HORRIBLE… Employees & “I guess their friends it looked like” were smoking weed on the elevator and thought it was funny. They/it reeked of weed… The floor they put us on smelled like it as well but not near as bad. The janitor guy was rude and unprofessional and was slinging stuff around and when I asked where the bathroom was he rolled his eyes and pointed… Very unprofessional, I can’t believe they let this go on in a hotel in Tyler. My husband and I had our children with us… I will never stay here again…. Not to mention it seemed like they were only at the front office area when they wanted to be. I’m not the one that usually writes reviews like this but this is absolutely ridiculous. I wanted my money back but they told me I had to go through where I booked it at. DO NOT STAY HERE….

Microwave makes noise when the door to it is closed. Good atmosphere. Had concern with Entrance door to room 208 wher it seems to be chipped along side where it's locks

Front desk closes at 10pm. I was driving in from out of town in the middle of the night, I called ahead and mentioned that I would be getting in late. I was told that someone would be available to check us in. Once we got in, the front desk was closed and no one was around. Called multiple times and all calls went straight to voicemail. We didn’t get to stay in the room that we paid for so unfortunately had to pay for another room elsewhere. Very unfortunate.

The only thing that was good, was the front desk did answer after hours and was able to get me checked in.
The room we stayed in was terrible. The door frame to the room was damaged as if the room had been kicked open. I felt very unsafe. The hotel manager came banging on my door and when asked what he needed, he said he wanted to talk but not through the door. Once I opened the door, he said Nevermind we handled it, not knowing what he wanted. I then told him I felt unsafe with the door and the room, and he said “ well it still latches, and everything is new.”
That was a lie. The floor was dirty, the tv remote had one battery and was barely hanging on the stand. There were no towels, no trash can and no blankets. There were only sheets. The toilet was clogged and the plunger I had was trash. My non smoking room reaked of cigarette smoke. One staff member did help me with the toilet by bringing his own personal plunger. The crowd in and outside the hotel were sketchy. Loitering was absolutely terrible. People live here and you can tell it’s low income housing and not an actual place to stay.
The price was cheap but do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Friendly staff but facility’s outdated needs upgraded with a pool an exercise equipment a breakfast. As well as free WiFi I have never been to a motel where you take out your own trash a pay for your WiFi!!! Other than that it’s a good place.

switched rooms literally three times, first time was because the room wasn’t cleaned, the second time was because there was roaches crawling out from behind the bed, third time was an actual mix of both. ended up leaving the hotel all together and took the L from the no refund policy. HOWEVER, Kyra (i THINK that’s his name) was super helpful and kind the whole time. i just think they should hire more cleaning staff & it’d be great honestly

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. Looked like a trap hotel. When we got into the room there was BLOOD STAINS ON THE FLOOR and had an ACTIVE electrical plug laying out. I did Not feel comfortable staying there with my children and we immediately left. The manager said he would approve a refund and TWO WEEKS LATER i STILL have not received it. I would NOT recommend this location to ANYONE!!!! Absolutely disgusting.

DO NOT GO HERE!! When I arrived I was given a room on the 4th floor. As I walked away and asked for the elevator and it wasn’t not working. I was then given a room on the 2nd floor. When I got to that room the AC was not working and the room dirty smelled mold. I walked out and asked for a refund and then was told I had to call the manager on Monday to ask for one.

We went and checked in. First of all we had to walk up stairs bc the elevator was broken. 2nd the room that was given was nasty. Two beds no linens. Nasty. Bugs. Wasn’t cleaned at all. Went back down stairs. Gave us another room. Someone was in that one. Asked for our money back but couldn’t happen. This hotel gave me crack head vibes. Just plain nasty. The guy at front desk was nice but should have known which rooms was available and not available. I WILL LEAVE A BAD REVIEW which I never do but there’s no way I would stay here. JUST DON’T. Trash. When I first arrived the outside part of the a/c was coming off when i came inside I was told that the phones are not working that there doing reservations in the building I booked my room online on expedia and I was told I couldnt check in until 3pm so that made me upset then when I finally made it there my room was on the 3rd floor the elevator was out of order my room was dirty walls was nasty dead roaches on the floor and ontop of my refrigerator I was told they only had one house keeper but clearly they must of missed cleaning my room I had 2 queen size beds the bed frame was cheap the bathroom was nasty so i decided to leave Because of the nastiest and I was trying yo use my key on the 1st floor to go around to make a complaint and the key didnt even work I had to use the side door of the building to exit then walk around to the front again this was the worst room Ivd ever seen

I was disappointed, the room had a smell, the elevator was broken and anyone in need of an elevator was forced to climb stairs. It seems to be a \"home\" for a lot of people. The carpet in my room was filthy, there was a sheet of green paper over a hole someone punched in the bathroom door. I stayed, but should have said \"I have to have an elevator\"! WoodSpring, NO hotel building with that many rooms should have only ONE elevator!

Sheets were stained, fridge rusted out, microwave door rusted out burners on cook top bent up etc. We paid for the room and did not stay once we saw it. This stay was was of the worst that I have in a while. It started out with us being hit with an awful odor when we walked into the hotel that we had to go buy an air fresher and cleaning supplies to get the odor out thank god the window opened so none of us passed out. The room was not cleaned the floor was slippery not from cleaning that’s for sure and we had my 77 year old mother with us and she could have fallen. We had to go buy stuff to clean the floor because when we walked without shoes or socks (which did not happen after the first time because of how disgusting it was) our feet were BLACK! The bed was not a bed it was a cot on a frame. So after driving 15 hours and staying in the car until check in at 3 we did not get a nice rest and all our bodies hurt. There were holes in the wall. The walls were dirty looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months! There was in electrical outlet that was just on the wall with no screw so my daughters three year old knocked it off and could have been electrocuted thank god we were watching him and got him away fast enough. If you are looking for a nice place to stay do not go here. We stayed because we were there for a funeral and couldn’t afford to lose our money and go somewhere else but if we could we would not have stayed the whole 6 days we were there. The shower had mold growing at least the water pressure was good probably the only good thing about the hotel. The staff was nice but it does not make up for the mess we were in

My daughter had to stay with friends thank goodness she and her children were offered a invitation after this disaster. The price is decent. Then you realize you get what you pay for. There were live roaches onthe bed and in the bathroom on the floor. Houskeeping is basically non existent, the hallway and elevator floors are filthy. For the entire weekend we was there the same trash was on the floor so it isnt been cleaned regularly at all. The manager was very rude on my first stay my second stay floors in room were dirty not swept or mopped. There was no heat and we were in winter storm manager suggested I go to Walmart and buy a space heater toilet and sink ran constantly tub was stopped up and smell of the room was horrible. Upon speaking to front desk about several issues I was told they would come to room and check out issues but never came also said they would speak to manager about issues. After 6 nights and no resolve I went to ask for business card or corporate number manager refused to give to me and accused me of being rude since I had checked in says there were notes on me and accused me of wanting a free room this made me livid so no I was very nice she asked me if I wanted to be put out I told her I had no problem leaving if she wanted to refund me for the rest of my stay since it was yet 11 am she said she wasn’t giving me anything and if I wanted to speak to corporate I could Google and figure it out on my own. She ended up calling police on me and police informed me that hotel was not in a very good area and they are called out pretty often. Recommended I find a place in a better area because it was no place for kids. Several tenants there expressed issues with manager but because it’s more long term for them they didn’t want to speak up. She even cursed at customer who was in lobby thinking she were me. Manager unprofessional and very nonchalant when addressing issues with room.

I am going to say that if you are just looking for a hotel for long term, that doesn't have many constraints, this might be a decent enough choice for you. I paid nearly double the amount of a motel 6, because of the rating here. Poor choice. This was a disaster from the start. THEY ALLOW SMOKING IN THE ROOMS. Any type of smoking it seemed. Our room smelled like someone was smoking a joint, in the room most of the night. Plus stale cigarette smell. But the ventilation system allowed the smells of the neighbors to permeate thru all night long. I expect a certain professionalism at hotels. I do understand that the vast majority of people who seemed to be at this hotel were long term guests who 'lived' at the hotel. The desk personnel was friendly and overall great, but I just expect clean, well dressed, prompt personnel. This is a much more relaxed environment than I would prefer. Deff would suggest proper hygiene and at the minimum a casual dress code. The smell was a bit much for me. The room - Rust throughout the room. The fridge had rust all over the front. Not just like one or two spots of rust, but there were large rust scratches that were in several areas. Caibinets damaged. Door to restroom huge 12inch damaged dent. The tv is a 40inch ten year old tv. Just a very run down room. If you are living here and living cheap, maybe it would be ok. But this is not a hundred dollar a night room at all!

I got a room here early in the month of May 2022. I reserved for 2 nights and didn't stay the full 2 nights due to the issues in the room. I stayed the 1st night and left immediately the following morning due to Roaches being in the room, the microwave didn't work, the remote didn't work, the lights turned on when sometimes, the freezer was dismantled as if they had been working on it and didn't put it back together, walking on the carpet had myself and guest with black feet due to it being dirty! The manager Rachel at this hotel refused to give my money back even though they had all these problems. I also took pictures of the Roaches and other issues. This manager has not been very corporative in this matter. They advertise as being a clean room and you get there and you have these problems! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GETTING A ROOM HERE! EVER!! I booked through Travelocity and they didnt even help with the refund. Travelocity was notified about the Roaches and other problems and no one has refunded my money back yet. I wouldn't Recommend this room or booking through Travelocity. I also have pictures of the roaches and other issues. The room was advertised to be clean and so on it was Not!

I booked before midnight, made it to the hotel and they would not let me check in saying 12midnight is the latest they check in which when i booked on this app it states 1am. Got charged for the night, and had to go find another hotel to stay at for the night. Which there was nobody at the front desk. Had to call the night manager on the phone which after 3mins of ringing she answered and she sounded like she was up in the room sleep herself. All around unprofessional 👎

Thank goodness it was a short stay

The staff was accommodating even though we arrived in the middle of the night. Irritating that we never received a working room key. One of us had to stay in the room at all times. Staff tried to reprogram keys once then said something about a battery in the lock but we never heard anything else. Took keys with her so didn’t have a key period. Bed was platform style very uncomfortable. Mattress too thin for style with very small thin pillows.

We arrived at 1AM due to flight delays and walked into see a closed reception desk with a sign saying to use the wall phone if you need guest services. I had to call 3 times and was just about to give up when someone finally answered the phone.
I said I need to check in and they sounded like they didn’t believe me but would be at the desk shortly. The employee who appeared seemed to have been woken from sleeping, she was in sweats and a shower cap. I pulled up my prepaid online reservation for her and she checked us in but said that I reserved 2 queen beds and they do not offer that. They only have ‘double’ or full sized beds. I was quite upset because I originally booked double beds and then canceled and rebooked queen beds so I know that I paid extra for this and didn’t receive it.
Once we got into our room it was entirely disappointing. Nothing at all like the pictures. The card keys didn’t always worked so you had to try multiple times. The beds were horrid, metal skinny games with a thin mattress on top. The shower couldn’t come on alone in the bathroom, water would run out of the bath faucet at the same time. The carpet was disgusting and we wore shoes the whole time because our feet would blacken from the dirt.
We had a weeks stay without housekeeping. We had to bring soiled linens down to reception and exchange for clean ones if we wanted them, we had to take our own trash to the DUMPSTER. We will not be back.

Attitude of staff was very poor. Room had damaged blinds. The only option after two hours was they brought me a sheet and push pins to place over windows. Shower filled tub four inches without draining while showering. Caked dust was on wall rack where clothes were to be hung. One elevator only which took minimum of 5-10 minutes frequently. Room card entry was required to access the the entry to the complex and failed to allow entry regularly. Very minimal hours of onsite property management or assistance. Access to personnel by phone was inadequate. Dogs were not on leash. Single mattress on a high steel spring frame and center was off balance. A very unpleasant stay.

The facility was dirty with construction papers taped to the floors in the hallways. The room smelled like dog pee, really bad! I did not stay there, found a room close by in a really nice hotel.

The bad experience starts with the employees

Let's say that after being on the road for 20 hours, arriving here and going through the experience I did just trying to check in, I would tell everyone to run from this place. Not only did they not know how to do the job, 15 minutes into checking in, I asked if we could finish this. At a point a mgr-ish person got involved and they tried to shake me down for more money, then refused to let me check in. Leaving me exhausted with nowhere to go, I was beyond disappointed. They promised a refund of my reservation, but kept 93$ of it for turning me away. 246$ vs 153$. So, no don't stay there.
