This is the better LOTTE hotel in the city. Central in Hongdae, excellent views. The feel of the hotel is definitely on the younger side, as in it would appeal to a younger audience (millennial or Gen Z. The hotel has good amenities, a restaurant and plentiful public spaces to relax or work. The rooms are small, at least the double we booked was on the smaller size, common for a big city. Generally the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, the bathroom is small but the shower is large and well appointed. Lots of considered amenities in the room to make the stay comfortable. Overall satisfactory, clean, modern and some thought has gone into what would appeal for the audience they are looking to attract.

Good hotel at a good location. It is near to Hongdae shopping areas and is right next to the airport limousine bus stop and train station.

Only issue i have with the hotel is that the lift takes forever to come. It is not uncommon to wait for 3 minutes plus for or more the lift to come.

Also i dislike the pillow. But this is more of a personal preference. The room can gets noisy at times as it is right next to the road. Also whenever i turn on the shower or tap with hot water there will be a strange sound likely caused by the water pressure.

Beside that, everything is good and should not deter you from considering this hotel.

Fantastic location, 3 mins walk subway, with direct access to airport, both rail and bus option. Vibrant place in the evening, with young crowds. One stop-location with plenty shopping and dining, cafes, hairdresser, Olive Young, etc. Room is small, functional and doable. Check-in and room are on upper levels. The lifts waiting time can be long. Only compliant about the room is the bathroom. It is a bathtub, and has no installed shower screen. So, once you shower, the whole bathroom floor will be wet, which make this super inconvenient. A simple shower screen should do the trick and wonder why the hotel does not do this. Also, for our room, toilet bowl bidget is not working. Choose this place for the unbeatable location!

If it wasn’t for the construction and noise I would probably give a 4. The missing star would be the size of the room and pillows were very flat.

This hotel has courteous English speaking receptionist. Cool lounge and a great breakfast buffet ( it is more like a brunch buffet with lots of food choices). Rooms are clean with all the amenities you need. And location is unbeatable. Also has a coffee shop on the second floor, Lotteria right next to it and a k-pop store on the first floor. I stayed there with my 15 year old daughter and we loved it. Highly recommend for parents with teens. The only drawback- the street noise can be loud at night so ask for the higher floor.

The hotel was perfect, it was not amenities that we are used to in the United States, but it was perfectly lovely and a great place to stay. They did not have smart TVs and you could not use your room charge at the restaurant, but wonderful location and everything else was wonderful.

Overall a great stay! Staff was very accommodating! I spoke some Korean, but even if I didn't, most of the check-in staff had no problem communicating in English. The laundry room was easy to use. The only headache I had was taking the correct subway exit to find the hotel. Online, it said 5, but Subway Exit 1 is the closest.

The room was clean and well kept. The staff were absolutely amazing. The best part was that they still allowed you to use the air conditioner even though it is winter. The cherry on top is the air purifier in the room being someone who suffers from allergies and asthma year round that was amazing. 10/10 would highly recommend this hotel for people to stay at.

I like the hotel, the receptionist are all friendly and also the room is clean and comfortable. We booked 2 rooms for me and my friend to stayed for 5 nights. I like Hongdae area. I always stayed in this area when I stayed in Seoul but this is my first time staying in L7. I like the lounge area of this hotel and also the rooftop. The bed and bathroom are also comfortable and clean. Overall is a nice hotel and service.

In the heart of the young, vibrant, and trendy Hongdae area. This hotel is perfect for people who wanna stay close to the action in the heart of a fun part of town. The property itself is very nice and the staff is very good, the youth of the clientele reminds me a little bit of a YOLO in New York City. The restaurant on the 21st floor is very good and the hotel is right next to a K-pop retail store that draws a lot of tourists. Highly recommend, especially for the younger skewing crowd who would like a little bit of luxury to go with their trip.

Only downside was that the rooftop bar which was supposed to be open until 1:00 am was already closed at 11pm . So no night cup for us .
Apart from that - would definitely go back there when in Seoul

Elevator service is slow and very busy- can be frustrating. Pool access is not included even though we were told it was—there are pool tickets given for day of arrival which are no longer usable after 3 pm—which is check-in time! An additional cost was required to use the pool, which is very lovely but small. Area is very, very busy with teenagers. Staff is excellent.

Every thing was fine while my stay except the time I had to take a shower. If you take a bath it’s ok, but when you have to take a shower, the design in the bathroom is terrible, there’s no door in the shower and no matter how carefully you are, outside is always a pool. Please do something about it!

Near hongdae station exit 1, so near the bustle of the area yet not too noisy. Easy check in & out. If you hold the wow pass, they have the machine on the same floor as hotel reception (which had vending machine if you’re lazy to head to CU or GD25 downstairs). The only downside for me was that the pillow was a little soft.

This is my second time staying at L7 Hongdae, I stayed here last June with friends. My son and I were told to be able to check in early when we went to deposit our luggage at the hotel. All was pleasant til the night of 4th June when we were disturbed by loud partying til 3am. It carried on for the next 2 nights. However this unpleasant experience was salvaged by Ms Liz Bae. She managed the situation very well and also offered us a change of room. When we forgotten our room card the next day, she even check in on us about the noise situation. Will choose to stay here again because of the wonderful service by the staff.
