The room was extremely hot, and the temperature isn’t adjustable. The digital panel shows it’s sitting at 36degree Celsius, literally a hot summer day.

The window opens slightly to get some cool air in. But the window is right above the headboard of the bed. So you can’t keep it open at night and sleep with the cold air blowing at your face. It’s been a pain.

Most of the people are probably keeping the window open when they are there. The opening of the window grew a lot of black mold, which is disgusting. Imagine all the cold air going through the window into the room has to pass through the mold first.

Requested a room change, they wouldn’t do. They said they would check the second day but nothing happened.

The lobby looks nice and smells good which kept my hopes high. It was cheap, relatively.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

This hotel is near a major train station. If you are traveling from the airport you can take 6002 airport limousine and the walk is about 1 minute away. Hotel had basic features. It has a tub, but no shower curtain. be prepared to have your bathroom completely wet after showering. The room did not have a microwave, but does have heating pot for water.

32°C summer, lobby was air-conditioned but the room was not. (The info booklet in the room said the aircon was hooked up to the building's central air, so we weren't allowed to control it). Couldn't imagine trying to sleep there.

I had intended to stay at this hotel before moving somewhere else long-term, but ended up going to the other place immediately to sleep and using this hotel room as just a luggage staging area.

Staff were pleasant and helpful.
The room was a decent size, everything was in good working order and condition, the bed was very comfortable.
It was surprising that a basic amenity kit wasn't provided in the room - it was available from a vending machine for 1500 kwn.
The nightly rate was a bit high for the area, but I wanted to be right by the metro station, and the hotel was literally just a crosswalk away.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I had such a bad experience that I feel compelled to share. They only gave me one key, and when I requested an additional one, they asked for a deposit. I had confirmed before booking that I could use 110v electronic devices, but when I arrived, they couldn't even distinguish between a transformer and a power outlet, and kept insisting on the deposit. When I asked if someone could help me with my heavy luggage, they sighed and initially refused, though someone else eventually helped. Despite the information stating that the ramen machine in the basement could be used until 9 p.m. on weekdays, they annoyingly told me it was closed at 8:30 p.m. and repeatedly refused service. My child wanted to try the ramen machine because of their experience with it in Korea, and it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. However, they ruined our trip to Korea and every time we returned to the hotel, we regretted choosing it. We never want to stay at this hotel again, so we decided to stay at a different hotel for the rest of our trip.

Don't go

Outdated and dirty. Front desk feels like some cheap motel. I do not recommend anyone staying here. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of options in the area, so drive of take additional stations down for better stay.

Hotel outside appearance is deceiving. Very small room with dated cheap furniture sparse around the room. Plastic chairs and table that belong in the trash. Two hangers against the wall, and that is it; not to mention hard to control the air,. Mostly cold. Could go more. Still gave 3 out of 5 for the convenience of location.

I would stay here again.

The room layout is fairly nice and all the standard amenities are there. The bed is firm but comfortable. Netflix on TV unit was a lot more convenient than I thought it would be as the TV moved fast enough through the selections unlike some of the other hotels.
The area is fairly busy, but conveniently located next to the bus station and the train/subway station for easy access. Plenty of restaurants around and there is a department store right by it. The lobby area is small, but well laid out. The staff can see you when you enter to greet.

I stayed in a suite room which i got for a great price, so i was going in satisfied. This was my second time staying here. The first time was in August when I came to Seoul to say goodbye to a friend, and I believe i stayed in a double bed room at the time.
Beds were great, ability to control the temperature, amenities, all there. Both rooms had great price and size. Suite room was fantastic. My only real problem was that the sinks I had were sort old, dirty and drained slow. Otherwise it was a great experience.

I had to go see my friend for her birthday and leaving Korea during the midst of thr COVID-19 outbreak.
The hotel is conveniently located next to Cheongnyangri Station, with a cafe underneath and a convenient store near by. The hotel provides all necessary amenities and the rooms are quite nice. I liked that they provide two pillows per person instead of just one. More comfoetable that way. The only minor issue is that at night, my room was a bit too warm when i was in bed, even with the AC on. I could tell because my moisturizer got liquidy instead of drying. Other than that. No complaints.

Location is awesome where is close to the big shopping centre and one of the main train, subway and bus hubs in seoul. But the bathroom is not easy to use because there is no shower curtain which makes all wet on floor.

The good and the bad

There are good things and not-so-good things about this hotel. My room was comfortable, well-equipped and reasonably large, but the staff was slow to make the room up (5:00 p.m. on some days). The breakfast room was too small to accommodate the volume of guests and the hours were erratic. But the place was clean, modern, and very convenient (right next to a department store and a subway stop).

The hotel is well designed. Room is minimalist but it comfort. Free juice and free local drink called sikhye in the fridge. But bath towel only have 1 , you can ask more. but they provide lots of hand towel.

Toiletries are complete. Lots of shops around. Big supermarket / mall is 2 minute walking. It include breakfast. simple breakfast like ramyeon, fried rice, bread , juice, cereal and coffee. Taste is normal but the coffee is really bad.

Hotel with interesting decor

Pros - This hotel is good value for money and conveniently located minutes from Cheongyangni train station. The airport bus (6002) drop-off point is right in front of Station and once getting off the bus, the hotel is visible. Hotel staff reasonably efficient and friendly. Every room has a different decor
Cons- The hotel is not very centrally located but because of its proximity to the station, this not a big issue.
However, as we were there in winter season we found the internal heating to be too warm and the room temperature was non-adjustable. Opening the window (which only opened slightly) slightly cooled the room.

Great Location, Nice Hotel.

The hotel location was perfect as the Airport Shuttle Bus No. 6002 stops very near the hotel. It was also right next to Cheongnyangni Station where you can take the Seoul Metro virtually anywhere in the city.

There were lots of food stalls near the station where we were able to try local street food, a few restaurants for authentic Korean food (but without English menus so you'd have to be able to point at pictures or to what other diners are ordering). Of course, there was also a McDonalds nearby as well as Lotteria (a local version of McDonalds). There were also a few coffee shops and chicken and beer places nearby.

The rooms were comfortable, even if a little small. We asked for 2 non-smoking rooms next to each other which they were able to provide. There was free wifi which is kinda standard nowadays. The rooms were clean and the beds were perfect. They provided water, coffee and juice everyday. We also had free breakfast everyday which was much appreciated, even if the food was just basically rice, noodles, porridge, sausage, soup, salad and cereals everyday.

The only negative was that the shower didn't have curtains so the floor might get a little wet, and there was no place to hang towels or clothes which makes things a little complicated. The toilet was great though as the seat was heated and the bidet worked perfectly.

Overall, great location and nice hotel at a budget-friendly price. What more can you ask for?

Nice morden hotel, breakfast included, stayed 2 times with friends, closed to the subway station, big Lotte shopping mall near the hotel. Take airport limousine #6002 stop in front of Cheongnyangni Station. Snacks around all the subway exit areas. I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

Hotel was very modern and well decorated. Bed was very firm and pillows made of a slippery material so covers came off. Not enough power points and bedside lamp should be an angle one as it was difficult to read with one with a shade and it had to be raised up to be able to do this. Only 1 large towel provided for 2 people but when asked another was given. Unfortunately with the flooring, chairs scraped along the floor at night as people weren't considerate and we were woken up in the night by people walking about in shoes or plastic slippers provided.Staff very helpful but have limited English. Not enough hangers and no drawers for clothes if you're staying for a few days. Breakfast was OK but choice of times was 7am - 8am or 8am - 8.30 am and it was difficult to get the lift to breakfast cafe as lift tended to go up to the top floors first so being on floor 7 meant one morning we went down the stairs.Only 1 toaster for 2 slices at breakfast which is not enough. Metro station about 6 stops from Seoul Station and not easy with suitcases if coming by train as many steps. Easier to come by bus from the airport as it stops outside but we didn't know this!

The first problem is the lack of English ability by staff. Lots of pointing, gesturing and trying to explain needed, often getting blank stares in return.
Aircon did not function properly- a problem in summer. Very uncomfortable. The staff became frustrated with my attempts to explain the problem as they could not really understand. All the controls are marked in Korean not English which compounds the problem.
Breakfast- horrible! Asian food (basic) provided and only Corn Flakes and white bread for European breakfast. Nothing else!

We showed up at 5pm for our booking but our room still wasn't ready.
Breakfast is provided and the staff are helpful - but the food isn't exactly the best in town. You won't want to eat it for two mornings in a row.
Not exactly impressed by the hotel but it was a pretty good deal, the beds are comfortable and it's location makes travelling around the city easy to navigate.

Convenient location but need to improve on service

1. A slight turn of the tap bring boiling hot or icy cold water, wasted lots of time and water. Bathtub is super-big but more suited for people who are >1.9m tall.
2.We have 3 separate bookings and checked-in 2 times during our stay in Korea. Stayed in total 6 nights. We told the front desk staff about our bookings but they only listened and do not make it a point to note what we are saying. We had one staff calling us to check-out one day so it proved that they don't pay enough attention to their guests.
3.During our 2nd check-in, I was uncomfortable with the room assigned as it was too cramped and I could immediately feel the pressure on my head when I entered the room plus it does not have enough electrical socket in the room (apparently 1 less than the other room we stayed in.) I asked for room change just after viewing the room but the experience with the staff was not exactly pleasant.
4.We book for a twin room stating 2 pax but housekeeping only gave us 1 bath towel daily. We have to call every night to ask for another.
5.Hotel does not have a map of the area and could not provide a decent map for foreigners.
6.Can't control air-con in the room as it switches off multiple times during the night. I woke up sweating profusely quite a number of times.

You can take limousine bus routes 6002 (Incheon Airport ↔ Cheongnyangni Station) to the hotel. The bus stop \"Cheongnyangni Station\" is near to the hotel, it's very convenient from Incheon Airport to the hotel. But, the house keeping must be improved. And the heater is too hot, you cannot turn off the heater or slower the room temperature. You have to open the window or turn on the air-conditioner in the winter.

As a new facility, everything is pretty clean and pleasant at an affordable rate. It is pretty close to a subway station (청량리역), which adds a great convenience to travelers. If I need to travel to this area again, I'd choose this hotel again!

It's close to the station, there are convenience stores and local food restaurants nearby, the hotel staff are friendly, and the cost performance is excellent. I would like to stay here again. The only downside is that there were a lot of fruit flies in the room, which disturbed my sleep. No matter how much I tried to get rid of them, there were still a lot of them.

幾分不満

浴室のシャワーにカーテンがついておらず、シャワーを利用すると浴室全体が水浸しになる。
大きな道路に面しており、夜でも騒音がひどい。
衣服のロッカーは非常に高く作られており、衣服をかけるのに一苦労する。
スタッフは親切でした、朝5時前のチャックアウト、そしてタクシーの手配も喜んで引き受けてくれました。

I stayed at the Hotel \"The Designers\" for two nights, after my quarantine, when it was too early to check in to my university dormitory.

The building itself looks prestigious and rooms too with everything being white, the reception staff was quick to check in me, they do charge extra fee ( small amount) for early check in.
So even though the front desk staff did speak little English we was able to communicate through “Google translator” there were no problems, staff tried their best to explain things and were extremely polite and helpful.

But I have nothing positive to say about the cleaning standards and cleaning staff, the toilet stank and was literally yellow inside it had not been cleaned before my check in, the toilet bench full of dust and dried soap. When I met a cleaner in the hall and pointed this out, he pretended not to understand me and gave a look like he wants to kill me and said that I should turn to the reception. They do not take their job seriously in the hall I constantly heard them laughing out loud and talking loudly in Russian with each other, like they are being in the market.
5 hours during the day of their working hours they sit and eat in the dining room. On the second day no one came and did cleaning in my room. So sadly that your housekeeping ruins your reputation, so make an investment in your cleaning staff, because these people have no job ethics, they are not professional.

고3아이와 시험을 보기 위해 묵었습니다. 아주 늦은시간에
도착해서 아침일찍 나오는 일정이라 잠깐 지내기는
괜찮았어요. 주차는 발렛으로 했기때문에 편리했고요.
호텔들어가는 입구가 좁아 밤에 찾기 조금 어려웠어요.
욕실세면대가 사용하기 조금 불편했지만 전반적으로
가격대비 괜찮았습니다.

2층으로 방음이 약해 외부의 차량소음이 꽤 심함
방 내부 페인트나 시설 마감재의 냄새도 있음
욕실의 크기에 비해 방이 무척 협소함

지린내나는 욕실

음… 사진으로는 괜찮아보였는데… 실제 가보니 운영상태가 그닥 좋지 않았어요. 욕실에서는 지린내가 나고 세면대, 욕조 뒤와 틈새에 곰팡이가 있고, 세면도구가 담겨있는 박스는 일부 파손되어 있었어요. 제공되는 충전기는 먹통에 냉장고도 시원하지 않고, 벽지에 얼룩에… 3성급 호텔인데 너무 하단 생각이 듭니다. 욕실 지린내는 프론트에 말해서 다시 청소하긴 했는데, 청소직후만 좀 괜찮은 듯했고 시간이 지난 후에 다시 지린내가 진동해서 욕실을 들어갈 수 없는 걸 보면, 벽 어딘가 혹은 변기쪽 배수에 문제가 아닐까 싶은데요. 청소했다고 그냥 두는게 아니라 매니저 분이 직접 꼼꼼이 확인하던가 하셔야 할 것 같아요. 많이 실망이네요

좋습니다

정갈하고 깨끗합니다. 온수가 한방에 팡팡 잘 나와서 샤워할때 기분이 좋았습니다. 단점(?)아닌 단점은 두 가지. 베개가 높고 딱딱함, 문이 엄청 무거움. 이 외에는 다 좋았습니다.

전반적으로 깨끗했어요! 사람들 손이 잘 안닿는곳에 먼지가 좀 있긴했는데 구석의 먼지는 별로 중요한문제는 아닌것같아요.
침구류에서 약간 락스냄새가 나긴했는데 제가 후각이 예민한편이라 느낀것같아요. 불편할정도는 아녔어요.
또 TV가 왕커서 좋았어요.
전체적으로 객실이 쾌적하다는 느낌을 받았고 가성비도 좋습니다. 만족스러웠어요

호텔 앞 정차 후 차키 맡기고 타워 주차했습니다. 직원분들 서비스도 굉장히 좋았습니다만,
방에 들어갔을때 침구나 다른 부분은 청결했으나,
쓰레기를 미처 다 못치우시건지 빈 물병이 바닥에 떨어져있었습니다. 침대옆이라서 기분이 좀 이상하더라구요....

그거 외에는 침구 상태나 침실 온도가 적당해서 편하게 잘 수 있었어요.

출장용 가성비 호텔

서울에 아침 일찍부터 미팅이 잡혀 있어서 1박을 위하여 숙박하였습니다.
룸과 화장실은 깔끔하고 청소가 잘 되어 있었으나 침구가 좀 사용감이 있어
보였습니다. 낡아보이지만 편안하기는 했네요.
그외 직원들은 친절했고 편의점 가까워서 좋았고
전번적으로 괜찮은 가성비 호텔입니다.

숙소는 대체적으로 깔끔하고 직원분들 친절하셨는데 객실 소음 좀 있구요 조식각격이 5천원이라 기대 안했지만 정말 별루였어요 지하철역 가깝고 이동하기는 좋았던것 같아요
