The room was so gross we didn’t even stay the second night we paid for. The chair in the room was stained so bad I didn’t even want to set my luggage on it. There were hairs in the shower from previous guests and the walls/carpet were just plain dirty. For example toothpaste smeared on wall above sink & dirt smudges on the door/light switches. Outside our window was a Walmart shopping cart and the pool was also green. Lady who checked me in didn’t even ask for my ID. Walked down to office the morning after we stayed the first night and lobby was locked so only night window was accessible. But still no one to help us. Leaving review to help another family from experiencing what we did. There are older hotels/motels that are still clean regardless of their age. This place is dirty and unsafe. Save your money!

Live savers!

I moved my mom into a room after a storm knocked out power for thousands of people. She is on oxygen and uses a cpap. The hotel was packed! But the super nice man there helped us get parked and took good care of us. They were so kind and put mom in a room on the 1st floor since she can't do stairs. This is a no frills place than was perfect for our needs! I am so pleased.

Two issues made a nice room 2-star

The room itself was okay for the most part. The two big issues I had were the following...
1. There was beard trimming or something of the sort on the shower wall, indicating it had not been cleaned from the previous tenant and the shower was nearing ankle deep water by the end of my shower.
2.The charging outlet was on the opposite side of the room, meaning I had to get up everytime someone contacted me for work while I was waiting for my phone to charge.

Aside from that, the bed was nice, the ac worked well, and the shower ran warm. Unfortunately those were 2 glaring issues that really affected my stay

It was so old and dirty. Cigarette burn holes everywhere in the non smoking rooms. And they have the nerves to charge a $100 deposit for damages when the room is already damaged! How would they be able to tell damages if the condition of the room is already so old! They definitely need to close down and renovate.

Add was not correct. Add stated pool ,it does not open till Easter. No breakfast as advertised . Then Wi-Fi went out. $85$ a lot of money for no extras. Wi-Fi was out in the whole town.

The address given was about 1/2 mi away on a dead end. I called the hotel to get instructions. When I got to where they were supposed to be there was no sign for the Apple Tree Inn. Instead I stopped at the Budget Inn and they said they just didn't have their new sign yet. I asked when the hours for the free advertised breakfast was and was told they didn't do that anymore even though I could see cereal dispensers nearby. The room was relatively clean except for all the dead bugs in the overhead light fixture. The bathroom sink took about 25 min to drain. There were no plug ins on the side of the room with the bed so we had to ask for extension cords to plug in our CPAPs. Also found out that if I'd called the hotel directly to make the reservation instead of doing it online I could have saved about $25.

The Hotel was an absolute disaster. There was no sign anywhere. They said that I was stolen. At that point I was questioning the safety of myself and my family. There were people living in a few of the hotel rooms. There were water stains on the ceiling and other stains on the floors. The parking lot was an absolute disaster as well. The air conditioning was not working well and the cleaning solution was so intense that I was barely able to stand it.

This property is clean and they clean every day the staff is friendly and very helpful. It is also a quiet place. It is a little hard to get to and the area around it is not very inviting but if you need a clean room for a decent price I would consider it.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. There were several dead bugs in the bathroom, hair in the shower. There was some sort of a sticky substance on the carpet in front of the refrigerator that we had to cover with a towel. Just was not a good stay but it was too late for us to look elsewhere.

The rooms are decorated from the '80s. I requested a non-smoking room and was placed next to a smoker. I was afraid to sleep on the bed but since my stay was just to sleep and shower for one day I had no choice. The price I paid for this room I could have had a better room somewhere else.

So check in was very slow and all done through the night window and basically yelling back and forth. Definitely a outdated hotel. They did come and bring fresh linens on our second day. We were in a no smoking room which still smelled like smoke and the sheets had cigarette burns. If we ever go back to Swan MX park I'll probably look at other facilities in the area.

I felt ripped off

Are use the Hotels.com app and wanted to rebook the room that I was in for an additional night but was told no room was available. The rooms that I did make available to me were in the next town over in Lindale and were one and two star rated hotel for the same over $100 a night price.

Once I book the room and travel to the hotel I passed a large number of hotels that looked a quarter full. It made me get back on and use just my browser and not the app and it told me rooms were available in the hotel I was trying to stay for an additional night. Many hotels were available in Tyler where I wanted to stay. I don’t believe I’m going to use the Hotels.com app again and may start booking my own rooms through the hotel with Windham.

Not exactly what I was hoping for. The room was clean, but hot. Has a window unit and it took it a few hours to cool down. Also, the shower had a broken handle for the cold water... it just kept spinning.

I would only stay here again if there were no other options available.

The front desk lady was very polite at check in.

I was very disappointed by the hotel. I was in town for a week. My room was very dingy and it smelled like urine. The carpet was extremely disgusting. An after taking a shower and walking around the room barefoot left my feet black. Would definitely not ever stay at this hotel again.

Lady at check in was wonderful... checked into room and it was HOT - we are talking about the middle of summer in Texas and it was cooler outside. So turned AC on and made a point to leave to get some food and pick up things for breakfast since I didn't anticipate the free breakfast would be much - I was right - 2 types of cereal, pkgd danish/muffins, a toaster and coffee (of which I don't drink) and no water (had cover over bottled water machine). Crickets in bathroom, they probably died from the heat in the room.. otherwise, as expected for the type of hotel and area.

The room was awful. Security latch broken off, towel rack broken off, stained dirty carpet, bathroom floor dirty, Wi-Fi wasn’t working. The staff got it working for me after 5 minutes of trying, but then it stopped working in my room I couldn’t reconnect. Had there not been a terrible storm raging outside I would have left immediately and demanded a refund. Stay somewhere else.

I will not be doing business with this location again after this past experience. Upon arrival I had to deal with a very rude Front Desk Lady who couldn’t find my reservation. When they finally find it, I’m told there aren’t any double beds, so instead of cancelling, being charged for the stay anyway & being homeless for the weekend I accept the King that I have to share with my Friend. The room had a bad stinch but I made it work. Once I return home, I see a charge on my bank account from the peoperty that wasn’t the initial price that was advertised through Expedia. All of this is totally unacceptable, I am done with Americas Best Lindale and will definitely be writing a letter to Corporate about this matter.

Not bad if you're looking for cheap

This was my second time staying here while in town for a horse show. The beds aren't bad, and the room is overall pretty clean. Definitely not fancy by any stretch of the word, but you get what you pay for. The \"continental breakfast\" is pretty crappy though. Some basic cereals and some sketchy looking muffins. Luckily I don't really eat breakfast when at a horse show. If I did want breakfast, the Starbucks is within walking distance and looks significantly more appetizing. Overall, cheap is cheap, but it's at least not trashy.

The room was very clean, mattresses looked new, no sign whatsoever of bed bugs, and the AC was nice and cold. The property is a bit outdated, but I didn't care. Not like I was moving in...

The doors open to the outside and the rooms show sign of age in paint and in the bathroom fixtures. The rooms were very clean and the a/c was cold. The staff was very nice. The swimming pool was simple but looked fairly new and was in great shape. My husband and I enjoyed a swim in it all alone at about 9:30 on Friday morning. The ice machine is located outside the front office. We didn't eat breakfast at hotel although it was free since we had other plans. It's a continental breakfast with waffles. It's a simple hotel with no frills but comfortable and clean.

Well the room was ok but I dead roaches in the drawers. My toilet would flush correctly and my TV was broken. They did fix the TV so that was cool. I asked for a late check out but they didn't enter it so I was awaken earlier than anticipated. But the room was dirty per se. I also didn't feel comfortable with the male housekeeper standing to the side when they came to my door.

Last minute choice on road tired

Staff was EXTREMELY friendly both late at night check in and check out next morning. Very helpful about parking a uhaul and room was VERY clean! Best of all, bed was the most comfortable I have slept in, in quite a while. The motel is RIGHT OFF interstate, and may not look like much from the outside, but was comfy, quiet and SAFE/SECURE. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. Kudos, staff!

Bit of a pain to get to. It’s in a two way service road that serves as the off ramp for east bound I-20. Exterior needs some work. It looks like a dump honestly but I was really surprised by the room. Big, clean comfortable. Comfortable king size bed. Had a small patio. If I travel through Lindale and I need a room at a really reasonable rate, I would definitely stay there again.

The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The bed and pillows were fairly comfortable. The motel was a bit difficult to get to as it is easy to miss the turn because it looks as though you are turning onto an exit ramp from the interstate. We only needed a place to stay for the night while traveling and this place worked fine for that.
Feeling safe is important to me when traveling alone with my child and the location of this motel was borderline for that as it backed up the the woods and felt a bit isolated. I did hear a car alarm go off in the lot and there were some guys using a bbq grill and drinking a ton of beer in a room around the corner from us which caused some concern. But I did not get the impression that this is the kind of motel where you have to worry about drug deals or the like, so overall it seemed safe.
If you want breakfast in the morning, this is not the place for you as it was some waxy apples and some hard looking muffins, but there is a Starbucks very nearby. Overall a decent place to spend the night when traveling and you want something that is right off the interstate.

The day man clerk was a rushing stinker he called at 11:05 rushing us from the room but other than him it was a perfect place to stay overnight.
