This hotel was truly breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, everything about the experience felt thoughtful and peaceful. The views were incredible, the atmosphere was calm and beautiful, and every detail felt intentional. The pool was spotless and instagram worthy.

The staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and perfectly designed to let you take in the surroundings. Waking up here and ending the day here was something special.

Wonderful short break!

I had a lovely stay and was extremely well looked after by the lovely, friendly team. I was upgraded to a sea-facing room which was very special! The food was great with a mix of Vietnamese and international cuisine.

There was a small issue with the minibus collecting guests from Hoi An town - he did not communicate his presence, and I was unable to locate him! This was easily resolved by a cab ride. It did not spoil my fantastic stay there.

The Victoria is the best u will get at Cu Dai beach and it’s a favourite of ours after 4 stays over the years. However u need to measure expectation with reality ! Location is stunning but property is old and needs refurbished! The junior suites are still good but the property just lacks attention to detail ! The reception staff are ok .. security and pool staff amazing! Bar and restaurant staff lack enthusiasm. The manager was present but not really engaging or interested sadly! Having stayed in town at La siesta .. customer service is outstanding.. we were spoiled! As long as we go here expecting a good 3 star u will not be disappointed but it’s bu no means the 5 star luxury advertised ! It’s still got a soft spot for us and just willing it to become better at the the little details !

The property had access to the beach, pool, and it was not far from Hoi An Old Town. We were able to do daily excursions conveniently.

They are currently doing heavy construction to preserve the beach area off the coast in front of the hotel.

Property was good, attached to beach but there was no vegetarian food options in room service menu and modified prepared meal by staff wasn't good. We were later told during check out that there was separate food menu for vegetarian, so I think this should be mentioned during check in. Also massage we took wasn't good.

Great to be by the beach and easy to get into town every day/evening. Staff all very helpful. Had a fantastic ocean suite - very spacious and right next to the beach with beautiful views. It has a lovely colonial feel, but could maybe do with a bit of a refurb. Pool doesn’t really have enough loungers but we were out most of the time, but the beach has loungers too, where there were not many people which was great. Would definitely stay again.

Truly wonderful hotel in Hoi An.

Fantastic stay at a wonderful hotel. I hate to use such a cliche as charming but it’s the word that best describes the property. We had an oceanfront room - well worth the extra expense. Beautiful grounds, attentive staff, decent gym - we felt like we were well taken care of in every way. My wife loved the spa and the boutique at the front of the property. You have to walk down a ways to truly enjoy the beach but it was nice once you did. If you want to use the free bikes make sure you get the newer ones. Don’t settle for the old rusty ones.

We only stayed there one day after a few days near Old Town, and although we had some rain the walk up to An Bang beach along the sand was nice (approx 3km). We also walked to dinner at a local restaurant called Mate's restaurant, which I also recommend for a quality fresh meal.

They also did Yoga on the beach and a good selection of tours to book . The shuttle bus was handy to go into Hoi an . Will definitely be going back for the 3rd time and also had a lovely pool .

Perfect ocean front Hoi An Hotel

This hotel has been a go-to spot for us in Hoi An since 2007. Although the level of tourism is off, the management and staff continue to provide excellent service and support to the visitors. We look forward to seeing this facility back to the capacity levels of pre-covid years.

This facility is a traditional oriental design and service delivery on the ocean with easy access to the old town in Hoi An. A serene retreat.

A welcoming hotel in a nice location away from the crowds and right by the sea. The rooms are lovely, we were given an upgrade to a deluxe garden view room which was spacious and comfortable and with a great sea view. There is an excellent selection at breakfast and the pool is nice, plenty of room to swim. But the best part of this hotel is the team that work there. Everyone gives their all to make sure that you have the best stay. It was my birthday on the stay and the breakfast team sang to me and gave me cake. Each evening the housekeeping team provide a wonderful legend and chocolates for your pillow. I loved the stories and have kept them all! Nothing is too much trouble for any of them, from the pool team to the reception. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I got food poisoning from breakfast and there were Geckos in my room. As a result, I decided to move to a different hotel for the last night. When I notified the hotel they were unconcerned and refused my request for a refund for the final night even though I didn’t stay there and they got me sick.

We booked a room with an ocean view. The room was very spacious. It had a wonderful outdoor garden shower. The waves from the ocean nearly crash up on to your doorstep. There's also a patio with chairs outside your room to enjoy a drink with your partner. The service was wonderful, and they have a currency exchange at the hotel.

Lovely hotel right on the beach, the staff couldn't be more helpful.
The rooms are great.
The pool area doesn't look that big in photos but there are lots of sunbeds and there is also a private beach.
There's also a free shuttle bus to the old town which is great to see.

All the staff at the hotel go the extra mile to ensure that you have a great stay. All are friendly and helpful and happy to provide advice and information on the local area and activities

The hotel itself is spotless and all amenities are working as described. The pool was located adjacent to the beach so there was a fantastic cooling breeze blowing across - definitely needed in the recent 30C temperatures there

Food at the hotel was great, including breakfast where there was plenty of choice of freshly prepared items, and dinner and lunch selected from the menu and all at very good prices.

The hotel is about 3 miles, 5-10 mins outside of Hoi an old town but they run a free shuttle several times a day which was very handy. Having said that, the taxi fare is not the much anyway - around 10k VND=£3

The surrounding area has a number of restaurants where you can get cheap Vietnamese and western style food and there are a few shops and pharmacies for necessities

I would definitely recommend Hoi An and the Victoria spa resort.

I can’t rate this property more for our stay in June!

We stayed for 4 nights for our Honeymoon and it was absolutely lovely!

The staff were so wonderful, provided us a free upgrade and had arranged a special treat for us in our room.

The pool and surrounding areas were just beautiful. The resort was so calming and relaxing.

Happy hour was an excellent addition for a few cocktails. As to be expected the beers are more expensive at the hotel than in town. But paying a little more to lay around the pool was worth it for us.

The hotel offered a shuttle in and out of Ancient Town 3 times a day and even squeezed us on when one night we forgot to book.

On check out, the called and Taxi and arranged a fixed price that was substantially cheaper than our Taxi there and as we left at 5am for a flight, they had arranged a breakfast bag for each of us as we were leaving before breakfast opened.

I would happily stay again if we ever returned to Vietnam!!

The resort is set in beautiful gardens right next to the sea with its own beach. The rooms are spacious, the pool overlooking the sea is so relaxing and mainly the employees are incredible. Dont trust the Victoria

If you think tbey offer an airport ahuttle, they do not. Even if it comes with the green tick under amenities on the Hotels.com website. They do not. For a.hotel that is over 30 mins from the nearesr airport (and about 15 mins drive from the shopping mall of tourist tat that is downtown Hoi An - please don't believe the 'old town' naming that suggests history and culture as it is anything but) this is a major failing. Their attitude was dismissive and rude. Not what you would hope for at the premium rates they charge.

The service is poor (eg. can you come down to collect your room service drinks as we are too busy to bring them to you ... When we had already waited 15 mins and there was no other guests around). The management invisible. The pool over-crowded. The cocktails watered down. The pork spring rolls made from shrimp (as we ran out of pork ... but chose not to tell you). The local tours crazily over priced.

The thing with almost every hotel and excursion in Vietnam is that they over promise and under deliver. You could say they lie to lure you in. They probably call it marketing. it isn't. it is deception.

And the Victoria showed absolutely no interest in addressing our concerns or ensuring our satisfaction. There are lots of other hotels in the area.it's your choice but i would not stay in the Victoria again.

Pool area is excellent, definitely the best pool/bar we experienced in Vietnam. “King bed” was just two doubles pushed together, which is common in Vietnam, but fairly uncomfortable.

Spent 4 days with our adult children. Something for everyone. Two never left the pool. Free shuttle into old Hoi An gave us plenty of time to explore. Rooms overlooked ocean with outdoor shower and covered porch. Drinks served at the pool bar were not great but great view made up for it. Kayaking with a guide to the early morning fish market was extraordinary. Be aware that walls between rooms is super thin.

This is a stunning small resort and perfect for families of all ages and couples. The staff stand out, their drive to make a difference is phenomenal, I couldn’t be more grateful to them for everything they did for my family and me.
The food is stand out, it’s delicious. You will pay hotel rates rather than local rates but it’s still cheap to anyone from western countries.
Comfortable room with everything we needed. My daughter loved the two pools and the adults found the steps into the ocean great and also the private beach.
Cannot rate highly enough, I hope I come back one day.

We had a lovely stay! Staff was super friendly and food amazing! I got an upgrade to the sea view room because of my birthday, which made a big difference!!! Wonderful room, rain shower, balcony, bathtub.

This was a trip with 10 friends. The ones that stayed in the standard room enjoyed it, but one had a clogged toilet and the other one found a cockroach in her room.

Spa was ok- a bit dated and not as clean as I expected.

A slice of paradise in Hoi An

I had an amazing time with my friend at the Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa. The junior suite with ocean view was great. The pool and swimming in the ocean was amazing. Cocktails by the pool made for amazing holiday and the staff was so friendly and they all did a wonderful job to make our holiday. The proximity to hoi an old town was fantastic and regular free shuttles made it so easy to go to this great spot often. I highly recommend the cooking class trip organised by the hotel, loved it!!! Overall a great destination with gorgeous staff you made us feel welcomed and took great care of us.

Having splurged to stay at this hotel we did have quite high expectations (comparative to England hotel prices)
The rooms whilst of a good size and having an amazing view (we had sea view bungalow) are getting slightly outdated and need a bit of tlc, the private beach is a good size but there are no toilets - and the public ones that are there are vile. The entrance to the beach needs work it looks tatty and uninviting.
It is very expensive for Vietnam. I was very shocked to see that on top of already high prices (200 dong for fries!) they then add service charge and another “tax” when checking to out
The free bus is good but needs to run much more regular and later in peak seasons as you are 20 minutes away from the town.
The turn down service was good and the rooms had tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the pool is lovely.

The private beach is not crowded and the beach beds are comfortable and well maintained. All the staffs are helpful and very kind. An bang beach is 5-10mins distance from this resort by taxi but personally I prefer the private beach. There are shuttle buses to Hoi an old town which is useful. Overall, it was very pleasant stay.

Extremely loud and irritating music — 90s rock with irregular, haphazard beats and traditional Vietnamese drum performances also with irregular beats — played at the pool on most nights. It permeated my room such that I was unable to read or sleep. Although it stopped by 10pm, it was very irritating and not an ideal calm environment, particularly if jet lagged. I highly recommend to the hotel that they rethink their poolside entertainment to include calmer, quieter music.

Lovely resort 15 minutes from town. Excellent and friendly staff. Nice location with pool and private beach. Very good breakfast buffet with wide variety of options. They have a free shuttle bus going to and from town centre. Would stay at this resort again.

A beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing Resort. Our rooms faced the ocean, and there is a small private beach mere minutes from our room. The staff was sweet and accommodating, and the location was great.

Beautiful hotel, great pool & beach.
Large, well designed and clean rooms.
Rich breakfast, very friendly staff.
Only 12 min drive from mid Hoi An which is quiet but close enough.

Its location - Its right on the ocean! The view reminds me of Hawaii! The pool is very large and looks out over the ocean. They also have a private beach area for guests.
We enjoyed the delicious food, poolside, evening, and the breakfast buffet is out of this world.
Finally, the staff will go above and beyond to help you with tours etc...
