The staff were extremely helpful and the room was very convenient. Walking distance to many of the local shops and night life in Seoul Hongdae. You will hear the street noise as this is surrounded by clubs, bars, shopping and eating establishments, so bring ear plugs. Great location.

Really nice staff and great location, but the quality of sleep was almost non existent. My room was second floor right next to the main road. I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world but the noise in the room here was the worst I’ve experienced. Wouldn’t return simply due to this.

Perfect spot for a couple wanting to explore the city. Only needed the hostel to sleep, shower and do laundry and it was the perfect size/had all necessary amenities. A little small but that was all the space we needed! Very walkable, near subway stations and a 15 min walk to Hongdae shopping street

This hostel is very clean and modern. It is easy to find and it is near lots of yummy restaurants in Yeonnam-dong. I had a room facing the street, so it was pretty noisy early in the morning. Besides that, I really enjoyed my stay!

I had an awesome experience. The staff was able to let me check in about 3 hours early from the 3pm check in time since the room was cleaned early. The room itself was very minimal, functional and clean. I was alone and really enjoyed my stay. The location was great. True to the advertised proximity of the hot spots. Definitely worth the price.

First time visiting Korea (layover), arrived at midnight lost getting to the hotel and worried about check in time but the staff was nice enough to let us check in at 1 am and take our time carrying luggage from station to the hostile. Staff was super welcoming and friendly. Let us keep our luggage at the front after we checked out to explore the area until around 5! Gave us excellent advice on how to get to the Incheon Airport. The staff was friendly, room was super clean, and experience was awesome! Would definitely recommend and will come back again! Thank you!!!

The room is clean and big enough to stay two people comfortably.And very quiet and warm at night.However,the design of bathroom is somehow weird because the area of shower and vanity unit are toghther.It is inconvenient to use the public washing machine if we stay up late outside. Other thing is fine except this concern.

Overall a comfortable 16 days stay. Staff were very accommodating. Room was roomy and not too squeezy. Toilet was clean. Bed comfortable. Has a decent fridge to store drinks n fruits. Hotel was also quite secure and near some 24hr joints.

Will definately stay for the third time soon

It was our second time to stay in Loft8 and like our first, our experience was a good one. Getting to the hotel was easy as it was on the main road, was easy to spot, and was a three minute walk from the Exit 3 of Hongik University Station. Check-in was brief as we just showed our reservations and after a minute, we were brought to our room (which coincidentally was also the room we stayed in during our first stay). During our five-day stay, we made use of the hotel's simple amenities such as the communal kitchen - where one can make use of the water dispenser, the water heater, the coffeemaker, the microwave, cutleries, the kitchen tools, etc. There was also a washing machine, although we did not use it. In terms of the staff, they were all friendly, courteous and very helpful. :) In terms of the bedroom, although it was small, our luggages fitted with enough space to walk around. The beds were a bit firm but they were nonetheless comfortable. Other things found in the room include: a clothes rack in front of the bed which had four hangers, an extension cord (which had a South Korean adapter, thankfully - as my friend forgot to bring one), a small fridge, a television set (there was only one English channel though), and a vanity table. Although the bathroom was small (there was no bathtub), it was clean. They also provided us with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body wash. The only problem was the size of the towels, it was small - but luckily, they provided us with four.

Small yet cosy hotel near the metro station

After taking the AREX from Incheon airport, we left Hongik University Station exit three in order to reach Loft8. The walk itself is around five to eight minutes and the hotel is easy to find as it was on the main road.

Check-in was very easy and brief; and after five minutes, we were led to our room. The hotel itself has maybe around three floors (no elevator but I'm sure the staff will be happy to help with luggage), our room was located in the ground floor. The room size is may be a bit small compared to Western standards but it suited my sister (who I was travelling with) and I. We were provided with two twin-sized beds with enough space to layout our luggages.

The bathroom size was fine enough (though there was no bathtub) and was modern. They also provided us with shampoo, soap, and bath gels. The only problem was the size of the towels, it was quite small - luckily, they provided us with four.

The beds were a bit firm yet still cosy, and it faces the television and a small open rack where one can hang their clothes (we were only provided with two hangers though).

When it came to electronics, they provided us with three (or four) South Korean adapters and an extension outlet (which we found very convenient). There was also a small mini-fridge where we stored water and other perishable goods such as the sheet masks we bought.

Overall, my sister and I have a very good stay in Loft8 and if given the chance, we will definitely be back in the future!

lovely hotel at nice location

Its location is close to exit of Seoul metro line 2 which is the main traffic to most popular areas. The room is simple & lovely, and bed is quite comfortable. But the bathroom is tiny, not very clean and has a bad smell. If you are strict to a clean environment, this is not a good choice. Anyway, others are good.

I stayed for 2 nights, the room was smell bad and dirty when I got there, I thought the smell would be temporary but everytime I went back in, the room always smell bad. And my room was closed to the stairs so I can heard all my neighbors step in and out, door slamming, and neighbors talking.

Our room was great value and very clean. Loft8 was located a short walk from Hongik Uni Station and even with heavy luggage, it wasn't too difficult to get there by foot on a sunny day. We were sent very clear instructions on how to get to Loft8 a few weeks before we arrived which was very appreciated. The rooms were a decent size, with heated floors and a pinpad entry lock. The common kitchen area was a nice place to have a quick meal with our friends who were also staying there. All in all, we didn't spend much time here as it was a great base to explore the Hongdae area and value for money.

My stay at Loft8 was excellent! Upon my arrival the staff was very helpful and friendly. I was pleased to know that all staff spoke English. The room was small but comfortable. I appreciated that there was a mini fridge in the room. The location was great! Hongik subway station was 7 minutes away by walk, and the Hongdae area was a 10 minute walk. I would stay in this hotel again because of its great location and friendly staff.

Could use a little cleaning.

Was given a triple room (one double and one single bed) with attached kitchen and bathroom even when I've booked a double room. Although I am thankful for the additional space, the kitchen doesn't come with any utensils or necessities. If you need to use the kitchen, you are to inform the counter. Aircon was full of dust (not sure if the room was vacant for a long time) and the bedsheets were not clean either. My husband was bitten by bedbugs (he had like 7-8 red bites) during the first night and we didn't dare sleep for the second night. The temperature and the power of the shower was good though. It was a little difficult to lug the luggage all the way to and from the subway, but staff was friendly to help carry our luggage to our room on the second storey.

Loft 8 stay for 6 days

Pleasant stay. It was about 5-10 mins walk from Hongkik Uni Exit 3. Stayed on the 3rd floor which makes it difficult for me to carry my luggages down. The stairs were really steep. Towel comes in a sports towel size and the toilet is really small. However the bed is comfortable, the water pressure and heater is good and everything is working well. My best stay out of the 3 i stayed in Korea.

Save money and still stay clean and comfortable!

I was staying here with a friend for a little tourist sight seeing. The area is SUPER convenient to the subway and is on a main thoroughfare so fairly easy for taxis to find it.

I'm tall (6'7\" or 2.0 m). So when I saw that we were in the bed that was foot to foot, the owner offered a different room for me and my buddy. Excellent service.

The bathrooms are small. The shower is combined with the sink, which personally I thought was pretty darn cool. It works. It's efficient, and it's something I wasn't used to as an American. I appreciated the logic behind it. The place is more similar to a hostel environment, but even for a hotel snob like me (I shop hotels like crazy) you can't beat this place for the price.

The breakfast was a little slim but normal. Cereal, toast, nutella, jam, butter with some juice and coffee. Throwing in some yogurt or something along those lines would have made it nice. Maybe even some fresh fruit.

Bottom line: would I stay here again? Absolutely. Great place, great management. Perfect for when you're a tourist and just trying to stay on a reserved budget but still stay someplace clean and comfortable.

This hotel was great for a one night stay while travelling around Seoul. There were some issues, though. The front door didn't work (lock protected), so you had to go through the back. Also, I'm not sure the covers were recently cleaned. There was a very obvious amount of long hair everywhere. If that is something that you can't handle, it might be best to avoid here. For the price it was not a major issue for me, though. Breakfast was as advertised. It was very simple, but sometimes it's nice to just have toast and cereal. You aren't paying for a luxury hotel.

Clean, quiet inexpensive place to stay in Hongdae. The service is pretty hands off while you're there, they will bring you new towels and empty your trash cans if you put the sign on the door. Lots of great places to shop as well as bars and restaurants within walking distance. I mean, it's Hongdae after all.

A good choice of staying at Loft8

It's easy to find as it is located on the track of airport railway. It took about 5 mins walk from the subway to Loft8. The room was clean and new. Free wifi service was fast and stable. The staffs were very nice and the last day before we left they took initiative helping us to mail some postcards. It was a good choice of staying over 6 nights. The only one thing that disappointing me was the toilet floor got wet through and through when taking shower bath.

The guesthouse was easy to find on the main road and walking distance to the hongdae shopping area/restaurant. Close to the metro and the green line is really convenient with stopping in major tourist shopping spots like ehwa university and myoung dong. Nice and cozy rooms with underfloor heating helps in these freezing cold weather. Overall, pleasant stay in loft 8 with their friendly staff.

ここへ宿泊したのは2回目ですが、駅や繁華街にも近いのでとても好きなホテルです。仁川空港や金浦空港からも乗換せずに一本で行けますし、1人旅行で心配な方にはオススメな場所です！
シャワー（バスタブ無し）、トイレ、洗面所が同じ所にあるので、韓国のお風呂事情に慣れていない方は驚くかもしれませんが、これに慣れてしまえば問題はありません。
朝ごはんも袋入りのドーナツや焼き菓子、シリアル、飲み物がありました。豪華とは言えませんが、無料で食べれると思ったら充分です。
部屋も2人で泊まってスーツケースを広げると足の踏み場がなくなるくらいに狭いですが、とても清潔感のあるホテルで、匂いなども全くありません（むしろ良い匂いです）
私はこれからもこちらのホテルを利用させていただきます。先日もありがとうございました^ ^

แนะนำให้เดินเข้าทางข้างหลัง เนื่องจากเดินง่ายกว่าและสบายกว่า ห่างจากฮงแดไม่มากนะ เป็นทางมายอนนัมซึ่งร้านอาหารเยอะมากๆ และเปิดดึก

ห้องชั้น 1 ช่วงดึกอาจจะยังมีคนเดินผ่านไปผ่านมาบ้างเพราะติดถนน แต่ไม่ได้เสียงดังขนาดนั้นนะ

安すぎて不安になったのですが新築？だからかめちゃめちゃ快適！ベッドもちょうどいい固さですごく寝やすかったです。ラウンジが利用でき、立地も便利なところにあってコスパ抜群。水回りは韓国スタイルでトイレとシャワーが一体化してますが、一晩で乾くので特に問題なかったです。タオルが変えられなかったのが少し残念でした。

最近的地鐵有機場線AREX 4號出口和2號線3號出口, 出來徒步7-8分鐘會到hostel!
B1後面出來就有一間GS25, 附近也很多小店可逛!
這次一個人去找朋友住雙人房覺得房間大小很ok, 可以將29吋行李箱攤平~ 若雙人入住可能會有一個行李箱不能打開才能走動!
喜歡靠窗的床位而且床很軟還有一整面大玻璃窗, 小房間很難得有這麼大片的玻璃窗! 白天將窗簾拉開陽光灑落在床上很舒服:)
浴室乾淨, 洗完澡抽風機很快就讓地板乾了!
房間隔音算好沒聽到隔壁或樓上房客的聲音, 但由於位在大馬路上所以晚上可能會聽到一些車聲!
有附簡便自助式早餐, 果汁/牛奶/咖啡/麵包/吐司/麥片都可以自己弄來吃!
員工都很親切! 這次check in和check out剛好都遇到同一位台灣女生覺得特別親切:)
整體來說是一間會讓人想再來住的hostel!!!

位置不過不失，房間也挺小的，但新和整潔，一樓房間就在通道旁，整理房間服務每2晚一次，有提供簡單早餐。

・新しいホテルなのできれい
・パスワードで入室のため、
　ルームキー、カード持ち歩き不要
・B1にカフェスペース有り
・USBコンセントがあるので変換プラグ不要
・周辺にカフェやBARが多い
・コンビニも近くに有り

気になる点
・ランドリー料金が400〜500円と高め？
（普段使わないので相場不明）
・トイレ、シャワー、洗面台は
　狭いスペースに一緒になってるので、
　シャワーを使うと全体的びちゃびちゃに
　なります。（海外あるある）

場所も弘大入口駅に近く部屋もシンプルで綺麗。施設の方も親切で気持ち良く泊まれました。シャワーとトイレが一緒で狭くシャワーを使用の際水が部屋まで少し流れてしまうのが少し気になりました。
ただ、この価格、立地、施設共に満足なホステルです。

フロントの方々が親切
掃除の行き届いた部屋　
清潔感がある水回り
（無料の）朝食のパンの品ぞろえの良さ＆おいしかった

枕が硬くて自分には合わなかったけど、、、それ以外は心地よく過ごせました。
また二人では狭く感じると思うので　またひとりの時に利用しようと思っています。

この値段でこの待遇は素晴らしいと思います。
ゲストハウスと書いてありますが、1人一部屋で、食堂では他の国の方と交流もできると思います。スタッフも英語ですが優しいです。
トイレとシャワー同じ空間にあるので、シャワーの際に便器まで濡れますが、カーテンがあるので大丈夫かなという感じです。
また泊まりたいです

整體好滿意, 住宿附近就有便利店, 搭AREX到弘大3號出口5-8分鐘就步行到住宿
員工也有禮貌, 可以幫忙點餐(炸雞, 炸醬麵等)
房間雖小, 但隔音也很好, 很乾淨, 冷氣也很足夠
唯一不足的是, 沖涼花灑水略嫌較小。這家是可以再來之選。

還可以住平的不要有太高要求

住4天晚了訂房所以住在G/F的2人房比較近馬路邊車聲比較嘈有點難入睡

冷氣機的顯示燈比較光晚上關掉所有燈之後那盞燈光到不行了唯有想辦法搵東西遮一下不然就睡不了

沒有房間清潔服務但可以要求換毛巾

只是窗邊有遺留上一手房客的手指甲碎沒有清潔得很全面

ホステルに初めての宿泊です。駅から近く建物はキレイです。私がチェックインした時のスタッフさんは日本語で対応して下さいました。確かに外の道路の騒音は気になると思います。トイレとシャワーが一緒ですが、仕切りのカーテンがあったのでさほど気になりませんでした。あと洗面台にコップは無しです。タオルとゴミの交換は2日置きでプレートをドアノブに掛けて置きお願いするスタイルです。トイレにペーパー流せないのはやはり気になりました。あと窓にロールカーテンしか無いので外から丸見えの為開ける事は出来ません。早朝に出掛ける必要があったのでスタッフさんに前日にタクシー予約出来るか聞いたのですが、その時間でもタクシー走ってるから大丈夫と言われてたのですがぜんぜんタクシー捕まらず…かなり大変な思いをしました。総合的には良い施設だと思いましたが、やはりホテル慣れしている私にはちょっと厳しい面もありました
