The room was clean and neat, and the bathroom was lovely - big tub and waterfall shower, plus smart toilet. The staff were really nice and helpful for me being a foreigner. The lobby and hotel facilities were very cool! The location was also great, being only a short walk away from the main strip of Hongdae but still very quiet away from the late night noise.

No a/c in November...so had to open window to cool down the room. Water pressure very low. Breakfast was very limited...soup, ham, bread, salad, juice...not buffet style. Room very small and cramped. Far from metro and airport bus station. Not bad location and pretty walkable to shopping and dining. Staff ok but not the most friendly. Lucky we stayed only one night...would not stay again.

First of all this place is very affordable but, the rooms are super tiny. Feels more like a dorm, the bed is very comfortable, there is a small fridge and a nice bathroom and tub.

The facilities are really great, very spacious, working areas, the gymnasium is huge and very well equipped with weights, treadmills, and Pilates equipment. You get a daily breakfast, consisting a soup of the day, salad, bread, and a beverage. There's laundry and shared kitchen available.

The location is prime close to restaurants and bars, and only a 10 minute walk to Hongik University subway station

Rooms are clean and spacious. I read a couple of reviews and saw some were saying that AC doesn’t work. It does! It’s a little complicated with the heated floors option but front desk were super friendly and kind enough to show us how to work the AC system and turn off the heated floors.

Rooms are clean and comes with a pretty decent sized refrigerator/freezer.

The amenities are great! There’s a big gym with plenty of Pilates/work out machines and free weights, plenty of washer and dryers along with a dry cleaning service. I love that they have a common kitchen to cook (about 5 stations) and have a meal. they also provide plates, bowls, utensils, pots/pans. I also do appreciate that they provide water bottles and have water dispensers throughout the place and floors!

The hotel/space is walking distance to a ton of restaurants, bars, and shopping but not in the heart of it.

Room was dirty - shelves covered in months of dust, hairs in the undersink cupboard and small bits of rubbish on the floor. There was food left by previous tenants in the fridge. However the bedding was clean and was very comfortable. It is a busy area for nightlife so fyi it is noisy from outside at night. They only clean the rooms once every 7 days (never stayed in a hotel which does it less than every 3 days). I asked reception for a clean sheet during our stay, and said I would change them myself but they refused. They let you have fresh towels but not a fresh sheet- why??? I then paid for 30k won fee for room cleaning - but all they did was change the sheets, nothing was cleaned and they didn't even bother to empty the bin. I feel ripped off for the cleaning fee, and that the staff were unkind in not just letting me have a change of sheets. I never usually leave bad reviews but the cleanliness was completely unacceptable.

It was really nice and did look exactly like the photos provided. The staff were very accommodating. They do have a space where you can leave your luggage if you need to (free of charge!) but confirm times with front desk. Only complaint would be the tub in the bathroom was really deep and hard to get into if you are a shorter individual like me (5’2). But besides that I would say it’s a really nice place to stay & nearby all the popular points in Hongdae :)

Flies everywhere in the room and the wall was a disgusting concrete slab with holes and shards of stone everywhere.
And our AC was broken and my girlfriend was having awful period cramps and super uncomfortable.
It advertises with on sight laundry but it is doubled the price of regular laundry centres.
It’s in a convenient area but is lazily maintained and dirty. One of the most uncomfortable stays I’ve ever had.
Only go if your there for the location for short time.

The room was a throwback hostel: stained concrete walls, dorm room beds, Ikea/Nittori style crap furniture (broken tiny round table fell apart and dumped my laptop to the floor), metal mini-blinds bent and barely functional. OTOH, the location is great, lots of traveler amenities (communal spaces, work spaces, kitchen, laundry).

Have to take towels down to exchange for clean, this also means bins arent emptied often, when staying a short time the service is highly lacking.

Stayed in twin room and it was insanely small, definetly not suited for 2 people. Bathroom was so small that the sink was in the main bedroom instead if in the bathroom.

Honestly only stay here for the convenient 10 minute walk into hongik university.

Great little place away from the city noise

Great location away from the main insanity of Hongdae but short enough to walk back in. Close to major bus routes around Seoul but also for the airport, metro stations. Hotel has convenience of cafes and shops surrounding it.

The actual place is ideal if you're a digital nomad as the facilities would suit remote working. I liked the vibe and set up, whilst I didn't use cleaning facilities or on-site cafe, I appreciated knowing they were available.

Rooms were quiet, quite small - a couple would have struggled with bags and space possibly - but for a solo traveller ideal. Deep bath to step in for shower so might put some off. I liked the rec rooms on floors and availability of filtered water.

I ended up staying an extra night. Check in/out was seamless, able to do through a machine or with staff on hand.

Would stay again.

the room was decent for what you would need to get out of it: bed, couch, work table, sink, bathroom. there were a few random stains and prints on the wall and furniture but we wiped it down.. there’s also laundry! self-sufficient machine in the common space. location is superb. just a quick 10 minute walk to hongdae shopping street with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. there was even a local farmers market there on the sunday we were there. the service was ok. we had tried to get help with calling a taxi on the day we had to leave for the airport a few times and the staff seemed dismissive and also gave mixed answers. also while using one of their machines, it ate up my money without providing the service and when asking the staff for help they kept telling me they couldn’t do anything. it was very frustrating. don’t think i would be returning but maybe good for solo travelers if they’re looking for others going solo.

The hotel is very nice, and the style it’s going for really works in my opinion. The area around the hotel is also super great for food, shopping and is just a great part of Seoul. The issues we found all had to do with the room lacking many features that are typically available in most hotel rooms. There were no towel racks to hang towels, no ironing board (in a business hotel), no shower curtain so the whole bathroom floor and toilet got soaked, and no closet to hang up clothes. The room also has a light by the door that is motion triggered that could not be turned off, so if you went to the bathroom in the middle of the night you got blasted by a bright light as soon as you walked over. The controls for the lights was on a small led control panel on the wall beside the bed that was very bright at night and also could not be turned off. Lastly the bathroom door is more like a frosted shower door with space on the side of the door so it’s more like a public bathroom stall in your hotel room. Just why, please just put a real door on.

I really liked the 24 hour gym and self laundry machines! There were also a ton of working spaces which I imagine would be useful if I was working on my trip. The rooms were the perfect size for a single person with luggage. It’s about a 15 minute walk away from the closest station exit so you just have to plan in advance to make sure you get to where you need on time.

It's a hostel, not a hotel

This is not a real hotel, it's set up as a hostel that's charging hotel prices. There's no room service unless you stay at least 7 nights. You have to separate out and discard your recycling and trash on your own at the basement floor. They only had hand towels and did not have any bath towels. They did not have any hand soap as well.

The room itself was run down and poorly maintained and the bathroom setup is not good. I did not have any hot water, only lukewarm water.

The location is at least 15-20 minutes walking distance from anything worthwhile. This has to be the worst location I've ever stayed in Seoul.

We were a bit disappointed with the facility. Check-in was quick and easy, but there's a lot about the facility that fell below our expectations. The room was a decent size but fairly spartan. The only towels offered are 4 small hand towels, so not ideal (I even went to the front desk to confirm that they didn't offer large towels). There was not even a chair to sit on. The shower/tub did not have any shower curtain, so water ran onto the floor and soaked the the hand towel that we used as a bath mat. No Kleenex in the room, a kettle but no coffee or tea. The other irritating aspect of the room was the motion sensing light by the front door. If your fellow traveler gets up in the middle of the night, the light will invariably turn on and wake you up. Interestingly enough, the hotel we stayed in deactivated the motion sensing light in their rooms because of this issue. The only 'extra' offered in out room was bottled water.
Despite its funky concept, a lot of aspects in their rooms do not seem to be well thought out. I would not stay here again.

I found interesting that it’s a hotel in a co-working space, so you can have all kinds of services and facilities like a kitchen, a laundry room and even some coffee shops in the same building. I would suggest to change the window blinds that were already broken or twisted.

The only drawback was the bed makes a noise whenever you move.
There is only an all in one shampoo/body wash so bring hand soap and clothes hooks to make the stay easier. I found the clothes hangers were up a bit high for me so the hooks helped.

I just stayed at 4 hotels in Japan (all 2/3 star hotels) before coming to Seoul and staying here. This hotel was a big let down to say the least. Pretentious eco-friendly hotel. They only clean the rooms every 7 days of a stay, so our 3 night stay it was never cleaned. They do not provide toothbrushes or razors because of \"environmental reasons\" they do not provide regular-sized towels, all towels they gave us were hand towels, we asked for a lot since hand towels take forever to dry. There are no shower curtains so expect to have a wet toilet and floors. The sink is in the bedroom instead of the bathroom so also expect wet floors there. They have vendors all over the lobby, I was trying to check out today surrounded by vegetables and honey. There are always students studying in the lobby, it is very open to everyone. Besides your room there is absolutely no privacy or exclusivity to the guests in this hotel. There were two sets of elevators, one on each side of the hotel, a lot of the times one of them is blocked by vendors. I will never come back.

Good location, lacked very basic amenities

While the hotel was situated in a great spot for exploring Seoul, the hotel lacked very basic amenities that I would think any hotel should have. We paid for a deluxe double room (so not a standard) and our double bed was shoved into a corner behind a concrete pole. It was not suitable for 2 people as the person on the inside is unable to get out of the bed without disturbing their partner. The blinds were super cheap and did not keep out any light. The main issue, however, was the lack of bath towels. You are given 2 hand towels only which are not suitable for a hotel as it is nearly impossible to dry yourself after a shower. You are able to collect more of these downstairs without any issue, but what kind of hotel does not offer full size bath towels? In addition, when showering the bathroom gets absolutely soaked and since you’re only given 2 hand towels, there was no bath mat to put down to ensure you didn’t slip and fall. The room did not have a TV, which isn’t a huge deal for us but should be noted. The hotel was very clean and modern. Do not recommend if you’re looking to have a comfortable experience.

No AC, the AC control panel is deceiving. I am lucky that I arrived Korea around April, it is cool outside. The air circulation is very bad. Localstitch is effectively like a university dorm with a study area, shared kitchen facility and a gym. you see uni students there who may be in this facility as it's close to university.

Positives:
1. The room was clean when I checked in. Had a bathroom, a study desk and a bed.
2. Great view of the city and has privacy
3. Air conditioned and I believe there is also a floor heating.
4. There is a coin-operated washing machine and a clothes dryer in B1.

Negatives:
1. I was offered a room which has accessibility features. This posed a serious problem for me because there is no segregation between the shower and the toilet. When I have a shower, the wand is actually facing the toilet and it floods the entire bathroom. The drain is on the other side of the bathroom behind the toilet. I get that that this is for people with accessibility requirements on people on wheelchairs but it has caused a lot of inconveniences to try and access the toilet when the floor is already wet from my time showering.
2. Only offers towels that are the size of handtowels for drying. Thankfully I brought my own towel.

This was my first time staying at a co-working space—concept hotel and I will definitely be coming back! The location itself is very easy to find and convenient (about a 10 minute walk to the station).

Lobby gives off very relaxing and cozy vibes which I love, and self-check in and check out is also available. On some days, there will also be small market stands selling handmade goodies and fresh produce in the courtyard!

There's also a 7/11 right by the corner and plenty of cafes to explore around the area. Hotel facilities were clean, room prices were super affordable and the staff are very friendly :)

Can't wait to come back! ❤️❤️

I checked in after hours so I had to check in via a kiosk which was okay and easy but our room had no towels, no information on wifi, and the AC would not turn on. I wasn’t sure how to reach out to them which was unfortunate. The room was spacious otherwise and good location.

Had an amazing stay here. Super close to the main Hongdae area but far enough away where it’s quiet at night. Stayed at the end of winter and the room/hallway was always warm so very pleasant. The people working were very helpful and nice. I also always felt safe inside the hotel and outside. Would def recommend to 20yr old travellers.

This is an awesome and cool boutique hotel within walking distance of the hustle and bustle of Hongdae neighbourhood. The check-in and check-out are made very smooth by the high tech front desk. There is even a coffee machine robot! The best part of this hotel for me was its access to Hongdae, which is just a 10 minute walk away, yet the surrounding area is nice and quiet compared to Hongdae. This is a great option for anyone staying in Seoul, even if just for a layover. It is a short walk to the airport railroad!

i had a wonderful stay - the place was about a 10 min walk from the nearest train station and other touristy streets in hongdae. room was clean and in great condition, staff was nice and i had no issues checking in and out. wifi speed was great too. i guess one thing that might come as a surprise is that they do not provide toiletries except for a 3-in-1 shampoo/wash liquid, but there is a nearby convenience store.

Perfect location if you would like to stay in/near Hongdae, as it’s just a ~5-10min walk from Mangwon station and has a denser collection of nearby cafes and good restaurants than I’ve seen almost anywhere else. The lobby has a great, collaborative vibe of people working, studying, cooking, and doing laundry (as it’s connected to a coworking space on the 2nd floor). The room itself was clean, but missing a few key amenities, like a nightstand/shelf next to the bed and hand soap next to the sink, but was overall chic and well-designed. I look forward to the next time I travel to Seoul and can stay at the hotel.
