I like the big size of the deluxe room which comes with a bath tub. We had a great time there. The staff are very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room are quite comfy and spacious. However there were stains in the toilet bowl and bathtub has a weird smell. Overall it’s okay for a short stay. And the spa were great!

The hotel is clean and it is quiet. The massage is located at level 2, after the massage, we can go back to our room to rest. I like the convenience of Eska massage located at level 2. The staff are nice and friendly. Recommended to stay there.

Overall not too bad. The breakfast is reasonable for the price. They also have a free flow welcome drink (usual syrup beverage) counter at the lobby. The spa in the hotel is great.

Many shops in the immediate surrounding area are close down due to COVID, but there are some spa outlets, a conveniet shop, and a couple of restaurants within walking distance that are in business. Very close to Padang Golf course.

Room Reeked with Cigarette Smell

We booked 2 Superior Room Twin Bed Non Smoking for 28 to 29 Sep. Upon arrival, we are offered a free upgrade for one of the room to Deluxe Room with 1 Queen Size Bed. To our horror, the room was located on a Smoking floor Room No 323 and the whole room reeked of cigarette smell, including the shower curtains! We asked for a change of room but was told they are fully booked and only offered us a can of air fresherner. We are totally disappointed with the room provided, which made us very uncomfortable throughout the night and even our clothes reeked cigarette smell after we left the hotel.

Not a good stay

Booked 3 King Deluxe Room 3D2N. They gave the rooms in level 4 and 5. The hotel room interior looks beautiful and the bathroom was huge. However, The room was very dim with a few spotlights.

-The first night there were loud knocking banging @2plus am (Batam Time) for at least 20mins. I was too afraid to walk out and check.
- And around 3plus No water supply. (Both level 5 & 4)
- I called the receptionist counter for many times no one picks up, so I went down. And, There Isn't anyone. I supposed it's a 24-hour reception service?
- There's water at around 4plus and in dirty brown color.
- The Roof Top food portion is extremely small and more costy. The lighting are very dark.

Room was not ready when we arrived n we were told to wait for half an hour but otherwise was a comfortable stay. Counter staff n cleaner were polite n helpful. Carrefour is just opposite the hotel n a few Eateries ate nearby too. Will be back again

The only attraction worth seing here is the Budhist Temple.
Public transport is horrible if not non-existent. Grab is for some reason \"illegal\". Taxis don't use the meter but instead there is an over priced tarrif. There are so much small motor bikes that don't adhere to the traffic order.
One great thing though is that everything is cheap compared to Singapore.
The hotel is OK. Good option for a budget traveler. It's in front of a mall so you can pick up all the things you need there. If you are comming/leaving on a weekend, contact the front desk as there is a free shuttle service.

It's a straight forward hotel no gimmick or extra amenities. Location is quite near to batam center but no free transport on weekdays, so had to cab to hotel from ferry terminal on friday. But Spa massage was good, would come back for massage or visit other outlets instead of coming back.

Spent a night at Eska after a day at a spa. Check in was super quick and no fuss. Booked a standard room with a comfy kingsize bed. Toilet is clean and everything is well. Breakfast is satisfactory though not much of a fabulous spread. Overall happy with my stay and would come back again.

Hotel 5 min walking to shopping mall

Take note we are using Indonesia timing.

Stay at Eska Hotel from 23/4 to 24/4(Mon-Tue) with breakfast.

We reach Batam ferry terminal around 1.10pm. We were asking around for taxi finally we agree to settle with, 80,000 rupiah (around S$7.60) to Eska Hotel.
Driving there took around 15 - 20 min.
Check in was a breeze. Paid a deposit of 200,000 rupiah.

Then proceed to book the massage at level 2.
We book a 3hrs massage spa for 1,760,000 rupiah for couple consist of body massage, body scrub, jaccuzi, hair treatment or facial. Husband said the massage is good. We got good massage therapist. They gave us a complimentary free ride back to ferry terminal and gave me a lifetime membership.

We ate dinner at the nearby shopping mall(kapri mall)
Conveniently located in front of the hotel and good thing is that its Halal. Both of us ordered kangkong, steam fish small, salted chicken, fried eggs and avocado drink total cost S$25 dam cheap and very nice.

Next day breakfast buffet at the hotel was good compare to Biz Hotel. They have bake beans, potato wedges, mix fried vegetables, fried sweet n sour fish, fried bee hoon(the best), fried rice, eggs station where they fry eggs according to what you want, a mini salad bar, porridge, Indonesian kueh, bread section, cereal section, coffee/tea and cordial juice.

Room does not have window and stuffy . Aircon takes long to cool. The room is clean and the bed comfortable. One thing good, the bathroom and toilet are clean and comes with bath tub. Overall, hotel is Good value for money.

A Short Stay

It was an average stay as we did not like the strong sunlight but when the curtains were drawn it became so dark as the lighting was insufficient for the room. It’s also very noisy when dawn starts as the road is well used. However, the experience dining on the rooftop restaurant was awesome wt a romantic feel. The food portion was small but it was quite well presented and the quality was average.

Everything is fine, but during check in at 3pm our 3 rooms still not available, only 2 is available.. but we check in one more room late night, they still finding the room for us, wat they told us that they left only 1room but its under superior room, so they upgrade us w/o any charges, when we check in to the superior room, actually almost the same. Hotel is decent for the amount that we paid. Breakfast spread was small but served the purpose. We opted for the Deluxe King and the room didn't have any window. The moment we walked into the room, there was a bad smell, like a damp towel which wasn't dried properly. We decided to open the window in the bathroom to circulate the air and it was better after that.

before the trip, had tough time trying to get attention to add an additional bed for one of the rooms. check-in was slow and the room with the additional bed was only ready beyond the 2pm check in time. The additional bed was very shaky and could feel the mattress spring. Other than that, hotel staff are courteous and the hotel ambience is good.

OK for budget Hotel

The hotel is actually pretty good. The staff were helpful and all smiles everytime we approached them. There was a slight language barrier but we got over that after a few repeats. The hotel overall was clean and nice and its rather OK. Small but functional. The breakfast at the hotel is also OK, there is enough food to feed you till you are full but you can't be too fussy. I will advise to stock up on some bread items the night prior if the food on offer is quite up to your palate.
There was however nothing much else on offer. Kepri Mall (through Door 5) faces the entrance of the hotel. There are a few eating establishments on Level 1 and 2 of the mall and a big Carrefour. Simple food at a reasonable price.
There are a couple of Family KTVs to the left and right of the hotel entrance.
Eska Spa is located next to the hotel though I will recommend AGAINST going there but thats another story altogether.
The hotel is also quite far away from Nagoya Hill (for shopping and other activities) and Harbour Bay (for seafood). There is a display at the Conciege desk regarding taxi fares and should help serve as a guide. But I still bargain with the Taxi drivers before I jump in.
And there are always 1 or 2 taxis waiting outside the hotel for guests so its quite convenient.
Plus Eska Hotel provides a bus to Nagoya Hill and Ferry Terminals on the weekends so its really helpful.

The location is ok as the shopping center has a Malay cafe on ground floor that serves better food than the seafood restaurants at Nagoya and is more affordable.

However, the weather at the hotel location is very very hot and humid, uncomfortable to say the least. Breakfast was ok if a little too oily and spicy. Certain amenities were chargeable like an ice bucket which was unusual.
