Great location - quiet and easy bus ride into the old town (provided by hotel). Walking distance to the beach. Good size and comfortable room, decent breakfast too. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely pool but deck chairs, flooring and towels need updating.

The whole entire experience of the stay was excellent, the staff were so wonderful and the everyday greetings, personal handwritten messages and treats left in the room, the atmosphere, the activities, the spa, the food created memories that will last a lifetime. I've travelled all over the world and stayed in 5 star resorts, but Silk Sense's personal touch stood out the most from large international chains. Large rooms, clean, sustainability at the heart of what they do. Cannot recommend this resort enough. Thank you to each one of the staff here are a few names...Anh,Hung, Khanh, Quy, Bao, Dat, Nga, Thuy, Hien and Linh. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Silk Sense which is a beautiful resort with friendly staff, and a sustainable philosophy as well. Our room 409 was spacious and clean, with a balcony view of the river. My partner is gluten free and vegetarian, and initially we had an issue with their menu which showed a dish as being gluten free but it wasn't. After flagging this with management, they rectified it the next day by ensuring there were gf breakfast options throughout our stay, including gf bread and treats. The location is peaceful, 15 minutes away from the chaos of Hoi An old town.

Other features:
- large pool with pool-side service
- daily complimentary purified bottled water
- gluten free specific menu
- free shuttle bus into Hoi An old town and nearby beach
- free bicicyle use and helmet
- free activites such as pottery

A special mention: Thuy the manager was very helpful and friendly, she provided advice about activites as well as helped with the gluten free menu.

As a family of four, we loved our 3 night stay at Silk Sense Resort. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, with excellent beds and pillows. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We visited the spa daily for amazing massages, which we highly recommend.

The complimentary shuttle service to and from Hoi An Old Town was very convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely recommend staying at the Silk Sense resort.

We had a fabulous time in Vietnam but Hoi An was definitely the highlight. We were concerned that we should have stayed in town but with Grab taxis costing 5 GBP we realised we made an excellent choice. Lounged by the pool, visited their beach resort, had great breakfasts and used the free shuttle to the fullest extent. After 4 days we said a tearful goodbye to the wonderful receptionist/staff member, Ly who has one of the loveliest smiles! Thoroughly recommend the Silk Sense for all of the above reasons.

We had such a great stay at silk sense, the hospitality was amazing, staff went out of there way to learn our names and help us with anything they could. Nothing was too much trouble! Particular shout outs to Hung and Ly who were just so lovely and made our stay extra special. The pool was big and great for all the family. So glad we stayed a little way out of town with the kids, free shuttle buses were plentiful. Breakfast was amazing. Family room was spacious with privacy for Mum and Dad, beds were super comfy

We had an issue with the affiliated travel operator for snorkelling and scuba diving experience (misleading and terrible overall) and the front staff and assistant manager took time to listen to our feedback, understand the issue and help us provide a solution.

We stayed at Silk sense for a week with our 20-month-old. The setting is quiet and pleasant, and staff were consistently kind and helpful.
However, safety and problem-solving fell short for a 5-star hotel. On arrival we found our room had a raised platform and stairs—information not disclosed at booking and unsuitable with a toddler. After the first night the baby cot broke, waking our daughter; we later saw four exposed, rusty screws. The replacement arrived without a mattress (a folded comforter was used), and when we asked again we were told no proper cot was available. The hotel then bought a newborn cot with sides only ~50 cm high—easy to climb out of—especially risky with stairs in the room.
We changed to a room without stairs, but it was a clear downgrade from what we booked. At checkout, no goodwill gesture was offered until we asked; we received ~€10 off consumables and an airport transfer that was already included via Expedia. Disappointing overall.

One of the best possible hotel stays I've had. Staff consistently went above and beyond to deliver excellent service and hospitality. Location is perfect, between river and beach away from the noise of town. Easy transport options with shuttle bus, or taxis/grab. Breakfast was always an abundance and room was always well stocked with tea, coffee, snacks and water. Excellent amenities, cleanliness, and couldn't recommend more.

Lovely staff and lovely hotel. 15 minute taxi out of Old Town, and Grabs are easy to get. Shower over bath was difficult to use but we made do. Hotel is very eco friendly. The snacks they provide are a nice touch. Lots of activities provided by the hotel. Breakfast was okay - eggs made to order and coffee were great. Rooms immaculately clean. Would be a lovely place to enjoy the pool, but we came in the wrong season.

Such a lovely resort. Vu the man at reception who helped us with our bags, made our stay very personal by memorising our names.

The only downside of our stay was when a company held a gala at the hotel and all the attendees were very loud, obnoxious and rude. The loud music was blaring across the pool and then all the attendees flooded into the pool area and it became very busy. We saw attendees spitting and blowing their nose in the pool, which was quite unappealing. The hotel staff just watched on and did not calm the noise or behaviour. This was unfortunate as we planned to have a pool day which was unexpectedly ruined. In the future I think the hotel would benefit from informing their guests when such corporate events will be happening and they tend to take over the hotel and make facilities unusable for other guests.

Apart from that we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend.

This a perfect place to stay when visiting Hoi An. the service was attentive, friendly and flexible. The location is quiet and peaceful. The pool was a delight to spend time in and around. athe restaurant was superb, professionally run and offered a diverse range of delicious vietnamese and non vietnamese meals. The breakfast included lots of different delights, with a good level of day to day variety. The shuttle to the old town made accessing the main attractions of Hoi An and all the restaurants easy. But one could always take a taxi, grab or even rent a scooter (highly recommended for those that have the coordination and courage). Would recommend this resort highly.

An absolutely incredible hotel nestled just off the beach, the Silk Sense resort is an ideal luxury resort just north of Hoi An.
Featuring immaculate service where nothing is too much trouble, staff will make you feel incredibly welcomed and provide whatever is needed.
We stayed in a River View Suite with a Private Pool, which was spread over two floors and featured a small plunge pool in the back garden to cool off in. Rooms are finished off very nicely with all necessary amenities. Our stay included breakfast which featured a vast, high quality selection.
The hotel provided an hourly free shuttle to and from downtown Hoi An which made getting around incredible easy.
The sheer number of free activities put on by the hotel meant you didn’t have to stray too far if you wanted to be entertained. The hotel also helped arrange paid for activities and access to nearby attractions, which was very helpful.
The Silk Sense is very good value, with an exceptional nightly rate, amazing staff and service and fantastic amenities. Could not recommend highly enough.

My wife and I stayed here for one week in August 2023. The biggest takeaway about our stay at Silk Sense was the incredible customer service. I particularly want to thank the restaurant manager Thuy. Her level of service is world class.

We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool. The pool area is relaxing and quiet.

We stayed in the King Suite with a river view. The size of the two-story room was impressive. It was perfect for a couple.

We took advantage of the breakfast buffet every morning. There is cuisine from both eastern and western culture also with a ton of fresh fruit. And, of course, Vietnamese coffee!

I would highly recommend staying here. We look forward to returning next summer!

Helpful staff in general. Hotel is well-kept and in a quiet area about10 mins away by car to the old town. Good breakfast spread and food is tasty.
Cross a main road is the beach and facing our room's balcony is the river which we had a good view off.
Appreciate the birthday surprise at check-in (cake in the room) and nice touches like free soft drinks and snacks from the mini bar.

Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful resort, good location, easy to get to places, either by walking, bicycle or shuttle. For further destinations the resort will arrange transportation for you. We did all of these and all were great. But what really makes the resort is the staff...all are exceptional; friendly, kind, helpful above and beyond! We especially hold in highest regard Nga at reception, Trang in the restaurant and 2 of the managers, Khanh and Tuan. So grateful to have had the experience we did.

Really liked Silk Sense, the apartments were impeccable, the service was top notch and the breakfast was excellent. Only downside was the location, which was a little too far from the beach (10 min walk) or Hoi An (10 min car ride). I doubt you get as good a resort if it was not in the spot it is though, so it’s a fine compromise

Lovely hotel in tranquil setting

A lovely week at this hotel by the river. Peaceful setting, nice pool, incredibly helpful and friendly staff especially on reception. The spa was also good, and the free foot massage for 2 very welcome. We also were given vouchers for a free afternoon tea and 15% off at a tailor in Hoi An, which we definitely used. Food was reasonable with good breakfast buffet, nice menu of local and western food at the pool cafe and restaurant though would be nice to see a few vegetable side dishes at the main restaurant. Shuttle bus to Hoi An (and beach) was brilliant, and excursions offered from the hotel also good. Not much going on around the hotel locally in terms of alternative places to eat - there are a few on the main road but with Hoi An a 15 min bus trip away it’s not much of a problem. We did get a little bored of pizza and pasta for our children at the hotel (they are picky eaters and not great with Asian food) but generally found the choice of food good. One minor point - if you are a tea lover, consider taking your own tea bags to breakfast unless you are happy with just Lipton!
Al things consifered, we loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Amazing! My husband I stayed there for 2 days. We used the hotel-airport transfer and it was perfect. Our driver was waiting for us and was very accommodating. He immediately provided us with an ice cold towel and a chilled bottle of water, which was much obliged since it was scorching outside. The actual facility was gorgeous...very similar to some of the hotels we stayed in Punta Cana. Very thing was well kept. The room itself was very modern and clean! The bed was comfy! The pool was divine! The shuttle service to Old Town was ontime. Breakfast was yummy and the hotel food was good...not excellent...but good. Loved my experience.

Just spent 5 nights in this hotel (July 2018). I agree with many of the other reviews that this hotel has many many upsides. New, modern, clean, friendly staff.

However, for our needs, it didn't quite hit the mark.

We were in Hoi An for 5 nights six days, so we had a lot of down time that we wanted to spend relaxing at the hotel by the pool, and in my opinion this is where this hotel is just too small. The pool itself is lovely but doesn't have enough sun beds around it so you end up in the old..put your towels out routine. The lunch food was very average and there's not really anything around the hotel within easy walk as an alternative.

There is a private beach but I never found it. There is a 9am shuttle to it (too early for me) but otherwise its a cab ride or 1km walk.

In my opinion, this is the perfect hotel if you want to use it as a base for sightseeing with maybe a dip in the pool but I didn't feel it's a 'hang out all day' kind of place.

If I were to go to Hoi An again I'd either choose a pool hotel closer into the centre of Hoi An or a hotel on the beach.

(Also, the photos are misleading. It looks like the grounds run down to the river from the pool, but actually there's a road between the pool and the river. )

Location was good, staffs were rather friendly and smiley, but dinner choice was poor, and logics of 'promotion' both for taxi fare and spa treatment seemed us unfair, which disturbed us much.
Concretely, one car fare should be the same either for 1 person or 3 persons, not per person. The manager tried to convince us that he could suggest a 'special discount = 1 person free', but the basic fare counted by person was not fair. Then the itinerary which he explained us was not respected, either initially lied or not respected by their employee. It was a real bad memory and pity.

This brand new resort is stunning. Great pool, settings and rooms. Right on the river!
Only thing is it’s about a 10-15 minute drive out of town. They have a shuttle and taxis are only USD $5. We also rode bikes in one day. This didn’t bother us at all as Hoi An isn’t all about the Ancient town. The bikes were great to ride through the rice patties and see Tre Qua gardens. Good gym and brekky is delicious!
We booked a deluxe room but the king bed was 2 single beds pushed together but horizontally! We asked to change and were upgraded to a garden villa! Definitely book the villas!!

Love that this place is located at a good distance from the city centre. Pool was relaxing with a good view of the river. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. A lovely boutique hotel with well planned layout and beautiful surroundings. The service was great and responsive. The extra mile of complimentary foot massage and daily afternoon tea by the pool was just superb. The free shuttle bus to Hoi An ancient town was very useful. The beach is a short walk but is across the main road though.

Weather is cold, never expected that. We stayed for a week and been to Marble mountain, An Bun hill and Central markets etc. Only that lots of motorbikes here and there, kind of dangerous for kids and elderly, swimming pool if water can be warm during cold days to allow kids to swim cos my children kind of disappointed.
So far great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this new resort. On arrival we also received a free upgrade to a great room with a balcony looking over the river. The staff were all very friendly and really accommodating.

Great selection of food at the restaurant and a nice selection available at breakfast.

Lovely pool and spa. A really nice place to stay especially when you have had a long day in the hustle and bustle of town. Were able to come back to the resort and relax in the great garden setting and relax.

Would recommend to anyone travelling to Hoi An.

Fantastic hotel, facilities are excellent, rooms lovely. The free shuttle into town is brilliant and the breakfast buffet was the best we have ever had. There tends to be a breakdown in communication between the pool staff and orders that go into the kitchen, so be prepared to follow up your order. Kids loved the pool, fitness center is good. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Great place to stay in Hoy An

The Silk Sense Resort is one of the very best hotels we have ever been to. It was launched acfew months ago so obviously all is brand new. It is beautifully designed and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The hotel's amenities are just great, including realtively big outdoor pool, spa, fitness room and more. The resort is spread over a large space beautifully equipped with vegetation and small water pools which gives a feel of utmost tranquility. It is located on the river side and the scene of the river from the rooms' balcony is beautiful. Very rich breakfast is served, surely the best we had in our trip to Vietnam. The hotel is not far from the beach, about 300 meters. However, it is not within the more populated beach strip, which is about 1 km north, where all the beach restaurants and bars are located. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle to the city centre and back from every two hours, which otherwise would cost around $5 by taxi. We planned to stay for 2-3 nights but we lijed ut so much we stayed the whole week.

Best Hotel in Hoi An

This is a wonderful oasis a bit outside of Hoi An. Don't mind the distance to the city centre though, as the hotel has a shuttle service driving quite frequently back and forth. They have a great selection of activities and facilities to use.

1) 건물 및 룸: 오래된 것같은데 깨끗하게 잘 관리되어 있음. 조금 불편하지만 환경보호를 위해 플라스틱 사용을 줄이는 취지는 마음에 듦. 슈페리어 룸은 생각보다 작았지만 세면대가 2개인 건 좋음
2) 조식: 빵과 커피 맛있고 야채가 신선함. 뷔페 구성은 매일 조금 더 변화를 주면 좋을 것같고 의외로 쌀국수는 맛이 없어 아쉬움. ㅜㅜ
3) 스파: 늦은 체크아웃 프로모션 패키지에 포함된 전신 스파(60분)는 남편이 매우 만족했고 가격이 조금 더 저렴하면 매일 받고 싶다고 함(다음엔 나도 강하게 해달라고 해야지…).
4) 늦은 체크아웃 프로모션 패키지: 가격이 저렴하진 않지만 룸에서 편히 쉬다가 밤 10시에 바로 공항으로 가고싶다면 이 패키지가 유용. 두 가지 종류가 있으며 나는 점심 또는 저녁식사와 전신 마사지 포함된 옵션 선택.
5) 직원 친절: 대부분 매우 친절하여 지나칠 때마다 반갑게 인사함. 단, 프론트에 예민한 여직원 한 분은 조금 무서움.

리조트 주변은 조용한 편이라
진정한 휴식을 취하는 것이 가능합니다.
나무들이 우거져 있고 조경이 잘 관리되어 있습니다.
모든 스텝들이 친절합니다. 마주칠 때마다 미소를
지으며 인사를 해주시는데 소소한 감동을 받았습니다.
체크아웃 후 스파를 가는길에 스텝이 대신 짐가방을
끌고가서 맡아주었습니다.
수영장 수질 또한 깨끗한 편이라 쾌적하게 이용했습니다.
조식에 망고가 있는 점 또한 좋습니다.
다음에 호이안에 여행을 오게 된다면,
꼭 다시 찾아오겠습니다.

다낭에서 3박 후, 호이안으로 이동하며 silk sense에서 3박을 하였습니다. (마지막날은 late checkout 했구요.)
주변의 조용하면서도 아름다운 분위기,
그리고 아주 아름다운 리조트 풍경, 산책하기도 좋았구요.
수영장도 아이들과 놀기에 너무 좋았습니다.
직원들 친절한 것은 너무 당연했고,
저녁마다 룸마다 돌아다니면서 물이나 타월이 더 필요한지 꼼꼼하게 확인해주는 서비스도 맘에 들었습니다.

룸 컨디션도 매우 좋았고, 침대도 아주 안락했습니다.
다낭 쪽에서 있는 3일보다, 호이안에서 머물렀던 3일이 훨씬 좋은 기억으로 남네요.

아..식사도 아주 맛있었습니다.
아침마다 쌀국수도 한 그릇씩 먹었네요 ㅎㅎ

호이안쪽 숙소 찾으신다면 아주 강력하게 추천합니다.

최고의 실크센스호이안

안녕하세요, 이번 노루태풍간에 실크센스호이안에서 2박을 머물렀는데, 전체적으로 직원이 친절하며 무엇보다 뷰가 너무 좋았어요. 예정에도 없던 1박을 추가해서 지냈는데 관련하여 정말 친절하게 답변해주시고, 추가 부대시설 및 올드타운으로 가는 셔틀버스도 운행하며 조식도 깔끔하고 괜찮았습니다. 무엇보다 룸컨디션도 넓고 깔끔하고 좋았고, 깨끗했어요. 태풍만 아니였어도 훨씬 좋았을꺼같은데, 태풍간 밤새 고생하시는 직원들덕분에 편안하게 지내다 갑니다. 무엇보다 다낭보다 호이안에서 더 친절하고 좋은기분 많이 가져갑니다. 감사합니다.
