The staff was amazing and the breakfast was super good! The only thing is that my room smelled like dog- I understand that their may be guests that being pets- but the smell stays and I don’t find it very clean. Just like there is non smoking and smoking rooms, there should be pets and non pets. Other than that it was great!

Our experience started poorly when we stepped off the elevator and were hit with an overwhelming smell of marijuana smoke. The odor was so strong in our assigned room that we had to immediately return to the lobby and demand a room switch.
​While the staff moved us, the second room was hardly an upgrade. The furniture was incredibly old and outdated, looking like it hadn't been changed in years. The maintenance was clearly neglected as well; the laminate flooring was peeling up right near the bathroom entrance, which was a tripping hazard. To make matters worse, when we pulled back the covers, we found a visible stain on the bedsheets.
​Between the lack of cleanliness and the dilapidated state of the rooms, I cannot rate our experince past poor.

I normally don’t leave low reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. There was no cold water at all in the room. The faucet and the shower only put out scalding hot water, making it impossible to wash hands, shower, or even brush my teeth safely. I reported it, but nothing was fixed during my stay.

A hotel should at the very least provide safe, usable water, and this one failed at the most basic level. I would not stay here again until this issue is addressed.

Room was ok! Bathroom was not clean. Urine on back of toilet. Shower was so powerful that it hurt your skin. It spray all over the floor ( curtains was closed) shower is too high up for normal people. Floor around tub needs repairs due to shower leaking. Staff was great & breakfast was good.

Good for a place to stay. Staff are great and helpful, pool is small with no spa, and provides outside privacy with (full) interior exposure.

Overall for the price range and expectations it was a great stay. The hotel breakfast was one of the best I've had for a buffet. The staff was wonderful. My biggest concern is how hot the water gets and very quickly. I almost scalded myself. Please turn down your water heater settings. An elderly person or child could easily get burned.

The staff were on top of things. Our battery went out on our a/c thermostat and within 15 minutes they had come and replaced. The next day the maid knocked to see if we wanted her to clean our room, but I told her no and asked for an extra blanket. She called another maid and she delivered one in 5 minutes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not bad for Tyler, best place in the area to stay

Hotel has a great restaurant and bar area as well as they had sat night Karaoke which was lots of fun. Room did not have USB-c chargers which is kinda the norm now. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. There was a fire drill at 3:36am which was not expected or appreciated but guess some guest smoked in their room.

The staff was excellent! They were all so kind and you can tell they all get along well and enjoy working with one another, it was nice to see. Seemed like they all enjoy their jobs, big props to Holiday Inn, Staff and Managers at this location.

The bed was so comfy, we slept so good!
Pool was clean, room was clean, front was desk clean and the dining area was clean.

Breakfast was good and dinner was delicious!

I am confused on the breakfast with a fee pass, cause it was a free buffet in the morning. But it was good so its whatever, I just hope that money we spent went to the staff.

The only problem we had was entering the property, but that's Google maps fault. It tried to take us through the back way and it was block off. There are 2 side entrances only. just a heads up for anyone going.
Other than that we really enjoyed our stay!!

The front desk employee was so sweet and accommodating. I really wish I would have got her name. For some odd my reason my card did not process and she knew I was there for a death of a family member. She said your card did not process but we did not want to bother you with your reasoning for being here. I paid my bill in the morning with no issues. She was so unbelievably kind.

Poor service at the restaurant

We are building a house in the area and visit this hotel often starting a year and a half ago. The hotel front desk is wonderful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant service is very poor every time. No acknowledgement of entering the restaurant. Most recent visit waiting almost 15 minutes for server to ask our drink order. Another 20 minutes before able to order food. Servers are on their phones, watching the tv's in the room and not paying attention to the guests. Bartender cursing loudly. Not very relaxing. However, I must say the food is always delicious. Because of the service, we have decided to go elsewhere for our food which can be inconvenient after working along hard day.

The whole facility seem old. Walking down the halls was not air-conditioned very well. There was a moldy smell. The grossest thing was there was a pubic hair in the Keurig machine water containerin our room. So we didn’t bother to have coffee. I was surprised that there was no buffet breakfast. I don’t even know if they had a restaurant. Maybe they did but we just decided to leave and go out for breakfast. The hair clean beds and the air conditioning was cold, but that pubic hair kinda did us in.

And access to the hotel was difficult. It would have been helpful if the access on the west side wasn't blocked off since the front access is pretty narrow with a difficult to find entrance.

The cold water faucet in the sink worked only intermittently and poorly, the bathroom was very dated, and the parking lot is small where it needs to be big, resulting in long hikes to the entrance.

The left side of one of the mattress was so uncomfortable. No support at all.

I reserved online and once I arrived, I wasn't allowed to check in because I wasn't 21. I was hours from home and wasn't able to get into a room so I had to stay in a parking lot. It didn't state that when I reserved I had to be 21 or older. It just said "must have ID" .Great times were had...
