell med stort rum, men är ju inte sånt hotell man vill bo på sånt här ställe. Rätt ocharmigt. Vi bytte till bo på närliggande resort vid stranden. Läget på hotellet är dock bra, nära till restauranger och strand.

Frukosten var stökig och högljöd. Man ville mest därifrån. Passade inte oss alls. Trevlig personal.

What you see is not what you get! Chambre de luxe: mur abîmé, peinture sur plinthe, miroir Touch screen salle de bain non fonctionnel et qui flash, lumière au Led blanc froid - pas terrible pour le romantisme, bain douche qui requiert un petit banc pour y grimper - et sans rideau de douche.

Piscine mal entretenue, algues vertes dans les parties ombragées, tuiles devant le bar du roof top cassées, drains de plastiques autour de la piscine brisés, éclats de sang sur le mur donnant accès à la piscine non nettoyés, etc etc. Un gros manque d’entretien général, et si on avait pu quitter pour aller ailleurs, on l’aurait fait. Heureusement qu’ils ont un personnel accueillant (Kay et Van, puis Duong au bar)!
