We stayed 7 nights at Palm Garden and loved every minute!
The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the breakfast buffet is varied and delicious (we had Phó for breakfast every morning but there is a wide array of western options).
There’s happy hour at both bars.
Our room was a few steps away from the swimming pool, the spa, the games room and the beach. We stayed at Villa 101.
The resort never felt crowded and the staff were very attentive.
The massages at the Spa were great.
Special thank you to Mr Thí who taught my sons to cut coconuts!
I definitely recommend Palm Garden and we hope to return soon.

So glad we stayed in HoiAn beach area rather than DaNang. Old town a very easy grab ride away and we went in most days and to enjoy the markets and night lantern vibes. Great loation by the bach and not far from Hoi An old town with 3 times a day free shuttle. Great swimming pool and very kind staff. Amazing breakfast, and near by dining option outside the hotel. A problem with the faucets was repaired quickly.

We found the Palm Gardens Resort to be welcoming right from the start, the staff are lovely and obliging, the room was spacious and very handy to the reception, pool and restaurants. Palm gardens was an excellent base for us whilst visiting friends in danang and hoi an. Using grabs was a convenient and cheap way to get around. Service was awesome, the room was clean and comfortable tho in need of a renovation. Facilities were good and drinks and food great. Mr Long the lifeguard was a funny guy who kept us laughing. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful - beautiful layout of the grounds/swimming pool/restaurants. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very spacious, lovely big bathroom. Staff were super friendly and extremely helpful- special mention to “coconut man” who was always smiling and at your service. 10 min taxi ride into Hoi An and very cheap with Grab, though the hotel provide a free shuttle x3/day at fixed times if it suits.

Our stay at the Palm Garden Resort & Spa was wonderful. All the staff and Mr Thi were very helpful and welcoming. The spa services had jacuzzi were definitely 5 stars. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and included toiletries. Also appreciated the hotel shuttle to Old Town in the day. I’m the evenings the grab taxi booked on our phones was relatively inexpensive. Would definitely recommend the Palm Garden Resort to anyone visiting Hoi An as it’s a perfect base. Thank you!

Absolutely loved this accommodation. We had a villa right on the beach. It was a joy to come back here after a day sightseeing in Hoi An. The shuttle bus is convenient, although does finish very early, however Hoi An is a short taxi ride away. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the area whilst not being too far out of Hoi An itself. Thoroughly recommend!

Palm Garden Beach Resort is a beautiful retreat with stunning grounds and spacious, comfortable rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfasts were excellent with a great variety. The private beach was pristine and gorgeous—a perfect spot to relax. It's also conveniently close to Hoi An Old Town and about 30 minutes from Danang. Highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

We decided to stay at a Hoi A beach resort so that we could be outside the town for some peace. Palm Garden is a beautiful resort with beach, pool and several restaurants. Great location as you have the peace of the resort and only 15 minutes in a Grab/taxi to the centre of Hoi A with its bustle, restaurants and, of course, tailors. Staff are helpful and the facilities are excellent, thoroughly recommended.

What an amazing stay - this is a beautiful hotel - we had a beach bungalow and it did not disappoint.
The pool guys, the reception, housekeeping - all brilliant and worthy of 5+ stars.
The only reason we have dropped a star was that in the first night we ate at the ‘Italian’ style restaurant - and the only vegetarian option was either a standard pasta or a margarita pizza - I went for the pizza - and it was up there with the worst I’d ever had.
The breakfasts were amazing - we didn’t risk any of the other restaurants - so ate off site all other times and we loved that.
The pool guys, the reception, housekeeping - all brilliant and worthy of 5+ stars.

The Palm Garden Resort is the perfect mix of big resort and personal service. The location is fabulous, just a short drive to the old town of Hoi An with out the hustle and bustle. Fronting a white sandy beach with cool clear water just off the grassed area with sun lounges and a bar. There are several reasonable restaurants just five minutes walk down the beach. We stayed in one of the beach front bungalows, which I highly recommend if it fits with your budget. The room was spacious, nicely appointed with a seating area out front to kick back, relax, and enjoy an afternoon drink. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with any requests. Van greeted us at breakfast every morning and Mr. Vu took care of any requirements while relaxing by the beach. (particularly blowing up the water floaties). The food at the restaurants is first class but if you want more traditional Vietnamese you have to see Lily at the Ben Tau restaurant across the road. Great food at great prices. I can recommend this resort more highly. 5 stars for location, service, friendliness, and great staff. Thanks to the Palm Garden resort for making our stay in Hoi An so relaxing and enjoyable.

We were however disappointed with quality, quantity, narrow selection and high over pricing of the food and beverage (with exception of breakfast). Lack of handheld shower in the bath is also a problem especially when having to shower young children. Bed mattresses are old and relatively uncomfortable. Replacing them will go a long way with improving the already enjoyable stay.

We (2 adults + 1 child) stayed in Bungalow 401 which was one of the most premium room types available. Unfortunately the bathroom had a substantial leak on arrival & the first night we were unable to sleep due to rainwater leaking into the bungalow. In the subsequent night, one of the hotel handymen were undertaking repairs of the roof of the bungalow so we were unable to sleep. Cleanliness was sub-par with sandy floors & several pests (incl. a cockroach) within the hotel. We rarely (if ever) post negative reviews but felt obligated to do so considering our overall poor stay. I wouldn't recommend a trip here. Happy to share videos.

Palm Garden is a large beach resort outside downtown Hoi An. We were upgraded from sea view room (under reno) to ocean front bungalow [Hotels are suffering due to down turn in tourism as a result of Covid 19]. We had a large open oversized room with doors that open onto a patio and open lawn with loungers on ocean side - but no beach (apparently washed away overnight in storm 7 Yrs ago). Also a great size pool and several restaurants (did not use) The people at the resort were so friendly and helpful.

The hotel was lovely and clean and staff were very friendly and accomodating. Unfortunately, one of the main reasons we booked with the hotel was because it advertised a beach in the resort. There was no beach and instead there was a high wall just looking out at the ocean and we were quite disappointed.

Firstly I would like to say I don't like leaving bad reviews. And in particular this place has two good things ; kind people and good breakfast. The pool is nice too itself
However that's where it stops. Mildew in the umbrellas by the pool and in the room. Old facilities. Nothing in the room - hair dryer ? Plastic bags for laundry are absent, the soap and shampoo is in refillable old bottles ? The TV's are not modern , the bar and restaurant look old and sad, the beach is unusable and it's far from anything and everything. I expected a five star resort but found a 3 star place that has been riding the cozy Vietnamese tourist board 5 star rating. Undeserved. Given all the options in the area I walked away feeling ripped off and deceived from the pictures and reviews. However that's where it stops. Mildew in the umbrellas by the pool and in the room. Old facilities. Nothing in the room - hair dryer ? Plastic bags for laundry are absent, the soap and shampoo is in refillable old bottles ? The TV's are not modern , the bar and restaurant look old and sad, the beach is unusable and it's far from anything and everything. I expected a five star resort but found a 3 star place that has been riding the cozy Vietnamese tourist board 5 star rating. Undeserved. Given all the options in the area I walked away feeling ripped off and deceived from the pictures and reviews. As a 6 year Vietnam veteran with a Vietnamese wife who was equally unimpressed please avoid this is not worth the asking price

The staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms were very nice and clean, and food was great. We went in December so the there was no beach and it looked like it was under repair. The beach photos do not seem to match what we saw but we understood that the waters are lower in the spring time.

To clarify Hoi An has beach erosion problems. This hotel is on the beach with a lovely strip of sand and beach lounges. Everything was spectacular except the food and drinks. It is very expensive - okay but not worth the money. There are little beach restaurants north of the hotel that are great and very well priced.
